21  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Using QR codes as Bitcoin address protection on: January 26, 2024, 03:07:42 AM
I am still thinking how I will be able to confirm whether the address that I scanned is actually the one I want money to be sent on? When it comes to actual Bitcoin address I can still check the address five times and see whether its correct Or not?

Looking at the discussion above I believe its not the perfect way to go for it. In fact there are already tools that generate the QR codes by just using generic tools. So that is still an optional -option. Smiley
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy BTC NOW? on: January 25, 2024, 11:01:38 PM
Just buy it because anyways its gonna pump up pretty soon. Bitcoin isnt asset that needs to be bought now and then. It has to be bought with proper strategies like DCA. The reason is Bitcoins instability. The same feature makes it easy to buy and sell at versatile prices. Well if you pick up the chart history then its simply evident from that how Bitcoin performing over the years. Needlessly just buy it with DCA and wait for the nice profits in the future.

24  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education and why it should be a priority. on: January 15, 2024, 02:51:56 PM
It’s true but there is also one more thing:- life! It can be very hard at times and even if someone is literate with their financials then also they end up in a non ending circle of debts. This has happened many times with big peeps too.

Instead, it has to be way of life that matters a lot. Managing funds usually come from experiences. It shall be taught in the schools, yes but the real game starts when same student is put-forth in real life. Its like crazy out there and you know it if you are an adult. Unwanted expenses can hit us very hard. How do you tackle it is another story to follow.  Cheesy
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't only pray for mass adoption, start HODLING!! on: January 15, 2024, 01:45:27 PM
We still need both ways: circulation and holding. The former one keeps the liquidity pool active and there is enough volume for us to work with daily transactions. This could be from exchanging Bitcoins to selling or buying them directly on an exchanger or from peer. The later one is needed so that there will be resistance pressure building everywhere. You see the game of financials run with these two parameters. If not then ecosystem of Bitcoin can crumble real bad. Imagine if no one is holding then Bitcoin being publicly active might just not become resistant due to its high volatility. So at some point we need that pressure for sure. If they are holding then thats good. If they are transacting then its better too.

I was trying to look for the terms to see if there's no country restriction, or if there is, I'm hoping my country is not restricted. I haven't sign up with the casino yet, so if you have the information about it, kindly share it here please. Or @OP or anyone here, please share some information regarding this.
You can go back to the first page, there is someone who quoted the full list of the restricted countries or you can simply go the terms page.

Thanks, mate! I found what I was looking for, LOL.

My country is blocked, so does this mean using a VPN is okay, considering they are VPN-friendly?
Who among you here uses a VPN to play at the casino? Have you experienced any problems or issues?

Ahh, I think I would not dare to go blind on this. The terms and condition do not mention anything about VPN usage. In fact they have straight away written which countries allowed and which are not. In addition to this, they have also clearly mentioned about in which country a specific game provider doesnt allow their games to be played OR some countries where a game provider is allowed but users cant participate in their jackpots. If they have outlined such strict policy then it would be better you check up with their support team. If only they confirm that VPN is allowed from the country where you accessing it, then only proceed with it.

Have you checked the ToS page? Its just 10 minutes read and you must read it. Frankly, I havent seen anything about VPN. So I might just keep it simple and ask things, confirm them from official staff and then make further decisions.

Also, read this….

Welcome to the forum guys. Had a quick look around and was more interested to see your Affiliate program. I am happy to see that you are offering 20% commission for the first tier itself. That is really motivating partner offers. Most of them start as low as 5% or 10% which is lot less considering referrals could be low volume wagerers. This is why having higher commission can boost the CPA marketing quickly. It feels good to invest money on digital marketing when we get such high commission. Of course no doubt on the max tier with 50% which is the usual and the highest one everywhere.

The second good thing about the casino is having range of slots and in house games. These days it’s getting very competitive in terms of versatile gaming experience. Hope you have a great time here. Smiley
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 14, 2024, 09:46:36 AM
Hi all. Roobet requested documents from me, which were successfully approved, but withdrawal of funds is not available to me and no one answers me in the chat. This is fine?
It's not okay that you're experiencing issues with this on Roobet as I haven't experience this problem. If you've already submitted the requested documents and facing withdrawal issue, it's advisable to contact their customer support again or consider reaching out through alternative channels like as email, telegram or Twitter. They are always active on Twitter. You can also try sending a private message to the OP or search for the user @HHampuz he might be able to help you.

This is the casino's internal issue and there could be various plots behind this like the user not having proper KYC done, or they could be from a restricted country and accessing the Roobet using a VPN. This can always trigger safety and block the users from withdrawing their money.

