1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Apple Vision Pro and its Implication in Online Gambling on: June 10, 2023, 01:13:40 PM

I wonder what this means for the gambling industry, the gambling experience, and gambling addiction. I would like us to discuss this topic. Gambling with this device would make it feel like you are in a casino. I am pretty sure the experience would be out of this world - the visuals, the sounds, the overall feel. On the other hand, it seems that it could be easy for a gambler to lose track of time while using the device because the immersive experience might make it difficult to see or be aware of the time, leading to a potential increase in gambling addiction. The odds against the player won't change, only the experience. Please share your thoughts on this matter.

1. https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2023/06/introducing-apple-vision-pro/
Its a new world and a new experience yes at the start you could lose track of time and the immersion is enhanced because when we are trying out new concepts and new technology there's likely that we are going to spend more time and but still goes down to your level of control in your gambling habit.

But for gamblers who are looking for thrills and risk-takers, this is going to be bad for them, I'm sure casinos will recommend people to try this new technology to make them stay more on their platform and spend more, the more gamblers spend money and spend time the casino will make a profit.

This exchange is not familiar to me but based on my computation

$0.72.12 x 10000 = $7,212, it's a huge amount it's not acceptable but if they have this in their terms we can't do something about it my only question is how did you lose that 10000 tezos after the exchange or after the refund
if after the exchange are they really taking that huge percentage, please clarify your post
1963  Economy / Gambling / Re: Profit By Betting on Losing Teams on: June 10, 2023, 09:57:22 AM
I am the only one who believes this is likely some sort of advertisement campaign to some "services" which offers something which is unlikely to happen?  Roll Eyes
Honestly, sometimes it messes with my mind that there is people out there who can actually fall for stuff similar to these and other I have read in the past.

We have the same thinking it's actually a promotion of their casino, unfortunately, I cannot access the whole article because my location is restricted, I've read a lot of these as advertisements from casino platforms or systems.

This is too good to be true and, when it comes to casinos, whether it's luck-based or sports betting a guide about profit is hard to believe OP did not even post a disclaimer that this is not guaranteed betting advice.

People should be responsible when it comes to posting about profit in gambling, this is gambling where your chances cannot guranteed.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 10, 2023, 04:49:42 AM

In any case, KYC shouldn't be questioned, it's a very reliable form of verification to ensure that law enforcements can get a hold of you when shit hits the fan, and it's also a form of customer protection as a company that requires KYC is obliged to work in close relations with their respective government, if things don't go well for you, you can sue them in court and have them pay you for reparations.

That should be the case but in some cases, casinos are declining the KYC because they cannot establish the identity how can it be possible if you are the one playing and you submit all your documents then you are declined?
It's hard to accept for a player if he can't get his account verified even though all the documents needed are already submitted.

I already did KYC on government institutions and some sites and they accept it because it's really me and all the documents they requested are all submitted then how come casinos cannot?

1965  Other / Meta / Re: Finally! Satoshi Nak-AI-moto told me why he handed over the forum to Theymos on: June 09, 2023, 10:16:37 PM
Every input the AI will give concerning Satoshi is not factual because so many things about Satoshi are not factual, AI can only give us facts when the facts are fully established, there's a possibility that other AI will not give the same input because the source where it extracts the answer may have different input, we can use it on other subjects where facts are fully established but I doubt when it comes to Satoshi Nakamoto.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 09, 2023, 09:13:37 PM
Only for a month and since then I never did it again and will not likely do it again, there's no purpose in doing this it will just frustrate you and will make you feel guilty.

I will just think that something you've spent on entertainment should not be counted the experience is worth the time and money unless you are gambling to make a profit.

But it's not good to calculate any of your expenses because you have to spend for everything you do that will benefit you so it's basically useless.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 09, 2023, 08:37:42 PM
We are all guilty of this and the poll shows that it is, we are guilty because gambling has become our habit and old habits will not just die down, we easily forget because we love the excitement we are challenged to make a profit.

I'm guilty of this in the past when I still have a huge number of BFG I want to wager more and stake more so I can have a huge number of BFG to stake and every time I lose a big portion and promise not to play for a week I easily forget and the excitement gets the best of me, of all the promise I made, I can easily break this one.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bookielink (www.bookielink.com) on: June 09, 2023, 01:44:22 PM
It's good that you are addressing all concerns and recommendations I saw that you create this thread on April 13, 2023, but why are you not doing things that you should be doing, it getting a copper account and designing your thread, we have recommended this to all admin and representative of casinos here and those serious in their presence here have done this, so it's your call to the same.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 09, 2023, 12:44:54 PM

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.

