guys off topic question. Is it possible that pool operator, takes part of the hash and point to nicehash to again mine on the same pool? If its possible that will show double or that part hash and the pool owner takes the split?
yes its very possible.. there was a pool called bitcoinaffiliatnetwork.. he was accused of selling hash to rent.. the pool became very shady and nobody got paid for weeks.. i think it went offline with him owing 100s of bitcoin to people.Most were owned to himself as he was the largest miner on the pool especially toward the end, but some were ripped off and it's not like they did not have any warning. Even the ones that defended the pool, myself included, started warning miners to get out but some did not listen. |

Two of my S5s quit working 2 days ago. I can access them remotely, rebooted....
Connected but not mining don't have time to read page after page.... The are in different locations and different internet.
2 S7s are working and on S5. Am I alone here on this?

Slush pool was my very first mining pool and I was on it for a good while. There has been many shady things in the past where miners did not get paid the right amounts, some got over paid, some under paid and a few times the blocks did not show up on the pool but people seen the pool found a block on Blockchain, but also many times when the pools hash rate jumped up the pool would quit hitting blocks. At first when some brought it up I did not believe them, but after so long a pattern starts to show that could not be ignored. Trying to get help on here from the operator was impossible. Needless to say I left.

I am very glad I moved my modest amount of hash back to Kano's pool about 40 days ago, after mining elsewhere for the last 8 months. I only wish I moved back sooner now after seeing these results.

When it's your own gear, it's even more satisfying  . That first block I ever found was with an S1 I had brought online about 2 weeks prior to finding the block. I had it overclocked and running 200GH/s. Difficulty was about 6.9G then. Crazy that I still remember it... block 297777. I've never found one solo, though. The first block this pool found was pretty close to solo... only a few of us were mining at the time. My very first block was on Slush with a USB Asicminer erupter miner when they first came out. I went to Slush's pool and logged in but dont see where or if they still show the blocks you found like they did. But I did find the blog I started back then and I at one time had 70 USB miners running before I sold and bought BFL miners. http://aurel57.blog.com/ |

I just switched to Antpool from Kano and make 20-30%more
That's funny as I left Ant Pool a couple weeks ago and move 2 miners to Kano's pool and have made a lot more than if I had stayed at Ant Pool. I do have an S3 miner at Jonny's pool as well. |

Naw a screenshot of your pool configuration page. Not the miner status page. I have a feeling it's a controller issue? Even if he had wrong pool configure info that info should show up on status page but just show dead I believe. So if under powered you should still see this I would think. Are the fans running? |

Everyone is different but I would find it hard to sleep in same room....about half as loud as a vacuum cleaner running depending on the fan speed you run it at. Then you will have the heat also....so depending on where you live it may get warm in the room as well.

Well I rented a little more hashing power this morning but somebody is rent 3PH today, so maybe it will kick in later on.  How can you tell that someone rented that much? You can tell on the rental site that someone has a large order placed and in turn if their price is highest they get the miners...but when he says about kicking in later I believe he is talking about his rented hash kicking in on this pool once the big players rental runs out and the price comes back down to where he has his. You can not tell from the pool if the hash is owned or rented, unless you know the person and they have a huge jump in hash rate on the pool. |

Do they send you an email when they ship out your unit or does everybody just keep logging in to check their order status?
they send email. Also I find I get the email notice and updated on account a day or two after they have been shipped. I would find out faster that my unit was sent by notice from my UPS account. If your using UPS you need to open a free account with them and once Bitmain prints out a label you will be notified. I also use this account to change the delivery to my local UPS store so I don't miss the delivery if nobody is home to sign for it. Just stop at the UPS store after work and show my ID to pick up the package. Clever. Before i started doing this, I once had a miner show up before I got an email that it was shipped. Luckily I was home. The best part is it helps keep the wife from finding out about me buying "another miner" ....😇 |

NH will determine what price is competitive and assign hash as appropriate. Obviously, this can lead to a bidding war... if somebody decides to place an order for 2PH and pays 0.005 per TH, then pretty much every miner below that threshold is going to be redirected to this new order.
So, if you place an order for say 0.0042 and it's hashing away, then it gets shut down, it is because those miners are redirected to other orders.
