21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There should be a wikipedia page of casinos that accept bitcoin on: May 06, 2019, 10:41:55 AM
A simple list indexed by country name and name of the casino on wikipedia. Who wants to help?
I honestly see nothing wrong with the idea, it would have really been nice but my challenge is with the bad reputation gambling has already. Wikipedia is opened for everyone both, the young and old.

Having casino sites on Wikipedia will be bad for minors because it would expose them quickly to the game. There are other people who have suffered traumatic experiences and are not fit to gamble because they can easily get addicted and having casino sites on Wikipedia would expose them to gambling and I feel it’s bad. Whoever that’s looking for a good casino sites that accept Bitcoin should carry out a proper research. There are a number of them here on this forum.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest me some gambling site on: May 06, 2019, 09:44:01 AM
There are so many gambling sites nowadays it isn't too hard to find one ,
It is best to know what kind of gambling games you are looking for to know what site we could refer to you .
And there are also some rating sites that could help you decide where to play.

I think you should gamble on old and trusted sites, as those site are the best in terms of gambling experience, fairness and support. Also you are not worry about any scam etc when you gamble on the trusted sites only.
Exactly old and some trusted sites would not be so harmful because they have been in use by the gamblers. A site that is not user friendly never gets its costumer base raised and with the passage becomes notorious as a result of which even the new gamblers refrain to use them.

Though the old trusted sites also have an edge over the gamblers, they are also users friendly and are relatively good as compared to others who try to claim your money by exploiting you in many ways.
I have learned from experience to stop gambling on new site. I had a rough experience with a new site years back. Gambled and a had huge money and then I was contacted that there was a breach in my account and it needed to be closed down, with all the money I had, it was so strange to me as I wondered if it was possible, that was when I reached out to some of my friends using the same site and they confirmed they had the same experience.

It was a scam site and I made up my mind never to use new unknown and not reliable sites. With old sites one can play safely and you can be sure that they’ve come too far and they have respect to their name.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you start crypto gambling? on: May 06, 2019, 08:08:03 AM
Here I want to discuss and learn about the starting time of crypto gambling and wanna know their experience. I hope we all able to discuss what is the situation make us to gamble and believe it for entertainment or investment!!!

Here are some lines you can share with us:

Which year?
What Situation or who motivated?
Ever first gambling site's experience?
How much you invested first time?
Your first profit amount in BTC?
What Dice or Sports game you start gamble?

Lets discuss more...

I started crypto gambling in the year 2017 and I was in a tensed situation. The only option I had then was to gamble with the little BTC I had to see if I would get more, I think I had 0.005 BTC then can’t really remember, didn’t want to play with all so I played a part of it.

I was quiet lucky to have won back my capital with little profit, wasn’t really much but it saved the day. I could pay all my pending bills that day and I was relieved. I played on Prime dice, it was my first visit on the site, I had a nice experience and I decided to stick to the site since then because it was good to me on the first day and the day I truly needed help.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: May 05, 2019, 07:31:59 PM
Only choose the best potential altcoin like ETH, BCH and BTG for my investment, I am afraid with new altcoin for investing because when lower price will be hard for raised to higher price again.
Altcoin are still not bad to invest in too, I have seen dead altcoins rise back to life during the time bitcoin was consolidating, you know during the bull run, the developers becomes active then and start promoting their project, so new investors will still invest in them and end up parking their money for the older ones.

I still have lots of these altcoins that looks very promising but down in value now because investors sold off their investment prematurely, so believe me, they will rise too, but the best of investment will typically be in that type of coin you earlier mentioned.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Market ‘Bullish’ in Wake of Bitcoin’s 20% Surge on: May 05, 2019, 06:56:23 PM
If I say that taking a step to buy in wasn't the right thing to do, then I'll be saying the wrong thing. It's really good that I took the step to buy and also had the patience till this time. The price seemed to be declining a bit this week, cause I saw when it dropped back to $5.3k, today is a different story cause it seems to be bullish to today, already at $5.6k, even close to $5.7k. Some analysis I have seen have predicted that there is going to be an increase to the rate of $6000 before the month ends and I really hope that is true.before this year ends we are likely going to see another high price indeed.
I foresee it achieving this quicker before then end of the month, it there had been  a little more forceful push on the 3rd, I am sure by now, we would have seen the $6000 value and already taking about targeting $7000 because I can see that the ATH recorded for 3rd was $5865, which is virtually very close.

