21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think? on: September 08, 2018, 01:57:48 AM
The last few days of bullish tokens are now falling. I really can't understand the current situation. Huh Huh Huh
Understanding what is happening in this market is almost impossible right now, I have come to the point in which I'm just giving up because this market is completely unpredictable, its impossible to know exactly what's going to happen, that doesn't mean that I have given up in this market in fact I'm still holding my coins but it seems a bad idea to try to buy tokens with a low market cap.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: September 08, 2018, 01:49:52 AM
The problem with exchanges is that it doesn't matter how high their security really is they have to interact with people, and this opens up a lot of possibilities for hackers to send links or viruses in those messages that could infect a machine in the network of the exchange which eventually will give the hackers a way to steal the coins of the exchange and their customers.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: September 08, 2018, 01:39:16 AM
I don't think there is enough Bitcoin to make it possible the way you've presented it.
This is the same argument that people use against gold and it doesn't make sense, there is enough bitcoin to manage the whole economy of the world, but that means that each bitcoin is going to become incredibly valuable, why do you think that many people in the forum are always giving the message that you should hold your coins? The reason they do that is because of the argument that you give.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: The money started coming back to the cryptocurrency market on: September 08, 2018, 01:29:16 AM
Do not be so sure about it, many people are saying something like that and they have been proven wrong time and time again, it is better to just let the market recover at its pace, there is no point in trying to rush it, the market is going to recover as soon as it can and the only thing that we can do is to watch that recovery happening, we cannot influence it by trying to spread good news.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Great news everywhere today and Bitcoin price goes vertically up, again!!! on: September 06, 2018, 03:51:33 AM
Great news everywhere today and Bitcoin price goes vertically again!!!

Shotted from 6000$ range to 7500$ in few hours after Bloomberg announced that BlackRock is looking to invest in cryptocurrencies and Goldman Sachs will hire David Solomon, current president of the New-York headquartered multinational Lloyd Blankfein in October. This guy is crypto-friendly let's say and this is huge news because trillions will be pumped soon.

They will take their positions now when is still cheap. Be wise guys do the same what the big guys do!!! Take your positions the race is started, again.

Taking into consideration last weeks looks like the bullish market is ready to start. What do you think am I right?
And now what we are seeing is that the market is falling off a cliff, all the market is down and most coins are down by double digits and many people are very scared about what is happening, it is entirely possible that those people never have the intention of creating anything and they did it so they could then announce that they canceled their project just to make the market crash.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next big ICO on: September 06, 2018, 03:42:24 AM
the next big ico I prefer ubex because the concept is good and sales are almost close to hardcap and sales now reach 23,548 ETH of the total hardcap of 24,000 ETH
It is likely that there is not going to be a big ico for a long time, they may have reached their hard cap but with the recent crash in the market the amount of fiat that they are going to get is going to be smaller and it's likely that they're going to be unable to complete the project because of lack of funds and it's likely that is is going to be a common theme for the next months and years.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: How the Bank works to make money? on: September 06, 2018, 03:31:21 AM
How do you think banks make money, how does a bank make money to pay its employees and business operational?
Does the bank rely solely on interest on loans from banks?
Banks not only rely on loaning money to the public to make profits, however most of their money is made through credit cards that have great interest rates, but another way in which they get a lot of money is that they offer investing packages in which they offer you some of the profits but as you may guess they keep most of those profits to themselves, so you take all the risk of losing money and yet they get most of the profits.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What next with the crypto market? on: September 06, 2018, 02:37:49 AM
It looks we are stable again. Are we going to go up from here or back to bear market.... What are your thoughts?
It is obvious that the bear market has not ended as soon as a bad news comes up the whole market goes down, there are rumours that this is because Goldman Sachs cancelled or delayed its plans to open a desk for the exchange of cryptocurrencies, but whatever the case it is clear that we are still in the middle of a bear market and we need to deal with it.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: August 13, 2018, 04:22:35 PM
All of a sudden bitcoin jumped from 6.5k to almost 8k today. I believe those who made panic selling are very disappointed now. This is the reason why i said bitcoin investment is not only about risk taking. Am pretty sure no old member sold thiers at that cheap. Sometimes experience counts. Never think bitcoin is gonna die
Of course that experience counts, many of the people that have been here for a very long time remember even bigger crashes than the one we suffered and they still did not sold their coins, for many people this was their trial by fire and unfortunately many people failed the test and lost money as a result of their terrible decisions but that was to be expected since they had no experience with bitcoin moving this way.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: At least waiting for good and not waiting for nothing! on: August 13, 2018, 04:19:05 PM
Price is not an indicator of a coin/token's success. Bitcoin could be as low as $100 and still succeed by being well adopted(though adoption would most likely increase the price). At least now we have significantly less price-related memes on communities like Reddit.