I hardly think Hhampuz sir can help in this regard. They better get connected with Roobet support directly. Check the support timeline it can be from 24-72 hours for a reply. I am sure the Roobt team will come up with a solution if no rules are broken by the users. For me, this has been the least of the worries. I hardly think I ever got into deposit or withdrawal trouble on the Roobet. It's just easy, follow the set guidelines, perform the KYC, play, and have fun in the casino. Smiley
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto: a place where everyone makes money, but few secure it on: January 14, 2024, 09:21:16 AM
That's a regular dilemma when we try to manage our finances. Take this, Bob has an enormous amount of money that was won in gambling or maybe from lotteries. However, money earned that way might lead to disastrous decisions. See, this money came easily with no hard work/skill, etc, merely luck, and when that happens, a person can go insane. They end up doing expenses they never meant to do in the first. They start feeling happy they have a big balance so they don't think much about re-investing it OR growing that money to more! It's like luxury taking over your head.

Coming back to the crypto-related investments, it is nothing different than that. In the end, it's money with value so decision-making never changes there. In crypto, you have very less opportunities or ways to invest. You can maybe stake or hold your crypto but nothing more than that. Moreover, while holding you go through hundreds of emotions that can lead to losses and unwanted selling. It takes a lot of effort in crypto as compared to the real world financing.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 13, 2024, 09:25:40 AM
Wow, another happy gambler! Congratulation. That is crypto gambling sites blessing peeps these days. I am so happy to see that there are real examples like this guy who must be just sitting every day to try out their luck and this night changed everything for them. Good work by sharing this news here as it will keep motivating other players and show them winning high amounts is real.

I also saw the post from another casino just a week ago and they showed how one user one similar high stake bet with little money. I mean this guy won it only with $17 that's what makes me really happy.

Otherwise, there are cases where peeps do win a high amount of bets but they end up spending a lot of money beforehand. This is why this post holds more weightage in terms of profitability. Good luck to others too!
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin commercials on: January 13, 2024, 09:06:06 AM
Seems like we are about entering into a new phase for Bitcoin when it gradually becomes more common in households and regular discussions.
I am speculating it becomes more accepted generally by a larger percentage of the population and more of the hesitancy around it reduces it.

Privacy would also reduce with it, but that's a topic for another discussion.

Yeah, the more the advertisement starts to get out the more Bitcoin-related products and services will be available now. Till today there was the impression of having regulatory issues with Bitcoin for a common man so most of them ignored it. There was always confusion about whether Bitcoin would survive through time or not. However, now the times changing. Bitcoin has left the "virtual reality" and now it's going "real" public with such advertisements.

Let us consider this one sort of proof that Bitcoin is running smoothly around the globe. This will also capture Gen Z pretty quickly as they keep seeing the ads. I don't know but it might just go on the school and high school levels as everyone would be stating "hey did you check this ad last night"; and stuff like that. Yeah, there are high chances of such events happening.

It is good that you put it here. Cheerful news for us. Smiley
32  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: SatoshiVM - "A New Era For Bitcoin" on: January 13, 2024, 08:44:16 AM
I think we had a similar discussion/solution earlier when we had huge congestion with Bitcoin transactions back when they launched Ordinals for the first time. It dropped a huge burden on the blockchain and made it worse. I am not sure if a similar solution is being posted here or not but in the first instance it seems the same. If we get that solution back again, and create more off-chains (side chains) then it is going to be even worse than that. This is also a similar case when the N-number of projects started rolling on the ERC-20 chain and it was all messy. This is the main reason ETH also started congesting with time. If we repeat the same algorithm for BTC's blockchain then man I couldn't imagine more congestion than what we have right now.

Also, it's not a matter of who cares and who doesn't. It's more or less what would be implications or after-effects on the main blockchain?
33  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 12, 2024, 07:00:37 PM
It helps to have an ANN thread but unfortunately there is no active Roobet representative on this forum anymore so I don't think they really follow BCT, which is a pity.
They can observe the announcement thread and discussion with Read mode. Similarly to people only read posts in the forum without any account.

By running their signature campaign here, they actually are spending money and I believe not only the campaign manager, they actually have some contact points and staffs to follow up effects from their signature campaign, contests as well as discussion here and beyond it like accusations. If they see something valid and big, they will certainly join the discussion and answer our questions.

If they no longer care about their brand here, they would have shut down all marketing activities here.
As long as they are doing marketing, how they are doing it shouldn't matter. They can be here and not do any marketing and that would be worse compared to what they are doing right now, I prefer them not being here and doing marketing anyway, it's a lot better in the end. They do have a point of contact, with the campaign manager, but I think support staff at the website itself is a lot better option and should be considered their only way of contact as well.

I believe that as long as they keep the marketing going, they are going to be fine. Plus with all the art competition as well, that is one of the highest paid competitions around bitcointalk forums, and I think that should be the point of focus, the marketing, not their activity in their account.

Whether it is a big company or small company, or it's a brand/non-branded stuff, everything in this world needs marketing. I think it is not a biggie with a casino like Roobet or any other one. As of now, Roobet is a big brand in the casino category, they may leave the marketing as it is and they will still survive the worst storm of competition. However, let us not exaggerate things here because at some point others will take over the ground, peeps start liking new ventures, this makes the previous ones fade away from the memory.

Now just to keep that memory fresh we need that continuous ticking of the brand name, its images, and videos circulating everywhere. I am sure that's the only way to keep everything encircling for a business.

