Clearly this scammer must go. $10,000 for his info. But $50,000 when he is jailed for his crimes.

This is like the 4th goat related post I've seen scanning through the unread posts, who is this guy? I mean if he did something this heinous, wouldn't he have been banned from the forums by now? I don't know the full story so excuse me, I have no idea what's going on, but I don't usually make informed decisions until I know all the facts.
He was banned. Not sure why they let him back... Basically the short version of the story is this. Goat made up several businesses to raise a ton of BTC from duped investors. Some of those businesses include a nonexistent arbitrage bot, a mining company that had no mining equipment, and a rice patty field in a 3rd world country (I missed a few but these were the most outrageous)... He then took all the raised BTC and dumped it into a ponzi scheme. He made a small fortune from this, and then when the ponzi collapsed, all of his businesses suddenly stopped and investors ate the loss. He then tried to stir up as much trouble as he could, to try and make it look like the exchange did something wrong. He is still trying to pin this blame on the exchange even after others were able to migrate with no issues whatsoever. No matter that he was selling investments that did not exist... Falsely issuing securities of nonexistent companies to divert investor funds into a ponzi scheme for his own gain while leaving them all the risk. That is Goat.TL;DR 1. Raise Bitcoin from investors pretending to offer multiple safe investments. 2. Invest everything in the riskiest thing possible. 3. Keep all the dividends from risky investment. 4. When investment goes bad, say businesses fail and blame the exchange. 5. Buy a Bugatti  Ask theymos! |

By the way, an automobile is a depreciating asset. You traded Bitcoin for a depreciating asset? That seems foolish.
In time, this will be as bad as the 10,000 BTC pizza...
How about a Mercedes 300SL? When the alternative's inflation the right car can be a bloody good investment (with proper storage). Goat would likely have been better off holding onto the coins instead of buying the lambo but he's likely to be better off with that and this thing than with dollars in the bank. i might have spent .05 percent of my crypto in a bad way, how sad. edit i own a sl 500 mec and have no idea about the claims |

That doesn't make any sense to me.
Then again I've only been here on and off since 2011, many people probably have had a larger experience with things like this and know the ins and outs. I'm just a simple dude who doesn't have very much experience or knowledge with btc.

Hey Goat, time to diversify Ltc into Drk before the other whales.  i have been diversifying LTC into BTC or houses/lambos for a while now. DRK? No don't think so.... anyway HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODL CCMF! Privacy will be a factor and neither Btc or Ltc will implement it. You and I both know it. if only DRK did that i would be all over it. you are seeing the pump, just wait for the dump. So what if it's pumped? Still way undervalued relative to Ltc. If the big guys start moving out of Ltc, there will be some pretty big bagholders there. And we have a brand new delusional DRK thread... the mods will remove alt coin trolling. |
