21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] EOS Classic : Make EOS Decentralized Again! on: August 11, 2018, 07:26:47 PM
Это сразу было видно что несерьезный проект. Где биржи? Где не глючащая сеть?
Its not serious project. Where is exchanges? The net always stuck, not stable pool. Where is exchanges for this coin?
EOS Classic торгуется на бирже letsdocoinz.com/EOSC-BTC
Where live link at this exchange ??
https://letsdocoinz.com/EOSC-BTC
current price .00000020 bitcoin
0.0013 us dollar

for just starting out what do you think?
That is not real price. letsdocoinz does not support EOSC. They will delist it soon like they said. Nobody's doing trade there and it is unknown shit exchange.

The current otc price range from 300 sat to 2000 sat (sold by me and also acted as escrow). Devs made it clear earlier that they will list it only on quality exchanges. They will implement DPOS, WASM and more by this year. So yeah it looks good.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Unprofitable - What next? on: August 11, 2018, 04:42:21 PM
GPU mining has certainly become unprofitable, at least for the time being. Has anybody looked into Bitmain's Equihash Antminer? It looks profitable to me, but how long it will remain profitable that is another question. Not to mention the noise, you can't mine at home. What do you think is it worth it?
Stfu with all of the noise bs.

I know people who got their investments back in one month with that thing mining zencash.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Factory Direct price dump of Evga 1080ti's on: August 10, 2018, 06:20:14 PM
This is nothing. I can get brand new Gigabyte gaming (3fan)1080ti for $550 (maybe even less if buy more)from a retail shop. The dumping has started really bad. Vegas are going for very cheap too.

But why waste money when nex gen will be launched within weeks. They won't have any resale value either. Right now is the time to sell your old gen.

Lol. Wth

STOP playing, nobody's buying it. We all know that all of the comments here are made by a single person using multiple accounts. This is all scripted.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining battle! Zen Protocol Vs Monero! The results may suprise you! on: August 06, 2018, 09:32:21 AM
Again as most of us know, one of the main aspects we can test the mining’s value and ratio can be done by the giga-hash factor.
That value is calculated by the graphic cards needed for the mining process: A good graphic card equals 1 giga-hash. So basically 1 miner = 1 giga-hash (Or at some cases, a machine).
So, how strong is Zen Protocol in terms of mining?

The answer is quite interesting - If pre-genesis Zen Protocol showed a solid number of around 70 giga-hash, the number has increased almost by a 150 fold, with a 10,000 giga-hash rate achieved in less than a month.

[/size]

Its funny that you state gpus. Didnt ZEN Protocol only have a CPU miner publicly available with several groups of miners having a closed source private GPU Miner. It was pretty much impossible for a normal miner to mine this coin. Also your comparing SHA-3 to CNv7. They do not run similar hashrates, and actually SHA-3 should achieve easily 1000x higher hashrate than a GPU on CNv7.

Also too bad you cant find out any information about this coin. No hashrate information, no information on trustable miners really, no chatrooms, nothing.

All of the comments in this topic are fake. Just saying.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are the good brands of power supply? on: August 05, 2018, 04:04:29 PM
You research on the specific model not the brand with PSUs. As popular brands can have a very low quality PSU model.
Personally I always go with Antec. Their good PSUs are made by Seasonic, I tested their warranty when 3 months ago 2 of my PSUs died (due to my mistake) so I went to Antec service center next day and they gave me new models immediately. I just bought two Antec HCG X 1000 and they look really cool in gold.

Anyone whom lost to this guy;  deserved it.  Reference the above quote as a primer.....  Notice the exaggeration of the red highlight.    This guy answered my question like Obama would have;  by making a statement about a different topic.

and reference all of the posts from page 1 to this quote on page 9 and beyond.

Why is this subject still a thing again?

It's not about that anymore. Now it's about involvement of BitTube creators, but we can't do much about it and nobody cares anymore.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Deception & Misdirection by ZEC co. Forking ASIC Resistance Bitmain Antminer Z9 on: August 03, 2018, 09:23:04 PM
I just want to say I feel pretty deceived and betrayed by Zcashco.

Seems like the thing to do would be to change the Equihash parameters which are known to be unnecessarily friendly towards ASIC design and find a research group to see the long term effects ASCIS have on cryptos.

