1941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: April 30, 2022, 12:49:37 PM
I think paying for signals is not ideal. If you are interested in easy money or something, go to casinos instead of trading.

Anyway, the "why" they started their group is admirable, like risking hundreds of dollars to check if they are a scam or not is something not innovative when it comes to business side but for the knowledge of that maybe "interesting". I say this because it's a risk. Perhaps you can ask the administrator about it, let them know that you are creating a list, and make sure that they are not scamming you.

How are you going to determine if it's a scam, though? Because it's wrong? Isn't it going to be usual? Because that's what trading is. It's going to be complicated.

Is that going to be helpful for everyone? If you know the scams but still need to pay to know what groups there are. That's just taking advantage of the people who will be scammed, and you are not going to do anything about it unless they pay or something.
1942  Economy / Exchanges / Re: You can now buy bitcoin on telegram messaging app on: April 30, 2022, 12:41:43 PM
I didn't know that they have this bot in Telegram. At least there's an official bot for this. I did check and it has a blue check on the right of the username that makes it safe to do transactions with it. Cheques and my wallet are interesting and being able to tag with @wallet just make it easier to transfer etc.

For those interested in its news with the wallet, you can go here. https://t.me/wallet_news_en
1943  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more leg down on: April 30, 2022, 02:39:14 AM
They are probably saying things to have someone listen to them. Imagine them being able to create videos and create monetary benefits from it; wouldn't you make any content as necessary? You can post your opinions and share some facts, but that's still up to speculation because it's never going to be correct, right? It's just always going to be a guess.

We will never know what happens in the future; YouTubers probably have to make way for the audience to watch their videos even if "One more leg down" or "another leg down" would be said.

For me, the "one leg down" would always mean that it's going to go down first. In essence, how does one thing go up? If it came from something lower. Like falling, you will get back up, and that "up" means that you stand from a lower place. So technically, if you think about it, people want it to go down so that after that "one leg down it can consider it is going up since it came from below. Do I make sense of it or something?

Could these be accounts that they just registered and never used? Or accounts that are inactive and spam with likely passwords and be unlocked? Could that be possible? Is it like having it stored and using it once they have used or made a bot or something?

1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Move to earn - how it works, where does the money for rewards come from? on: April 26, 2022, 02:11:31 PM
Look at it this way. You can mint something or create a token for free, call it any way you want. Let's say X-Coin.

This said, X-Coin could be earned by doing a specific task. E.g., Move, play, etc.

Once you have done that, you can give the minted X-Coin without cost because you wrote the code and built it with certain conditions.

I think you are confused with the value it has or something. The market dictates that.
1948  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think top exchange listing news should be hidden on: April 26, 2022, 09:25:45 AM
Is it possible for a project to have Binance soon to be listed on its website and end up listing on Binance Exchange? As a newbie I knew Binance is a top exchange and probably one of the toughest to get listed on, seeing this makes me think its total bluffing, am I wrong?
I have read somewhere that you somehow have to have 50 BTC or something but I'm not sure it's true though. What I'm sure of is that it is said in the guides that the listing fees are being donated 100% to the Binance charity. [1]

Getting listed on Binance requires patience as well. You would need to apply to this as well but you need to be registered first. [2]

1949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where have you saved your bitcoin keys? (satoshi saved it in cd rom! allegedly) on: April 26, 2022, 03:27:38 AM
What I thought about this at the start is Mr. Robot. It is how he saves his hacks or something. Does anybody relate? Lol.

I think the alleged part wouldn't be reliable enough to know if it's saved like that or something, but it's a great way to do it as long as you know where you are putting it. Some practical ways are also paper wallets. Just make sure you have a way to recover it or something.

I'm thinking of innovative ways to save seed phrases now. Hmm.
1950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Save some money on Exchange Fees (Newbies should read this) on: April 26, 2022, 01:14:32 AM
Basically, Limit Orders would make you save money on fees, especially on futures and you just have to wait for the order book to get to your order in order to save some for your fees. When it comes to trading, I think FTX is one of the best exchanges as well especially on Spot Trading because if you would compare the following in your table, they have the less fees but you just have to have their token which is a good hold IMO because they are a great exchange as well.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: There is the same problem that the FTX Pro application for the android version? on: April 25, 2022, 02:22:26 PM
~snip
I've done that method before, even repeatedly doing it but still failing, as the OP said above, using a wife's cellphone, who had never installed Ftx Pro before, had the same problem.
So that's probably the application now or the connection itself from the application to the service provider. Have you also reported it to them that, that is the case? Because it shouldn't be a problem if you can use the website normally without the use of VPN. That's the problem, why should you even use it with a VPN if it's good, right?
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found a new hidden gem called AltSwitch. Do you think it will go 100x? on: April 25, 2022, 02:11:33 PM
"If you have extra money to burn, why not risk your money on this coin?"

Is this the type of attitude you are talking about, OP?