I guess when you are penniless, you keep coming because you can still sustain it, don't continue chasing that its ok to hold on to that dream but continuously doing that you will suffer financially, get profit from time to time and enjoy the profit, you are actually chasing losses and it's a trap that will take a toil in you mentally and financially.
1970  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bkex Locked Users off Their Money For 9 days and Counting.. on: June 09, 2023, 10:43:32 AM
Why wouldn't they just lock withdrawals of accounts they suspect involved in the money laundering? Seems a bit overkill to lock everyone's account if they don't suspect everyone of doing the crime or lack proof. Hopefully they get it resolved and regular users can get their funds.

That should be the right to do, locking all withdrawals triggers warnings on all accounts and it becomes big news, and there are growing suspicions that there's a rug pull coming.

Bkex has millions of users and you can't expect these users not to complain and just wait patiently, this is a growing concern the number of days is adding up and these users will demand updates.

1971  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Minepi real or fake? on: June 09, 2023, 09:24:45 AM
My friend invited me to use https://minepi.com a couple of days ago.
And I checked it out a bit, but really did not understand the thing.

He told me he this:
"Pi is now valued at around 24$/Pi, and will be trade able on Binance soon ! So even if you only mine 1 a day on your mobile that's over 700$/month for no work. Get mining, and get your family on it !"

It's a fake Pi the developers of MinePi clearly stated that they have nothing to do with the IOU PI that is listed on an exchange and both Coingecko and Coinmarketcpo stated that this is an IOU coin and so they issued a big warning on that of the token
Quote
Please note that the mainnet has not yet been launched, and the prices shown on certain exchanges are for IOUs that may not be transferable across exchanges. Please DYOR and proceed with caution.

Quote
It really looks legit and everything but it sounds very good to make that amount for such a less effort. Many people in the world does not even make this money for a months work!

No, it's not legit people should not believe right away what their friends are saying you have to differentiate a shill to a fact or you will end up losing money, always do your own research and always get the fact.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 08, 2023, 03:45:41 AM

I'm just thinking though, yeah Lopez could be durable, but we have seen his getting knockdown surprisingly by George Kambosos. And we all know that Josh Taylor, might not be a knockout artist based on his records, perhaps it might be possible that he could dominate the fight and then just soften up Lopez full a full 11 rounds and then in the last round, as Lopez is tired and beaten, maybe Josh Taylor can slip out that perfect knockout punch.

Anyhow, that will be a great ending for this fight, Teo getting knockout for the first time in his career and then keeps opening his mouth after the fight and not admit to that. Just like when he lost to Kambosos who his father thinks that they still win the fight despite their initial knockout and George schooling Teo.
Lopez needs this fight it's a confirmation fight for Lopez that what happened against Kambosos is a big flop on their side and they have corrected this with this fight.

If Lopez losses here it's going to be a big embarrassment, he is a candidate to be a big name in boxing and many consider him to be the next big name before the Kambosos fight, he has to prove something here a tall order but this is the fight will make or break him.

I just don't like that he retains his father by his side there are many clamors to let go of him and get a better trainer that can guide him inside and outside the ring.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 07, 2023, 09:04:22 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

I experienced this many times in the past I still experience but I tried to minimize getting affected by my gambling experience, gambling is for entertainment and should be fun, but we are all just humans we get excited, we sometimes chase our losses, and sometimes our expectations failed us, so we feel remorseful.

This is normal but the most important thing is you manage to weed out your remorse and you must not let it linger in your mind because it's harmful and causes depression in the long run.

1974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Maverickgames takes money away. on: June 07, 2023, 11:47:38 AM
I signed up at this casino and made a $300 deposit. I was given a $300 bonus. After a successful game, I had more than 4,000 dollars in my account. I have fulfilled the conditions for wagering the bonus. To verify my identity, I sent 2 documents confirming my identity and a selfie with a document, as well as 2 documents confirming my address.The casino then requested a video call. On the video call, I showed my face and documents. After that, the casino checked my documents for 20 days and then I received this message: "Hey Aleksei,

We have not been able to verify your account.

