1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help on selecting stablecoin for gambling site on: May 21, 2021, 10:32:45 AM
Transaction fee is related to the chain on which one stable coin operates. There are many chains that support Tether USD. If it is ERC-20, fee is crazy high. If it is TRC-20, it is low and nearly free.

Other chains for USDT can be HECO, SOLANA, MATIC (Polygon), BSC.

You can consider BUSD too.

1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you swap your BTC for ETH and then ETH back to BTC in macro terms? on: May 21, 2021, 10:27:20 AM
BTC has a 4 year cycle. When it peaks, the next month or so ETH has run up  like crazy.
You can not rely on past records to make your speculation then decisions. Bitcoin and Ethereum are different cryptocurrencies and their prices will be decided by upgrades, developments on their networks.

What you said is relating to capital flow on the market. From Bitcoin to altcoin and Ethereum is the biggest altcoin. However capital flow solely can not help price to rise.

Ethereum can rise one, two or three moths after Bitcoin tops up. You can not certainly it will in only one month.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: May 20, 2021, 08:24:13 AM
Any news regarding the new smart contract or the audit? or when will be the initial launch of the new smart contract?

Dear meanwords,

The contract has been submitted for audit and standing in the queue now. It will be done shortly. Most of the companies that are doing audits have a 3-4 months queue. Some of them have free slots for audits only from December 2021 since everyone has a huge workload due to the hype in the cryptocurrency industry.

Regards,
Support Team @ Digital Gold
https://gold.storage
I wish that the audit process will be completed within 2 more months. The cryptocurrency market will have good time in last quarter and the Digital Gold project need to take this good time.

As a senior participant and supporter of this project, I put my belief in the team. I don't have minor worry about the process as well as delayed payments as consequence of a new smart contract and audit process.

Funny but need to be said. If there had been accidents in the past that forced me to hold my ETH (I exchanged GOLD to ETH), I would have had more money in my account.  Kiss

Be strong, be careful and good luck!
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (QTUM) - A Scalable Smart Contract Platform w/ Proof of Stake on: May 20, 2021, 03:49:10 AM
I think community can't miss the update about this, Qtum Core version 0.20.3 has been released with a dozen new QRC20 calls and other improvements.

https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases
The cryptocurrency space has big improvements and growths in past two years. Years ago, it has ERC20 chain as a biggest chain beside the Bitcoin chain.

Recent two years, it has TRC20, Binance Smart Chain, HECO chain and more bridges over chains.

Gladly to know QTUM has built up its QRC20 chain.
1967  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges let you fill your own order? on: May 19, 2021, 06:54:21 AM
You can create buy and sell orders at the same time as long as you have enough money. Enough means having both BTC to sell and USDT to buy.

1 BTC to sell and enough USDT to buy 1 BTC at buying price for your order. It makes no sense because the volume of BTC is big and you can not become a whale.

If you are trading in low volume altcoins, you can create both buy and sell orders. Big orders to make them as buy and sell walls. You can control price in your wall areas.  Tongue
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning to all the crypto investors and Bitcoin supporters on: May 19, 2021, 06:46:06 AM
His goal is to prove that crypto is irrelevant by destroying Bitcoin and making Doge a bigger capitalization.
Dogecoin is an alternate coin and altcoins are part of crypto market. Bitcoin is a main asset for crypto capital. When the game in Dogecoin and its far-relatives over, capital will move to other altcoins. Ultimately, the capital will move back to Bitcoin.

Elon Musk is one of people, one of whales in the market, why I have to care about his goals?
1969  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doge scammers take advantage of SNL to scam people on YouTube on: May 18, 2021, 08:46:37 AM
Scammers are not smart and they reuse old methods. Only victims of scammers are not smart enough or stupid.