Don't get me wrong though, I definitely want a price increase(who doesn't?).
Correct, there were many coins that were successful in terms of price but the community could tell they were scams and time and time again the community was proven right and those poor souls that did not listened lost all their money because of it, so price is not a valid metric to say if a coin is successful since we know very well how that can change very fast from one day to the other.
31  Economy / Exchanges / Can I withdraw alts without veryfing in Poloniex? on: August 13, 2018, 03:48:09 PM
Hi, I need to buy some altcoins and Poloniex is one of the few exchanges that has the currency pair that I need, my question is if Poloniex still allows withdrawals from unverified accounts since I do not like the idea of going through KYC? I just need to buy a few hundred dollars in coins so it's nothing big, can I do that?

It seems you can withdraw up to 2000 a day without verifying but I cannot find that information in the site of Poloniex and since I have never used a centralized exchange I am fearful my money is going to be stuck there.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will not hit 20000 soon? on: August 12, 2018, 02:57:11 AM
Bitcoin's growth began in early 2017 and then it touch 20000. Bitcoin's largest growth is due to the ability to trade with tether dollar. With this growth, a huge growth in ICOs appeared. Nowadays about 30 ICOs are added to the market. This huge volume of ICOs, has taken the power of bitcoin growth. Like weeds next to a tree. Bitcoin will not grow until ICOs exists.
No, icos grew in price when the market was hot and the market was hot because investors were putting their money in bitcoin and they decided to invest in all kind of speculative coins not understanding why they were doing, if what you said was right icos should be dominating the market now and growing like we have never seen them before, but the opposite is happening with icos barely reaching their soft caps and trading way below their ico price after they are listed in an exchange.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: August 12, 2018, 02:51:13 AM
We are witnessing a strange situation on the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 2 months, the cryptocurrency has experienced a strong correction. But now I hear more and more that soon will begin a large growth of altcoins. What do you think about it, friends?

I am convinced that throughout 2018 we will see a gradual recovery in the market, but we should not expect this growth to occur in such an explosive way as that observed over the past years, because I believe that this was an episode of extraordinary speculation that will hardly repeat itself in the future and, on the contrary, we should begin to get accustomed to more stable behavior in the price of cryptocurrencies, as befits an increasingly mature market, and with investors less moved by emotions, and more for the rational aspect.
At least your prediction is more realistic but since all this market is completely dominated by bitcoin, if bitcoin does not recover then altcoins are not going to recover either and since bitcoin is not going to recover in this year people will need to accept that their altcoins are not going to give them profits this year and it is entirely possible that the next year is going to be very similar to the current one.
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad Psychology of Traders on: August 12, 2018, 02:41:34 AM
Why most of Traders have bad psychology of trading they keep lose more and more and can lost his account and they left quickly when operations is winning?
Because many people have the wrong idea of what trading is about, while it is obvious that this is about earning money at the same time they think they need to make very risky trades in order to make money, but in fact the first thing you learn in a book about trading is that you need to make very safe trades, your first goal as a trader is just to survive the market since most people lose all their money in just 6 months, if you can do that then you are ready to get profits, but people want to get profits from day one and that is impossible.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason For Creating a New Cryptocurrency? on: August 12, 2018, 02:21:18 AM
The growing development of cryptocurrency in the world becomes a very positive thing in this digital era where the use of blockchain-based technology becomes real. However, in my mind, being questionable is actually the reason that many people make and create a new crypto currency?
Most engineers make a coin to profit for themselves, they couldn't care less about the long haul prospects of the coins they are making, they just think about themselves this is the reason it is getting more typical to hear individuals say things against icos since the designers and theorists are getting rich while everybody misfortunes cash and this is essentially unsustainable.
This is why I have lots of doubts about the future of icos, scammers are abusing that figure to get rich themselves and while I do not like regulation I think we are getting to a point in which regulations are going to be needed if we want to avoid more scams in the market, so congratulations to scammers once again they have ruined an opportunity because of their greed.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Curiosity of bitcoin prices in the future on: August 12, 2018, 02:04:49 AM
People are too impatient, they know that the price will eventually recover but they do not want to wait, they want that the recovery to begin immediately and the market is not going to move the way they want it just because they wish it, they are the ones that need to adapt and most of the time they are not willing to do it and they pay the consequences of their actions by losing all their money while those that are capable to hold get all the profits.

