Also thats At-The-Wall numbers, take into account 80% efficiency PSU's and thats easily 0.56W chip level consumption. Not too bad really.
Yeah, a 20nm chip that's about as efficient as Spondoolie's 40nm chip. Spondoolie's 28nm chip will slaughter KnC.

Dear AMT, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT, ON OR BEFORE 6/16/2014, DEFENDANTS SHALL ANSWER OR OTHERWISE RESPOND TO PLAINTIFFS' COMPLAINT
Now that 6/16 has passed, what was the answer you filed?

All bitcoins have a history stored in the blockchain. Any "fake" bitcoins will not have a history there, and as such, the software automatically detects such fakes.
It's simple, really. If you somehow had vast amounts of computing power, you could mine all of the rest of the bitcoins faster than you could crack a single address.
I would be interested in cloud mining, but only if the coins received were truly freshly-minted coins.
Mathematically it is possible; statistically it is nigh impossible
No one has ever done it. No one will ever do it. For all intents and purposes, it is not possible.
My dream for a miner: the one WITHOUT fans. Can it be done with large enough heat sinks?
Bitfury from last year could run without fans.
A 1000w PSU? Sounds too weak.
Easy instructions for running a node like that would be appreciated. I guess there would be a a few dozen people doing that, since there is still capacity to run other, basic stuff like IRC there.
$ sudo apt-get install bitcoind * create ~/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf with "rpcuser=something" and "rpcpassword=somethingcomplex". $ bitcoind -daemon

I'm not joshua zipkin. I'm a freelance employee of AMT. I didn't start working for AMT until a few months ago.
So what's your job responsibilities? AMT is many months late on delivering a working product. Shouldn't you be working instead of trolling forums?

Good point Craig.
That being said hows your court case going? Lawyers let you off the leash to go and post on the forum? Or is this all circumstantial evidence which can never be used in a court of law due to the people in charge of this forum.
I know.. And im just a newbie. But i think AMT is going to deliver everyone a working miner accept for Craig lenell. Because Craig lenell is annoying bastard, and even his lawyers can't stand him anymore.
Looks like someone found an old sockpuppet account they forgot about. Hi again!

Any ETA on when the BFL website will be back? Come on guys... you know the answer! Maybe two weeks?
May I'd say, with BFL's "track record",at least June or later even Some "rough" calcs: Good call. We're well into June and no Monarchs. Here's the current calc. Difficulty 11756551916.9 Price $630 Bitcoins per day: .026 Dollars per day: 16

What average price did you get per bitcoin?
His house was listed for $405,000 CDN, and he received 648 BTC, so $625 CDN, that's what, $575 USD?
you "forget" that the OneStringMiner board price of 65.52 is without 21% VAT for business owners and it is 25GH/s not 30 to 38GH/s.
Ok, I didn't see your prices were VAT-inclusive. That makes it €79.28 verses your €125. It's the same 14-string Bitfury chip. The speeds are the same.

I don't understand.. cloud hosting - bfl preorder ?? We don't do preorder, we only sell in stock products so what is to compare?
The price compare with cex.io is just to let people see we are not that much overprized. Of course there is a difference between hosted/cloud mining and mining with your own device. But if you want to mine with your own miner we believe we can offer a great product.
There's lots of places to compare your prices to, and they are all far better priced than yours. But here's one that really proves the point. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.01 OneStringMiner board, €65.52 Same basic Bitfury 14-chip string design. Not only is their board half your price, but it even includes the hashing controller, which you put on a different board costing another €120.

It's all variables and it's all risk. Whether or not you choose to accept it is the question. You can't just make a blanket statement of "if it's not under $2 per GH, it'll never ROI." If the price of BTC shoots up to $1000 tomorrow, that $2 per GH will ROI just fine.
If you need BTC to skyrocket to ROI, then you're far better off just buying the BTC.

Why would anyone believe you at this point BCP? 0 credibility.
I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. I think he cracked. Something not right with him.
