21  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertising platform, better than clicks/views! on: April 13, 2014, 10:39:17 PM
Due to concerns about having deposits disabled for two weeks I enabled them again, and will disable and pay everyone before the change of ownership takes place.

I think this is a great idea, wouldn't want to hurt the potential value or utility of the site!  Thanks Carlos!

Just FYI, it seems like Mintpal is having issues with deposits on some coins currently. I've heard reports of IVC and BC deposits so far, but other coins may be affected as well.

I can confirm that my IVC transfer to Mintpal still isn't showing up (not even as pending) after 4-5 hours.

I can confirm that I was the 10 BTC bid.
25  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- $499.95 Gridseed Blades for existing customers! on: April 12, 2014, 08:13:59 PM

Does this one require me to send in my old miners or anything?  I've scanned through the thread and haven't seen any details of it.  Does the pervious order need to be for a 10-pack or will any order number work?

Thanks!

Edit:  If I buy one today, when can I expect it to go online?  I saw someone ordered one, but it looks like it isn't online yet after 4+ hours. Thanks again!
26  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Amazon.com giftcard codes @ 20% discount [gc4btc automatic delivery] on: April 11, 2014, 09:17:54 PM
more added this morning

your site says none available.

They sell out pretty fast.
27  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- New Pricing update! $136.95 Gridseed Miner, FREE HOSTING in STOCK on: April 09, 2014, 12:14:24 AM
Placed my 3rd order with GAWMiners!

Do you guys ever do special deals/sales on your mining cases?  I'd really like to pick-up the Gridseed T2 case.

Edit:  Also, is there a lead time on cases?  Most of the Scrypt cases I've seen like that always have a few weeks before they actually ship. Sad
28  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The Gridseed ASIC Blade is at GAW MINERS- Existing Customers FREE OVERNIGHT on: April 05, 2014, 12:36:56 AM
Received my second order a day early.

Any kind of a trade-in program in the works for the 5 chip miners towards buying blades? I like the space savings of the new blades.

Hi, lets talk over PM Smiley

Let me know if anything comes of this. Smiley
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: April 04, 2014, 11:40:07 PM
Is there a list of ports associated with the coins currently listed?
30  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The Gridseed ASIC Blade is at GAW MINERS- Existing Customers FREE OVERNIGHT on: April 04, 2014, 11:19:56 PM
Man, I want a blade... but with BTC in the dumps right now, I think I might have to wait it out.  Cry
31  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners - $20 off each miner! on: April 04, 2014, 02:00:31 AM
Got my second order today, very quick delivery (paid for priority) and everything was packaged nicely!  Thanks GAWMiners!

33  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ###### [IN STOCK] $194 Gridseed Plug & Play + 1 YEAR *FREE* HOSTING & FREE POWER on: March 31, 2014, 01:35:32 AM
Had a ticket open with GAW, not sure what the credentials are for the stock Pi image provided... I can SSH in but not login, and it doesn't seem to be running any web server.

I ended up using a modified Hashra image for now on another SD card.

Atari and his team have been working hard on the Pi's.  Let me know how you like it and how well it goes.

Pleasantly surprised - my order came with RaspPis intead of the Wiibox!

zoob, I had the same problem.  Apparently, it's supposed to be pi/gawminers ... didn't work for me, but that's what it's supposed to be.
34  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners - promo $20 off every single miner! Code: 5MORE on: March 30, 2014, 11:35:36 PM
I just placed another order (5 Miners) and was given some shipping options that just didn't make sense.  Including Library and Media mail via USPS, unless I'm mistaken, aren't those options only for boxes that are shaped like books or DVDs?  I ended up selecting USPS Priority - Large, but I just figured I'd give ya'll a heads up.

I had some problems with my first order, but their support staff had been quick to answer messages, something that is totally unheard of in this market.  They did such a good job that, I'm placing another order with GAWMiners.. I just hope this next one goes a lot smoother. Smiley

I'm just worried that the Blitz network dies as soon as the mining period is over, which miners want to maintain a network where they only getting transaction fees on a coin that wasn't designed to be used for transactions?  Grin
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: March 30, 2014, 02:49:54 AM
I'm enjoying the site so much, thanks for explaining why you've decided to continue mining Blitz.

A couple things...

Is there a way to mine one of the other coins listed?  For example, if I always wanted to mine to coin in the 2nd position, is there a specific port or something I can point to at the ipo pool?

The bottom left corner in the "Tech Support" footer, you have a link for "Cryptocointalk Forum" and it just links back to the page you're currently viewing. Smiley
37  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: March 25, 2014, 01:17:07 AM

Not to be a jerk, but by your own account your order didn't confirm until March 21st around 10am which would be around 10pm on a Friday in China (after business hours)... since shipping can't happen on Sunday, it doesn't appear to me that your order is late (48 hours obvious doesn't include non-business days, just like everything else ever ordered on the internet ever).

The blockchain.info fiasco affected thousands of peoples order from Bitmain and other retailers, give them a break, it wasn't their fault.

