Because nothing illegal has happened.  There's nothing to "catch."

Just incompetence. Josh you ever going to ship my Jalapeno? I have to admit, I'm having fun digging you at the conferences. Did you catch my response to Bruno's question at C3?

The Bitcoin Education Project is going to host a series of 35 lectures on the following altcoins:

  • Litecoin
  • Peercoin
  • Namecoin
  • Primecoin
  • Novacoin
  • Feathercoin
  • Terracoin
  • WorldCoin
  • Devcoin
  • CryptogenicBullion
  • Megacoin
  • Freicoin
  • Ixcoin
  • Mincoin
  • Anoncoin
  • Digitalcoin
  • GoldCoin
  • Infinitecoin
  • BBQCoin
  • Zetacoin
  • Franko
  • Fastcoin
  • QuarkCoin
  • Yacoin
  • Luckycoin
  • SecureCoin
  • BitBar
  • ByteCoin
  • Argentum
  • Junkcoin
  • GameCoin
  • Bitgem
  • Bitgem
  • Elacoin
  • CraftCoin
  • Noirbits
  • Emerald

We based this list from coinmarketcap.com (http://coinmarketcap.com/). The process will be rather straightforward. I will be contacting the core devs of each of these coins and provide a template for a 10-15 minute screencast lecture that answers the following questions:

  • Why did you create your coin?
  • Who is working on your coin?
  • What problems does your coin attempt to resolve?
  • What makes your coin unique?
  • Where is your community based?
  • How can one get some of your coins?
  • How can one get involved to help you?

If you are an altcoin dev and your coin is not listed here, then post in this thread or PM me. I'lll be happy to let you include a lecture for our near 10,000 students on this interesting topic.

Cheers,
Charles

Now that I'm back at the helm of BEP full time, we will be producing a crowdsourced series of youtube videos called the pain series. The purpose is to discuss some of the pain points of the world's existing financial system from corruption to inefficiencies and how Bitcoin or cryptocurrency related technologies can resolve them.

Here is a link to the google doc we are using:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/13EHI77xRzZengos4til3f_i5Wd31ZWrmzfUHgPRMjEE/edit?usp=sharing

You can edit it freely and it contains instructions on how to write up a contribution. Feel free to list anything you can think of or provide edits and comments. Eventually these will be converted into 3-5 minute videos on youtube.

Charles is not the creator, I am.  He helped bring in funding and bootstrap the business.    We are working with various parties to explain the concepts better.

This is correct. Daniel Larimer created BitShares. We first started discussing it in the Project Invictus thread in June. He's doing an excellent job and I think BitShares will be a very innovative project moving forward in the future. I'm glad I could help get them started and moving in the right direction.
