Meh, let's see where you will end, I still took home one yellow cap and reward for best yellow cap is still in my hands. 1/3 to be exact. So I have actually secured something in the pool I have no idea about and watched 10 minutes total this year while you still haven't and it is your home competition. Gonna take a bit more.
Man, there is no home advantage in the CS prediction pool; if there was, I and Harkorede would be vying for the crown right now because we are both from the same region. You're attempting to severely undermine my efforts. When I was at my lowest point, you were talking down on my team; now that I'm on top, you're still talking down. Give credit when it's due. Rooting for your Nigeria today since I have them on a ticket. So you know who to blame when they drop out on penalties.
Hit exact score on this one - Thank you VAR. VAR deprived me of the exact score on that one, so you could really thank VAR, but If it was a Chelsea's disallowed goal or imaginary penalty, we would not hear the last of it, because it as though every team in the EPL are rich enough and can afford to bribe the officials or have the FA make regulations in their favour, except for the team that have reportedly spent over €1 billion over two transfer windows, such an irony. ------------------- Back to AFCON, I'm sure every knows already how much of an anomaly this tournament has been, being from Africa doesn't offer the slightest of advantage as far as the SuperBRU pool is concerned.

Going triple Manchester city assets (KDB, Halaand and Alvarez) means having no Salah. Big call for me.
Not having Salah is no biggy in my opinion, he's supposedly picked up a minor injury from AFCON, and after such a shitty display at AFCON you don't expect him to be fully back to 100% in just a space days, It's certain he'd miss this game week, so there is still a lot of time to make other if either City assets isn't worth it. I'll likely be leaving Salah on the waiver wire for now, at for two game weeks, possibly until after Liverpool's blank.

There goes the saying, One day you're the cock of the walk, then next a feather duster. Can you imagine, I was here a couple of days earlier talking about who's missed quite a number of round, and I could have sworn that I had made my picks earlier into the week, but because we had a midweek round, I totally forgot there could be a Friday fixture or I had done them all along. The is point crying over spilled milk now, I probably would had Dortmund on 2-1 or 2-0 victory, so should anything otherwise happen in this game, then there is no point lost for me, I'd guess. Thanks for the heads up Same. About 30 minutes later I saw (in the list of live games) that Dortmund was already playing and remembered that today was Friday, so some games could already take place. Thank God Dortmund lost points, so we can assume that not many people bet on this, and certainly not those at the top of the table (after all, favorites win more often than outsiders). Therefore, this forecast pass was “free” for me. Yeah, that makes two of us, as I've said earlier Dortmund dropping points would mean the most for me as not would be able to capitalize on that, and they did, however, someone from the pool did get the draw prediction right, they went with 1-1 and got 3 points off that and just as the person name suggest "goodpunt", lol. snip
If you forgot about making predictions in BSFL like me the consequences would have been much heavier. On top of that you didn't lose anything because the Dortmund match ended 0-0. Yes, complete disaster averted for me on that... I strongly doubt I would forget about making my picks in BSFL though, but to err is human, right!

The worst part is, maybe the points who makes the diference are gonna be from the all stars game. Where is pure luck and anything can happen, a pure coin toss.
Could be the Arsenal - LFC game. I have Nunez to contribute, you don't, and it's the only different answer. The news are that he's a major doubt for the game, if he doesn't play I'm losing that one. His leg was swollen after the last game, Sunday's getting closer. I'm sure he'll want to play, so I'm hoping he gets the green light. Wait, am I the one who feels this is probably the first round where we didn't have pretty much anything to engage on over the midweek, and all the questions are going to be having tomorrow and Sundays, seems pretty weird to me for as long as have been here there is always at least one result getting settle every other day and the perhaps just 3-4 left for Saturday and Sunday, you Cro team decided to have everyone so nervy all weekend long don't ya ? It's going to be a long ass weekend, 7 freaking questions over 2 days fam

