The space evolved a lot and so did the ICO market. We noticed that there is a bearmarket (hard to ignore). That started after we started the company and roadmap.
And with the STO market comming up the ICO market will probably even decrease more now people can receive dividends etc.
Our project roadmap is one thing creating an insane platform that is innovative and ready for the future. But we listen to the community and the crypto environment.
And it's telling us crypto dont want more ICO's maybe in another bullmarket the frenzy will be back, but not now.
That's why we're super proud to announce that we cancelled the ICO. And planning on a fair launch this will help improvepartnership deals in the future. No regulation problems in the future
(although we have super lawyers, how some countries will handle ICO's in the future is unknown). And proof people we're not a scam, but a true project.
This will open a lot new doors for us and this means also for you all!
We will start with a simple POW for the token distribution and will evolve into our own DPOS chain in the future. We will use the dpos system to also increase the data distribution and speed of the complete
Virtual world. This gives nodes a great incentive to run extra nodes that help the ecosystem.
We will soon have an announcement to explain our thoughts and ways we would like to proceed in the future.

Ok, so this will skip the erc20 placeholder phase. What are the specs on the coin now? Will you fund it with premine? What algorithm are you going to use etc? Well we still will need a swap from the POW > DPOS, The specs and algo will be released soon with more information. There will be no Premine, but probably a small block reward going to the company. Do you keep track with what your crypto competitors are doing? I know there has been some other projects but i didnt see much happening last year in this field. Maybe you could learn from their mistakes and make sure you are prepared for some common issues.
Learning from the mistakes of the competitors is always the ideal way. However, I think their competitors were a bit quiet last year, because VR projects in general all need more time to shine. Crypto adoption needs time and virtual reality is still not as wide spread as e.g. PC or smart phones. I think your wrong here our competitor had a great year, beside losing value cause of the bear market they sold last December for about 6 million dollar virtual land. But we think we have a land system that can cause much more adoption. We learned from other projects mistakes and improved the concept. |

Is Cosmos name is a mere coincident or there is some kind of partnership with HTC?
I guess it is just a coincidence but also a perfect opportunity for a partnership if you ask me.  unfortunately i think it's a simple coincidence but i think it would be a good partnership from which both companies would benefit... I highly doubt that they could get a partnership with HTC but they can maybe get some agreement to sell this headset on their platform, there will be a lot of users who will need VR set and why not use this opportunity. I agree, making partnership with companies like HTC is nearly impossible at this point. Also selling headsets, don't think that would be a good idea. You can try to be good in everything and get fast distracted from your main Goal. We wont do this, future is always open! |

Maybe it could happen in the future so that if they could deliver this platform asap, then they could offer a value proposition to HTC to consider any kind of partnership. Imho.

We didnt stole the name for sure our company is registered luckly way before they announced anything about this. It's more a case of great minds think alike *insert cheap meme here*  Hehe, nice match, but i would expect VR sets to get cheaper soon not more expensive. This thing will probably cost more than 600 $ which is the price of a decent PC and i wouldnt even consider paying that much for VR glasses. Hope there will be some quality and affordable sets in he future. Well yea its not cheap the progress is slow but steady, cool feature it works on the PC and Mobile, so you can take it everywhere, no needed sensors. Nope we dont want that for sure. yeah, creativity keeps people using the virtual world. Sometimes you just want to build something for hours. Yea i remember the old days with Simcity ,Rollercoaster Tycoon, Anno 1902 and Age of Empires. I dont play a lot games anymore, cause i have almost no free time . Yea for sure this will be possible, people can make own creations in programs like Blender. And import it in our platform. We will also make predesigned models, but the cool aspect of the project that people can make their own designs, models. Cool, i have just been practising blender (waiting for the new version) and cinema 4d. I am excited to see what's possible in Cosmos Cool well plan opening parts of the SDK as soon as possible and people can actually already start learning Blender to be able to create when the time is there. And how much experience is needed to create my own 3D model? Because I have never worked with such a programm before, so will it be possible for me to create something that I can use in CosmosCR or do I have to stick to the predesigned models? Yea Blender is for free, you will need some experience for example its important to know how to make proper models (keep it small in poly's, set the centrepoint on the right location) This need practice, but this aint hard its actually a lot fun. We will reward people for making guides from the non profit foundation funds (small rewards, but it helps the growth) |

I felt like this announce was coming  I asked and a day later announcement. Great news also 2 months is a accaptable period. Hope you best of luck Yea and the patience people are rewarded fairly for this. We added a bonus that is really interresting. For every 5 Eth investment you get a free land parcel. So lets say someone invest 20 Eth he will get 4 free land titels. The land titels will have a prime location cause they will be distributed to the ICO particpants before the public sale start (yea we reward our ICO investors). Now lets compare that another project like decentraland their cheapest land parcels (outskirts) are 10k tokens atm. And their prime locations cost between 100k to millions of tokens. price per token = 0.04$ atm (yea bitcoin dropped again *sigh*) Their prime locations for land parcels are (100k*0,04$) approx 4000$ each (cheapest). I wonder if next month is already good for crypto but if they have the capability to outshine the others, why not? Very hard to get loyal supporters in this kind of community. If I create a 3D-car and want to sell it in the store, can sombody buy it, copy it and sell it again in his own store? Or can the NFT prevent this? Good that you mentioned this well if you do it as a NFT he wont be able to just copy it. We're working on some solutions that will protect people their models and are certain we will solve this, we dont want people to create something cool and your neighbor can just copy it. This is a general problem with shared data. |

Let's now hope that the general sentiment of the ICO investors changes until February. Seems like all ICOs have difficulties right now to raise money. It was probably already asked but do you have a plan B if you don't reach your softcap? Yea it's sad, many ICO's where unresponsible with their ICO funds (call it greed or bad Money management) Now they are struggling to stay alive. Thats why we pref to raise money when the total market is low. Our token/coin will have a much brighter future. As you all can see because of the delay we could prepair better and make much better plans and that made it possible to lower our minimum to 10000 ETH sounds like a lot, but its a total of 1,3m $ at this point. Ofcourse we keep our fingers crossed! And Yes we have a plan B, but than it have to start more centralized and decentralized over time. Thats not our goal and should not be a goal in crypto at all.
