1981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 04, 2022, 04:00:26 PM
Gambling habits doesn't really pass from the gene of parents to children, most children are easily influenced by the hobbies of their parents. Normally most male just have interest in gambling because of the money it brings .

The question is whether parents want  their child is involved in gambling or do excessive gambling? I think that gambling is such a game that even though parents play it themselves, they do not want their children to inherit this habit. However, if you play openly then children will watch you gamble and they will develop an interest in this. If you want that your children do not inherit this gambling habit, you should not gamble in front of your children.

Kyrgios is currently a set down against Nakashima and he does look annoyed with it. I will put a small bet (1/4 of my regular stake) on him losing this 3-0.

This match is really getting very interesting at both  Nakashima and Kyrgios have won two sets each and now it's all down to the last set. It seems that Kyrgios will win this last set as Kyrgios leads the last set by 4-1.
Even if he lost the match, you would lose the bet because you bet on 3-0 which is not going to happen. Right?
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: July 04, 2022, 03:06:24 PM
I mean come on, it’s pretty obvious that it’s this Japanese man’s fault for not double checking as to why he was sent the extra money. That’s a whole lot of money being sent to someone by mistake. Not to mention it’s abundantly clear that this guy has major gambling issues. What a fool ! Lol

Right, that it was not his fault that someone sent him this much amount in his bank account but how can he use all these funds in gambling without investing where this money comes from. I am sure he has common sense and he did not believe that the bank sent him a bonus or extra money  Cheesy
Not he will have to face the consequences of using funds that did not belong to him.
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 04, 2022, 10:25:30 AM
After this experience I believe gambling is for the big bag holders, if you're in urge of making a win. Very much disappointed, because it is the last few dollars I had as a cryptocurrency holding. If I had more funds I wouldn't have encountered this big loss. Martingale once again a failed strategy when you don't have big bag of money.

How do you know that if you have invested more in gambling you will have won ? Gambling is all about luck and the winning in gambling is only because of the luck. There are people who invest a little amount in gambling and and end up winning a jackpot while there are other players who uses thier life savings and end up losing everything.
1985  Other / Meta / Re: Enforce “grammarly ” like score minimum to post.. on: July 03, 2022, 10:04:24 AM
Doesn't unhandled means that mods have not seen it yet and it will be handled shortly. But yeah i have these 5 unhandled for a long time now  Huh
It does at the moment when you make the report. As soon as you report a post to the mods, it's status is unhandled. But if the post remains as unhandled for days, weeks, and several months, the admins have seen it but don't agree with your report to delete the post. Consider your long standing unhandled reports as being partially bad. If they were good, the mods would have acted on them.

So if the mods have seen the report and don't agree with me, why not make them classified as bad reports (I have 2 bad reports as well).

The above explanation will now make a confusion between a bad report and a unhandled report  Huh
1986  Other / Meta / Re: Enforce “grammarly ” like score minimum to post.. on: July 03, 2022, 09:10:43 AM
Some kind of spell check like tool with a score..
If your writing doesn’t score a 70% or whatever, it won’t let you post..

It is a good suggestion but the problem is that you can't enforce this on this forum because this is not an academic forum. There are people who just come to post their services or projects and we can't just ask them to first pass an English test. They already have to buy a copper membership to eliminate the limitation of newbies and now we cannot just put another hurdle in their way.

Try reporting it and you'll get a solid "Unhandled". Basically the forum has surrendered to this shit.

Doesn't unhandled means that mods have not seen it yet and it will be handled shortly. But yeah i have these 5 unhandled for a long time now  Huh

1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: July 03, 2022, 05:27:24 AM
If I talk about the Asia tournament, they have a lot of strength. The teams are Malaysia, Japan,And all the teams in South Korea can go to the finals. Because if you think in Asia, you have to think about these teams. However, there are some teams that you think about Can't but will surprise you. Normal teams can play well at one time. However, among all these teams, Saudi Arabia has proved to be one of the best footballers and they can win the final in the 2023 Asia Cup.
Almost all national teams in Asia are now experiencing many rapid developments in the world of football. I will also not forget how Thailand, Vietnam, Korea Republic, Qatar, Indonesia, and also Japan have significant growth next season. So it will be very interesting right?

We will be having the 18th edition of the AFC Asian cup in 2023 which means that its been quite a long time since we are having this tournament but Asia have failed to produce big teams. Japan is the exception of course but the rest of the teams need a lot of improvement in their skills. They have won the title four times and they stand out among all the teams.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 03, 2022, 04:38:33 AM
Again the match was closed due to rain. Playing the ball in 7.4 overs, Bangladesh lost 4 wickets for 60 runs. This run can never be matched in a T20 match for Bangladesh. Will Bangladesh be able to win the position of Bangladesh in today's match?I don't think Bangladesh will be able to win against the West Indies.
As the days go by, Bangladesh team is getting weaker.  I did not think that Bangladesh would play so badly.  But beyond my comprehension, the Bangladesh team is declining day by day.  I can't believe what it did in Bangladesh. I thought Bangladesh would play well but they played very badly.

