My team is getting a whole lot of rest this week, they finished the job too early and the extra resting days should keep them in a greater shape for the next fixture.

Who else is enjoying this Liverpool downfall? One more slip in the league and the title hope is gone. How was Jota performance? I need him in my FPL team so badly..

Maybe you're the only one enjoying the Liverpool's downfall, at least because you're a Chelsea fan and your club is literally done for, with barely have nothing to play for, so it's pretty much understandable.

Jota didn't play that much to be sure about his performance, but with little number of minutes he played for, he made some impact, created beautiful runs and spaces, he could have even gotten on the scoresheet, I'll prefer him to Nunez in the next few games if he stays fit.

"We don't lose at Anfield" Only to get smashed 3 at home - "We're winning the quadruple" only to end up with Carabao cup against 12th placed Chelsea is too funny man.. Salah should start learning Arabic.  Grin

I guess you're right about how cocky Liverpool can be about how much of a stronghold the Anfield is, and would I blame them ? No, because they were able to make a fortress off the stadium, especially whenever their 12th man is at a full force singing and intimidating almost any visiting team.

Milwaukee Bucks - Orlando Magic - Orlando Magic (-1.5)

Good luck everyone!

I'm going with Milwaukee Bucks ML @ 2.11.

GL!

Just as expected, Bobby Portis was a lethal weapon for the Bucks last night, along with Damian Lillard, they were a great force and too hot to handle for the Orlando Magic.

------

I just can't seem to lose any NBA this week, and I hope to keep the streak on tonight, I understand the Boston Celtics might rest a couple of their star players, however with how deep I think their roster is, I'm quite sure they should still be able to hold of the Knicks, and Pelicans against Sacramento Kings is another match up I'm interested in, I'll be going with Pelicans here too, they've won all the season series against Sacramento Kings including the In-season tournament to make it a 4-0 record for this season.

My picks;

Boston Celtics ML + New Orleans Pelicans ML @ 3.5 Odds

I expected the basketball game to be a blowout honestly, so going for the more than 9 points win was an easy pick for me.
+1, given the situation it was a no brainer. Efes is fighting for the playoff spot while Crvena Zvezda is playing for nothing really.
6 minutes before the end Efes has +44 so I think those of us who went for +10 can count that point  Smiley

Damn! Thanks for the information mate, I didn't even check the game or scores on flashscore, I was busy watching the tennis game between Holger Rune and Dimitrov.

Finally, I got a win the threat made to my team manager must have done the trick, good game man @Chi20...

Now, who's up next Huh

Well Andolu in Euroleague is winning by 14 points at the end of second quarter i try to curse them and hopefully they only win by a margin below 10 points, because if that not happen im GG in the round.

Come on red star belgrade, do something (but not so much).

After that we have in half an hour the start of Europe League and question 6 is gonna be determinated.

I expected the basketball game to be a blowout honestly, so going for the more than 9 points win was an easy pick for me.

The most important event for me was Medvedev losing to Karen Khachanov, that's got me even for that H2H question because my opponent was able to take advantage of the Alcaraz withdrawal, and I couldn't, but should the basketball game end with 10 or more points, then the round is definitely a win for me. I'm currently 2-0, I really could use this win after 2 consecutive losses.

IIRC I put some points on Barcelona today and I'm 99% sure that I have it on Atletico. Going to put some real money on Barca tonight, wouldn't say that PSG are looking so scary now. But I wouldn't be very disappointed with draw in away game.
Atletico - Dortmund, I predict that it will be typical Atletico game - defensive, low scoring and not the most beautiful to watch. I hope that I'm wrong.

Maybe I should have gone with too instead of Bayern Munich, I should have trusted my team more  Huh

I guess we'll seeing even larger odds for the second leg for the away sides, like Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, maybe I can savage something off it, but I doubt I still stand any chance in the pot b as well.

Milwaukee Bucks - Orlando Magic - Orlando Magic (-1.5)

Good luck everyone!

This is my favorite match up for the day, the rest either have too high spread or just aren't worth the risk in my opinion. The Bucks will be without Giannis for the reminder of the regular season, and that's why I'll be backing them against Orlando Magic tonight, Doc Rivers will tryout multiple approach on how to cope without Giannis, and Khris Middleton has also been rule out for the game, so it's going to be a bi test for the Bucks.

I'm going with Milwaukee Bucks ML @ 2.11.

GL!

I haven't checked the spreadsheet yet, but I just put on my TV to catch Tennis from Monte Carlo just to discover that Carlos Alcaraz pulled out of the tournament due to an injury, was this before the deadline and does anyone knew before they submitted their answers or used VAR for it ?

Well, I didn't and neither was aware that Carlitos pulled out, so my opponent with the advantage already if they knew.

Yup, it was known a few hours before the deadline. Some people waited for the news, 3 of them used VAR after the news broke out.
This turned out really well, those that paid attention now have a small advantage compared to their opponents. It might just save my ass in the end.

Damn! I checked, my opponent also took advantage of it. I really don't know what I was thinking but I didn't follow tennis yesterday at all and I submitted my picks since Monday and any of my picks wasn't at a risk of elimination before the deadline, that was why I didn't bother to check.

I'm glad to still have a point advantage anyways, I can only just hope Medvedev doesn't make the semi finals to restore parity on that question.

Freaking stupid Bayern Munich!!! They just really can't keep their shit together and nose clean, can they ? I went all in on this bunch of clowns and to be honest, after they had taken the 2-1 lead, I said, "Yeah, that was it!" to myself, little did I know they still got some shenanigans up their sleeves  Sad Sad Sad\

I guess I'm done with both pools now  Cry

Remember indeed Arsenal found Porto very hard, and this shows exactly what experience does.

