Heya!

I have created a thread regarding some of the Axie Infinity Scalability issues? Would you guys mind sharing your opinions regarding this matter? It seems that only few of the bitcointalk member know about Axie Infinity.

1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Axie Infinity: Game/ Token Opinion on: June 27, 2021, 06:51:24 AM
I've been playing this game for about a week now and I'm still having a great time with it. The game mechanics and economy are both intriguing enough to keep players engaged for a long time while earning money during the pandemic. However, one of the most common challenges that many people experience is the congestion on servers.  It is the cause of the game's inability to run efficiently, making it impossible for players to meet their daily SLP quota.

But how will this game adapt if there is a huge inflow of players, putting the server in jeopardy and potentially causing a server failure? Though I am aware that blockchain gaming is still in its infancy, and that it is a multidisciplinary area that encompasses encryption, decentralization, and other factors that make server scalability difficult plus it is unmistakably distinct from other non-blockchain games.

Why can't they choose to temporarily suspend account creation to maintain traffic control while they work on improving their server and upgrading scalability issues?

Your opinions are very much appreciated.

1964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will never be gone on: June 26, 2021, 05:48:39 AM
Speculating the events in the future is always vague. Sure that the decentralization is something that we never expected after the growth of the internet, however it does not guarantee that it will never be gone. There are still a lot of factors that we need to consider to say that it will survive.

It could be in terms of mass adoption. As long as the majority of people believe that bitcoin has a real use case and value, I don't think that bitcoin will die instantly. It could also be the continuous technical development to scale bitcoin on an efficient way etc..

The real question here is, what is something that would harm bitcoin in the process and how will it be able to cope with those uncertainties?
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk made tweet about animal coin again. Time to buy doge and Shiba Inu? on: June 26, 2021, 05:12:16 AM
Sometime I think that if we were going to take advantage of this short term gains, people can make money out of elon's crypto trolling in twitter. As long as you have your proper bankroll management and you know that the particular coin will be rugged in the process.

You can somehow make money.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Licenses - What they actually mean on: June 26, 2021, 04:34:37 AM
I thought people are all aware that these gambling casinos do not care about protecting their players. I mean isn't it a fact? As far as I know, there is only a slight difference between unregulated and regulated casinos.

Seeing most of the regulated casinos' terms of service usually can force close or ban your account for whatever reason while the license does not provide any protection for their casinos' clients at all.

The only thing that most of the casinos have these licenses is that perhaps they are planning to expand their business to other countries such as the UK as well as to have access to popular game providers. You are playing with gambling sites not because of the certainty for security that a gambling license can offer but for avoiding legal matters when the casino has expanded in the process.

It is our responsibility to check their ToS, support chat, and learn how to verify the "provably fair" algorithm to reduce the amount of risk we're going to take and not the license itself.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question on sending BNB to Metamask Bsc Chain on: June 25, 2021, 07:32:12 AM
I am not really sure how this would help but I do found a video tutorial on how you can buy elonspace using trustwallet and pancakeswap. Just like any other decentralised exchange, you need to have ETH and BNB in order to successfully swap BNB to elonspace. You just need to import the correct contract address in the ETH wallet your are using (Metamask or Trustwallet)

Thread with those types of replies are usually topics that need subjective or opinionated answers which have been answered hundreds of times already in the past. You can find most of them where there is no technical or hard-to-grasp concept involved in a thread.

That is why it is also important to have your "ignore list" ready when you encounter members who do not carefully maintain the quality of his/her post or perhaps avoid thread with hundreds of replies considering that if you think it's a common question that can be answered simply by searching thru the web.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity Thread [self moderated for spammers] on: June 25, 2021, 05:22:00 AM
Have you followed the +1 trick in email to have your axie scholarship program? I really doubt that this method could turn against Axie Infinity terms of service for using only email for all scholars?

If not, what do you suggest to easily create multiple gmail account without having to undergo mobile phone verification?
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity Thread [self moderated for spammers] on: June 24, 2021, 08:22:01 AM
And I'm kinda get confused what team of Axies to choose that are both good for both PVE and PVP.
I'm doing my research in the internet, and I'd like to hear some good suggestions in this community as well.
Have you watched some of the videos of Axie on the Moon? See it for yourself and you'll gonna see some pattern which cards has the most synergy when to comes to batting. He also released a new video regarding the current meta team composition which is the AAP(Aqua,Aqua,Plant). I am still not eligible to offer you some kind of assistance when it comes to cards but I think @cryptoaddictchie will help you build youur first team.

Just a suggestion though, if you want to have your breeding as soon as possible, I highly suggest that you need to create a team that are virgin and pure avoid hindrances in the process.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: June 24, 2021, 07:44:47 AM
As long as you have enough funds for your daily means without liquidating your bitcoin is still great even if you don't have the capacity to buy at a premium price. Just buy or DCA whenever you have the money regardless of the price.

