this has been done since the start of the website , all of the challenges are hosted at windice's forum or telegram / VK with rare exceptions
its a common practice , almost every single casino is doing it and I have no idea what made wozzek so cross?
he is unaware of the things called SEO and marketing , why post at a third party resource even as good as bitcointalk
when you can post at your blog or forum and get additional views, visitors ,exposure and traffic ?

ven game-protect once respect their service
Speaking of the devil.. try to look on whose talking above ^ .
just "put that on Ignore List" so you wont be affected by his Nonsense ,i have placed that from ignore list long time ago ,because he always say words against gambling sites but he cant even settled his own case .
I understand what you mean and i have had the impression of putting him on my ignore list before but i later understand that people like him can be of use sometimes when ones need to extract unique information about gambling scenario.
Every person do have a choice and its up to them if they would do such action.

@Windice, is there any promotions? I havent seen it for a while now.

daily promotions and contests are being held , check the telegram and forum
russian section VK contests, but you can participate ( takes just some Google translate skills Smiley   )
as for the "global" promotions, the double affiliate commission promos is running as we speak
in all the talks it kinda went unnoticed , but their affiliate is changed now
it is 3-levels and a progressive scale , starting from 15% to , I think  25% commission of the house edge
so it is now calculated according to the total wagered , not the total loss of your referrals
for two weeks the first level affiliate commission you get is doubled , it is 22% for me at the moment, for example

a cute new site
suggestion: cut the graphics, lower the music's bitrate
it is making the site sluggish and some mobile devices won't be able to load it
heck , I'm on a solid specs pc and it took me some time to load , do something about it now

26  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 16, 2020, 11:09:49 AM
yes gambled on some of the casinos on the list
the list itself s questionable since it is based   obviously , on the affiliate programme the sites offer and not about their quality
otherwise you can't explain 1xbit on the list and Fortunejack topping the list , with Bitstarz  second
both Bitstarz and 1xbit have multiple scam accusations against them , 1xbit is very notorious for its practices of account limiting and other shady stuff
while bitstarz has unresolved disputes , you can search the forum to read more
Fortunejack i a solid casino , but I would not call it the top of the crops , also where is Stake , crypto-games, Bitsler and other established crypto casinos?

marketing has a clear goal - invite new players or retain the old ones
marketing is not about giving away money , but spending it efficiently to increase the income of a site or establish branding etc.
some expenses are very obvious and people can see them , such as giveaways, contests , games and so on
but many things are done behind the scenes and it takes a lot of planning and deep knowledge of the market you are promoting at
you can burn thousands of dollars without any return , for example , buying Google ads with incorrect targeting or purchasing youtube promo from a boosted channel with bots
the problem is always to find a balance between spending money on marketing and return in a form of growing audience and betting volumes ( if we speak about a casino)
there are no clear rules or success recipes in this area
We are not talking about google ads here tho, do we? I mean we are talking about regular marketing here that everyone does in the crypto casino world, nobody says go spend thousands of dollars on google ads to get people, that would be weird considering google ads is less efficient than having literally the biggest bitcointalk gamblers section right here and you can make money.
I think you dont understand what hes saying because he was actuallg using the Google ads thing as an explain so people would understand his point of view.

There has been a lot of restrictions on signature campaigns before (not windice alone, just general) and if you could just get more and more people talk about it around these parts you will certainly get more people with efficient money spending as well because you know people here do like gambling. I am not saying remove competitions, that can still stand, but they should add something new or all they will have is rodolman and his competitors left in the whole casino.
Every campaign have restriction base on what they think will benefit the company traffic. What you're saying is different thing totally which did relate to what Veleten was talking about.