Can you please enact a withdrawal request for your original deposit of 300 USDT,

After this has been approved by us your account will then be closed. "

I don't understand why they want to close my account and return only the deposit. I provided the casino with all the documents they asked for. And I am ready to provide any help to confirm my identity.

You have a valid accusation just follow the right format

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

And invite them to come here, and address this issue, because their reason is unclear, you have complied with what they asked you,  so they have to give a reason why they cannot verify your account, they can ask for more documents but they opted to just ignore it and close your account, exactly the same reason what 1xbit is giving to their users, no explanation they will just close your account.
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 07, 2023, 08:31:07 AM
Is this a joke lol?  How would you bet on sex.  How long it takes 😅.

Seriously.  With an open mind how would this ever be considered a sport.  I'm open to dialog but I don't get it, and then second what are some of the things that you could bet on?  I'm not getting it lol.

I just posted maybe a sex marathon or who can mate as many partners many of us have no idea but I'm sure sex marathon is one of them because there's an existing record on the longest sex marathon set by this guy OAU Graduate Sets World Record for Longest SEX Ever {15hrs 7mins 23secs }
So if there will be sex sports many sex sports officials will dare anyone to break that record.

1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 06, 2023, 09:24:47 PM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.

There's nothing on any casino's terms that bans you from playing if your country bans the use of Bitcoin as long as the casino allows you to play I will play when playing in the casino you are subject to their terms if my country allows casino then, I'll continue playing with my Bitcoin but to be safe because casino might see the restriction and they will question your account using fiat is a good option if they allow it, while safekeeping your coins in your noncustodial wallet.
1977  Economy / Gambling / Re: lucky block casino locked my account for no reason demanding kyc funds lost on: June 06, 2023, 01:51:01 PM
I've had my LB account for almost a year and used this casino many times without issue.

Today I deposited some funds, played a few games and began to lose so I tried to make a withdrawal.

 I guess they didn't like that for some reason and flagged the withdrawal.

Have you met their wagering requirement you posted you played a few games then withdraw they think your action constitute money laundering so they asked for KYC

Quote
They gave me mixed reasons as to why from random checks to accessing the site from a restricted area which isn't true because if the IP is blocked the site will not even load.
Then agree to do a KYC so you can prove that you are not located in a restricted location

Quote
Anyways, they are demanding kyc and I refuse so they will close my account
At the time you sign up is there on the terms that they can and will as for KYC anytime, if there is then you have to because you sign up for this.

Quote
Never had this issue at any casino. Even ones I've logged onto from restricted areas, including LB.

They refuse to complete my withdrawal so all funds are lost.
Because you are caught this time if you are violating one of their terms it's only a matter of time before they catch you

Quote
I think they're just mad that I tried to withdraw to another casino so quickly and have stolen my funds.

Just a heads up, lucky block is not safe.

You're just speculating, you are free to open a scam accusation but your refusal to do KYC will backfire.
1978  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Receiving unwanted message fair warning to newbies. on: June 06, 2023, 09:31:57 AM

Apart from ignoring the message, you can limit other users who can send messages to you. You can use the "Personal Message Options" feature to limit other forum members who can contact you.

I also received that message I just ignored it this is my first time receiving an offer like this so I just disallow newbies from sending me messages if you look at the account he has zero activity, and zero posts, and the account was created to spam us, I hope nobody takes the offer, he should just create an announcement so we can have a discussion on what's he's offering.
If the offer is good and he can discuss it people will avail of it if they are interested in it seems he has a hidden agenda which is why he cannot create a thread for this.
1979  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: June 06, 2023, 08:10:12 AM
The best influencer for me are those reviewers because they can tell the whole story and they are knowledgeable about casinos and games, compared to Instagram and Tiktok which only posted clips, short videos, and images these influencers are not what you called experts in the field of the gambling industry, they are making money promoting platforms that pay them to post, I am not a follower of any of these gambling Tiktokers they are for entertainment purposes only not serious reviewers.
1980  Economy / Gambling / Re: THNDR Play Games to Earn Bitcoin on: June 05, 2023, 11:56:37 PM
There are so many of these on Playstore but I trust your list is worth trying and recommending, its recommended for people who are starting out accumulating Bitcoin and is good for newbies to recommend I used to be very active here when I have a lot of free time, its addictive and the prize is a big motivation.

My only concern is these kinds of free games are full of annoying ads and sometimes slowdown your phone so its better to check your phone's specs before downloading to see if it's compatible.