Bangladesh has been showing poor performance for the last many months and this is nothing new. Even the West Indies team is not in a good form however they may look like a better team when they play against the more weaker Bangladesh team.
Also the matches are being played at West Indies which gives them an added advantage. I won't be surprised if they will all the matches (provided the matches are not affected by rain).
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 02, 2022, 07:07:05 PM
West Indies have won the toss and choose to field.

West Indies decided to bat after winning the toss.

What's going on here, Is West Indies batting first or fielding first?

Edit: Just check from Cricinfo, West Indies is to bowl first.
Quote
Toss: West Indies won the toss and chose to field

Do you think the reduction in overs will favor West Indies as they will be batting last and have some big hitters ?
1990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: July 02, 2022, 11:17:26 AM
Question, I would assume having a financial manager review could be a positive sign no? As a financial manager oversees the finances of the company. This could mean they’re going over potential ways to pay out? Thoughts on this? I guess it could go both ways and they could conclude that they can’t afford to pay it out so let’s not pay it out. I guess I won’t jump to any conclusions for now and I’ll await this update. Just trying to stay positive
both are a possibility but if they decided to not payout this would only ruin their reputation(at least here in the forum) especially when they already admitted that the winnings were legitimate and no foul play happened. as for the other update you posted, I guess you'll have to wait until Monday.

Still, anything can happen. I hope they do not come out with any new excuse or finding and lead to non-payment of the amount. Delaying the payment means that they are not interested in paying the amount and want to find ways where they can accuse OP of some fraud.
Let's see how they go about it but if they pay out the winning amount to the OP, they will earn a good reputation.
1991  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid to write articles on: July 02, 2022, 09:01:29 AM
Hi, I am an owner of a brand new (not yet public) blog site.

I am hiring bloggers, that will be paid on monthly basis (revenue share based).

I have one query from you. Since your blog is brand new, there may be no traffic on this blog and perhaps google AdSense (or any other ad network) is not yet active to get any revenue. In this case, how will you pay your clients as you told payment will depend upon the Google Analytic engagement?
Also if you don't mind can you share the name of your blog /site / domain?
1992  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW] 🚀 Rocketpot.io | 2,500+ Games 🎰 | 10% Cashback 💰 on: July 02, 2022, 08:48:29 AM
Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win
<snip>

Unfortunately, Rocketpot's representative is no longer active here, so the only real option is to contact Rocketpot directly. You can email them directly at support@rocketpot.io or contact their support on their live chat. If that doesn't work either, I suggest you create a report in the Scam Accusations section.

EDIT:
I noticed now that you have another thread regarding your issue with the Rocketpot casino. I hope you're now getting the answers you're looking for and proper resolution. Good luck!

This case has not been resolved yet as I see in that other thread. The latest update is that he is trying to contact the support but they are making excuses that they don't support on weekends and the case will be reviewed by some financial manager.
Don't know how dedicated is Rocketpot in resolving this issue or if they are using delaying tactics.  Till the time we hear any comments from the official representatives, we should avoid playing and depositing at Rocketpot.io
1993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: July 02, 2022, 05:46:10 AM
After all i share some vpn friendly casino as far i know they user friendly. Fortune Jack,Stake.com,BetNow,BetOnline.ag etc.

I contacted Stake.com customer support and they don't support vpn anymore.

Here's a site https://fastestvpn.com/blog/top-casinos-allowing-vpn-gambling/ that shows some casino that allows vpn on their platform. It's already outdated and Stake.com is also on the list so it's much better to contact first the customer support of the website before using vpn to make sure you won't encounter any issues. There may be similar answers here that is on the list of that article but they are not allowing vpn anymore on their platform.

I just wonder why would anyone want to use VPN while accessing a gambling site?  There should be no reason to use VPN unless you want to illegally access the gambling site without being caught by your government (if they have prohibited or banned gambling).

I suggest not to play gambling using a VPN unless there is a solid reason for doing so.
1994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: June 30, 2022, 06:42:29 PM
Quote
If the price of Bitcoin in 2022 can reach $ 100k, I am optimistic that the price of 2025 can reach at least $ 300k, but if the price of bitcoin until the end of the year is below $ 50k it will certainly be difficult to pass ATH that has occurred and the possibility of prices in 2025 around $ 150k .