well , I think his idea of marketing is when sites are giving away free money for the players
while it can be an instrument it is not something that all of the sites must do or are doing
and yeah , I was trying to explain my point of view, but redsun refuses to accept anything other than " give coins away"
windice does a lot of giveaways and competitions that are +EV for players , check the forum  and telegram channels
there are daily and weekly contests and wagering contests are just that - wagering contests
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 67,1% of micro businesses do not know what cryptocurrencies are. on: January 14, 2020, 03:09:32 PM
well even if 1/10 of the micro businesses knew about bitcoin , this would have been  a great success
so far businesses do not utilize cryptocurrencies as much as I would like
simply because bitcoin is not a very convenient means of payment , the transaction speed is slow and it has some other bottlenecks , including legal grey areas
but the small merchants and businesses is what adoption is made of , if I can spend coins in my day to day life  and so do my neighbours and friends
this is going to do way more for bitcoin than articles, tv shows , magazine promotions or anything else
we are moving towards it slowly but surely , Lightning network is just one step towards it
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2020, 05:01:09 PM
I would not trust such a poll since it is most likely to be very skewed and not representative enough
there were polls that quoted 14% , 12% and so on , they do it this way - poll a number of people , say 1000 and extrapolate it on the whole populace
they simply cannot afford or have enough manpower to question millions of people , so they are trying to show their polls as a good representation of every class, gender , occupation etc.
and if you asked 10 doctors , 10 cab drivers , 10 engineers and so on , doesn't mean that the next 1000 of them will posses bitcoins ( or not)
6.2% figure is rather huge , I don't understand why ONLy , it is , probably , 3-4 times lower than that
6% is roughly 20+ million of people who own bitcoin , you seriously think that this is right?
I'd estimate it as 3-4 million at most  , but again , I'm speculating but my guess is the same educated guess as the polling agencies do , I asked a dozen of my  friends from  the US and only one of them owned bitcoins , so go figure
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: January 13, 2020, 03:34:59 PM
the most common mistake is buying shitcoins that are hyped through media but have no value behind them
if you invest in something, make sure it is a solid project , not some "new bitcoin"  that is not going to live another decade , most likely
and for sure you have to be aware of hackers and scammers , if don't take care of security it doesn't matter how smart or a good trader you are
you will end up with a zero , do not take it lightly and better spend time reading how to safely store and transfer your coins
another thing is listening to the analysts , predictors , visionaries and such , always use your own brain
remember that they have an agenda and in case of a failure it is not going to be them , but you who suffer monetary losses
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: January 13, 2020, 03:20:23 PM
my bank will not let me gamble despite my being in a country that actually licences sportsbooks and casinos (Malta).
I see the UK gambling regulator is about to ban credit card deposits for sportsbetting.. no doubt this will drive some more punters to gamble via BTC/crypto.

uh the link is broken , for a second I thought it was a legit news
if the UK gambling regulator would ban credit cards for gambling , this could make their casinos suffer huge loss
since almost every big bettor is a debit/credit card depositor , there are not so many using Skrill or other means
but this is one of the main advantages of gambling with the cryptocurrencies - almost instant deposits and withdrawals , no hassle
no need to deal with banks or regulators who love to "take care" of you by putting a wrench in the spinner of your gambling
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: look for Dice website that can do bulk bet like 999dice.com on: January 13, 2020, 02:06:49 PM
avoid GigaBet - it's a scam, they just stole coins from several player's balances, they pick bulk bets like lightning bet mode when player usually don't pay attention, and mods steal coins; when reported the missing coins, admin threatened to ban me, and mods chatbanned from warning other players! =SCAM

being a mod on quite a few gambling sites , I can safely say that moderators simply have no access to the players funds
they can't be stealing them even if they wanted to Smiley
if you have any proofs , please open a scam accusation in the appropriate thread , this is looking like a petty revenge for having been muted in their chat
the lightning bet mode is when you can bet up to 200 bets /second , but they are provably fair and you can check them if you want to
33  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: January 13, 2020, 09:05:48 AM
A 1 Satoshi bet means you really didnt gamble anything at all, it was just a test run which I understand the attraction of especially late night after much drinking.   But 1000 sat isnt especially going to hurt either and you might actually get some pennies back on a win instead of more pocket lint.
The only thing I'm thinking of that people have mentioned before on this forum is that silly idea of doubling the bet every attempt, starting with 1 sat might be desirable to those eternally hopeful people.   I can save you the effort, Martin is wrong :p dont use that nonsense.

1000 sat minimum bet is around 8 cents , this is one of the highest minimums around
and as for the Martingale systems , they are not the only ones to be used , but they can be profitable on some distance
especially if set up with an understanding of what are you doing and the corresponding bank
why should not we use that as you put it , nonsense? is it better to just randomly wager without any thought and hope to beat the house somehow?
this is why casinos flourish , because gamblers are ignorant
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: January 12, 2020, 03:28:52 PM
Less than 10 cents for a minimum bet seems more then reasonable. If you cannot afford that, you likely shouldn't be gambling.
It is reasonable(Not about whether I can afford it or not) but I suggested lowering the bet because many gamblers like me enjoy gambling with negligible amounts like 1 sat for fun and it usually lasts a long time in sites like Stake. This would basically attract more gamblers in the long term.

This is one of the biggest reasons why crypto casinos are better than their FIAT counterparts (Ability to gamble with very low amounts).
But how will a 1 sat bet work on plinko ? considering you get tiles with 0,2 x , 0,7 x payout etc.

