21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 13, 2024, 10:22:07 PM
It is very possible that gambling can lead to domestic violence because there are sometimes when you are on the verge of winning a gambling game, and before you know it,you've gotten lose, and maybe you placed a high stake on the game,it is worth making someone very angry.
If this has happened to you,and you have a  wife at home,if she makes you angry or adds her own problem, you might be tempted to lay your hands on her,but it all depends on people,a hot tempered person will easily hit his woman, but a responsible man will still overlook things.
That's the hard reality. We can experience it ourselves, because gambling is closely connected to emotions. We have different thinking, and the outcome isn't in favor of our choice, resulting in a loss. Further, we don't have money to try to recover what has been lost. Different thoughts will circulate in our minds, and anything said by our close ones or someone on the way back home will surely end in some sort of problem. This happens, and for the same reason, we need to be very cautious after a loss.

Singapore woman vs Myanmar woman
One off the tournament match 14 has been completed between Singapore woman and Myanmar woman . This was a very low score  match . Myanmar woman by 5 wickets , Myanmar  woman preformed very well and complete the run target of Singapore woman in 14 overs. Myanmar woman palyed  well in both of  side batting and bowling , in bowling side of Myanmar woman Z Kyaw took 3 wickets by giving 17 run in 3 overs and L L Htun  and S .Y. W also took 1' 1 wickets.
Singapore Women squad lost this match very badly from Myanmar Women squad because Singapore Women squad was not displayed good performance first in batting inning and Singapore Women squad collected 87 scores after playing 20 overs with lost of all batter wickets which seem that this defeating target was very low quality.
You said correctly , Singapore woman could not perform properly, perhaps due to batting first they did not perform properly.
It often happens that some teams lose because of batting first.  This thinking is wrong, but when you think you are stronger than others, you give him the first chance to see your ability, so Singaporean women may not perform well because of that.
The Singapore women's team's performance is not that good. In most of the matches, they scored less than 100 runs, whether they batted first or chased second. Particularly against the Myanmar women's team, they hadn't crossed 100 runs in any of the matches. Last year, both teams played a 3-match T20 series, and the Singapore women's team batted first and scored 77, 63, and 51 runs and lost every match.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler lost what he couldn't afford to lost and broke his TV after game Lost on: February 12, 2024, 11:33:46 PM
This is common, luck is not in his favor. It is really hard to control emotion in his situation because he has opted for a small win, going for the lowest odds, which means the winning chance is high. When the same thing doesn't happen and things go out of his prediction, the mind automatically loses control. More importantly, he had bet a large amount out of his confidence, and the same had made him lose big. This is really painful, and regretting after losing is common, and this serves as a lesson for everyone who goes through this situation.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2024, 11:26:30 PM
We knew that West Indies team is strong in T20 format. West  Indies did not play well in  ODI series. So we expected the team to play well against Australia in T20 format. Although  the West Indies batsmen batted well against Australia in both  the matches, their bowling was weak. Australia  would not have been able to score a  massive 241 runs if the West Indies bowlers  had bowled a bit more controlled. The  performance of the West Indies bowlers was so bad that they lost both the matches. Even  in the ODI series, the West Indies lost due to poor bowling.

West Indies team is not strong in any format of cricket. They failed to qualify for the men's world cup that was held last year. This new team that is touring Australia looks promising but they can't be termed as strong. Australia currently is one of the best team in T20 format and the reason they were able to get 241 runs was due to Maxwell. If he hadn't played se well then this new West Indies team would have given a good competition. Actually 242 runs for chase is not possible in T20 cricket unless all batters play exceptionally well or a batter does like Maxwell did yesterday.
The West Indies team isn't strong, but they used to give unexpected performances. The team had lost its 5th wicket at 65 runs, and from there they've reached the score of 207 runs, which is really great in my view. It is really hard to chase a target of 241 runs in T20 cricket. The winning credit goes to Maxwell for his 120* runs out of 55 balls. In both the T20 matches, the West Indies played well, though they weren't able to win. In the first match, it was a loss by 11 runs.

