Charles. Hoskinson. Another red flag! Now I know this is BS.

Excuse me? Who are you exactly and what have I done to deserve such a harsh attack? I have nothing to do with the OP and also decided not to share my archive after amassing many emails.

Of course he can be trusted, he's a professionally trained cryptographer with a strong background in topics related to cryptocurrencies: https://iohk.io/team/peter-gazi/ . We are considering putting more research behind spacemint to explore a new CC based on it.

Admit I was wrong? The only reason ethereum is where it is at is because of consensys- a centralized company. They got the Microsoft partnership, the EEA, founded dozens of dapp projects, supported core infrastructure, assisted with the conferences, etc etc.

My point was to start this first built ethereum and then do a crowdsale from a foundation when the protocol was done. The other way around, no one has any incentive to stay and sure enough everyone left and did their own thing

But his contribution to Ethereum classic is quite significant.

Exactly, and this is the crux of the propaganda machine ETH runs. During my time at Ethereum, I was both super incompetent accomplished nothing loser who also was a hyper competent sociopath that engineered his way to the CEO position and almost destroyed the project. Then everything post Ethereum has been golden, ironically including Ethereum classic, WHICH IS THE SAME TECH!

Fuck we even beat Vitalik to proof of stake with Ouroboros when he had a one year head start. BTW Ouroboros is the only proof of stake algorithm to ever be accepted for peer review at a major cryptography conference: (https://www.iacr.org/conferences/crypto2017/acceptedpapers.html number 71). Now the recent party line is that I actually don't understand the contents of the papers that my company writes. Somehow I have three university partnerships (http://www.businessinsider.com/iohk-sponsors-blockchain-research-lab-at-the-university-of-edinburgh-tokyo-tech-2017-2)(but couldn't be trusted to run the CCRG), 25 full time haskell developers including the creator of haskell (can't lead engineers) and we are revenue positive (can't run a company).

It's lies and propaganda by idiots who parrot whatever the hell they read. In other words, politics. They are on the other side and I might as well be satan.

How exactly do you know my contributions to ethereum were so minimal? Where you there? Did you work with me? Or are you just going off of rumors and speculation from the people who fired me? You know the ones who did the DAO and got fired themselves after wasting 9 million dollars?

That fat guy is trying to capitalise on the fact that he is one of (probably) 50 co-founders or so, and ethereum name weights heavily. In reality, he quited the project before launch and his contribution to ethereum's success is small to insignifiant.

It's quit

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin problems are pushing me to Dash ! Thanks Amanda Johnson on: March 03, 2017, 06:19:29 AM
I'm really curious why there is such a strong Dash is a scam sentiment among some in the BTC community. Is it because you disagree with the distribution, conduction of the leaders or believe the technology is in some way flawed? We actually did a very comprehensive study of Dash's treasury (https://iohk.io/research/papers/dash-governance-system-analysis-and-suggestions-for-improvement/) and while significant issues were found, they at least appear to be trying to create a decentralized funding mechanism.

I cannot comment on initial distribution nor if any of the founders have a past history of bad actions. I will point out however that despite initial distribution if coins flow to a larger group over time from the founders that the project does become fairly decentralized. For example, Nxt has one of the worst distributions ever and now I suspect coins are fairly well distributed. Of course, Nxt isn't doing so well so maybe its a moot point  Grin
