Maybe we can go with the cheaper fee if no sponsor or the higher one if we get one.
I'd have expected it to be the other way around: a cheaper fee if there is a sponsor or a higher one if there is none. But then again some will be willing to pay a higher fee if the prize pool is significantly high.

All things being equal, I will want a cheaper buy-in.

- Jay -

I guess that's what he meant to begin with, higher fee if no sponsor and lower if there is a sponsor...

I think we should be able to get a reasonable amount of participant since all other leagues will becoming to an end too, I'm sure at least 60% of the BSFL participants should be joining in.

------------------------------

I've sent my btc addy as requested for the prize payments.

Would not want to dwell on the dropped points at Villa and WestHam this season, cause it was a perfect season beyond that. 84 points last season, 5 better this season. With good signings in good positions we can better this season, maybe take that trip to Dubai a little earlier than we did  Grin

Great work from the lads. Come On You Goonerz.

Congratulations to City.

Can't blame you folks; it's not the ending you wanted, but the lads should be happy for pushing this indisputable Pep side back to back. Banter aside, If it hadn't been for Arsenal, Pep would have won the league back to back before May. As long as Pep remains in England, winning the league will be difficult. Proud of my team; it wasn't what we wanted, but finishing ahead of Manchester United and Newcastle united makes me want to dream again. I'm trusting Poch for another season.

Congratulations, Harkorede. That was quite a ride. Well deserved. Ending the season with nothing, but I liked every moment of it. See you next season.

Thanks mate, I'm sure there will be a lot to look forward to next season and I definitely will be brushing up my skills over the summer.

Withdrawal symptoms will be unavoidable in the (thankfully short) off season for BSFL. Cro2 shouldn't be allowed to rest.
What off-season? BSFL isn't stopping man Smiley As long as there are sports, questions will continue to come. It will run parallel to Last Man standing but will have other sports as well. Last Man is Euro only promo.

Good to hear  Wink Wink

-----------------------------

Another round with tough questions, I answered the questions last night and I have my draft saved already, but on getting back to submit today I changed more than half of my answers. I really don't what prompted the change to be honest, and I strongly hope it doesn't fire back at me come the end week.

The just concluded week probably is one of the times when I've look forward to the next BSFL weekly article  Grin Grin

Someone just came very close to winning $100K in a 6-6 free weekly prediction contest. They managed to get 5 out of 6 questions correct! It's incredible how close they were to hitting the main prize.

Is the person on this forum?

Wow. I don't think that person is familiar, must be just a regular gambler, we should steal them into bitcointalk Wink

IIRC the second prize is also very big actually so the guy must be happy anyway. And to mention, I scored 7/10 in the EPL Jackpot so I bet someone might have easily won 10/10 (10,000 USDT). @Harkorede made 10/10 correct predictions in Superbru, if he played the EPL Jackpot he would be a very very happy man!

Yeah, too bad for me, I didn't play the 6-6 or the EPL jackpot, it sure could have been my week for the season, because I literally would have gotten 10/10 from the EPL jackpot as my prediction would not have change and each of my expectation of all the matches were the outcomes... There was just a bit of real life activity that coincided with my complete online availability... Meanwhile, if I had known the cost implication, I sure would have ignored the real commitment at least for a day more. LOL! That'd have been some grand way to end the season for me  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It was a really good fight, glad that they have a rematch clause already in place.

All eyes turned to Klopp's farewell now, title race is finished anyway.

We have our 1st Cup semifinalist, congrats Ulven!
The other games are still really close Smiley

Your second semifinalist is saying Hi too Cool Cool

Congrats to Harkorede for winning the Round 38 Yellow Cap

What a round to come alive for me!

I have 10/10 for the game week and was also able to find my way into the top!

Great, Great, Great!!!

Congratulations to all winners, it's been one hell of a ride for 38 weeks, see you all next season Wink

The final 90 minutes is upon us!

I'm in need of a miracle to get back into fold of the top 10 players, it's a margin gap, but then the margin gaps also applies to those behind me too.

