Ant getting 43 points on 59% shooting carried the Timberwolves tonight. If he keeps this up the Timberwolves go all the way.

That coupled with 1 steal and 2 blocked shots, he literally played 42 mins and had just 1 turnover despite being primarily guarded KCP all night long. The Timberwolves has everything that the Lakers lacked against the Denver Nuggets which is a team effort organized defense and the ability to stay oriented in a game for 48 minutes. If Timberwolves should get as opportunities as many the Lakers had with multiple double digits lead in each game before before fumbling it, this would be another 4-0 series sweep for the Wolves.

I’m watching this Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets game and Anthony Edwards looks like he’s trying to do something special. The Nuggets have battled back into the lead after being down huge in the first few minutes. It seems like Denver has the momentum now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Anthony Edwards ends this game with 50.

Opposite of Jamal Murray. In the last 1 minute of the 1st half, Jamal Murray is still scoreless. I'm not sure, but he looks like he's hurt right now. I placed some bets for him to score over 22 points, but I don't think it's going to happen. There's a great chance that Edwards can score 50 points tonight if the Nuggets don't change their defense; KCP can't handle Edwards. Maybe if Aaron Gordon guards Edwards and let them KAT play, lol.

Jamal Murray actually ended the first half scoreless, and that was his first career NBA playoffs scoreless half (according to one o the commentators) but then he's has since then found his mojo at beginning of the 2nd half, he's currently up to 15 points with a 5/13 and 2/4 behind the arc.

There is about 6+ minutes before the game ends, with the Timberwolves up by 3 points, this game could likely go down to the final shot, but Minnesota with quite a bit of foul troubles, KAT on the ropes here.

Ferrari finished in 1st palace , I didn't know how many points had so far
I think it's 31 points so far, for Ferrari, or 41?!!

No mate the main race is until tomorrow, and Ferrari still have 11 points in total so far, but they have a very strong chance of finishing well above 32 points for the grand total. The results you see so far is only for how they get to line up for the final race tomorrow which is
1. Verstappen - Red Bull, 2. Leclerc - Ferrari, 3. Sainz Jr. - Ferrari, 4. Pérez - Red Bull, 5. Norris - McLaren.

That said, anything is still possible and nothing is final until tomorrow.

Arsenal won 3-0 with a goal scored in 97th minute, that might be the one I'm losing already.
I wouldn't be so sure as Man City is leading 3-0 at the halftime and I doubt that it will stay like that considering the Wolves didn't park the bus.

Getting close to the win as at the moment I have 4-2 vs entebah and Barcelona is leading 2-1 vs Girona at the halftime meaning it could all be over before Sunday as there are only 2 questions left. I just hope that I didn't jinxed myself as I managed to loose seemingly won match earlier this season.

My own fixture has just only got started, now to get an edge or have it remain at a stalemate while awaiting the break through from Miami Grand Prix, I need Barcelona vs Girona to end with a Barcelona win and Under 3.5 goals or Barcelona not win at all, conflict of interest at its peak for me.

Edit:

Ferrari with a 2nd and 5th finish at the Sprint race, that's a total of 11 points so far, I guess that's some positivity to hold onto.

BVB is really known to be weak in important games Cheesy

But at least one German team playing in the final would be really nice.  Smiley

So good chances that they might screw up their next games?
For Dortmund, it's always possible to screw up important games.  Cheesy Cheesy

I'm rooting for Dortmund to win against PSG but it's quite possible to see PSG to advance.
Bookmakers have PSG to win at home against Dortmund at 1.50, so quite likely we'll see a PSG win or a PSG win and at least overtime or penalties.
A Dortmund win or draw, which would mean Dortmund is going to the final is at 2.50 currently.

With the first game at Borussia ending 1 Nil, There is a decent chance that the 2nd leg could end up a barren draw, right ? I mean that'd be such a massive hit for about the 6 of us who went for the 2nd leg to finish with 0 goals, and I think a couple of people went all 10 points in, that would be quite a paradigm shift that'd disrupt the POT B to a significant level, if I'm not mistaken.

@Hhampuz : Im currently 4-0 though but there are still 5 more question, Im hoping that this wont turn into an ugly reverse sweep for me

Should you find a way to lose now, you sure will go down in the history books of BSFL and I'm very sure you'll grab the headlines for Trofo's Article, are you sure you don't want to go down in the BSFL Hall Of Fame just for a 3 points sacrifice, not everyone get such shot at history you know Wink

I still need the Sixers to win later today to lock in my point in the NBA question since I don't see the Cavs beating the Magic in the other series.