Scammers on Youtube. Don't fall into this scam trap and lose money, guys
Youtube scam channels. Please spend your time to report them and take them down
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BEAM | Mimblewimble | Private | Scalable | No ICO | No Pre Mine on: May 18, 2021, 03:32:36 AM
The hardfork is coming and it will be a force for BEAM to grow up. Before the bull market in 2020 and 2021, BEAM project is one of limited altcoin projects which have active developments technically and in their community activities during the bear market and accumulation time.

This hardfork comes at perfect time when Bitcoin is corrected and capital will be condensed more in altcoins.
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🔥[ANN] [ICO] JACS - Internet 3.0 Decentralized Infrastructure 🔥✅ on: May 17, 2021, 09:54:02 AM
JACS is still alive, we haven't turned into 'stone' as you said Smiley

Below is the latest update from our Telegram group:

JACS VPN Mobile App is working fine without any major issue.
We are still fixing several issues with JACS Pre-Alpha version, the reason why its launch was delayed.
Given the facts that JACS tokens supply is fixed and unsold ICO tokens will be burnt to preserve the token value, we are currently running another private investment round (could be extended publicly if needed but not an ICO) to raise necessary funds for the intense marketing campaigns and token listing over 'big' exchanges.
That is a good news for JACS holders. Anyone who complain can see the Internet Computer project which is developed by Dfinity team. The project run their airdrop years ago but they charge KYC fee on airdrop participants. If you don't pay KYC fee, you are not eligible to join.

2 or 3 years of silence and suddenly they jumped to the 7th position on coinmarketcap. Their token price is very very high in early hours, more than $600.
1972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sweet sweet cry baby tears! Bitcoins long overdue bear market has begun! on: May 17, 2021, 03:48:02 AM
Not sure that I'd say we're in a bear market already, but I'd be fine with it if it were the case. I feel like I'm 5x more productive in bear markets lol.

At the same time, gotta filter out the weak hands one way or another I guess. So much DOGE and shitcoin investors flooding in lately that we need some spring cleaning.
Let's weak hands sell in May and go away. It is not a bear market that will last for years. The bearish time if we have been in, is only time of corrections. Corrections can last a few months but if they are in bull market, I don't call a few months of corrections are bearish time.

Shitcoin like Dogecoin and other newest meme tokens that exploit the avatars and names of dog should be killed. To clean the market, to help newbies understand how the crypto market works. It is for a general healthy market.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet vs Meta Mask wallet on: May 17, 2021, 03:29:00 AM
Coinbase is not good for you if you are not ready to do KYC. Metamask is better for your if you don't want to submit your identity documents. I don't judge because of that, Metamask can protect your privacy. At least you don't have to leak your identity document with Metamask or any third party company that works with Metamask.

The extension can trace your trading history and so on but it is another problem that is different than official KYC requirement.
1974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what are you investment strategy on: May 16, 2021, 10:56:56 AM
i FARM ACROSS Bsc to matic and solana. it is a rotation for me. gains from bsc goes to matic. from matic to solana and from solana back to bsc.
Bitcoin should be your ultimate investments. Altcoins can help your portfolio increases very quickly but they will cause your balance drops fastly too.

If you are obsessed with altcoins, and won't restructure your portfolio back to Bitcoin, your profit will be stolen by corrections of altcoins or worse bear market for altcoins.

If you are new in the market, you will see how it goes in next 1 or 2 years.
1975  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we peaked for this cycle? on: May 15, 2021, 11:04:48 PM
noob here.  BTC has been trading sideways for 3 months now; after the elon tweet, its' struggling to get above 50K.
Is their another run up or have we peaked alreay?
3 months already. I don't see any three months of sideway. If there is a side way and last up to three months it only began since May. I will meet you again in August or September.

3 months will not be exact end time of this sideway, it can be sooner or later than 3 months. Who knows the Bitcoin market will have another big institute to join or another big influential person to join and shill it?