It would have been very lovely if I had bought when the price dropped to even $5100 which I saw, I think that was during the tether FUD news, but couldn’t buy anymore because I already ran out of investment cash and would not want to tie down my family’s feeding money, but at any chance I get even with this price, I will still buy, because end of the year is my real target.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 05, 2019, 12:40:51 PM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa
Do you think we still need rich people in this community ?
Because I really don't think so. Talk about these rich people,  what good do they bring to this community ?

To be sincere, it's quite nothing. All they do is come to fill in their pockets and get richer. They come and they invest billions of dollars and cause the market price to run up and when it reaches their target profit,  they will withdraw their money and the market will fall again. They have gotten and made a lot of us here to lose our money,  and of course,  the lucky ones do gain from the bubble. But, these rich guys are only making themselves more rich and they don't care about this community.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens? Like I do? on: May 04, 2019, 12:50:06 PM
If you are holding a tons of bag of useless illiquid tokens you can go to exchange it into a coin and so that your useless token may have a kind of useful to you. Just like for example investing it or selling your token, or investing it to some crypto gaming website or blockchain gaming website in order to your token may have a kind of useful to you. Investing it to be a key to play some games and earn profit by winning and just playing some blockchain games. If you really want to earn or cut the losses you've getting you can play some games in order to earn more money, but you must need to gain some knowledge in order to play some gambling or games in cryptocurrency so that you can really be able to gain some profit.
Oh, you think when we say useless token, it will be about very low price or umped price, those ones, we can still try our luck and see if we can sell it and use it to buy a better coin provided they will still get buyers, just like I have exchanged some of my useless coins with little value to Binance by swapping it.

There are some coins that you cannot even do anything with, they have become so useless that how many years have they been in the market now, yet they refuse to enter exchange. What can you do with such coin, nothing but to just keep them there as decoration, hoping that one day, magic will happen and mistakenly put them on an exchange.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New IEOs on Bibox. Shall we wait XXX? on: May 04, 2019, 12:20:25 PM
Hi there guys! Just want to share some ideas about IEOs on Bibox which are coming soon. Take a look on this article, Ludos protocol, Force protocol and X-block are described there:

https://coinstelegram.com/2019/04/23/bibox-launches-set-of-projects-why/
I see that so many exchanges are now beginning to come up with IEO projects, it’s a good and welcome development, at least the concentration and the rush will be reduced and many people will get the chance to participate anytime and any day.

This will actually be my first time of hearing about Bitbox, and they must have been very popular too for them to be able to conduct IEO project, I will research on it and give a feedback if the IEO projects are worth waiting for, but I still prefer to join IEO projects from exchanges like Binance, it gives more confidence to all these other ones because of the good reputation that they have, but we can still give this one the benefit of doubt too.
We must even be extremely cautious in joining IEO from unknown exchanges because they might still end up projecting a very bad project. Not all exchanges are committed to what they’re doing, no one knows what Binance is using as base judgment in selecting their project, which will be their little secret, but whatever strategy they are using to pass judgment in selecting projects is really working.

Most exchanges might still base their selection process on whitepaper which is not different from what we have been doing and yet we still fall victims of scams, so there is need to follow a reputable and popular exchange IEO if we are to participate in any.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Been SECRETLY working w/ Bushstar (ACP Inventor) on a Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork! on: May 04, 2019, 11:23:47 AM
I've been involved in Bitcoin forever and Goldcoin since early 2013. After asking Peter Bushnell the inventor of Advanced Check Pointing (and Creator of Feathercoin) if this was possible, we decided to proceed with him as Lead Developer.

The following video explains the concept fully: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKpBXQE8r3s

The RBH codebase is now complete and the Testnet is up and running. Would love to get some feedback as we near the roll-out coming in June. Thanks in advance guys for watching and commenting!

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/JoIkaO5.jpg[/img]
Well it's kind of a good project, though when I saw the name reverse hard fork I begin to wonder what it is about, because I know so well what hard fork means and also know what reverse means, so if I want to join them together, I would say that reverse hard fork is done to reverse an hard fork back to a normal coin, just like reversing bitcoin cash back to bitcoin or bitcoin gold back to bitcoin lol, I think choosing the right name is very important especially in the crypto space because it conveys what the project is all about.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think this is the first coin to be useful after removed from all markets on on: May 04, 2019, 10:44:24 AM
Bitswift de-listed from exchange bittrex and they still accept bitswift for their store. https://bitswift.shop/

I think this is the first coin to be useful after removed from all markets on coinmarket cap and centralized exchanges, "banks"

You can still obtain bitswift in their wallet or trade it.