We'll never know what will be the market sentiments in the few days or months, perhaps the dip we're seeing now still has a room left to go for another dip, or maybe it'll recover in a month or so. It's just the timing whenever you have the money coming maybe from your freelance works, job etc..
1972  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i want to buy Bitcoin with real money, plz i need help on: June 24, 2021, 07:19:44 AM
I think you can still narrow down which bitcoin exchange suits your situation. It could be the the location where you live or do you prefer having no KYC/ ID verification.

If so, you can try these exchange.

1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recognizing Gambling Disorders, Symptoms of Severe Gambling Addiction on: June 24, 2021, 06:54:13 AM
whats the problem with that ? gambling addiction is a mental disorder . we shouldnt be shy if we have illness
There is. At some point, people who gamble the money given by others can somewhat be humiliating. And I am certain that this person will feel awful to himself due to the fact that it's now his hard earned money he gamble to make some fun.

This is why people with gambling disorder tends to lie to their relatives and others to hide their compulsive behavior.

Congrats!

What I have just learned upon getting into my desired rank is that somehow there is a possibility that keeping your knowledge and honing your skills is a lot difficult to make your rank more worthwhile.

It has always been so difficult to maintain the consistency of your quality for me post than achieving a certain rank. But anyhow, kudos to your new rank.
1975  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ⭐ on: June 23, 2021, 09:39:01 AM
I think that every business should come to a point where they have to have a mascot to represent their business. A merch is a good one to support the business. Also you mentioned t-shirts, you are a really good graphics artist with a lot of contests done, you will definitely dominate the competition if BTCGOSU for t-shirt design.
They have their own mascot posted in their website. I am just not sure if the mascot can be easily seen when you are using mobile phone.

Yeah I think a merchandise can also be helpful in terms of having a financial support, it can be considered as another backbone for security due to the fact that the product does not expire and can be sold anytime or anywhere. However, I think it would be better to ask the community for pre-orders first before implementing such move to avoid loss of funds.

This way we can see if there is a demand for it while reducing the risk.

P.S. Thanks for the compliment Cheesy
1976  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ⭐ on: June 23, 2021, 05:19:43 AM
Also this could be an option in the future in case there are alot more user that know your site, add the merch section to sell some merch with BTCGOSU's logo in it  Tongue
I would love to see BTCGOSU's Mascot either in lenticular print or by having a small stuff toy that we can display on our working setup. I am sure BTCGOSU's T-shirt would also be something worth trying to sell as a merch.  Shocked

Here is an example of lenticular print.

1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity Thread [self moderated for spammers] on: June 23, 2021, 04:44:43 AM
so i need at least 1000 to play?
If you are aiming to build a decent team intended for PVP and PVE, I think $1000 is just enough to buy you 1 team. However, there are also multitude of options to get your first team for a cheaper price but the downside is that there are compromises that needs to be address.

It could be something non-virgin, low axie purity or hybrid which is not recommended for breeding purposes unless you know what you are doing and you're just trying some new things out. I suggest that you need to find a friend where he/she can help you choose what's best for your buck.

hmm quite a lot too but is this promising? will i get my money back in 2 months?
SLP price fluctuates rapidly just like any other cryptocurrency; this is why the return of investment is quite arbitrary. Perhaps it could reach a certain price in which you can have your ROI within just a month or maybe it could reach an ATL in which you need few more months to have your investment return.

How do you guys secure your axie infinity account other than having bookmarking and using password manager? I think this is quite overlooked within the website and people are just focusing on the gamepley but not on the security of their assets.

I just hope that they consider adding 2FA immediately.

1978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: June 22, 2021, 06:55:23 AM
Huge volatility happens due to a multitude of reasons.

- At some point, bitcoin is still in its infancy stage where ountries finds it difficult to regulate due to its decentralized nature.
- It is being traded 24/7 at a global scale. This means that there are different factors such as big international exchange, big boys taking their advantage of the cycle, and trades based on market sentiment driven by FOMO and FUD.
- And any other reason that I have not included which could possibly affect the market be it political and technological aspects.

1980  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Beginners list for wallets and methods of earning free crypto on: June 22, 2021, 06:01:14 AM
Appreciated all the efforts and hard work for compiling the links of money-making opportunities in crypto. However, the links presented in excel are somehow obsolete for beginners to try out. The tendency is, they might become overwhelmed with all the links and information due to a lack of understanding of the nature of cryptocurrency in general.

I have seen that cloud mining and faucets are included in your list. Unfortunately, these methods to earn some bucks are quite outdated. Back in the days, faucets will give you a good amount of satoshi when bitcoin is still unknown for most people making faucets to be a good foundation as an introductory for crypto while making a decent amount of money. But now, I don't think that risking your time and effort in collecting bitcoin dust is worthy unless your reason for trying faucets are for educational purposes and not in money-making.

As for cloud mining, I don't think this is a good recommendation for a beginner. Nowadays, lots of cloud mining services turn out to be fraud and I don't think I have seen one type of such service that become successful in the long run. It can also damage your computer hardware parts which aren't worthy. Real mining activity is having the correct GPU/CPU setup and a lot of capital intended for maintenance and place.
