If this is the way Brazil wants to play in this world cup then I think they won't even be in the finals. Cameroon were struggling throughout the match but due to brazilian defence incompetence they were able to score a goal. I am sure Brazil underestimated and were over confident.
Too many upsets in a single world cup that is for sure. By the way both Portugal and Brazil have already qualified for the super 16. It was just a game they had to play which does not mean that they might face issues in upcoming games. It was more like a practice match for them and they did try different approach which unfortunately benefitted the opposite team. Nothing too serious here for me and most of the fans. Zak Crawley made 122 runs and Ben Duckett made 107 runs. May be the pitch is flat and there is nothing the Pakistan bowlers could do, everyone scored a century except Joe Root. These type of flat wickets will not attract fans to Test cricket. Need some competitive aspect to the match and if not it will end up in a draw unless the Pakistan batsman messes up.

Ronaldo has always been a player passionate about playing, with his achievements I would expect him like every other player to focus more now on the money and getting richer but he is still hungry and eager to play more which is just shockingly amazing. I really curious to see which team he ends up joining after leaving United, hopefully a less difficult league. He does not have a problem with money, but rather with fame. It's not a good idea to have too much of anything. Money lust can't be stopped though, that's noise. After leaving Manchester United, Cristiano was offered a club in Saudi Arabia. There are enough things he has done for Europe that he may be able to thrive in a less difficult league. I was expecting the rain to interfere once again. But I was not expecting it to stay and abandoned the match. One and half day of T20 series was lost due to rain and now the same for ODI. It is pity that you wait for a series and it gets destroyed due to the weather as organizers never bothered to look into weather prediction.
I could not understand whether the rain was the cause of their failure or their misfortune . But why is this only happening to them? It is a strange phenomenon. However, no one has the ability to deal with natural calamities. So it is repeatedly hampering their matches. It is sad on one hand and amazing on the other ha ha This series has been hampered by rain, 4 out of 6 matches have been canceled. There is something very pathetic about watching both T20Is and ODIs be affected by rain. The result could have been achieved in only 2 overs for New Zealand, but it's unfortunate that no DLS rule was used. As a result of rain, this tour has repeatedly been hampered. The third and the final ODI will be played today. Newzealand have won the toss and selected to bowl first. Considering the first ODI if India wants to win the last match they would need a target of 320 plus. The weather at the moment looks okay but rain is predicted today. I do not want this match to get abandoned like the second ODI due to rain. If it does then Newzealand will win the series.
It is still not clear which team will win between India and New Zealand. With Shikhar Dhawan and one other player out, it looks like India will not be able to score 300 runs in this match. New Zealand bowlers are bowling well. India batting is under pressure. New Zealand bowler Adam Milne has 28 runs in 5 overs Got two wickets India is in pretty bad situation at the moment. I now doubt they will be able to give a decent target of 200+. The match has been completed dominated by the Kiwis bowlers. Not much batting left for India now. It is the New Zealand vs India, 3rd ODI and last match of the series. They lost all their wickets for 219 runs. They have to finish the innings within 47 overs. Where they had to lose by 306 runs in the first ODI match, 219 runs may not have any effect on New Zealand team. In Indian team everyone scored low except Washington Sundar and Shreyas Iyer. Due to which their total score didn't extend. Washington Sundar and Shreyas Iyer lead their teams with the bat in the first innings. Unfortunately, Indian batters were unable to reach a healthy total despite their efforts. For New Zealand to win the 3rd ODI match in Christchurch, they only needs 220 runs as Indian batters hardly reach the 200-mark. India lost the first ODI despite scoring a high total and the second ODI washed out, so New Zealand batters have a very easy chance of winning the ODI series with 2-0. In my opinion, a 3-0 result would have been achieved if the 2nd ODI match hadn't been rained out. |

Senegal is leading 1:0 against Ecuador in the first half of the game they will move to the next stage and Ecuador and Qatar will be out of the competition should Senegal maintain the one-goal difference till the final whistle. I believe the African team will hold on the goal and be among the first African team to qualify for the knockout stage if not the first. Ecuador against Senegal ended 1-2 in favor of Senegal. Despite losing their first game and having Mane out due to injuries sustained while playing for his club, Senegal was able to go to the round of 16 of the world cup. I was one of the select few who consistently predicted that Senegal will perform well in this World Cup and qualify, and they have. Senegal deserves praise for becoming the first African nation to advance from the group stage. Tbh Senegal did excellently well to qualify for the round of 16. Despite losing their star man, they kept the spirit of playing with seriousness. Ecuador had the upper hand to qualify because they needed only a point why Senegal needed a win. It’s surprising how it turned in favour of the Senegal National team. It’s really a big one for the Senegal team. Commitment, hardWork and teamwork did the trick. Senegal deserves kudos. There is a lot of balance in Senegal's team. With their wins against Ecuador, the African champions advance to the next round! With six points from three matches, Senegal finishing second in Group A, two points ahead of Ecuador, despite Ecuador's superiority. You should celebrate when grabbing a win out of the jaws of defeat. While I'm happy to see Senegal qualify, I'm concerned about their match against England. That's the end of Senegal's story! |

At this world cup,I don't think any other teams has a better squad, yesterday Neymar was injured but it didn't show too much because the coach decided to move Lucas paquata up front and replace neymar with Fred, when the are playing draw at the second half he chose to substitute Richarlison for Gabriel jesus which are quality players and like to like kind of strikers then they remove raphiha for Anthony. But they need Neymar present at all costs because if anything happens to vinicius junior then it will be a problem.
Brazil really missed Neymer yesterday that's why they were focused on the wings. Nobody to create chances from the center of the pitch. Neymer gets the ball and draws almost 3 players to himself leaving space for both wingers and both full backs to make runs. They lacked that yesterday. Raphinha and Vinicius couldn't even dribble well to take out players, especially Raphinha. Without Neymar, Brazil is never the same. His presence on the pitch creates a nucleus that drives the team forward. Despite the fact that Brazil won, I'm not convinced. They didn't take advantage of all of their opportunities. I won't believe that Chelsea is done with the season as we can notice that their performance has dropped even though Chelsea play stable football in some of their matches this season. But in total their overall performance has been poor this season.