Well done Bitswift. you are the first of your kind.
Well it's a good thing that they still collect the coin for their store, but the real question now is, how can one be able to make purchase of the coin since it has been delisted from all exchanges it was earlier listed, so if there is no way to make purchase of the coin, how can we then buy things using the coin, now you will see that the website is more or less useless especially to those that never had possession of the coin in the first place.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1.4m of Bitcoin Miners STOLEN | BTC Hits 2019 ATH | Facebook | Dogecoin on: May 04, 2019, 10:13:33 AM
Naturally, as Bitcoin hits its all-time high (so far) for 2019, there is no shortage of interesting cryptocurrency news. Approximately 1.4 million dollars of Bitcoin ASIC miners (Bitmain Antminer S9j's) were stolen from a hosting facility in NY, USA. Facebook is seeking 1 billion to back their cryptocurrency blockchain based stablecoin for their payment processing platform. Bitcoin mining gear is apparently increasing in value along with the price of Bitcoin miners. Coinbase wallet adds Dogecoin support, so it is pretty obvious that you will be able to buy and sell Dogecoin on Coinbase in the future -- most likely 2019, and more in today's crypto news update!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm_DF_7DySo

All relevant links and timestamps are in the video description on YouTube

Why giving us this kind of news when there is a bull run in the price of bitcoin , and though you say it as if it is a good thing that bitcoin miners were stolen, don't you know that if we have that much miners stolen, that means we would have a lot of hanging unconfirmed transaction on the blockchain, making the cost for transaction fees very high, so I don't think we need this kind of news in the crypto space at the moment because it's not a good one for the bull run, all you need is talk about the moon and it's benefit.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: China's Proposal To Ban Cryptocurrency Mining Has Little To Do With Environment on: May 03, 2019, 04:30:44 PM
I believe that this proposal has really nothing to do with the issue of environmental policy or protection that bitcoin mining has been causing them or is there such environmental issue. The main problem here is that chinese government is hunting down there citizen who has been related to crypto and might hold a significant amount of money that they do not know of, which in result to this proposal banning of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
I think they just want to have the full control of the citizens, because it is not that they are against cryptocurrency completely, they have been supporting for other countries that have shown interest and I wonder why their own citizens will be banned from participating.

They are not as just wise as Russia, since crypto is something they cannot control, what Russia is planning to do is to impose tax on companies using cryptocurrency which will make them not to lose out, china may ban crypto and its activities, but will they monitor every home to know if they are breaking the rules?
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Market ‘Bullish’ in Wake of Bitcoin’s 20% Surge on: May 03, 2019, 12:36:14 PM
Bitcoin is in uptrend again after a short decline a day ago and compared to last year, the situation is more positive. The price of bitcoin managed to comeback after that bitfinex and usdt incident that brought down its price temporarily. This show that the bitcoin is now more resilence than before and can manage to overcome any FUDs and negative decelopments. But I believe that this sign will not lead to another ATH this year because it is still slow compared to the bullrun last 2017.
By now, I think everyone should have seen clearly that ATH this year would be impossible, bitcoin BULLS really wishes to really get it to ATH these year, but all these FUD news are just not helping the situation, but I believe they will all be overcame before the end of the year for us to see the ATH next year.

Bitcoin not setting foot on ATH this year doesn’t mean that bitcoin will remain stagnant and not appreciate, as you said, with all the tether news, bitcoin still did not dump below $5000, we will still continue on this green market till the end of the year, so it’s very much safe to invest in BTC now.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 03, 2019, 12:03:05 PM
Yeah high risk, high reward but I read in a book that most profitable traders were only making 30-40% of winning trades with very good Risk/Reward ratios  Wink beware of liquidations anyway

The more money you invest, the more you can win (or lose). Here, you must be very cautious when making your choice. Better do not deal with unknown tokens that promise to pump soon.
well, that depends on the strategy you have. big results do require substantial funds, as well as risks. but whether someone is successful or not is lost from what he planned. and great results, with great risk we must also recognize and pay attention.