The reason some people are impatient is because we are so used to faster transactions and something that is instant that's why many people join pump and dump groups because they cannot wait for their profits in the future and they want it now. They are burned for sure because of their greediness. People should learn to have patience especially in this kind of market because not everything will be instant. The market needs correction from time to time and as one have patience to wait for the right time, he would be able to reap the fruits of it.
I know that people that entered in this market recently have been spoiled, they got used to get incredible profits but they do not know that this market can also remain static for long periods of time, I have watched this market for some time and I remember seeing bitcoin not moving that much for months until it began moving up suddenly and it did for the rest of the previous year.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: August 11, 2018, 02:49:33 AM
I agree, bitcoin can overcome or be useful in overcoming a troubled economy. because it can provide income for those who do not have a job or those who have a regular job as additional income.
hence they will not have difficulty in economic terms, especially basic needs or daily needs. and very beneficial for those who have low and medium economy and bitcoin is very helpful to them.
We are seeing bitcoin helping people in countries with problems with their economies already this happened in Argentina some time ago and now it is happening in Venezuela, and when an economic crisis strikes again the world, we are going to be ready and we are going to have a currency which is at least decade old and that will grow in usage thanks to those failed economies.
In term of a whole country, I'm not so sure whether bitcoin would brighten a nation's economic situation since its price is unstable and unpredictable and it also depends on whether that country's government is willing to accept bitcoin. But for those who is struggling to make a living, bitcoin would be a brilliant choice since it can fulfill their basic needs and provide them with a considerable amount of profit. I have seen many of my friends who used to live on the breadline have become richer and led a successful life thanks to bitcoin.
We still have not seen bitcoin being adopted and used by a full country but that is because it did not had the chance to do so, but in the future once the economies of the world collapse it is going to have the chance to do it, we do not know if it is going to be successful but people at that point will be so desperate that they will try to find a way to make it work.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: August 11, 2018, 02:19:14 AM
Is no longer news that various countries of the world are not in support of Bitcoin either as a means of payments or for trading purpose. This are been a challenges most Bitcoin users are facing throughout the countries of the world inexception of few countries.

I have begin to see it that maybe they are thinking that adoptions of Bitcoin might bring a partial collapse of the banking system and also a means of curbing money laundering.
So, let hear your views on what can be done to make our government realised the important of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology.
They know very well what it is at stake here, they do not want to accept bitcoin fully because if they do so bitcoin could overtake their currencies and their economies and they could lose control of the society, governments think that we cannot survive without them and while they are mistaken at the same time we do no want a disorderly fall of our society.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: August 10, 2018, 10:29:53 PM
Hi,
Let's suppose that Bitcoin became adopted everywhere such as paying bills with Bitcoin, getting salary with Bitcoin, shopping, restaurant etc...
How your country gonna survive if you only use Bitcoin in a daily basis? I mean a country cannot survive if individuals doesn't pay taxes, well with Bitcoin you don't pay any tax right?
How this gonna be possible? Please shed for me some light on this.
Thanks

I'm sure many people will pay there taxes, and the government would crack down on those who are not. It's the only reason why I see they might "ban" it, because then it becomes a concern of national security.
But that is exactly the problem how are they going to crack down on bitcoin users, even with all the regulations put in place it is not like you cannot buy bitcoin face to face that way you do not leave a trace of your transactions, and even if they could create sting operations what it is going to stop the bitcoin holders to move to a country with friendly laws towards bitcoin.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to find potential small cap projects on: August 10, 2018, 10:05:42 PM
The search for potential small capitalization, you can use the aggregate price sites like coingecko or coinmarketcap. You can use coinmarketcap with the "Trending / Recently Added" function to check the list of new coins added. In order to filter out potential growth currencies, you should set criteria such as.

•  New to coinmarketcap less than 20 days.

•  Trading volume is over 1 million USD.

•  Market capitalization of $ 5-25 million.

Then, you select a list of currencies that meet your criteria.
Not bad but remember those coins can give great profits especially if you select the right coin but at the same time things are not so simple anymore, just a few years ago you could select almost any coin and you could have gotten profits thanks to the bull market and since that is going to take a lot of time to appear again then I am not so sure this is the moment to take such a high risk.