Enjoy the game fellas, and may the luckiest snow wins!

Man City scored already barely few minutes into the game, I sure that have probably taking away Arsenals hope, but there is still more 85 minutes to play for.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake curse strikes again, rapper loses on Fury, Usyk bet on: May 19, 2024, 08:02:25 AM
I would never follow a bet from him.
He is not famous in this role, he does not have a recognized track record, he does not provide analysis on his bets.

Are these real bets? likewise, does he actually use his money or does he have the possibility of having commercial agreements for the bets? as far as I remember, this aspect was never clarified, but it was only explained that he "sponsors" this bookmaker and no more.

Anyone following Drake's bet activities or tailing them are just point blank stupid because as far as I can tell the best Drake have reportedly disclosed publicly it only shows that he's just having fun gambling regardless of how much might be at stake, and most of his sport betting have come from an angle of support a party over the other, and not because of what the odds or chances of winning suggest.

That said, I think the bets are actually real, but then it could also be just publicity stunts and whatnot.

Stupid Lecce couldn't score a goal. Now I need Fury to win just to get to the penalties against cryptofrka. But I get it... Italian club, mafia... I guess that's just how stuff gets done in Italy.

I don't know how you thought you were winning this..

Finally a boxing match I'm looking forward to, I hope I'll manage to stay up. Fury's a slight favorite by the bookies but I feel Usyk's got this.

Yeah, and your feeling was right because Usyk won. I don't know what is so good in those fighting matches that people are looking forward. I never liked fighting sports, whether it's boxig, UFC or any other sport. That's why I went with Fury in this question and lost.

Anyhow, your assistant manager won't sleep with the fighting after all. Send me your wallet so I can send you BTC.

Fury losing have also left me at the mercy of Chelsea to win or draw to, or Newcastle dropping points for me to guarantee my win, while it's looking great, I'm really trying not to jinx it, because I've seen more twists and comeback on here in the final questions. And having team mafia on the side of Newcastle is something else to be extremely wary of, because, with them at play, there is nothing improbable Sad
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 19, 2024, 05:40:22 AM
Yesterday, the Pacers and Knicks missed countless shots in the first three to four minutes of each quarter, I thought it would go under but eventually, they picked up the pace and started landing their shots within 10-15 seconds of each possession to cash my over 215 bet.  Cheesy

On to the next match, i'll be on the Mavs spread (-3.5) since they have the advantage to end the series today, and the winning team usually wins by four or more points.

Edit: The Mavs failed to cover the spread, but what an intense finish. Shocked

That really was a close game to say the least, OKC had the game within their reach and was theirs to lose down the stretch in the 3rd and over midway into the 4th Quarter, but they paid the heavy price of double teaming Luka Doncic while every other Dallas Mavericks players were able to make much needed baskets and not so contested 3 and mid range shots. The better team went through imo.

Great! Great!! Great!!!

I'm finally one leg into the final 4, thanks to Atalanta's perfect victory win over Lecce, I'm glad to have dead the idea of picking BTTS for my answer there... Chelsea not losing that 6th place position is all that's left to make it official, or maybe Fury can also decide to help out and put me in position of not needing to wait until Chelsea's game to finalize my triumph.

to ensure that all participants submit their picks on time on the last matchday, here is the list of participants who have not yet made it:
Ha, this is the first time I wasn't tagged Smiley Managed to put my predictions a couple of minutes before your check.

Last GW, picks entered, special tactics employed. Nothing less then winning the round and climbing at least to 4th place will not please the board  Cool

Damn! I forgot about this. Saw the tag, but was out, device didn't have kicktipp credentials, and then too busy to do the necessary. Or, I couldn't be arsed enough to take away a potential freebet from one of you, who knows?

Good luck to you bastards, Leverkusen are two games away from immortality. Hoffenheim smacked Bayern one last time to give Stuttgart a nice end to the season. Bochum confirms the playoff so we aren't entirely finished with the season.