Look at Dash - coin is dead. Unless you have sub $.05 per kWh you are in the red before facilities.
Just because mining is not profitable for you doesn't mean the coin is dead. It is still sitting at #14.

#20. #14 is twice as big as zshit.
You misunderstood. I was talking about dash.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer B3 Bytom Mining First review on: August 03, 2018, 09:01:25 PM
Maybe when bitmain opens their facilities in america I will go there with my B3 and take the law into my own hands.

LOL.

One of the quality projects around. Definitely supporting it. Hope the devs don't break our trust and keep bringing new updates to the project.

Also is there a developers fund ? I want to donate some.

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Bitcoin Mining with TV !!!!! on: August 03, 2018, 10:28:00 AM
"Canaan Creative, a China-based second largest producer of bitcoin mining rigs, has launched the world's first bitcoin mining television set.  Called 'AvalonMiner Inside', the TV set will work on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and will have voice-activated functions.

With the AvalonMiner Inside, the company aims to bring bitcoin mining right to people’s homes. The TV set could mean a greater decentralization on the bitcoin network.  AvalonMiner Inside set has a hash rate (computing rate) of 2.8 trillion hashes per second whereas the most powerful mining hardware my Canaan has a hash rate of 11 trillion hashes per second.

The TV set is also equipped with an in-built real-time mining profitability calculator which would help the customers assess the device’s performance. The bitcoins mined by the TV can be spent on products available at the store platform by Canaan Creative. The products include physical gifts and entertainment packages.

This is the first in a series of “blockchain-related home appliances” that will use the AvalonMiner Inside. The device is a part of Canaan Creative’s attempt to widen the user base and bring in more appliances integrated with bitcoin mining capabilities as well as blockchain technology.

The AvalonMiner will be distributed to retail businesses who can supply them to customers. With the new TV set, Canaan Creative now has a line of two products in Hong Kong.  The company is planning to launch more blockchain related products in the future.

The launch of TV set comes following the company's initial public offering (IPO) application in Hong Kong in May of this year, which is expected to raise $1 billion.  Canaan Creative's rival Bitmain is also reportedly coming up with an IPO soon.  Bitmain made over a billion dollars in profit in the first quarter of this year and has set a target of $2 to $3 billion as profits of the entire year. Canaan, on the other hand, reported nearly $205 million worth of revenue in 2017."

So we all agree that BitTube is scam...

how u figure? I thought they have a working product

Yeah...they also had a working dwafminer....

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gincoin profitability much lower than expected on: July 29, 2018, 04:32:27 AM
This is normal with lyra2z miner tdxminer. You will get less then what the calculator says.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable GPU mining rig Domino G12 on: July 23, 2018, 05:35:15 PM
Sounds fishy as 12 Gpu do not run well or do not run at all with only 4GB of Ram. There is the common consensus between small home miners that up to 8 cards can run with 4GB of Ram although not recommended, the usual recommended Ram is 8 GB if you are mining with a device which has more than 8 cards.

After searching the website of dominorig I don't see office location so anyone interested can go there and check by themself and also the website is done in a very cheap and unprofessional way with Wordpress. These are big red flags for me so I would be cautious to say the least.
I am running 12 RX 570 4gb with 4gb ram. No problem at all.
This is my frame (1050ti rig), you can also place one frame over other like a tower. https://ibb.co/gKm8Td
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain = 12 Billion, Antminer Chip Tear Down, ETH Vyper, Nvidia GTX 1160/1180 on: July 21, 2018, 04:43:56 PM
The image of that "1180" PCB that's 99% populated....

I see 3 8-pin PCIE power headers....

How many watts are they expecting a GPU to draw  Shocked

It as nice seeing the die photos of the new bitmain asic.... interesting approach... but the results shows, how far they can be stretched for now (which is good)... and I bet they already have something way heftier planned and in the works/R&D.
That is just a test board. That helps the engineers to test the limits, it won't have 3 8-pins.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 50K+ budget, Suggestions? on: July 21, 2018, 04:37:43 PM
Buy Antminer Z9 first batch (current batch), best bang for buck, fastest ROI. Or Innosilicon A9 which is even better, it's very power (and expensive) so it will take very less space.