~snip~

Currently a lot of matches are going on in the Qatar open. A lot of matches are also going to start very soon. This is the round of 64. And as this is the women's singles, I am expecting a lot of surprises in this tournament.

Swiatek has a match in the round of 32 which will be played today and I don't think it is going to be a big problem for her. She should be able to win the match without too many problems. I can definitely see her playing in the finals. But as I said, it is the women's competition. So unexpected things can happen on a regular basis.

I think that Sinner will do very well in this tournament. He is expected to do well. Even though some players who could be very good competition for him or not playing, it will still be hard. But he definitely has the capability as well.
In the women singles Qatar Open, several matches have been completed in the round of 64 and only 2 matches remain to be completely finished and advance to the round of 32 tomorrow.
But this is championship that many people may not really participate in because women tennis is still not as popular as men tennis, maybe some tennis fans can find more interesting matches in men tennis.
It just that in this championship I quite interested in the Navarro vs Mertens match because they are two players who are capable of meeting directly in the round of 16, I looking forward to which of them will lose and who will have the right to advance to the next round.

Swiatek will meet Cirstea and this match will start the match for the round of 32, I also think she will not have any problems that could affect the game.
If you don't experience the slightest problem then it is clear that Swiatek is the favorite and has the chance to win.

Naomi Osaka has just defeated Garcia 7:5, 6:4. Nice play by 3 time GS champion!

Swiatek v Cirstea starting in a moment! Perhaps high time to place your late bet?

On ATP tour, apart from Rotterdam tournament, we have at least 2 more spectacular tournaments going on this week: Delray Beach and Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires top seeds are Alcaraz and Norrie. In Delray Beach mostly US players: Taylor Fritz, Tiafoe and Paul. This is going to be fun!
Swiatek have won the match against Cirstea in direct sets in a much more comfortable manner, 6-1 6-1. After losing against Noskova in the Australian Open 6-3 3-6 4-6 this tournament seems to be favorable for Swiatek. Buenos Aires is going to be interesting as Alcaraz won it against Norrie 6-3 7-5 in 2023, and within a week, Norrie won the Rio final against Alcaraz 5-7 6-4 7-5.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: February 12, 2024, 11:00:05 PM
Women and men, I think it's the same. It's just a matter of perception. Both of them can think logically, can determine priorities, can be emotional and can be affected mentally. There is nothing special about either of them, especially when it comes to gambling. Gambling can change anyone's way of thinking logically, emotionally, mentally and so on. We know that both women and men each have their own top gambling players and this cannot be compared because each individual's capacity is definitely different.
I agree with the statement that when it comes to gambling, it is all about the emotions that cause a person to continue his gambling activities or take a break. I believe women are good managers and have the ability to restrict themselves within the limit, whereas men don't follow it. This naturally makes women better gamblers than men. I would also like to add that this doesn't suit every woman or man. There will be exceptions, and the majority of women won't risk beyond their limits.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: February 12, 2024, 10:54:20 PM
I believe that the reason why people love watching gambling streamers is because they often make high rolls and bets and it's usually fun when you see someone making high bets just to see how they end up, whether they win something big or end up losing all the balance, it's just the experience that is fun and I say this because I also enjoy watching gambling videos or streams sometimes just to see the gameplay with the amount being used as the base bet.

However, one should only keep it until fun and shouldn't get influenced by the results or anything because most of the times, these streamers are not using real money or their own money, so even if they lose $100k a day, it wouldn't cause them anything because the money is sponsored by the casino they are using as it's promotion for them, but if someone gets influenced by their gameplay and tries to imitate what they do, it might cause them severe financial loss.
But that is the thing, there is a reason those people are called influencers, even if they were to never make any statement to encourage other people to gamble, if they use those videos to show over and over again the supposed profits they are getting and how easy it is for them to get that money, then it is to be expected that a small percentage of the people watching those videos come to the conclusion this is something they can do as well and gamble all their money away while trying to replicate those results.
There are people who blindly follow influencers. Some even try to replicate the same kind of gameplay as they do. The influencers don't have any pressure, whether they win or lose, it isn't going to hurt them in any way. People never understand the fact, but they find them successful and try to follow their footprints. In my early days, I've tried a few things done by the influencers with a small amount, and I've seen them successful. Later, I understood that trying with big money could lead me to a massive loss.

