You know these are overpriced at $6000. For a little over $6K we'll be able to get 2 TB from bitmain. They will likely lower prices too.
At 6K the hardware break even point is 88 days (for the cointerra unit)

I originally voted against liquidation but I am inclined to change my vote (given the recent "mathing" - which though I haven't verified, looks legit). Garr, Sam, if you have a counter-argument to "300BTC versus 50BTC", you should post it now, or expect a flood of vote changing. =/

Since when does PayPal = scammer? PayPal is a highly trusted service for purchasing goods as it offers the buyer and seller both protection. It's not like you are selling BTC here...just a laptop right? Or is it loaded with BTC?  Just trying to understand your logic behind "PayPal = Scammer". Thanks  |

The only people who want to liquidate are the ones who bought all their shares at ฿0.002
I am the only one who sold at .002 BTC and i bought most of my shares in the .6 to 1 BTC range. We do not like taking this loss but clearly with Garret running this show it is best to get back what we can from the units. The math does not lie. There are also other options that some of us are taking to get some of the funds back as well, and really you don't want Garr having control over your BTC when that stuff hits. And anyway like it or not, Garr had a vote and the vast majority have voted for liquidation. It needs to happen now. |