in less than 10 hours the match heidenheim vs. dortmund will start and thus also the 20th matchday in the bundesliga to make sure that everyone submits their picks in time, i'm now sending the weekly reminder to the following users who haven't submitted anything yet: don't hesitate and don't let casperBGD get away from us There goes the saying, One day you're the cock of the walk, then next a feather duster. Can you imagine, I was here a couple of days earlier talking about who's missed quite a number of round, and I could have sworn that I had made my picks earlier into the week, but because we had a midweek round, I totally forgot there could be a Friday fixture or I had done them all along. Utah Jazz VS Philadelphia 76ers
The stake odds for this game are 1.56 for the Utah Jazz and 2.50 for the Philadelphia 76ers, right now the Utah Jazz Doesn't Have any injuries, while Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris, and Tyrese Maxey are all questionable if they can play for the 76ers, Joel Embiid, De'Anthony Melton, Robert Covington, and Kenneth Lofton Jr. all can not play for the Philadelphia 76ers, now no Joel Embiid for the 76ers means it is big trouble getting a match against the Utah Jazz right now and we all know what the Utah Jazz is capable in doing now and without Joel Embiid means this is a win for the Utah Jazz so my pick is the Utah Jazz I don't know what Tyrese Maxey was on today, but whatever the hell that was, it was monster game from him literally single handle carried the 76ers on his shoulder, and there is no way they could have won today's match without, to be very honest. He dropped 18 points in the first quarter alone with a 6 of 6 from behind the arc, and 51 points in total for the game, little wonder as to why they're calling him the imminent face of the franchise, because he's hooping at the topmost tier level, no doubt, for a lad that's just 23 years, and a whole career ahead of him.

I'm sure if Alvarez were to be classified a midfield in the FPL not as many people would trying to be rid of him, but you can only have a maximum of 3 forwards, and Alvarez for crying out loud is the 2nd or 3rd highest point scoring FW in the FPL, but most people would like to have a possible trio of Toney, Watkins and Haaland, not a bad combo honestly because you can be almost certain to get some returns from at least one of them weekly.
Meanwhile in my opinion with Alvarez's form, I don't think Guardiola would just throwing him under the bus immediately as Alvarez have shown that he could play any upfront, on the flank and even behind the striker but that's where De Bruyne comes, It's really a complicated scenario, more so because you can only have a maximum of 3 Man City players.
------------------------------------
Not a bad week in general for me as I was able to score well above the every and except for my backline, every of my other outfield players yielded a positive return, If I can remain this slow but steady, then I'm sure the season just isn't over for me yet.

If I wasn't scrapping for relegation, I'd have picked 3+. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut.
Yeah, I'm not scrapping for relegation but I've also got a real shot at 1st 2nd position with every top ranked player playing against each, I literally had 3+ too but changed it before submitting, simply because I was trying to err on the side of caution of caution and not be chasing these points in an overly aggressive manner, I hope it doesn't come back to haunt me for this week. Chelsea are just a bunch joke this season, I mean is anyone seeing Ian performing quite well enough for Dortmund, while Chelsea are still lacking stable full backs, they've sent out a great prospect that could be of uttermost importance down the stretch of the league.

It's just one a 1:0 so far between myself and LTU_Btc, to my advantage btw, however, our teams are both firing blanks from close range, this likely might just a very low scoring game, giving off some Atletico Madrid vs Sevilla vibe. I so badly need to cling on this minimal advantage until the very end, I have 4 users breathing down my neck, and at the same I also have 4 users ahead of me that can't afford to slip, this is going to some weird and interesting week.

I feel so undone by my choice of captain this week, I had three Man City players Foden, Alvarez, and De Bruyne, but I couldn't make the right captaincy choice and went for KDB, my hunch was on Alvarez this whole time, but I felt he could be the scapegoat for Haaland apparent return and get a smaller playing time even though I was sure he'd start.
Decisions might get back to being a tough one, so many players are getting back Maddison already is, and in a couple of game weeks we'll be getting player on international duty, One of the biggest problem would involve solving which midfield combinations to use.

Liverpool just scored their 2nd goal so I just need them now to hold this 2 goal until full time to get my 1st point on this round. statistically, Liverpool is butchering Chelsea right now so huge chance that there could be extra goal after this one
I had them on 3+ initially but changed my mind later and went 0-1 because I thought Chelsea's defense have improved for the better, I don't know how I could have been that naďve man, but now I'm hoping it doesn't remain 2 goals because that what my opponent has got, If only Darwin Useless had no missed that spot kick, would have been over with already

You must be mistaken, I didn't get any 9 points free from wake over. Matter of fact, I won my due against Kanapka 6:3. You can check it there.
Round 1 - walkover vs Saint-loup. Round 3 - walkover vs bullrun2020bro That's 6, with additional 3 against Kanapka it will be 9 total. Same as Trofo if I counted correctly. For my entire 3 seasons so far, I don't think I've ever been privilege to get such freebies, I'll likely be 1st-2nd place by now, If had gotten such freebies too, although it depends on if those who gave the walkover aren't fixture I won regardless. I'd usually say I'll rather my fail with honor, than succeed without it, but in this case getting 3 points from an opponent not submitting their picks is not dishonorable, so you lots should feel free to toss it my way too Such a shame slackovic, sorry 'bout that! I think you still submit your pick now, If it's still opened at least, that way you'll find close if mitch was going to win the round anyways.