well other sites found a way somehow , look at stake or bitvest , for example
their plinko and not only plinko allow to bet 1 satoshi or even 0.00000001 doge and the multipliers can be 0.2x or any other fractional
there are two ways - either round it down or up , or split further and keep it in memory and add up as you play
as for me , I don't like the sites limiting my minimum bet to the amounts like 10 cents or even 10 satoshi , since it limits my betting strategies
it is not the end of the world , but I have a choice I'd definitely pick a site with the "normal" minimum bet
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: January 12, 2020, 02:59:47 PM
the point of adding joke and straight wrong options to the vote ?
yeah we appreciate sense of humour , but this is not Comedy Central , at least make the list fit the page ffs
as to the question itself , there is not a single doubt that bitcoin will be dominating the market for years to come
for how many , it is another question , thing can change but they don't seem to be changing anytime soon
for bitcoin to lose its dominance something bad has to happen to it , or some new crypto has to appear that beats bitcoin in every aspect
and to many even in that scenario , btc will remainthe first one , you do not forget your first ones Smiley
36  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: January 12, 2020, 01:01:25 PM
~snip~
They realized long time ago that wagering competitions gives them profit while at the same time promoting their website so they gave up on all other forms of marketing that requires them to spend money and instead opted for the one that makes them money while marketing at the same time, which makes sense to a point but honestly if you spend money instead of make money during marketing, you could potentially get more users, yet it is a short term more profitable option to just let the competitions continue.
^ Definitely right, of course, they have probably liquidation regarding the promotions and which part of promotion gives a better result. Wagering contest is very helpful to them because at the same time they will able to increase the number of bets and it made to achieve a million nor billions of counts bets which is very impressive to the gamblers. Good to hear that signature campaign promotion is a part that they did not give up and I think it is very helpful to build trust and a good communication with the real members in the forum not just by a bot. Nevertheless, congratulations to the Windice team and staff for more achievements come.

Take a look on most dice sites here specially the old ones which they do remain out their signature campaign on this forum since they do know that tis place do had that sufficient traffic that can really give out potential new players to their site.Spending out money or having an expense in means of marketing is really like a double edge sword but you do need to consider this one if you do like to possibly succeed into this industry.
The good thing with Windice team is that they do know on what theyre doing.

marketing has a clear goal - invite new players or retain the old ones

37  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Qatar Financial Centre Puts Blanket Ban on Cryptocurrency Businesses on: January 12, 2020, 12:11:36 PM
Qatar financial centre has influence on all of the banks and exchanges operating in the country?
if so then they did shadowban bitcoin and operations with it China style , while it is not directly banned , the banks are discouraged to deal with this form of assets
but the problem is as usual , with the enforcement , the web based exchanges can be out of Qatar jurisdiction and provide services to their population
it will be hard to monitor every bank transaction from , lets say a private card or account and its a common practice for these semi-legal exchanges
they simply create a dozen of different bank accounts and accept , say , bitcoin , then send fiat money from a random card to the seller
I wonder how they can combat this sort of money laundering , apart from setting flags if the amount transacted is above a certain threshold
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going beyond $14,000 before May, history repeating itself on: January 11, 2020, 08:30:50 PM
very sceptical of all the predictions and hype around the halving and the potential bull run
people expect too much of it and the disappointment could be big , imagine the price dropping ( and it is not an outlandish scenario , right) and all of the analysts eating their baseball caps without salt Smiley
historically , the price goes up , but we are in a different period of maturity of bitcoin and the things could change , this could be the first halving when the price drops!  Cheesy
well , just kidding , , realistically , it should increase even if ever so slightly at first
as soon as the less efficient miners stop operations and selling coins , the price should go up because of the supply/demand if nothing else
do not discount black swans that can happen , we are on a brink of war nowadays - who knows what the future brings
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ before a big rise ? on: January 11, 2020, 08:02:59 PM
Why are many online price forecasts saying BTC will dip to $5k before the halving?
Do you predict the same too?
I'm not a pro trader, just asking out of curiosity

is there any reason to predict such a massive fall ?
and who is predicting  that , haven't seen such pessimistic online forecasts from analysts that are at least somewhat trustworthy and are not predicting random numbers just because they want to
for the price to go down 3200$ , aka almost 50% something groundbreaking has to happen
the times of "shaving" the noobs when a megawhale coordinated a massive sale of coins across the exchanges to cause a massive panic sell and rebuy cheaper have long gone
it would take too many coins sold to drop it to 5000$ and I highly doubt there are people willing to part ways with the coins in lew of halving , especially in huge quantities like that
my prediction , the price will stay in the 7000-9000$ corridor before and some time during the halving , slowly peaking as the time passes
40  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Satoshi Battles 🔥 Bitcoin based online PvP Game! 🔥 EARN FREE BITCOIN 🔥 on: January 11, 2020, 06:12:04 PM
A free to play RPG with a chance to earn some BTC is a good way to catch the attention of non-crypto users but into MMORPG. This is a good start for something new and fresh. No other Crypto-games launch something like this in the past and its real time RPG not those text based or picture based that we usually see.

I hope free players can keep up and earn good with proper grinding without investing a single satoshis

Yes players who don't deposit can simply earn bitcoin through grinding.
They can also just pvp for fun or for practicing.
They can also hunt potions and other stuff and sell those on the market for BTC to other players.

will there be a global item market Diablo style? ( now extinct there ,sadly )
hope the economy and trading is going to be a good part of the game  , not just roaming around looking for someone to PVP his ass  Grin
unique items and relics and monsters , do I wish too much from this game?
without free players , paying customers won't have enough playerbase to fight with
it is a common practice in such projects to allow people play for free but make the process of grinding time consuming