Yesterday India-U19 Vs Australia-U19 looked similar to the Men's World Cup final of 2024. The Indian-U19 batting order failed similarly to the Indian men's team last year. It is hard to understand what went wrong, was losing the toss was a big factor, or whether Indian batters took the game as a normal match. These guys played so well in the tournament, but losing in the finals is unacceptable. A lot of these players could have made it into the national team which now after this loss would not be that easy for them. Congratulations to the Australia-U19 team for winning the cup once again.
In the U-19 World Cup Australia have batted first and set a target of 253 runs whereas in the men's World Cup India set a target of 240 runs. In the U-19 World Cup victory, credit goes to the bowler Mahli Beardman for his excellent spell. In the men's World Cup, it was Travis Head who stood wicket when the Australia team kept losing wickets at regular intervals and scored 137 runs, accompanied by Labuschagne scoring 58* runs. Both the U-19 and men's teams of India stood undefeated and lost in the final match.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: February 12, 2024, 10:33:48 PM
As a responsible gambler it gladdens my heart always whenever I hear a fellow gambler testify of how he won a bulky amount of money from be it a bet or lotto and uses that money to inject into something meaningful for himself.

It all happened on my way home just this evening. I boarded a public bus and just in front of me were seated two young men too in their late thirty's having a conversation and from the conversation it sound like they haven't met for a long time and one was telling the other of how he had won a big amount of money from a lotto he played and he has used the money to get himself a new bus for public transportation business.

According to him, he once had a bus before which he was using for the transport business (carrying of passengers) but was seized and confiscated by the authority for he used it in conveying contraband goods of which he was hired to carry to some location by the goods owner on the way law enforcement agents stop them did a search and that was how he lost that vehicle.

So winning that money he quickly went ahead to get a new bus to continue his public transport business. From his voice he seems like one whose lost hope has been restored by that single win. Gambling can be a life saver too for it's not as bad as non-gamblers portrays it. To all gamblers' when you get lucky make good use of your gambling win do not chase for double portion.
I have also heard quite a lot of stories of people who were helped financially because they succeeded in winning most of the money when gambling, but only a small part managed to keep the winnings, the rest just ran out

If you gamble without complicating your financial condition, then you will not lose because the problem is that you don't win and instead become a gambling addict, however, gambling is an activity related to money, so be wise in that matter
There will be 5 success stories and 95 failures in life. The 5 success stories will be shared whereas the lost ones feels bad sharing it and continues to find a way to win without realising that gambling isn't meant for him. I've shared my losing story here Be a Responsible Gambler. When someone finds success out of gambling it is joyful for them, but we shouldn't expect the same joy to be ours someday. This is wrong, so we need to just have our limits set and gamble. If successful enjoy it or else we should have the mind to move on and shouldn't get stuck to addiction.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make use of what you disliked because you can't stay away from it. on: February 12, 2024, 10:26:53 PM
I opened a betting account today (don't have to mention) but when I bet on their virtual games, they don't have the kind of options I am expecting to see but only provides more like only 4 options which are home win, away win, draw and over. So I bet if I could win but luckily for me I won ×2 of what I deposited, then I withdrawed the funds and mailed them to block the account because I don't find anything suitable for my liken but they replied me saying they can't and I have to make use of the account until 90 days before they can block the account.
However, it's my money and they can't force me to use it, so they have to block the account. I see that the only way to stay away from the betting account is not to fund it again.
So can anyone force you to make use of what you don't dislike?
OP, I am trying to correlate your caption with your storyline.
Nobody can force you to do what you don't want to do because you can simply abandon the account.
Since you won x 2 of your deposit and you found out that maybe thier betting options are not good for you, it better you just let it go.
Ordinary they gave you an option of 90 days and after 90 days you can go ahead in blocking the account, in your statement I don't see where they say they are forcing you to make use of the account, they only gave you an option of 90 days after which you can do whatever you want to do with the account, and in these period of 90 days, you can as well decline usage of the account.

