1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slendermans coin Scrypt POW/PON(PROOF-OF-NOTHING) on: August 14, 2015, 04:44:10 PM
Obviously the largest cost is going to be postage. Sending out 10,000 paper wallets will cost $5000 if we do not get a bulk rate.
the dev is "going postal"! :p

snail mail coin  Cheesy
This needs an award of some sort.

We have been building a mailing list. A mailing list of people that are not involved in bitcoin at all.

I do not think you understand the power this coin will hold when thousands of new people suddenly download and run our wallet.

Besides Why  peoples interested could are?

So finally, It will be the "proof of nothing", Somebody receive a  mail, Download wallet, Run it and Voilà!!  A big amount will be accredited to wallet.

Algo?  Supply?  When PON start?

Eyes?

Scrypt PoW is in the title.

Supply is in the block reward.
Quote
Block = 2 SMX = 500000
Block < 5000 SMX = 2500
Block < 10000 SMX = 1250
else  SMX = 250
(Infinite)

PoN, it's "Nothing" so it won't start.

Thank you!   I was thinking that  PoN   holders will receive "coins" for proof nothing. I mean each adress could are receiving coins only for be created, But it certainly dont will work because everybody can  create many adresses himself.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NYC] New York Coin - "TronREX TAKEOVER & OVERHAUL" on: August 13, 2015, 03:44:35 PM
Another thing: BitLicense and NYC!?  Huh

http://cointelegraph.com/news/115114/localbitcoins-stops-service-for-new-york-residents

Is there any way that we could get NYC out of this BitLicense mess!?

 Article from:              http://cointelegraph.com/news/114472/the-bitcoin-community-reacts-to-the-ny-bitlicense

Perianne Boring, president, Chamber of Digital Commerce:

“New York’s final BitLicense regulations are not perfect. The most worrisome aspect is the lack of a clear on-ramp for digital currency startups and small businesses, especially in the likelihood that other states will use New York’s BitLicense as a guideline in creating their own regulations.

“With multiple states looking to regulate digital currencies, the industry is facing an increasingly complex and burdensome regulatory environment. It is imperative that the industry’s voice is heard in discussions among policymakers to ensure what ultimately becomes law does not impede innovation.

“Without proper engagement, we risk a patchwork of inconsistencies and friction between local, state, federal and international laws.”
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: August 13, 2015, 03:09:07 PM
@thebountiful    Thanks for give us you point of view about Clayton but I feel that rest of anothers devs  are doing very good work on HZ, Some peoples seem to be disappointed due to  low prices but it is normal because of the long period of distribution, About a slack and a Foundation could be good idea too, Many coins are doing same thing. One more thing, Nxt for example is on low prices just now, So anything more could are affecting the landscape of this type of platforms like HZ and NXT.

1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: TOPCOIN (v3) - ANDROID WALLET AVAILABLE on: August 13, 2015, 03:16:36 AM

There has been what looks like an exit by some medium holders but I don't think this is fatal to HZ, there is a lot of value ot the technology. It's just getting started.
No large holders or team members have left HZ. We just put out a release a couple weeks ago, and 5.0 is on the way, currently on test net.

Good news, Besides price HZ  will increase as soon as phase of distribution is finished. Maybe you could release 5.0 until it happens.

1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Dogecoin. on: August 10, 2015, 03:07:24 AM
Was dogecoin not created for fun purposes only? I see no innovation in the coin, so I don't think it's value is ever going to skyrocket.

BBQCoin was first coin created for fun, and it keep being traded.