Knicks vs 76ers has got to be the most interesting series of the first round if you ask me, so many swings, spins, twirls, twists and turns, you name it, there is nothing this series didn't offer, I also yearned for a game 7, but that probably would be unfair to NY Knicks they were the better team and duly deserve their spot in Eastern Conference semi-finals.

That's already 2 possible game 7 that have ended with the Indiana Pacers also getting past the Bucks, I really don't see the Cavaliers or the Mavericks series extending to a possible decider in game 7 with the way things have turned out today  Lips sealed

It sucks when you're supposedly having the round of your season so far, but then your opponent is also equal to the task  Sad

I'm currently 3/4 so far and I have perfect 4/4 in Europa League / Europa Conference question but I still can't get a breather or the smallest margin of advantage huh ??! Damn! Against other opponents I'll probably be looking forward to the next game round already with 3 points almost certainly in the bag  Sad

I don't know if you are Seinfeld fan, but if you are you might wanna try George's tactic that changed his life completely when he decided to do the exactly the opposite of what he would normally do. "If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right".  Grin

I actually tried this tactics because I simply couldn't win a round in this season. The problem with that tactic is that in majority of the questions we have more than two possible answers. That makes it difficult to go with the opposite of what you would normally pick because there are still two or three answers left.

From this logic your chances would still be better right ? I mean if we have 4 possible answers and what you would normally go for is wrong, then you're literally left with 2 wrong answers and 1 right answers, boosting your chances from the usual 0% for always being wrong or 25% technically to 33.333% which is pretty much a better odd than always being imo wrong Cheesy Cheesy

Sinner withdrew and Alcaraz lost his game, it's not looking bad.

This is however leaving 90% of the league in draw on that question, Sinner - Alcaraz was the major call, maybe with a little difference on who ends up with the trophy. But then there is just one user, I don't understand how come, if it was premeditated or just a random luck, he went with Medvedev vs Rublev for final, I doubt there is a chance either of them not making it to the finals.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 02, 2024, 05:36:52 AM
Whenever it is a blowout game in the playoffs, it's not entertaining to watch. Early 4th quarter garbage time with a 30 point + lead.
Well, given that the Miami Heat is short-handed in players, they could still play better than that. Their offense is off, defense ain't that good too, and that's not a recipe for a win. They just let Brown do his thing and scored without even a good resistance.
Last year's Miami Heat was better. They don't need a star to win a game with Max Struss, Martin, and Vincent all playing like it's the Finals.

Boston Celtics won the series and will advance to round 2 of the playoffs waiting for either Orlando Magic or the Cleveland Cavaliers. Both those two teams have a healthy roster so I wish they will give the Celtics a good fight.

Ya, both games were blowouts tonight but I felt like the Dallas game was at least somewhat close for the first three quarters. Luka Doncic had himself a night going for 35 points and 10 assists. I still don’t know how he does it but he manages to be the best player on the floor while also being the least athletic. The man has serious skills.

Luka Magic showing us yet again why and how he became the top scorer in the regular season, he completely shut down LA even on night when Kyrie Irving could get it going offensively, Doncic carried the team on his back again, I guess it's about time they put this series to bed in Texas.

Doncic for the night also become the joint 3rd NBA with the least how of playoffs game to reach 1,000 post season points, and he's just 25 years old!

Probably the best one yet for this season!

And also I got a mention, my team is feeling superfly and can't wait for the next round of the cup matches  Wink We're going all the way this time, we just need some of the Bayern and Real Madrid esque teams to eliminate each other first  Wink Grin

I guess if Orlando will manage to win their upcoming game and extend the series to a do-or-die game it will be a good long rest for Boston.

Good rest indeed, but I don't think the Miami Heat series took any significant toll on them enough to wear them out or exhaust them if the Magic vs Cleveland series doesn't get extended, I don't know if I'm reading too much into Celtics ball game, but then I really expect either team that make it off that series to do so better than what Miami Heat has done against this Celtics roster.

In for a penny, in for a pound... I'll never play at a casino or sportsbook which I can't complete KYC with if the needs arise, bar the need for privacy and whatnot, an honest players will have no issue whatsoever with an honest casino trying to ensure the safety of their business and customers compliance, that's my candid opinion.

PS: I've done KYC with a couple of Sportbooks even before playing there at all, simply because I'd rather be rejected from playing at the start than having issue along the way, and I've never had any problem whatsoever with them.

So you were waiting for the result between Alcaraz and Struff yesterday huh lol. I guess alot of people were waiting on that result as well and I was one of it as well then I had something to rush for so I put in Rublev to anticipate if Alcaraz lose against Struff which turned out to be a good decision after all. Now I just need Rublev to make it to the final to get a point against Hhampuz

And now Sinner withdrew. So it's a big ass draw question for maybe most of us?