If they say that you need to continue to gamble for the rest of the 90 days, only then is it possible to withdraw your money based on the terms and conditions, and we can say that the platform is forcing you to gamble. Here, they haven't restricted OP in any way, they have informed you that after a period of 90 days, you can request a block. This is a kind of marketing because, in between, we may get tempted and gamble. That's not the fault of the platform, and that is not forcing. You don't want to play, just leave it aside.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 12, 2024, 10:19:52 PM
The regulation surrounding gambling, betting doesn’t care if you are professional or newbie gambler. It only factors in an assumed matured age range and that is why it is said to law that only 18 year old and above can register or gamble legally.

Because an 18 year old is considered an adult; and expected to make decisions for themselves
In most countries, 18+ is considered an adult, and the same gives them access to gamble. However, different countries have different age limits for gambling. In the USA, you can't gamble in a casino if you're under 21. In Canada, you need to be 19 years of age to gamble in a few states. These days, the online gambling platforms give access to young people to gamble, though they aren't 18+, as the platforms just need the agreement to be agreed upon by the user.
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 30, 2024, 10:28:39 PM
Whether you gamble every day or once a week depends on the person. By all means, what needs to be in mind should not go beyond the limits. This means if the allocation for the month is $60, then we should not spend more than $2 every day. If this is possible, then the controlled form of gambling every day seems to be fair, as some find it a form of relaxation.

In other words, if the person is unable to have control over his gambling activities and keeps gambling without concentrating on work and personal life, then it isn't good, and it needs to be counseled and some solution needs to be found.

BTW, any of you guys betting on UTR Pro Tennis events?

No but watching some matches at the ATP Montpellier in France.

We watched Murray v Paire, Paire went through in 3 sets. Not great Tennis but entertaining
anyway. Murray just isnt enjoying his Tennis, he has said that but he really needs to finish up.

At this stage he is struggling to beat almost everyone on tour at ATP level, no disrespect to Paire.
He's struggling, but he doesn't have a plan to announce his retirement. He fought well against Paire, but he wasn't able to make it his match. Soon after the match, he said most of the players in my situation will retire, but I don't want to be the most, and I'll fight and work to produce the performance he's capable of. Last year, he mentioned that if his play isn't satisfactory, he'll announce his retirement in December 2023, and it continues.

