1921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Abolute bottom of Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2021, 05:01:07 AM
Don't make too much expectation for this downfall mate because it can't help.. And honestly seems your just like those who's spreading fools prediction or a FUD despite of the declined ,, why not make a technical analysis first before doing this?
That's what I want to say too, I think that they are making a big deal out of it not knowing that the more we talk about it, the more we are going to see it go down. Not to mention that Elon didn't dump Tesla's bitcoin, they just suspended bitcoin payments.
1922  Economy / Speculation / Re: i think we will see bitcoin 44k sooner on: May 13, 2021, 12:13:09 PM
Not scared at all as I know it's possible to happen.

If we based on the past, it could dump lower than $44k.
AFAIR, bitcoin hit $20k and then dump to $3k.. so from $60k now, it's possible that bitcoin will dump $10k or below.

it's very unpredictable but one thing is predictable is that whenever it will dump, bitcoin always recover and eventually will create a new ATH again.
And if that was to happen then it will be good news for us individual investor because we have bitcoin at a cheap price and hodl it until it inevitably goes back higher than the last time it did and enjoy grandiose profits.
1923  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla stops car purchases with Bitcoin on: May 13, 2021, 11:25:52 AM
I think that it was just a suspension so technically they are still going to back at it anytime soon. That's pretty influential to have the prices drop because of their suspension though but I think that this is just a temporary price drop since Tesla didn't sold their bitcoins.
1924  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: May 13, 2021, 10:44:56 AM
~
Instead of chasing your choice, I choose other quiet parts of the market because for an influencer, they never let us know that we have come sooner or later, we cannot act solely on such a trend, looking at the value of the projects that the market pursues, quite a few investors have lost money to Elon Musk just because of one of his decisions. Today, a sad day for many people when they want to follow the crowd, learning from Elon Musk is learning how to control the game.
You aren't sure about the quiet parts of the market though, read the Keynesian beauty contest, it's an experiment that is trying to understand the psychology of the masses and it can be applied with the market.
1925  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 13, 2021, 10:01:00 AM

I agree with you. The volatility with cryptocurrencies is not what is attainable in Stock and most of the stock investors are more long term investors who have understand the company in which they are investing in and not like in crypto where people will be talking about 5 years investment, stocks are more 10 to 20 years investments and crypto is not there yet.
Don't get me wrong though, stock market is volatile too but it is pretty miniscule that it isn't even relevant in the first place. You can't attain a profit like in crypto with stocks if there isn't a lot of money involved in your stock market portfolio but you are guaranteed that it will go up over the long-term.
1926  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: May 13, 2021, 09:25:54 AM
What I learned from Musk's influence is that whenever someone who has the influence that can move market, I better get in early on that market they are shilling because the market moves base on trends and if they can make it trending, you better be an early adopter because their influences wane and if you are just part of the crowd, it will be too late to make a profit.
1927  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation speeds up in April as consumer prices leap 4.2%, fastest since 2008 on: May 13, 2021, 08:48:40 AM
This is for the US only though. I have read some articles regarding this inflation happening and a lot of them interviewed economist around the world said that we shouldn't worry about this kind of inflation because it naturally happens plus this isn't the first rodeo of US in terms of inflation because during the 2008 recession, they did giveaway cheques too. But you also have to be prepared for the worst, invest in something that will protect your money.
1928  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are not an "opportunity". They'll likely offer you less than you have now. on: May 13, 2021, 08:14:19 AM
Think of CBDC as a cheap imitation of the product which means that in the long-term you won't get a lot of value out of it since it is a depreciating item that isn't the same as the original not to mention that with CBDC we are all going back to the time when the government has control over us.
1929  Economy / Economics / Re: Year 2021-2022 will be very Good and very Bad. on: May 13, 2021, 07:24:29 AM
I think bitcoin will grow strongly in 2021 and will decline again in 2022. The covid 19 pandemic has weakened the economy so bitcoin has had a chance to grow. But when the pandemic is under control in 2022, the world economy will develop stably again. The value of bitcoin will gradually decrease, the bitcoin market will no longer be active, many investors will withdraw. Bitcoin will return to the original starting line.
How do you know that investors will withdraw their investments in bitcoin when everything becomes much better in the future, I mean if something made me money, that means that I won't stop investing in it. 2021 still has a lot of surprises with Tesla putting a temporary stop in accepting in bitcoin for a Tesla car.
1930  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 13, 2021, 06:41:50 AM

