India A is already in the lead. They have absolutely destroyed Bangladesh A team as you said. This was a really shameful performance by Bangladesh A team.

And honestly, I don’t think we can say that this is the Bangladesh A team. Because almost all the important players of Bangladesh's main team are playing. At least five of the Bangladeshi players are well-known in the international arena. Bangladesh only scored 112 runs and lost all 10 wickets. And India scored 120 without losing a single wicket.

After end of second day play India A having big lead of 292 with very good opening stand of 283 give them good boost both openers done stunning centuries look like tomorrow third day of play could be last day of this match with an inning win is already on cards because visitors already have big lead and Bangladesh A is having not quality batting lineup which can give them good resistance against this big score.

At the end of second day play, India A is having 404 in only 117 overs with now Upendra Yadav and Tilak Varma both on crease with the stand of 27 runs, hopefully after having 30 to 40 more runs they will give home side batting.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul is making his debut today. He is the son of West Indian legend Shivnarine Chanderpaul. He has performed very strongly in the domestic circuit so far and therefore the selectors were forced to include him in the test squad. The only thing I don't want is his career to be negatively impacted by the ethnic and religion based politics within the WICB. Shivnarine himself was one of the foremost victims of race-based selection policy within West Indies. And it has resulted in a lot of promising players migrating to other countries such as USA and Canada.

Labuschagne's brilliant batting on the first day saw Australia able to collect a total of 293 for the loss of just 2 wickets. Labuschagne is unbeaten on 154. The way he is batting responsibly, I don't think he will return to the dressing room before 200. Labuschagne is now joined by veteran batsman Steven Smith at the crease. Smith remains unbeaten on 59 runs. If Australia continues to bat like the first day on the second day, I think Australia will score at least 500 runs, then declare the innings.

The West Indies captain used 7 bowlers. Even then they are not succeeding. The performance of the bowlers was really bad. I would say the West Indies captain should use Kemar Roach and Jason Holder in the first session tomorrow. These two bowlers did not get wickets today but they bowled well enough.

Most of the Bangladesh A team players are regular players of their national team as well. Even so, their performance against the India A team is shameful. Bangladesh's team has always been weak in the Test format. I have seen a such bad performance from them for a long time. Often I feel this team should be banned from the Test format. Watching such bad performances is a waste of time for the audience. However, this is my personal opinion.

India lost the first wicket for 283 runs, and the second wicket for 316 runs. Then they lost three wickets to collect 88 runs. I guess they will lose all wickets before 500 runs. Even then I think they can beat Bangladesh A team by an innings and 200 runs.

LOL.. I was wondering why the 2nd day of the test match hasn't started yet.. and then I realized that the match is being hosted at Perth. Australia got a very good start, with the partnership between Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith adding 142 runs so far (and that was after Usman Khawaja scored 65). West Indian bowlers looked completely out of sorts. Despite playing in one of the most bowler-friendly tracks in the world, at no point it looked as if they are able to trouble the Australian batsmen. My prediction is that Australia will make a total in excess of 500 in the first innings.

But Marnus Labuschagne has done an amazing batting and managed to score 204 runs from 350 balls. On the other hand, Steven Smith also got a century. In addition to Australia in this session they performed brilliantly in Test Cricket besides ODI. At the moment Travis Head is on the field, let's see how far he can take his journey for Australia.

West Indies ballers definitely having hard time on this pitch as far as wickets is concerned.

I really don't understand why PCB creating a road for every series despite having a good pace attack. Also, you are debuting 2 fast bowlers and giving them a flat track to perform? Not sure if it's some kind of sorcery or fuckery.

The way England are collecting runs, it seems that they will win the match even if they cannot survive for 5 days. England lost the first wicket for 233 runs. England collected 233 runs in 35.4 overs. They scored more than 6.5 runs per over. Looking at the batting of England's two openers, I don't think this is a Test format match. Batting like this, it is not a difficult task for England to collect more than 500 on the first day. Pakistan bowlers today look helpless on their own pitch.

Due to T20 the pace of cricket is very fast now and same is seen in Test format also. England were 233 in 36th over when they lost first wicket of Ben Duckett followed by Zak. Zahid Mahmood and Muhammad Ali are making there test debut and what a gift from PCB for these debutant. At the moment England are going with RR of 6.37.

So England become first team to score 500 runs on Day 1 and first ever team whose 4 players scored centuries on Day 1. What an innings by England batsman and still they have a day to score and make centuries .
Pakistani pitch is definitely suitable for England batters but let's see how Pakistan batsman will play on that pitch.
So England ended day 1 on 507 runs 4 wickets  (75 overs.)

Similarly, the West Indies are off to a great start, but they still have a long way to go! What are the chances of West Indies extending their winning streak tomorrow? West Indies could be down 3-4 today. Even though they bowled well, they couldn't get an edge. Despite Australia's strong bowlers, WI is doing well. I look forward to seeing Chanderpaul score big tomorrow with those bouncy bowls. As far as I'm concerned, this test match will end in a draw.

It is always a pleasure to watch test cricket on good pitches. However, there are road tracks everywhere. Rawalpindi followed Perth road. Cricket on a wicket like this is not suited to the game of test cricket due to its slowness, lowness and flatness. It needs to be competitive, but I'll wait until England bowls and swings it either way.

Sorry to say this but PCB should get some kick in the back from ICC for creating that absolute road of a Pitch for first test between Pakistan and England. There was nothing for bowlers in that pitch.

They did the same during the previous series against Australia, and back then also it backfired. This time they went with a very inexperienced bowling lineup. The only one with some sort of experience was Naseem Shah, and he performed relatively well. This is a lesson for all the sub-continental teams. If they prepare sub-standard pitches, then they need to be prepared to face the consequences. England batsmen just butchered the Pakistani bowlers today. There was no respite at any stage of the match. It was a relentless onslaught.

It's more like a Pakistani problem tbh and it's quite new as well. They just don't have confidence in their bowling and batting against BIG-3 ( in that case Aussie and Poms) They give spicy wickets to every other team like windies, Ban, SA, SL.

You would never see this kind of pitch in India, last time India prepared a flat deck against England (their last tour), the curator got fired unofficially. There is a reason we didn't lose a single test series in the last decade. This might change in the next 6 months or so tho.

But enjoying such test matches on batting-friendly, these types of matches are so boring. A lot of time is wasted. And these matches do not result, most of the time the matches are drawn.
England scored 506 runs in just 75 overs. It's unbelievable. They scored 6.74 runs per over. And their collection is 96 in the last 10 overs. Pakistan is playing a home match after a long time. The Pakistani audience may not have imagined that they would perform so badly.