What a great victory for India as they completely wo their match against the team new Zealand U19 because they didn't play really well. All the team of New Zealand U19 team got out on 81 which is too low score in the ODI match. And as we have seen some exgod runs have been made by the batsmen of the Indian Team. Everyone was looking for crossing the Indian 300+ runs in this ODI as they have already nearer to sett a target of 300 runs and they also play good and better cricketed.
In most of the U-19 World Cup, the Indian team used to perform well. In this match, it is really great that the batting and bowling line-up performed well against one of the strongest teams, New Zealand. The loss of two wickets in the first over is a big downfall for the New Zealand team. Raj Limbani did it well, and the same followed. Adarsh Singh gave a good start for the India team, scoring 52 runs, and the same is being carried forward by Musheer Khan with his big 131 runs, which helped India reach 298 runs.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 30, 2024, 09:57:19 PM
Ireland W vs ZIMW
The Ireland Women have already won 2 series and now Ireland Women scored 126 runs for the loss of two wickets in 17 overs.  Now O Prendergast and Delany have a great partnership, O Prendergast completes his half-century and scores 61 off just 42 balls and Delany made 29 run in 29 balls if both partnership are continue So it can give a target of 18 plus, Which will be a very tough target for ZIMW.
In all three T20 matches played, Ireland have batted first, and they've set the target. In all three matches played, the Ireland women's team had a good start, particularly Amy Hunter, who scored 101*, 77*, and 42 runs, which is really good. Zimbabwe bowlers need to break the partnerships at regular intervals to keep the target down. Anyhow, the Ireland women's team had already won the five-match series, and now it's time for the Zimbabwe women's team to do their best and win at least a match.
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: Before you start gambling, do some research first on: January 30, 2024, 09:45:00 PM
Research and understand gambling well, because what we expect out of gambling and the reality experienced used to be completely different most of the time. When we're prepared enough, it won't be a big thing, but gamblers who had a big change in life through gambling couldn't have the mind to accept the reality. Some gamblers understand after they get into gambling, but for some reason they keep on gambling with the hope of winning big someday, whereas there are people who live to gamble, which means they never care about anything beyond gambling. With such a person, if they had saved what they've spent on gambling now, they could've been super rich.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 30, 2024, 08:33:58 AM
People are desperate cause the feel like since everyone is making emphasis on the bull run, the fear of missing out makes them partake into fake airdrop and news.
Taking part in the airdrop to be able to get a profit if the project turns out to be successful is not a problem in my opinion because everyone likes free money and there is no loss if it turns out the project fails. The problem is if we have to connect our wallet which contains coins that have quite good value because that will puts us at risk of loss.
Getting quick profits is more exciting than having to wait a long time and the risks are comparable. The sooner you hope to make a profit, the greater the risk of loss you will get.
Everyone feels happy to be part of successful projects and to get rewards through airdrops and other promotional campaigns. In the past, it was possible to profit from any form of project. Now things have changed, and there is a big process involved in making a project worthy. Finding a worthy project is quite hard, and it is also kind of luck when one is able to participate in an airdrop of a successful project. When we're good at having the patience to analyze and invest, the risk of losing will be less, and the beginner level of person too can turn himself successful.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: January 30, 2024, 08:04:15 AM
Financial freedom depends on income sources. More income sources will be the choice for investment. If a person is good at financial management, he or she can make wise investments even with a single income source. When a person has a single income source, it will be difficult to manage the situation as unexpected needs arise quite often. At times, we were in a situation where we had to compromise one for the other, and with more income streams, it was possible to allocate a specific income source for a particular purpose.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government vs Bitcoin on: January 30, 2024, 06:42:53 AM
Governments frequently misunderstand bitcoin innovation.
This impression arises from the disproportionate bans and regulations they enact.
Although occasionally the bitcoin regulations appear unreasonable, I posit that bitcoin is not as detrimental as suggested. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I think you are wrong. Government don't misunderstand Bitcoin or the concept of it innovation, but due to the inability to control Bitcoin and it decentralized nature, is the reason why they dislike it. Another reason is that they see it as a  scam attempt to defraud many people since it has no account number like bank which you could easily trace people ACC and their activity and also correct some issues. but in crypto currency if a Bitcoin is lost to a wrong wallet it will be difficult to reverse and if it's large fund , you wouldn't be able to reverse it.
Yes, governments are unable to control it, which is the main reason why bitcoin usage is restricted in different countries. There are few governments around the world that have seen the better side of bitcoin, and they are positive about it. As a result, countries like El Salvador have begun to consider bitcoin as a legal tender. Based on this, we can conclude that governments don't misunderstand it, but they want control over it.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would the bitcoin price behave during a monetary collapse? on: January 30, 2024, 06:34:45 AM
A monetary system collapse is never going to happen, keeping ourselves prepared to face the worst-case scenario is good. If such a situation prevails, the price of bitcoin will skyrocket. However, most of the bitcoins will be kept idle as people won't be able to cash them out. Most users mentioned the possibility of a barter system, in which bitcoin could be exchanged for goods. Even in such situations, we can see people who believe in fiat and want physical cash for goods. Those people won't accept bitcoin, though it is highly priced. According to me, 2008 had all the expectancy, but things weren't that bad. The same as that, upcoming inflation would happen, and people would get used to it and slowly come out of it with time.
