1901  Economy / Speculation / Re: If someone buys Bitcoin today, they'll be lucky to see a 300%+ ROI. on: March 04, 2014, 08:38:25 AM
I'm currently in 600% ROI with Auroracoin in just 4 days of investment. OP your topic is older than that still pretty old so already your point is proven wrong. Now crawl back to your bear cave.
1902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it my imagination or does Bitcoin tend to gravitate towards $666 on: March 03, 2014, 08:39:14 PM
OMG it's happening again

1903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats happening? on: March 03, 2014, 03:53:06 PM
I also had an urge to sell some in greed. But then I thought "what if everyone thinks like that?" and based on that I decided not to sell. Instead I bought into AuroraCoin Cheesy (not that it's anything to boast about but at least currently I'm in 400% ROI).

1904  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Bitcoin URI to send to many addresses? on: February 28, 2014, 05:11:23 PM
So I googled around and searched the forums but didn't find anything explicit.

I got this from some BIP related wiki:
bitcoin:R-175tWpb8K1S7NmH4Zx6rewF9WQrcZv245W?amount=0.567&label=book&req-aal=1tZdShH7b38klseWrTZm5sE8PrtZPwqdK:0.123:game&message=Thank%20You

and it doesn't work.

Is there any way to make URIs that would fill in a transaction that has many outputs?
1905  Economy / Speculation / Re: High frequency traders want to speculated on bitcoin? on: February 28, 2014, 12:04:21 AM
high-frequency trading is not well understood by the general public

isn't it pretty much like cheating? I mean the exchange itself obviously has 1ms ping with its own servers. someone would soon situate their bots over the street of bitstamp's servers Tongue just to get better ping than anyone else
1906  Other / Politics & Society / Re: senator-calls-for-bitcoin-ban-2014 on: February 26, 2014, 08:33:41 PM
politicians are useless species. i would rather have google optimizing and balancing nation's budget
Lol'd  Cheesy This would probably give better results..

And Amazon suggesting laws and regulations Cheesy

"Parties who have banned prostitution have also banned bitcoin, do you wish to ban bitcoin too?"
1907  Other / Politics & Society / Re: senator-calls-for-bitcoin-ban-2014 on: February 26, 2014, 08:16:04 PM
Can't blame him, probably still emotional from loosing his GOXcoins.

or pirate40 coins Tongue
1908  Other / Politics & Society / Re: senator-calls-for-bitcoin-ban-2014 on: February 26, 2014, 08:14:16 PM
I call for ban of the torrent network.
1909  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH, $5,500...coming soon on: February 26, 2014, 09:39:47 AM
"Size only matters when you're full grown, baby!"

Is bitcoin full grown yet? Hell no!

edit:
fixed a typo
1910  Economy / Speculation / Re: My mom saw the news and told me this is the end of Bitoin. on: February 26, 2014, 09:34:59 AM
Yeah it's kind of disturbing when your friends who know nothing about Bitcoin but see some news start telling you "you better watch out for that bitcoin thing" and post some stupid FUD article on your facebook wall Cheesy
1911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't Buy now at $400-$500, It's a Chinese Art-of-War PUMP on: February 25, 2014, 12:17:28 PM
Interesting concept. I starts to look like a parabolic downfall already.
1912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp - wanted to withdraw money and was hit with these weird KYC questions on: February 25, 2014, 11:53:13 AM
I wonder if Germany still has these laws that say you don't need to pay taxes on bitcoin investments older than 2 years or something.
1913  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp - wanted to withdraw money and was hit with these weird KYC questions on: February 24, 2014, 10:29:46 AM
A small update from me. They agreed to cancel the sepa withdrawals and send me the bitcoins. Now I got back my bitcoins and I am done with bitstamp. I deactivated my account and just hope that they will delete the scans of my id card.

That's cool! Where are you planning to do your bitcoin business now? I was advertised bitcoin.de, do you think it would do?
1914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt.Gox Rally! Testing Withdrawals Proof on: February 23, 2014, 10:20:55 AM
A press release to document a reddit thread. Brilliant. And this is how rumors can spread so quickly and be seen as 'facts' and 'press'.

Well, at least it's not a press release to document a BitcoinTalk's Speculation SubForum's thread Cheesy
1915  Economy / Speculation / Re: PayPal & Ebay to Integrate Bitcoin - get ready for $10,000 + on: February 23, 2014, 10:15:38 AM

FUDge for the bears.
1916  Economy / Speculation / Re: A ramp is near... on: February 22, 2014, 10:26:29 PM
Your dream in earlier October was prescient.  Will this make two in a row?

I'm still baffled by that October incident, I cared so little about that dream that I even had guts to make a topic about it Cheesy just for the lulz. Now I'm getting a bit nervous already.
1917  Economy / Speculation / Re: A ramp is near... on: February 22, 2014, 09:53:09 PM
I don't know what happens next but tonight I had really vivid dreams. I kissed with the girl I love and I also saw that Mt. Gox started allowing withdraws again and the price skyrocketed vertically up on Gox catching up other exchanges. The funny thing is that I don't care about Gox, I have no money there and I never had and I secretly hope that Gox gets closed down and crumbles into dust. In that context, the dream was a bit suspicious. We'll see.
1918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see 99 in Gox coins in the next couple of hours? on: February 21, 2014, 09:54:05 AM
Gox guys themselves buy. They lack funds ever since they were hacked in 2011 and their money was frozen in US 2013. The only way for them to catch up and not go to bankruptcy was to stop withdraws and buy the cheap coins. It may be their exit strategy. Mt. Gox is the pirate40 v2.0.
1919  Economy / Speculation / MtGox fakes their price on: February 21, 2014, 09:35:38 AM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tONLDwGK1Qc

That dude discovered that Gox prices were fake.

I think Gox is a goner, these things happen when many people start anticipating the downfall of some entity.
1920  Economy / Speculation / Re: The End of Bitcoin as a speculative Investment on: February 21, 2014, 09:21:16 AM
I'm asking this in advance:
"How does it feel to be wrong, OP? Does it burn?"