I knew I should have gone Rublev. Goddamn top seeds.

I didn't watch Alcaraz play yesterday, but even If I did I strongly doubt I would have gone for the ticking time bomb Rublev, I most certainly would have just gone for players from the same bracket to go all the way, in this instance it would have been (Medvedev - Sinner) knowing that one of them should make the finals, of course there is no way to know that Sinner would withdraw... And if that doesn't work then you should try with your passport even if that's expired, and if that doesn't work then you should consider renewing your passport, i mean for $10k you should do what they want even if it's a pain in the ass.

Renewal of passports doesn't cost much, but you there are procedural steps to that as well which could make it take a few weeks (as far as I can tell from personal experience), and If the OP should go a few weeks without communication with the platform what's the assurance that his account wouldn't have been closed and funds confiscated if it they deem that he'd pass the timeline allowed for the verification process. I believe this should be one of those rare cases where a personal verification with a representative should be allowed since the OP had provided a valid means of evidence allowed within his jurisdiction and where he's supposedly playing for.

To be very honest, If I had not submitting my picks when I did very early into the day, I sure as hell would have missed out on submitting too simply because I had a bit of a day too, from completely power outage and extreme scarcity of fuel had me on my toes for the largest part of the day..

Damn it! Here we go - being seeing some signs and increase in pump price and shit like that. Lucky for me where I currently live is on Band B plan so the power is kinda good. We sell energy to most part of Africa and yet we don't have enough for ourselves. Lol. Fuckin hell. Nail me to the cross. ...  Grin

@Cls63 - welcome to the club buddy..... That's -1mBTC and -4 points. Oh boy ..

Bruh!

Yesterday I settled for N1,500 per litre on the black market just to keep up with the NBA playoffs overnight, there is no subsidization in play any longer and availability is still a huge problem, and multi-choice on the verge of choking the masses with another tariff increment, luckily for me, I'm on the NBA league pass so they can kiss my black behind for all I care. I'm currently putting all my weekly picks in early enough now to avoid stories that touch.

Real has a 1000 lives, but it isn't coincidental. It's been like this for far too long - they are ruthless in important games.

With Real Madrid I don't know if being ruthless is the right choice of words, but they always sure do grind out results, most of them they get totally outplayed but when it comes what actually matters which is the scores board, it more often than not ends up in their favor, be it deserving or not.

There still is an entire 90 minutes to play for, but I'll consider Real Madrid the heavy favorites after tonight's result.

Guys you can't imagine how sad I am for being late for my submission.  Sad  I have been in the countryside for a while and I have a really weak signal here so I can't use the internet comfortably. This cost me wasting a week in the league here. First the elimination from the cup and now this... I have been the leader in Division 1 but after this round I'm going to lose a big advantage. From now on I will do my best to make up for this week.

Damn, Sorry mate... I'm sure everyone in the league literally know you're not the type that doesn't take this serious, not especially when you're at the top of the league.

To be very honest, If I had not submitting my picks when I did very early into the day, I sure as hell would have missed out on submitting too simply because I had a bit of a day too, from completely power outage and extreme scarcity of fuel had me on my toes for the largest part of the day..

I guess we could have decided to call for leniency in some certain scenario and for unhabitual people, but then that would cause a whole new level of fiasco and controversies from those who have partially made it a habit.

As for the week, despite the wide range of possible result options, myself and Slissy have only 2 question differentials and that would be towards the end of the game week, we've both got almost all answers in common, including both H2H questions  Shocked

He's is low in ATP ranking list, he's been in the top 10 since 2005 and only dropped out last year simply because of the injury that kept him out for a really long time, and there was no way he's ATP points would have remained, so, in other words his low ranking isn't a factor decided by him playing terribly or losing his form, but rather not playing at all. Unlike other players around equal rankings currently as Nadal, Nadal will get to play every major grand slam this year, if he doesn't withdraw through injury or other reasons, and he wouldn't need to go through any qualifying phase for that.

Man should have retired while still clapping hard; I've always like it when people leave it at the clapping stage rather than waiting until they've lost everything before retiring. Tiger Woods, Alonso, and Hamilton were all monarchs, with the world at their feet. There is nothing else to watch about them now. They don't even interest me anymore...

Submitted answers - a must win round for me.

Yeah, I would agree with you, but with these sportsmen it's always a very tough decision to call it quit on a sports and passion they've dedicated all their to, It's not not really about the revenue but rather the joy they derive every time they step on the court to do their thing.

Speaking of free points; it seems I might have to protest on this, for 4 freaking seasons I've never gotten just a single one  Angry