It stinks that you feel like you've lost some mining time, but Bitmain has been an upstanding part of the ASIC community since they started shipping units a few months ago.  To try to hold them accountable for something this miner (pun intended) that was out of their control seems a little beggy.

Anyways, I'm sure you'll get you shipping information tonight (since it'll be Monday over there), so don't sweat the small stuff and happy mining!

Well, since neither of us are being a jerk, I'm sure that you'll want to jump in again and make excuses for BitMain ... again.

Now it's 10PM on Monday in Shenzhen, and I've been waiting over 6+ days for my order to ship ... and not received any discount in the purchase due to their price change ... I'm sure that you have yet another set of excuses for their not shipping.

Now, per your excuse about weekends, I import from China as a business and *many* of the businesses work and ship on weekends - unlike your claim.  In addition, the BitMain website says *nothing* about "Shipping out within 48 hours after full payment, BITMAIN always ships fast as long as it's not a weekend, or if we screwed up and relied on a API to a platform that might be unreliable!"

The prices of the Ant Miner S1 is now 0.0918 BTC ... I have not seen my refund for the 0.07 BTC extra that I paid not to get mine either.

BTW ... this is NOT my first purchase from them, and I'm not writing this hear to get feedback from a fanboy ... I'm writing to ensure that others are clear what they are going to be dealing with if they order right now.  I believe that MY actions are being a true supporter of the community ... rather than to try and cover up the behavior of a vendor with excuses.

That being said, the reason that I ordered yet another Ant Miner is that I *really* like the product, and my prior experiences were so good!  The last unit that I ordered from them on the 11th shipped on the 12th ... I was happy with that process and delivery.  This time they have obviously got themselves into trouble and are unable to keep to their commitments, and have not been in communications.

IF they would at least be more open and communicate with us - not individually but as a whole here on this thread - I would feel more comfortable.  They could be writing even one post a day explaining their current backlog and expected waiting times ... but they are not.

I'm glad that YOU are so comfortable with your order and BTC being held up ... exactly how many units do YOU have stuck on order with BitMain at this time, and for how long?

I agree, their communication is horrible.  The S1 is a superb unit, I've owned 4 and loved them all.  I'm no fan boy, but I can see how it might read that way.

As far as your question, I placed an order for 500 U2+ units (13.9 BTC) on March 3rd.  I finally got my shipping confirmation today.  That's just the game we play with BTC miners.  Grin

Anyways, glad your miner is no longer MIA!
38  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (In Stock) Gridseed USB miners - $189.95 Plus Free Hosting and Electricity! on: March 24, 2014, 02:01:05 AM
I was just checking out your 15 Mh/s offering, and I was confused by some of the quantities on here.

Quote
  • 43 X Gridseed Miner
  • 1 X Server to control all miners!
  • 4 x 12V 30A 360w DC industrial power supply
  • 4 x 10 Port usb hub (high quality for stability)
  • 4 2.5mm DC power cables
  • 4 x usb mini data cables
  • 1 x network cables
  • 4 x Country especific power adaptors (AU, EU, US, UK) to plug in 24 power supplies, 12 usb hubs and 12 controller

Why does it only include 4 usb and power cables, doesn't it need one for each of the 43 miners?  Also is one server enough to manage all 43 miners, I for whatever reason thought they maxxed out at 10 units each.

Thanks!

Hey Bitmain,

I'm still waiting for *any* word on my order after 2+ days ...  :-(

Please let us know if anything is going on?  How long until you'll recognize my order as being legit?

I ordered on your site with the same username ... please catch up and get these orders processed!

:-/

Humancell

Ok ... my order and payment from almost three days ago has finally been confirmed, but not shipped.

YEA!!

Now ... PLEASE ship my miner ...  ;-)

BitMain,

The fact that I have a confirmed payment is fine and all ... but my Ant Miner S1 *STILL* is not showing as shipped.  :-(

I placed Order: 00120140319210344142S4hj0DPU065C on the 19th of the month ... and you charged me 0.988 BTC.  Confirmation finally came through 2+ days later ... and now it's been silence with no indication of shipping.

On your site you state:  "Shipping out within 48 hours after full payment BITMAIN always ships fast"

I understand that your systems were built dependent on BlockChain.info, but by the time - 2+ days late - you confirmed my payment you still charged me the full 0.988 BTC.  Even though you dropped the price to 0.938 BTC you have not refunded me the 0.05 BTC that you cost me with your delays.  I wouldn't really care about this if you can then shipped the unit when you confirmed my payment - which is now 2+ days ago - but now my order has not shipped.  It is now 5+ days later I'm not clear on when my unit is shipping.

BitMain, PLEASE ship my Ant Miner S1 ... or give us an update on why the 48 hour commitment is now not being met.  Or give me the 0.05 BTC discount that you dropped the price?  Or both?

I really don't care about much of this if you would simply ship my unit!  :-)

Please?

Awesome!  Thanks for the reply, and I also think you should offer another round of free hosting but give me a little time to get some money back in the bank.  Tongue