Most institutional investors always look for the safer side, with how crypto market works they are not convinced yet
that this business do offer long-term stability
That's the end goal for any investor, the investment should be safe and doesn't elicit fear whenever there is a big drop in the prices. Don't worry that they aren't in the market yet, they will come to this market sooner or later filled with regret that they started late.
1931  Economy / Economics / Re: US fuel pipeline hack / Ransomware / Impact on Crypto ? on: May 13, 2021, 04:56:08 AM
I don't see any effect though, crypto has been in this kind of news way back, so what is the difference now? Hackers have been targeting big companies in the US demand ransom in crypto as well. So this is just another news for us, but for those who has its own agenda against crypto, then they could take advantage of this news and make some noise to push their anti-crypto sentiments.
That's what the people of agenda will do it exactly, they will make it look like it's crypto's fault that there are these kinds of attacks when it was the company's that were targeted that were at fault because they had a weak security and I personally don't mind that these companies get finessed because the employees aren't hurt in this ordeal and the people at the top are hurt the most so anything that hurts the 1%, I am alright with that.
1932  Economy / Economics / Re: I feel the report about UK economy losing 700 billion is wrong!!! on: May 12, 2021, 11:14:10 AM
Do you have any backing claim that there is something wrong with their counting though? I know that people are complaining about their own government but at the least there must be some evidence that they did inflate the numbers to make it look worse, also I don't get how the government is going to benefit from this inflation of numbers.
1933  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 12, 2021, 09:50:57 AM
Maybe because crypto is still as volatile as it was back then and I don't think that a lot of people is going to be able to handle those graphs that goes erratic most of the time. And I think that FUD also plays a big role as to why people aren't going in crypto, they are too scared to try.
1934  Economy / Speculation / Re: One Year After The 2020 Halving, Bitcoin Price Has Gained 533% on: May 12, 2021, 08:48:56 AM
The price will rise even in spite of this. But most likely this year we should not expect any significant changes
What do you mean by significant changes? Is the current state of bitcoin going to change? I agree that the price will rise and I think the rise in prices is something that we don't expect, when that happens we will be like "I never expected bitcoin to reach this X amount".
1935  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Most favorable country for the crypto market on: May 12, 2021, 08:03:58 AM
I might be a little biased here but I am nominating my country the Philippines, I have been on the scene for a long time now and the least I have to worry when I sell my bitcoin is the network fees and the transaction fee of payment apps that I use but besides that all the money that I get are intact and no taxes to worry, we also have a high tax bracket so you can get a lot of money and not worry about taxes.
1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major arguments against Bitcoin born out of ignorance on: May 12, 2021, 06:33:47 AM

Not much of a summary to give, just be careful and understand that the only safe place for wealth is going to be diamonds and buried gold. All the virtual will probably evaporate by decree, once the NWO CBDC's are announced, right now China is field testing, and all of Asia. The US will be the last man standing, when they pull the plug on BTC, by then the ASIANS will have already made for the exits.

Who cares? The Rockefeller Family is ensured of ruling the earth with this move, they own major Chinese assets pre&post reset. GATES & MUSK will make out like bandits, they know what's going on.
Only way that crypto will evaporate out of existence together with our investments is to have every grid of electricity permanently destroyed and the Internet become unusable which is highly unlikely to happen and if it ever were to happen, it will take a lot of effort and when that time comes, chaos will ensue and I don't think that you should worry about your investment when those time comes.
1937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 12, 2021, 05:47:42 AM
Putting all eggs in one basket can be good or bad in both ways. It can be risky on other hand can be great profit. There will be some profit if you put coin like btc in one basket because btc has been limited supply with great marketcap so it will be profitable.
If you are so sure about the basket though then it will be good for you, I mean OP did put all the money on bitcoin and bitcoin can grow really easy in terms of prices. It is risky if you have no knowledge or the investment isn't sure to bear big profits in the long-term.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way of long term holding on: May 12, 2021, 05:10:13 AM

It is not just a matter of use, damage of some kind can also occur due to some external influences such as humidity or exposure to increased temperature. When you talk about the time capsule, then it first occurs to me that you might bury the device underground in some sort of protection or you might even use concrete and hide it somewhere in your basement. At least when it comes to Ledger, I know that these are not some premium materials (at least as far as the S model is concerned), and that these devices are not made to last indefinitely.
If your devices compromised because of exposure to elements then probably you are doing it wrong in terms of storage. Not every time capsule needs to be buried underground. Also if you worry about humidity and moisture damage then you should just buy some silica gel desiccant.
1939  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying/Selling Bitcoin for Cash... on: May 12, 2021, 04:26:04 AM
~

I think it depends on what they talked about before the make transaction.

There is really a good thing between buying bitcoin through cash so that fees will not bother you and you can have discount.
Yes, it depends because I am talking about how I have seen a transaction like this happen. I do like that it is a P2P because the fees are easily removed out of the equation.
1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tom Brady changes his twitter profile pic to Laser Eyes on: May 12, 2021, 03:42:21 AM
Just another boat to ride on. That's what I see but whatever he's going to do, if it's not for his own exposure then there must be other reason for it. And that reason is probably the NFT that has been said by the others above and there's no need for us to guess anymore the reason about that laser eyes.  Cool
I think that this is just a coincidence, maybe Tom Brady is going to be the next Cyclops in an upcoming X-Men movie, there are a lot of possibilities. I don't know about the NFT part but riding in that train right now isn't really good since the prices are starting to mellow out.