I think, it will be difficult for bitcoin price to reach $100,000 this year 2022, because the price is still decreasing more in the market that is causing many investors to panic about the low price in the market. I believe bitcoin price can only increase to $50,000 in 2022 but it will increase higher in 2025 for people to experience $80,000. There will be a lot of profits to earn in 2025 because the price will pump like never before in the community for both short term investors and long term investors to achieve something good from their investment.

Look at the current market state, I stopped expecting any growth this year I think we have entered a long winter cycle like 2018 and it will be hard to see bitcoin bounce back. If there is only a slight pullback, the bear market is still the main trend. If bitcoin's 4-year cycle is happening then we have 3 years to start accumulating bitcoin and 2025 will be the next year for bitcoin to hit a new ATH and my prediction is $100k. Start accumulating bitcoins now for great rewards when bitcoin will rise again and reach new ATH.

It's really hard to predict what's going to happen in next few years. We all think that bitcoin bull year was 2021 but if you analysis, the bull run run already started in April of 2020 when bitcoin start to move up from 4000$ and it keep on going up every month. The start of bull run was in 2020 before the halving and it peaked in 2021. Every time it's little bit different and its hard to know what will be the price of bitcoin in few years time.
1995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: June 30, 2022, 03:08:21 PM
Okay so let's talk about Inflation vs Bitcoin.

Imagine you buying Bitcoin at the start of 2022 because you want to beat Inflation.
Now Bitcoin is almost 60% down and just would like to know, have you beat the inflation, or have you lost your money?

Do not bet on any asset without understanding the economic market.
It's not good out there yet, fiat is your best friend atm.

That's the reason that people so not understand this whole inflation concept and are happy to remain in USDT ( which is in fact USD).
The moment institutes and people will realize how effective is bitcoin against inflation, the bitcoin price will skyrocket. We have already seen 69,000$ when more than 50% of the world population does not even know how bitcoin works. Imagine 70 to 80% of the world's people are willing to invest in bitcoin, where will you see the bitcoin price?
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: June 30, 2022, 02:21:35 PM

Bitcoin has no inflation and no government can make you slaves by printing excessive notes and manipulating the paper currency to benefit the elite and those in power.
If you want real freedom, just keep buying bitcoins.
1997  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Transfer from BRD on: June 30, 2022, 01:02:56 PM
Like any other closed-source wallet, no one knows what is happening in the background.

Yes, that was the reason why i moved my funds from coinbase non-custodial wallet to the Electrum as suggested by many members on my query.

Just for my knowledge, Is there a threat the closed source wallets can be any time programmed to get the private keys / Seeds of our wallets  Shocked
By the way, Ledger is closed source too  Shocked
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: June 30, 2022, 12:47:26 PM
I just don’t mind the dip anymore as I am now committed to buy Bitcoin every month through the traditional old-school dollar-cost averaging (DCA) method. BTC is for long term and I have regretted not doing DCA with it before because of being complacent with various altcoins (especially the pump and dump ones).

Regardless of the price right now, I’ll just keep buying every month with my extra “not beer” money.

Since no one is a fortune teller and no one can predict the top and bottom of bitcoin, it's best to buy bitcoin on every dip and do the dollar cost average.
For those who have missed the previous bitcoin rally this might be another or a last chance to jump in, invest in bitcoins and wait for the next all time high which will surely be near the halving.
1999  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Transfer from BRD on: June 30, 2022, 05:47:37 AM
I have a little bitcoins tied up in a BRD wallet. I cannot access BRD anymore (sold out to Coinbase). Is it possible to access this wallet to transfer it to Electrum wallet?
Not transfer but you can regain access to those coins using Electrum wallet via your seed.

download Electrum wallet >> verify signature >> open it >> Say you already have a seed >> enter your wallet seed >> BIP39 in seed options >> legacy Address >> m/0' derivation path.
you will get most of your balance.

for your rest balance follow the say above but this time click on native segwit >> enter m/0'

Well the coinbase wallet is also non-custodial wallet but with a closed source. So it is better that once you have done this step,  make a new wallet at electrum and transfer your funds to the New Electrum wallet. Now you will have a different seed phrase.
By doing this , you will have a piece of mind as its not very wise to trust the close source coinbase wallet.
2000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful ! 4500 Bitcoins has send to coinbase pro on: June 30, 2022, 05:35:43 AM
Aren't we planning on buying BTC during this bear market?  If this 4500 BTC crash the price isn't this advantageous to us?  We are able to buy BTC at a more discounted price.  At least to those who DCA this is another opportunity to lower their price buy average.  But I think this kind of movement is normal, I always see a whale message alert on my TG account, and most of them moved more BTC than this one.

Usually when people see funds moving to the exchange they do two things which are wrong in my opinion.

1) They do not buy at current low levels and wait for the dump to buy at even lower price

2) The short term holders sell their positions to buy back again at lower prices.

Bothe of these actions are risky and can lead to loss if the price do not dump.