It's true that experience does matter at this stage of the tournament, but I really don't see Bayern Munich squad any better than Arsenal's squad if we're to go down that experience path, there are just a very few players from the Bayern's squad that could be considered to be highly experienced for situation like this, and most of them cannot even secure their position/spot in the first team. So, their experience as far as this year's champions league is concerned is barely greater than zero, it's simply going to be a battle of will and who wants it more, not a battle of who is more experienced or have previously won it the most, it takes just one generation of a strong will individuals to break any life long record regardless of how high the bar has been raised or the standard that has been set prior.

@Harkorede Never played football he had no business in this discussion.  Cheesy

You have no idea mate, I don't play football very often and the last time I did would have been some 3-4 years ago, but trust mate I'm the last person you want to take on when it comes to 1 v 1 scoring from a long range or having a car tyre tied to a goal post and hitting the target, I can vividly the last time that happened with a couple of friends, I wasn't allowed to participate again  Cheesy

Im not gonna defend Nuñez because i dont like him so much but, in that play everyone who plays football knows is imposible to see Dominik coming from the center and that was a super pic stoped in the right moment, the super FAIL of nuñez was his shot, you CANT miss that shot being in TOP football.
Plus he is right footed so is imposible to took down a pass with the exterior or the feet, and with the left one..... is not his strength.

Let put it this way Darwin Nunez is an absolute shit, just a shit with huge potential, but how long will "just potentials" keep saving his ass ? Roberto Firminho before he left was still a better player than what Darwin is right (my personal opinion), so Nunez is duly deserving of any scape goat antics that comes his way, while speaking of the game against Man United, Mo Salah was an utter nuisance himself too, unnecessarily selfish when doesn't need to be, and was just as equally wasteful as Darwin, if not more.

Damn! You are very lucky that you hit that player props parlay because Anthony Davis was hurt during the 1st quarter and he never went back afterward. I can say this because I was watching the game and I also have props for Davis at 40 points + rebounds. Sadly, mine didn't hit because of that. It was unexpected but it's also part of the game and part of our betting risks. I think I had that kind of thing happen to me a lot of times now where a player is injured mid-game. It's better if they don't play at all because the bet will be voided.

Luck was indeed on my side for Anthony Davis to have completed those assists in quick succession before getting injured and nothing returning to the game.

I also had a bet on Purdue vs UConn, I had totally forgotten that the national finals was scheduled for today until about 30 minutes before the game when it was mentioned by Malika Andrews and Big Perk on the NBA Today show. I went with Uconn -4.5 handicap @ 2.0+ Odds and I was glad I did because they were indeed the better side, although Purdue indeed tried to keep up the pace and match UConn's offense, but they just couldn't.

20 submissions so far, which is actually quite a feat, considering. I'll send a reminder tomorrow for stragglers.

Anyone else feel Bayern has a chance at an upset? You know they've been outright favourites for many seasons until City this one.

I have submitted my pick already there is no logical reason not to submit early here imo.

Arsenal on paper are completely better than Bayern Munich right no, but it's football and you just never know, I'm going with a bet on Bayern win or draw @ 2.00 Odds, I think that's some decent value, if you ignore both teams recent performances.

Even though I like the bonus games I'm thinking of using my stakes to make prediction on the Arsenal-Bayern match. I'm happy to be in 5th position in Pot B right now. Because I'm quite bad on Superbru. I hope that I can manage to win a prize by finishing Pot B in top 10.

That makes two of us, I really need points from now until the end of the pool to stand any chance to secure a paid position, but the odds aren't much and would be a slow ride up the ladder.

Superbru is already lost cause as well, I'm just playing for the yellow on there for now, that's something still worth playing for.

In other news[1] Everton have been docked an additional two points, taking the total tally to 8 for the season. They are set to appeal the latest reduction

This is some kind of clownery, and the timing is such that it might be better if the initial decision on the 10-point penalty remained unchanged. In conditions where your position in the standings is constantly changing (regardless of you), it is probably difficult to maintain psychological stability.
But the main point of the clownery is that, as I understand it, those facts of violations by the City and Chelsea will never be considered.

Man City have 115 violations, yes ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN. There is a court date set for their trial next year but it’s not public yet. I think the reason it is taking so long with them is because how extensive their trial is. It is obviously a lot of hard work for the PL to gather all evidence and make it bulletproof.

Also Everton cooperated wth the investigation and their breaches. Man City have been delaying and not cooperating. I assume their penalties are going to be a lot more severe.

If they are found guilty it sure as hell will put a lot of jeopardy on their previously won titles, could there be a possibility of not just points deduction but also striping them of one or two titles if they had won multiple title during the years of these violation ?

That'd be some significant dent on Guardiola's Résumé with City.

With the Denver Nuggets beating the Atlanta Hawks yesterday, Nikola Jokic landed his 25th triple double of the season to join Westbrook and Sabonis with that many in a single season.
They look pretty strong and the bench seems to have been performing well in these past few games. Maybe they realize that they have to step up their games especially now that the playoffs are near. Crossing my fingers that no injuries will happen.

Here are my results for today game and some bonuses form player props same game multi.

Bonus!
No games later! Enjoy the rest day!

A day break is a much needed one for me this week for by the way, I still got a couple of things to handle and thankfully NBA will not be distraction for me tonight  Wink

With the looks of it, I believe everyone got some mini-break winnings and I felt the need to share my small winnings as well with our little NBA community.

It's actually been a long while I hit those 100-200+ Odds, and I hope to get another 1000x Odds like I did some time last season before the regular season ends.
