unsoindovo, no problem. But i think 12Tb very small for solo mine. if you have 120Tb then you can find block ))

Bullshit, you don't need 120TB to SOLO. 12TB is plenty.

Meanwhile, I woke up to 4 new blocks while you guys waste mining time on pools that only half work.  Huh

Solo is where it's at.

Yep, I am. I'll ignore the error for now, shouldn't be a problem.

I'm assigning each miner a worker ID, with payout set to poloniex. I can't see stats for each worker, this is the proper command to see all workers stats correct?

To view aggregated stats (and payments) enter: EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id

I'm only seeing my total hashrate, no individual worker hashrates.

To view stats when mining with payment_id, enter: EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id
To view indivual stats (payments excluded) when mining with worker_id + payment_id, enter: EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id.worker_id
To view your payments enter: EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id

EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id.worker_id Lets me see individual rigs properly
EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id Just shows me total hashrate for all rigs, without showing each rig's stats. Shouldn't it show details for all rigs listed individually? Or am I mistaken?

That functionality (to display each and every rig details when no specific worker is chosen) is not present (yet) but that is a pretty decent suggestion..

Ah, gotcha. I thought it was implied that it was working.

Dev? Pretty please?  Cheesy

They seem to happen every 30 minutes or so for some reason. I have never seen duplicate shares on the other XMR pools I've used before. Guess it's nothing to really worry about either way.

Ok, I switched 2 rigs over to test. Is this normal behavior?

Code:

Thinking about trying your pool. Would switch about 35 KH/s.

Probably KNC testing Titans before shipping them out next week.

I wonder what will be the next difficulty as KNC miners get released , interesting times ahead.

Might not be so bad, apparently Titans can mine both scrypt and scrypt-n. I'm guessing scrypt-n might take a pounding.

1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to solo mine with A2 Mini (scrypt asic) on: September 14, 2014, 02:36:15 AM
Solo mining works just fine with A2s. Just follow any GPU solo mining guide. Point your ASIC to your local machine running the wallet. Done.

SOLO>POOL if you have 5TB or more.

I have about 7TB but not in one peace, just divide for some rigs. I have to stay in pool :/

That's not how mining works, you storage does not have to be in one rig. As long as the nonces don't overlap, you could have 100TB spread across 200 rigs and it would be the same as having them all on one rig.

When you get a winning share for a block, it only comes from one of your plot ranges, not a combination of the whole.

Give solo mining a try for a day or two, you'll be happy you did. Not getting antsy is the key, set it and forget it and watch the blocks come in.

Im still plotting with the cpu miner instead of the gpu since it hasn't been tested thoroughly yet.  I got a 4770k overclocked running two plotting instances (one for each drive, 7 cores each instance and 2gb ram per instance).  Its slower but not not much worse than one instance was.  Still got one core to use the computer too

You bonehead.

An i7 has 8 cores with its hyperthreading.  You cannot put 7 cores on one plot job and ANOTHER 7 cores on another plot job at the same time!  Do you have the only 16 core i7 in the world?

That is the kind of math the liberal democrats in the US government have used to get us into another 10 TRILLION dollars in debt during the 6 years of "hope and change" under Obama!

He obviously doesn't have one, but you do know that there is now a 16 thread i7 right? 5960x.

You guys should stop dicking around with pool mining, I'm doing much better since I switched to solo mining yesterday. Let the pool operators get everything straight, until then enjoy solo mining.

Why just the other day I downloaded a car.
You Print, too? Grin

With all these pool/wallet issues, I guess it's time to go back to solo mining.

Agreed. I did that earlier, running SOLO now.

how often can a dozen TB find a block ya think?

I'm not sure, probably one every day or two. There must be a formula to calculate that, but I'm not aware of it. Luck is the biggest factor.

if its honestly luck people say "oh 500GB will never find a block" but if time isnt in question its just luck really could find a block in a day .... or in a week just less chance than the bigger guys?

Every GB is a lotto ticket, the more tickets you have the more chances you have. That being said, 200GB might find a block in 3 hours while a 100TB plot might take 12 hours or a second. Eventually, everyone earns at least as much as they would in a pool, possibly more considering there is no fee to mine SOLO and the pools are lacking detail right now which to me means they are to be considered shady at best until they have more understandable stats.

Not knocking pool devs BTW, I know this is a whole new ball game and I'm sure proper stats will eventually be available.
