What do you mean will be back on the exchanges for trading? from what I see RavenCoin (RVN) already listed on several popular exchanges including BinanceIt's just that the price is currently falling almost to its lowest point but it's normal because it's not just Ravencoin, other coins are experiencing it too If you are part of the community then this is the right time to buy right? I was wondering about Bittrex. Including Bittrex is also available BTC-RVN more than 50 markets available for you please choose which one you like the most Coinmarketcap If you bought RVN yesterday then today you have made 8% profit not bad easy money right  why the price still cheap even though it is supported by big markets  The Bittrex wallet is in maint mode, you can't deposit. I have have one in limbo for 3 weeks. Yes - this was brought up at the last developer meeting (near the end of my previous transcript post). Tron Black has been in contact with the exchange. He provided them the requested information. As of May 27th, the wallet was still offline so he reached out a second time via their shared slack channel and offered further assistance. At last update he had not yet heard back from them the second time (before the long weekend) - though I'm sure it will come up at this Friday's meeting if it is not resolved by then. Thanks!!! |

I've just finished paying fees for the pool server to run for another year. Given the number of blocks solved this year, I'd feel bad having the community provide funds to support its running. Let's see where we stand in a year's time again.

OK I have been playing around with this on and off. When I get the results (say from the example above) I can't IMPORTPRIVKEY into my wallet. How do I get it to display a private key that can be imported into a wallet?

Would you guys solo mine if you had about 1.2PH or still mine in a pool? I am sure it depends on risk tolerance but curious on people taught on this.
1.2PH is TOO MUCH to gamble with, and yet TOO SMALL to win blocks at somehow consistent time intervals, it's most certainly a terrible idea to gamble with 240$ worth of Bitcoin every day unless you think gambling is good for you. This of course changes if you had like 50PH and 1PH was just 2% of your hashrate and you want to play with it, just like how most of us here do, the majority of hashrate is pointed to a pool that would give us somehow a stable income, and a bit of the hashrate is pointed to solo pool merely for fun/gambling given the low chances. The short answer is: It's a terrible idea. he would be better off pointing 1.15 ph to a legit pool that pays steady and 0.05 ph to ck- solo or better yet to Laurentia Pool that pool was created by ck and has only 3 miners on it. So even a 3PH it would still to low to solo. I am working my way up to 3PH It all comes down to luck, look at the guy here that hit a block with a set of stick miners. You can have 3PH and not hit a block for years, or have 100TB and hit one in a day. |

Just get a wallet with an app that notifies you of a deposit, nice hash, binance whatever 1) Those are third party sites and not under your own control: not your keys, not your bitcoin. Don't think that is very smart. 2) some sites do not accept coinbase transactions as a deposit so if one is to use one of those 'wallets' then make damn sure they allow it. When you say make damn sure they allow it..... How does one do that? I am mining using a BTC address from my coinbase.com account for ease of use because I can convert to USD and cash out quickly. However, I have wallets with Exodus and Atomic which are private key based. If I ever get lucky the BTC I receive will be converted to cash fast but I am now concerned that I should be using a BTC address from my exodus wallet instead. But not sure. The "not your keys not your BTC" has always been a concern for long term storage but not for quick conversion I use the BitCoin QT wallet, I control my private keys. Sure it's an extra step to send coins to Coinbase, but at least I control the keys to my wallet. |