Still didn’t manage to buy E. Haaland, sure we would be seeing him in this GW? I’ll be watching but, his sure to have his return on my team in the weeks to come, I think.
I didn't get Haaland back yet either at least not for the current game week, I'll probably stick to that plan even after this game to be sure he's very fit and Guardiola would not be having him on heavy minutes rotation, it probably takes less than 30 minutes on a good day for Haaland to make his significant mark, so coming off or going to the bench early might not really matter, I just want to be sure he's pretty much okay now and wouldn't be returning to the sidelines after just a game or two. Salah should be back in England soon right ? and could be up for the game against Arsenal on Sunday right ?

I didn't expect this to happen to me twice. First time with mv1986 now happened to slackovic too. There are few matches left, but slackovic couldn't take advantage of this opportunity to get points and avoid relegation. That's quite a bummer for us vying for a better position on the table, though, since there is only a 3 points difference between 9th and 5th position and you supposedly get a free pass Slackovic have been consistent and those 3 points would have been very valuable to himself too (If he could get it, but you can't win if you don't play), I'm convinced there must have been some reasonable for him being unable to submit his answers, I mean some who took part in the free week with a friendly against Trofo, it doesn't make much sense that he just supposedly forgot about the deadline, I hope he's alright, though!

I only took the early advantage against LTU because Newcastle won against Aston Villa, I felt Newcastle or draw was the better choice than an outright win on Aston Villa while I'd have still need to figure out whether or not to go with Watkins getting on the scoresheet or not, that's a tough one, although my expectation was just a 1-1 at the very least, not some complete blowout win away from home for an injury ravaged Newcastle side.

a short info to the matchday winners casperBGD (gw #19) and CLS63, Harkorede and Ulven (gw #13) your free bets will be credited to your sportsbet.io accounts today
I would also like to say thanks for the free bet. I tried my luck on a German tennis player as I won the free bet from the Bundesliga and I won. I hope that I can be this lucky on my future bets as well. Congratulations! I was also able to get a win with my freebet as well, I had it on a small betbuilder on the Arsenal vs Nottingham Forrest match, my bet was on the line already, I however got my arse saved by 93rd minute corner kick awarded to Nottingham, as a total of 2+ corners from the host was I needed left to win my bet.

but South Africa is playing some solid football so far
And they've got a solid reward for it, with a 1 goal lead, but can they keep their nerves and shit together for the remaining 13 minutes plus stoppage time left in this game. It's going to be quite a major upset if they do, and I'd be glad because it's going to be an extra advantage for Nigeria, because I'd rather Nigeria face South Africa in the semi finals, if we make it past Angola than play against Morocco. EDIT: That didn't take long after my post, Morocco have got themselves a redemption chance from the penalty spot EDIT 2: Hakimi has blown the chabce!!! Damn, now it's South Africa's game to lose!

Here we go, now is a highway to championship for Ivory Coast, like ige said when you have this luck..... is difficult to stop them, is what we call the "luck of champion".
Yes, agreed. Sometimes this kind of rush is just all continuing until the end. Currently in Asia Cup Tajikistan is having the same craziness going on. First time in the tournament and now into the last 8, defeating big guys on big luck! But also on big play too so full respect. GL to Ivory Coast supporters!! I don't want to take anything away from the Ivorians efforts last night but If they had not conceded that goal very early, they likely would have had much to play for or come all out aggressively, I strongly doubt they stand a chance to win the by any stretch to be honest. ---------------------- Hey, hey, hey. Burkina Faso wasn't as bad as suggested, but they really had to get this game started, didn't they, with that own goal. And for a long time our league leader was going to extend his lead at 1-0 but just a few mistakes and a penalty ensures I very happily claim the top -- don't care if it's only going to be for a while. Finally #1 somewhere this season. I'll savour the short-lived moment, if that's what it ends up to be!
Mali! Mali! I really don't know what's up with African countries when they concede early into a game, It's often almost is as though that's the end, but getting better goal per match ratio is something I didn't expect, I believe the ratio is still well above 2.5 goals, if I'm not mistaken.
