I too have issues opening the wallet now, it crashed after I tried sending an amount to Cryptopia, some error about exceeding the limit, and since then I can't open it anymore. Suggestions are welcome.
curiousity prevails upon me to ask, are they showing as pending at cryptopia? even if they are, as long as they're not confirmed it should be still possible to send them in smaller batches, double spending is real shame there isn't a working explorer as well :p

haha i see. the figure generally touted around as coin supply is really the maximum coinage able to be handled in one tx (not sure of the finer details tbh) in this case, probably a useful figure to be aware of .. it's 2 billion coins https://github.com/stronghands/stronghands/blob/master/src/main.h#L37so i guess you should never have been able to actually send those coins. so it sounds like only your client that is having a problem, and the coins should be fine. i'm unsure if a simple mod of that value would cause a fork or not. i'm unclear if your fresh install involved resyncing or .. so suggestions would be, starting with a rescanto rescan, open a command/terminal window, drag and drop the qt.exe onto it, then add -rescan should look somethin like c:\wherever\stronghands-qt.exe -rescan , or resyncing a quicker way of resyncying would be to use yr current chain as a bootstrap. basically you can rename the blk.xx file as bootstrap.dat and restart my general approach is to duplicate the entire data directory so you have an as is copy to fall back on, then rename blk0001.dat (or wahetever it's called) to bootstrap.dat delete everything else except wallet.dat stronghands.conf peers.dat leaves you with 4 files . bootstrap, wallet, conf and peers. then try restarting, it should then import the chain from the bootstrap rather than downloading, from experience, it can take quite a while depending on number of tx and height of chain, also it can stop before syncing fully with yon bootstrap, if this happens you can rename bootstrap.dat.old back to bootstrap.dat and restart.

whatever happens, I prefer Droidz it's a catchy name with no darknet implications and has value with it's connections to all those cute little bots everywhere ...

Hope your launch goes better than mine. I got people cheating by setting their clock ahead by a minute or two and preventing others from mining.
Yup, saw that.... we're investigating how to fix that in the code. interesting. Original Pascal did not have this problem? Or perhaps it's more that this feature wasn't evident until the network was far bigger?

At 5,7 billion SHND coins, my wallet doesnt want anymore startup. Any idea ? i think i did unlock the ultimate....
Greetz,
CYB
What do you mean by 'unlock the ultimate'? I too have issues opening the wallet now, it crashed after I tried sending an amount to Cryptopia, some error about exceeding the limit, and since then I can't open it anymore. Suggestions are welcome. You need to send less. When you stake, the inputs often get smaller and smaller until you have kazillllllions of 3coin inputs, which ends up meaning if you want to send even 5k coins, that will take over 1600 inputs which is far bigger than the allowed tx size. The easiest way around is to modify the source so staking combines all your inputs meaning you can send more coins in one go. I could be persuaded to help with that It would involve modifying code base and recompiling so it would take me a wee bit o' time as it were. (PM me )

I wonder when the first pool will appear, is the pool software openly available for everyone?
it's hard to find information in the Pascal thread, I recall there was a bounty for open source pool software so perhaps it's in there somewhere. of course gettin suprnova to add a pool would be easy as well https://twitter.com/SuprnovaPools

Cryptopia so far has not given me any grief, I support it !
Doesn't have general volume, but has shown a reasonable amount on occasional coins. Of course the sad truth is many coins on Yobit that show major volume are being heavily manipulated, and the volume is mostly false. Which is only good when you get to sell at the top.

tha'ts a terrible explorer? i cant see how to find anything that you don't already know the hash (or address) for. latest block is 29746 how do you even look at that block info? http://explorer.healthyworm.com/index.phpGreat bugs though

Had had lots of trouble with withdrawing from exchanges and not a big fan of Yobit. Anyone interested in selling pm me.
I've never had any problems with Cryptopia. They actually try to keep all their chains online

That mean our NEU has burned on bittrex it's fine to withdraw, just need some noise to draw the attention of another exchange.

I like the idea of selling bullion for silver coin, the pegging scenario is too fraught with difficulties, especially as you're giving it away ..

Is there a windows wallet download? Because I'd rather not keep my coins on an exchange. morning mate ... not for the current git - but only the one before ... we are trying to get the download backend sorted - as dropbox continues to lock out users due to 'too many requests' ... what a load of crap ... ill supply you the previous windows wallet ( this core does not have ALL the 25seednodes hardcoded ) if you want it ... btw - this thread will soon be locked - as all the projects will be posted on the cwi thread ... tanx ... #crysx Dropbox has dropped the box? in a sense - yup ... we are looking at a mega account ... but need to transfer ALL the files from dropbox to mega if it works - which takes time ... maybe just get the downloadables into mega for the time being - and then create a business account with them later ... #crysx You should have a look at the "release" section on github, easy to put all release versions of wallets on there . https://github.com/chrysophylax69/granite/releases

" This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Friday, January 27th 2017 unless the average daily trade volume for the last 14 days exceeds 0.5 BTC."
definite lack of user interest " This market did not meet the volume requirements and is being evaluated for delisting on January 28th, 2017. "

i just looked at the last 3 rewards, roughly 1.03, 1.01 and 1.03
which obviously is ramping up that % bigtime, maybe over 2000% for the individual stakes ??
however, when you look at over all coin supply with 5 minute block time giving around 105120 blocks per year and 269665 coins (current supply)
for an annual guesstimate based on current supply the static reward gives the addition of ~39% to the total supply as a fixed reward, this annual % will over time decrease as coin supply increases, the reward becomes a smaller ratio against total coins
so whilst, the individual stakes are receiving mad %, the total supply itself is not.

Thanx for reply. One more question: is staking working normally? I watch blockexplorer and we had 269 245 coins yesterday, 44% of all coins are staking. According to the shadule they get 8% annually(that is roughly 0,02% daily) this is about 2400 coins a day. But coin supply today is 269 474 coins(+229). So, does staking work? and does it work normally? Thanx again, wish success with bringing the coin to life again. stake reward is actually more than the annual 8% as there is also an addition of a static reward (+1) to each stake. each reward = 8% + fees + 1

Can we run v2 and v3 on the same laptop? Do they both use the same folder in roaming?
If the computer you copied purse is not in the default folder, then run the wallet need to -datadir setting in which to specify the name of the folder in which the file is wallet.dat. It is convenient to use shortcut window, in which the properties of an object in the field to specify -datadir option and the path to the folder. example: mojocoin-qt.exe -datadir=D:\MojoСoin it's also possible to use the command console, open it up, then drag and drop the Mojo qt onto it, then add -datadir=wherever to find the original datadirectory, open a window explorer, and type %appdata% the mojocoin directory should be in the roaming folder, i think this is true for all windows ??