Still, see you bastards in a few months, hopefully.

So many twist and turns to end the season I kept checking the score and following each update, I climbed up to 4th position with around 25 minutes to, then different goals from different match start popping in, only for me to end up 9th on the leaderboard  Embarrassed

So much for holding a position for 8+ weeks and losing out on the final day  Sad Sad

I have also submitted my picks for the final round. last week was an awful one for me because I dropped a number of places and that was due to second guessing my instinct... I hope I can breaking pack into the top four, but it is going to be tough task, maybe a few risks I took will play out fine, if not it's going to be my personal biggest fumble in any pool.. I've never dropped out of a prized position with just 2 rounds left in any pool before.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 18, 2024, 07:52:03 AM
Who is betting live? It's a close game at Indianapolis so far. I don't usually do well on handicap betting but I'm still taking Pacers (-4.5) @1.8. Brunson shooting poorly in the first quarter which could be good for the Pacers and my bet but Siakam's two early fouls could pose trouble late in the game.

Aaron Nesmith have done an impressive job on keeping Brunson at bay for most of the entire first half in which Brunson scored only just 5 points, but it has been different story in 3rd quarter as Brunson put up 14 points. Heading into 4th quarter now with 13 points advantage to the Pacers. I think it's safe to already say the series is going all the way and we'll have a game 7! Of course except the Knicks are able to pull off something magical in 4th quarter.

Brunson shoots bad on the last 2 games on the road, but the Knicks have to play more defense on him as he is unstoppable at home. As predicted, the series reach a game 7 which is going to be fun and I don't see another blowout win from the home here. The spread itself would show that it's going to be a close one, I'll monitor the injury status of the Knicks roster,  if Hart will play, probably my play would be the Knicks.

Losing Josh Hart to injury will be a very huge problem for the Knicks, I strongly doubt that the Knicks can afford to lose another player, they are barely getting by with OG Anunoby absence, and Hart is the second heart of the Knicks defence and without him with OG also still sideline, they don't stand a chance to beat the Pacer even if the decider is being played at MSG wouldn't matter.

I feel like the Knicks are going to try and end things here so I feel pretty good about their odds to win +7.5.  After the Denver/Minnesota game I am a little worried the NBA wants to see a game 7, so I'm betting the maximum spread.  I don't want to push conspiracy theories or anything, but it sure seems like the NBA has a way of having things work out just how they want (So I bet against it.  I'm smart. lol)...

Indiana Pacers - New York Knicks
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
New York Knicks (7.5)

Odds
1.68

I also feel that way, New York Knicks should be able cover to the spread, and possibly even end the series here the best value for me would be the New York Knicks to win ML and that's currently valued @ 2.80 Odds on Sportsbet.io

Jalen Brunson would need to carry a lot of work load and heavy lifting, if they're going to end the series tonight, because of how they've been dismantled in game 3 and 4 at Indianapolis.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 17, 2024, 02:52:22 PM
Speaking of game 7, I would like the Dallas vs OKC and Pacers vs Knicks series to be extended to a game 7 as well.

I like the Knicks vs Pacers series but I don't want the Dallas to have a game 7, LOL.. sorry mate, I can't agree with you because I have a bet on the series, and it would be scary if the game will go back to OKC where the crowd will be supporting the young team in that game. Dallas should consider game 6 as their last game, they can't miss that opportunity, otherwise they'll have to handle a lot of pressure in game 7.

Crowd support is proven not effective on this series since they both kicking each other asses on the opponent home court.

I believe they are now countering each other strategy on every game so there’s a high chance that series with close game will probably extend to game 7 because they will just keep adjusting per game.

I will not be surprised if all the remaining matches on round 2 will be on game 7 since all of them has a tight match.

Yes, I guess the biggest test awaits OKC today and their chance of making history is facing its first challenge, which is a win on the road. Because to be the NBA champion you'll need to overcome certain hurdles especially the ability to win games on the road even when facing elimination.

I'm available for a sidebet if anyone is willing to take it Wink