If another Elon Musk appear in next one month, the side way will finish in June.
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla no longer accepts Bitcoin payments on: May 15, 2021, 03:08:05 AM
I am so surprised that the adoption of Tesla has bigger effects on the price than PayPay adoption previously. Is is because Tesla is owned by Elon Musk and he has best impact rather than Tesla itself.

PayPal adoption is more important for Bitcoin than Tesla because the daily volume of transactions via PayPal is huge and their customers are globally. The Bitcoin adoption from PayPal is not perfect and I hope they will have improvements in the future. If improvements are announced, Bitcoin will have big support to climb higher.

Tesla, it is good to have Tesla adoption, without Tesla adoption, not bad at all.
1977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reactions From Musk's Bitcoin criticism on: May 15, 2021, 02:38:35 AM
The response from MicroStrategy is perfect. It at least reminds people that the Bitcoin market can not be manipulate by only Elon Musk. There are many more institutes in the market have bought and will buy Bitcoin.

MicroStrategy is one of them and is the biggest one. You can see how big MicroStrategy investment is by compare it to Tesla investment. BitcoinTreasuries

His tweets mean nothing if people don't over value him and his tweets. Why Tesla is important for Bitcoin? There are and will be more institutional investments. The capital investment from Tesla can be done with another or a few other institutes.

Bitcoin adoption won't be changed much by Tesla and people were cheated by Elon and Tesla. Will Elon come back and say after months of research, he sees is the best and Tesla will accept Bitcoin again. It will be funny.
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Jumps 22% as Elon Musk Hints at Improving Network’s Transaction Efficie on: May 14, 2021, 10:15:14 AM
Elon Musk again! What will Elon Musk do next? I think if you follow him closely, you will make some money anyway.
Elon Musk and his tweets can make you FOMO and can make you panic. Do you think deeply about this tweets after what he does with Bitcoin?

Support, adopt it on Tesla, reverse the adoption. He can do anything he want with his company and his Twitter account. Fortunately, you are the only one can control your decisions. Why Dogecoin but not other coins, not Bitcoin?
1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to debunk the Bitcoin Energy Consumption drama on: May 14, 2021, 09:32:50 AM
There are many types of energy consumption on this planet and you can convince me that all of them are useful consumption.

The drama on Bitcoin energy consumption comes from Bitcoin protesters who see Bitcoin network is useless. Let them be free but I believe a few of them will change to be Bitcoin supporters.

Cambridge Bitcoin Electricity Consumption Index
Electricity supply in 2021. The Electricity supply chart shows the renewable resources are increasing with Solar, Wind, Bioenergy, Hydro and they will be used more by society. Bitcoin mining farms will use them more.

If you compares that chart with cbeci's chart, the drama on Bitcoin energy consumption is non sense.
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: May 13, 2021, 11:26:53 AM
They were send to vitalik's address to "burn" but it was also a genius marketing move. I don't think that vitalik will do anything with them. I mean imagine him dumping them and donating everything to charity. That would eat the liquidity and price to zero.
@tippytoes gave the article that Vitalik already donated it to charity. How his donated tokens are used by charity foundation is unknown but I agree that marketing from SHIBA team is successful. It brings a meme trend to crypto market.

It has been sent already to charity. So we don't know if there is still future for this token. And by the way to tbct_mt2 - Vitalik is not involved in the creation and development of Shiba Inu. It just happens that the dev of this token sent Vitalik large amount of tokens to his address. And Vitalik decided to sent it to charity instead.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/ninabambysheva/2021/05/12/ethereums-co-founder-vitalik-buterin-donates-over-1-billion-to-india-covid-relief-fund-and-other-charities/?sh=3012a9706548
Vitalik does the right thing. The Shiba Inu team tried to connect their shit token with Vitalik. They tried to have connection with Vitalik to attract investors to $SHIB token. They get success with this strategy but this shit token will need a few years in the market to become the powerful meme token.

I doubt $SHIB will go far like Dogecoin.