People with the higher amount also take higher risk so if someone can afford to lose big also get rewarded in the big way during the bull run or btc jump . Thus ensure that you can afford to lose the amount you invest in just in case market falls.
Using higher amount of money is less riskier in long term investment to trading, there is nothing so tempting in long term investment and even when the price of the coin drops, it will only stay there will the coin picks back to increase the investment, but when high amount is used for trading, the trader will surely be tempted to use leverage because that is where the OIL MONEY is, the higher one leverages, the quick and bigger profit we make, but the risk involve is a very deadly one, so if one is to use very big amount, it should be for long term investment and not to trade with it.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: May 02, 2019, 03:49:36 PM
These insect and animal fights become popular in some provinces because there are no means for these people to play gambling and they want to explore something new, so they create spider fighting, insect fighting and so many other forms of gambling that involves animals and insects.
I think most of the countries that do insect and other types of animal fighting are countries where gambling mostly originated from. Those days, they liked to have fun and gamble and using this insect and other types of animals was really fun since they had a lot of spectators.

This gambling has become a tradition in some countries and I believe even with the invention of new and better gambling, they still value his gambling type.  In china for example, they have been practicing insect fighting as spectators and this is the same with Vietnam and Thailand. Japanese for example are known for bug’s fights. They are all weird kind of gambling anyway.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instant withdrawal form betting site on: May 02, 2019, 12:44:04 PM
If this thread a promo, just make sure site that you promoted really trustable. Because if both of it is a good site they will famous in short time. And a lot of respond in here is said rare to hear site that you promoted.
Even if the sites are not trustable and are no good for the gamblers, people these days are sharp enough to understand about the flaws a website have in matter of minutes. If they are really good with withdrawal, I think they will get users raised in no time because I have seen people complaining about different websites banning them or doing pathetic things when they go for withdrawal.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: May 02, 2019, 12:09:23 PM
This I agree, it's a good way to start, but not a guaranty that you can win, luck is something that it's hard to control in gambling games that are determined by luck, if it is a skill game then you have a good chance to win,a clear mind can create a good strategy but not so in games of chances.
Controlling luck is impossible. Hard or easy, you will never have that time of controlling it.

In skill based games, having a winning mindset would help but it wouldn't change the result.
I think everything is gambling is determined by your experience and probability. I do not see LUCK playing any role. Many people do not even believe in LUCK in the first place which makes it a lame concept for many. A random event could not be regarded as luck or many people do. Having said that, a winning mindset backed by experience could be instrumental in helping you win.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There should be a wikipedia page of casinos that accept bitcoin on: May 02, 2019, 11:22:17 AM
A simple list indexed by country name and name of the casino on wikipedia. Who wants to help?

Being an active user of Wikipedia, I would say that it is not possible to create such an article there. Such a list will be immediately flagged as "promotion" or "advertising" and after reviewing by the admins it will be deleted. Hence I would say that there is no use in spending our precious time in creating such an article or even a sub-section of an existing article.
I think it should not be like that. We should have information about the best casinos that accept Bitcoin around the world. This should be on Wikipedia because so many people use Wikipedia and they should know about such things. Google also helps you find such casinos. One could also compile the list of famous Bitcoin casinos and upload it their websites which might help others. If you do that for the leading crypto casinos, it would not be counted as advertisements or promotion as they already got users.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more time to waste on: May 02, 2019, 10:48:24 AM
If I can't find a bounty project that's already listed and trading I'm done joining bounties.
No matter how reasonable a project might be if the teams decided to stay anonymous I will pass by
Whitepapers and roadmaps aren't enough anymore, developers should be ready to face the public and be ready to show me they are ready to work ,not experimental on 'it might became success or failure .
We have a lot of persons that are already getting tired of bounties and I remember saying this a few months ago, someone even created a post of how one could use bounty as a source of income to feed themselves, I laughed so hard when I saw it because that person might die of frustration once a bounty refuses to pay him/her the reward, or the coin turns out to becoming a shitcoin that will not be relevant to you even in years to come, therefore all the time you spent participating in the bounty becomes a waste.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VeChain Price Analysis: Is this the right time to buy VET? on: May 02, 2019, 10:18:35 AM
There is some positive news coming here from the Vechain supports. So, I just ask is it a Good time to buy or wait?

I just read the News here: https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/vechain-price-analysis-is-this-the-right-time-to-buy-vet/
Well if the new is good enough, then I will say it is good you take advantage of it and make purchase of the coin but after the event have occured, you will have to dump the coin in order not to loss your funds, one of the best way to know is there is going to be a growth in the price of a coin is to check the event happening around it, what are people saying about the coin and most especially what are the team in charge of the code saying about the coin, always learn to check all this things out in order to dominate the market.
