We should try to set a date for Jan. 6th and a new wallet release.

If we can do a proper coin swap by automatically replacing everyone's coins to their original wallets then the possibilities are endless to the features THC can have. It would set THC up be able to switch to any algo/POW/POS method whenever we want.

Scrypt is really killing the community support of this coin. There are a few miners getting all the coins and not enough people with stable paychecks to continuously buy THC. There are tons of community members looking for a good x11 coin to mine. I'm starting to want to switch to x11 POW+POS like right now and then once a more complicated merge mining solution is developed... just redo an automatic coin swap.

1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][THC][1.7] The Hempcoin (THC) ✿ UPGRADED POW/POS ✿ Spread the Seeds ✿ EPIC on: November 26, 2014, 10:31:37 PM

It would be nice to see all the weed coins working together and the people working on THC are open to it. Personally I think ---- needs some more time to proof they are legit. It is always questionable to work with an anonymous ICO coin. THC is 0% premine fair launch, for the people.

In what day do you suggest working together?

Edit: I see placebo posting this same thing on every weed coin thread. He must own a significant portion of the GROW premine since he ran the ICO.

I would be interested in working with other coins that have proven themselves, rather than for 1 guy's agenda because he's got nice chunk of the premine.

placebo is all over the place. I remember he used to be in on THC a long time ago. He's quick to sell coins for a tiny profit and move on. I wouldn't go long term on any coins he is heavily involved in.

People need to realize that in 5 or 10 years CannaCoin might be the Budweiser of marijuana.

Even being the pabst blue ribbon of marijuana would be amazing.

WOW

CannaCoin forum is really active today.

This is a quality coin. Do some research and you will see. If you're looking to get involved in a marijuana coin then this is an obvious choice. I love that the price is still low. It gives new users a chance to buy a substantial sum of coins for $10 and be active in the community.

$10 could turn into $1,000,000.

I believe pretty hard in cryptocoins so I have dreams of coins turning into companies as big as StarBucks.

What's the current marketcap for CCN?

$48,200.01 USD

Super cheap if you ask me. It's hard to get a lot of coins at that price though.

1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] The Epic 420 Altcoin Joint Force - Together we stand! on: November 26, 2014, 09:32:00 PM

Here is my brain storming idea.

Use something like a "bitbasket". That's all I have heard of but I assume there are many other things like this out there. What happens is you burn your coins and receive another coin. The good thing about "bitbasket" was you were going to be able to get back the coins you burned. Maybe something like a "SuperNet/BlockNet" would work as well.

The one problem with this idea of burning coins for another coin always comes down to what is fair market value? Obviously no one is going to want to trade their coins until their coins go up 10x in value.

I like that many of the people involved in this coin post pictures of themselves. They aren't trying to hide anonymously and start a new coin like most other devs. They did Proof-of-Developer the proper way. They just posted pics of themselves!

I agree and join the party. Wink

You look like a genius.

LOL. I don't mean to diss all the highschool kids out there trying to make coins but it's nice to see someone with decades of experience.

I'm fine with a 2% PoSV rate. It's a cheap way for the blockchain to be maintained and secured compared to PoW. 2% of coins is almost 90,000 coins a year created to secure the network. I believe they are thinking about the future. 90,000 * $100 a coin would be $9,000,000 a year to secure the network.

I remember reading some other thing about users getting "dividends" once a year. I think PoSV coins and dividend payouts are too different things. Some of the people involved in this coin have other businesses/websites which you earn dividends from.

Hello everyone!

I'm happy to inform you that Cannacoin has been added to Altcoin.Center's high availability addnode seed network.

The network currently has four DDoS protected nodes and more will be added shortly.

The servers can be reached at the addresses:

addnode=seeds.altcoin.center
addnode=seeds.altcoincenter.eu
addnode=seeds.altcoincenter.us

It's nice to see third party support from Jyri at altcoin.center.

I believe his services are useful and will only improve with time.

CannaCoin is looking really good. I did some research and from what I found, CCN has the connections to do something huge in this industry.

This is the #1 crypto in this niche market but not highly valued yet. Right now is an amazing time to get in if you don't have any CCN. CCN price dropped 80% so grab lots of them today and get active in the community.

This is the "marijuana coin" for everyone to get behind. 0% premine. No ICO. No manual coin swap scam (a.k.a. devs steal coins from everyone and then gives some back). No instamine. Multiple devs. Third party support. And best of all, the marketcap is like that of a brand new coin.

Is there something actually wrong with PoSV? 2% interested stake per year is fine with me.

Oh my. I thought I had enough CCN but maybe I want even more now.

What is going to be the new total coin count once PoW is over?

Exchanges are jerks. They should provide all kinds of tools like block explorers and merchant solutions for coins. I would rather see a model where a coin pays a monthly fee to be listed on an exchange/web wallet/block explorer/merchant solution website.

There are so many exchanges. The cryptocoin community should pressure them to be better than they are today.

Who just sold me 250,000 THC at 38 satoshi? Why would anyone do such a weird thing.

i buy 150.000 in rate 34 and sell in 38

Sounds good. Do that again!
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MaryJane the Chill, Sexy & Secure Coin...[ANN|MARYJ] on: November 25, 2014, 12:52:35 AM
I don't think any PoS coin has a lite decentralized android wallet yet.

PoS is cool because it removes the need to pay PoW miners but PoS is really far behind in technology compared to PoW.

I hope someone will invent a PoS android wallet before April 20th.

It took 100,000 THC to make hemp.cash viral and crash the wallet. This time I have 250,000 THC for it once I make it scalable.

In case anyone cares, THC is marked for delisting on c-cex.

dudes you might not do lots of trading at c-cex but they have a nice merchant tool that allows listed coins to access, that alone is worh keeping the market listed

Yeah, I contacted them about just paying them a small $10 a month fee to keep it on the site. I like the merchant api.

Neat idea but risky for a merchant. Could spend a lot developing a web store only for c-cex to delist the coin. Exchanges could care less about the quality of a coin. I hope one day there is an exchange that only lists good quality coins.

Maybe if you contact c-cex and let them know you have a web store.

The benefit should only be viewed as a benefit.   Each coin should have in their near future plans to have their own store, their own private exchange, and their own way of moving money from fiat of all kinds to community currency safely, securely and with easy.

There are so many exchanges now. I feel like they should start offering services like block explorers, add nodes, merchant APIs and many more things as standard things to attract coins to trade on their site.

I just got into NEOS.

Is this an all time low price?

The price is 10x undervalued now

What was the lowest price this coin ever sold for though? Do you know? The pics on one thread show 71 satoshi but that could have been faked to demo something.