Anyway, I checked their website at https://altswitch.io/ and vetted the teams, and it seems like new accounts. The CEO and others have just registered the Twitter account this Feb 2022. They only created these accounts for this purpose, and I'm not sure that'll convince me.

Additionally, having a Chief Social Media Manager that has only 43 followers at the time I checked is something sketchy. Like if you are a social media person, you should have many followers already and have this channel to promote your project, right? So I'm not sure if this is legit or not.

Be careful about investing in this.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Hunt for new NFT project on: April 25, 2022, 01:13:12 PM
If you can determine the next BAYC, you wouldn't have any problems constantly investing in suitable projects. There are many projects now, so it's hard to select from the good ones that are not yet booming. It's always going to be a moonshot, you know? NFTs are almost always a compelling symbol of superiority or being part of a social club.

No one could know the next BAYC, but you can try to invest in some.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: There is the same problem that the FTX Pro application for the android version? on: April 24, 2022, 04:38:56 PM
I'm curious as to why that's happening suddenly. Maybe there's something to do with the phone app now or something.

Are you able to use their website normally without any VPN or something?

I'm not sure if this would help you but I saw this from Google Search

How to Fix FTX Pro Unable To Contact Server & FTX Pro Internet Connection Errors on Android:

This issue is usually because of the network you are using to access the FTX Pro app. There is a high chance if you fix your mobile data or your WiFi connection, you may not have issues with FTX Pro. Here is how:

On your phone, go to "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Next up, locate the FTX Pro App and click on it.
Click the "Force Stop" option.
Next, Go to "Storage" and select "Clear Data". Click "OK" when asked to reconfirm.
Next, Go back to the FTX Pro app tab and click on "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Now, Go back to your phone's "Settings" page and click on "Connections" option.
Go to "Mobile Network" and scroll to "Network Mode".
Now, Put your network on the 4G option. In case you are not clear, it looks like this: LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch the FTX Pro app.
1955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 24, 2022, 04:30:26 PM
Isn't it going to be price manipulation already? Or it's okay since they are the owners or something? If they have buyers and investors willing to become part of their economy, why not?

So if you say that the top gainers for the day get a lot of exposure, shouldn't that be continuous? If the impact of being there is high, won't every coin try to be there? I don't think it's a lasting effect, and it's just for the short-term gain.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUENGINE AND THE MODERN SCAM PART 1. on: April 24, 2022, 03:02:25 PM
So you are saying that it's going to be multiple parts? Kidding aside, it's always going to be that risky if you will be investing in something that is not yet known or a project with a sketchy background or something. They can always blame hackers or something, but you would see how they would react if it's a real thing or not because they would act differently.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH wallet password on: April 24, 2022, 01:49:58 PM
That's one of the most confusing parts for newbies sometimes. When you create the wallet and input a password, it's needed. But all you need is the private key or seed phrase then you can import your wallet again. That's why it's easy to import from different wallets as long as you have the private key.
1958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is accused of providing users data to Russia on: April 24, 2022, 01:21:30 PM
Russian government would have banned Binance in Russia if they refused to cooperate.
I did research quite a bit on it and they are the second-largest volume in trading next to China. So they wouldn't want that for sure. This could be the strong arm or something.

The fact that Binance is not banned in Russia after donating to Ukraine and helping with NFTs for Ukraine could be viewed as circumstantial evidence that they indeed work with Russian government. Because Russian government have closed "extremist" sites like Instagram and Facebook over their support for Ukraine and refusal to fully comply with Russia. With this logic they should have banned Binance for donating to Ukraine, which according to Russia is a Nazi country that kills Russians.
Probably there's something underneath, hmm.

Could of just been a PR stunt so to make them look good in the eyes of global leaders.
I remember reading something about CZ working with the Chinese government but can't recall what that was. So it must of not been that important and just white noise when it comes to this exchange.
They tend to bend to the will so to whitewash their reputation and look good to all who they want to have deals with and intend to in the future.
It could've been. As long as they make it seem that they are doing good, they do it. I hope there are no more scandals on it or something because it's not great to have that with an exchange like Binance. Kinda sketchy
1959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is accused of providing users data to Russia on: April 24, 2022, 09:55:31 AM
This is alarming because I know that Binance also donated funds to Ukraine to help those in need and recover. But the facts that Binance put forward are convincing because they did help analyze data towards cybercriminal rings, and they did do good on that. So, what benefit would they get in providing data to Russia? Unless there's something more underneath it all.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 24, 2022, 09:43:48 AM
I do think that it's a necessity towards the "outlook" of the business itself because if they are new and they want to be known in the community, let's say here in Bitcointalk, the way they can do that is through someone that is a part of the trustworthy people. And it's up to the bounty managers to discuss whether they want to represent it or not.

It's always going to be an advantage in BTCT that someone could represent you on your behalf because they are the ones who know the workarounds of the forum and how they can market their company effectively.