Roobet is doing the same and they are doing it perfectly.  Cheesy
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: January 12, 2024, 04:38:21 PM
duelbits i am unable to register from US, let me know is there any isuue on the site
Based on the terms, US is one of the banned region so anyone live (temporary/permanently) in the banned regions will not be allowed to register. It is not an issue but it is exactly the rules, that's why you are unable to register. As far as I know it is something common to see many casinos that does not accept players from US, but there are still some casino that accept US players.
It is not even the "rules" perse but more like the law. When you are gambling from one of the banned nations, you are not just breaking their rule, which is true you are breaking them but that is not the only point, you are also committing a "crime". Obviously this crime is not jailed in most nations, it is just a fine, you get to pay a certain fine for gambling and walk away, maybe in some more culturally harsh nations there could be jail too, but I am not sure if any has that.

Most nations have this to prevent money going out, a citizen of that nation losing all their money and belongings to a casino that is not based there is not something government would want, so they try to prevent that from happening and ban gambling.

That trend is off the roof in Tier 1 nations. You get big bold pop-ups while accessing the site from the banned nations so players should stay away from such temptations. We all get, that some casinos are doing great and we have good insights about them which makes us go and play on them. However, breaking such rules that too in the financial domain can be scary. Once I tried accessing a casino to test it out, and when I saw the notice of "not allowed country", I left and also left the campaign itself.

I think keeping calm and thinking twice is the best move here. The VPN has made things easy to get out of the boundaries but that should only be used when there are privacy concerns on the websites and not the other way around. Every casino at some point will hunt down such accounts. The players have seen using VPNs but with small mistakes like turning the VPN on or off while visiting the websites have flagged their accounts. Better think about the consequences before the temptation to play on them.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 12, 2024, 03:41:22 AM
An affiliate program is not something in which you can enroll and you will magically start learning extra bucks. It has to be executed with proper planning and long vision. Most of the users just start publishing their affiliate links, they get new sign-ups but earn nothing because they need serious sign-ups who are willing to wager thousands of bucks every month. The commission varies from casino to casino and the way they have rules. For example, some casino has a straight commission structure of 10-15% irrespective of your level in their casino. However, there are giants who have popularity and thus getting a referral is a very easy process but getting a commission is hard. They will have lots of % share. For example, Newbies can get 5%, Bronze 10%, Silver 15%, and so on till the highest commission they can share. So you see, it's not just the affiliate program but its about your account level too.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of Gaming on the Real Economy on: January 11, 2024, 02:55:59 PM
It looks like an excellent idea with a twist from the traditional gaming platforms offering a play-to-earn methodology. I hope you have a good range of gaming catalogs to entertain the users. Since most of the users have already discussed in-depth knowledge about 1:1 ratio pros and cons, I would like to refer to another marketing gimmick that you guys must follow. Most of the P2E start with something similar, however, after the specific period is passed on they fail to achieve actual earning ratios for the users. The revenue can go down dramatically if they start feeling they are not earning enough in-game currency OR the conversion rate is too low for the time spent on any games.

I have seen a few games where they offer real rakeback on in-game assets. For example, selling rarely-found swords or maybe a modern-day car, etc. (Just an example) for the in-game currency. So this keeps users engaged with games and all of them try to hunt down such rare items with increased levels of game difficulty. I am just giving out review as a gamer who would want such feature.
37  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 11, 2024, 11:40:07 AM
I think it's appropriate to post this here. I don't know if you missed but in case you missed, keep in mind that Binance is going to delist FUN/BNB spot pairs.
Source: https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/2550688473273

The trading volume for the last 24 hours on the FUN/BNB pair is only $8k. So, there is nothing terrible in the fact that Binance decided to delist this trading pair because there is still a pair FUN/USDT with more than $800k trading volume.

A hidden fact that newbies don't know, so I glad to share for any beginners who will visit this thread, Freebitco.in also has one of oldest Bitcoin faucet and it still runs in 2024.

Yep, Freebitcoin has a faucet feature as users can still claim a few free sats every hour. However, I would say this has long been a secondary feature, and now Freebitcoin is more like a casino than a faucet.

A trading pair thats alts-alts against each other is always a bust. Most of the time preference is given to bitcoin and stable coins to avoid further conversions of other altcoins. I am not sure when I last visited binance just to grab that BNB discount on fees. Anyway that is least of worry here, thats why most of the peeps choose to trade with BTC and USDT only.

Whats more important here is, FUN has high 24 hour volume against other trading pair. Lolz  Cheesy
Its vital because individual like me is holding more than 30k FUN by now and most of them were bought at the launch of FUN staking on freebitcoin. I am hoping this volume continues to prosper and make FUN strong player again.

Looking at the current graph it seems, its gonna take while to cheers the moment. Hmm.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: If you are investing in the stock market, coinbase is good to invest in now! on: January 11, 2024, 09:50:01 AM
I would say how about trying it out considering they have started something new. ETF approval was a dream until last year and today if that's approved then it means something. Many users who were waiting for this, might have already bought a lot of shares from Coinbase. Apart from the technical perspective imagine the other crowd that will be investing just because they see some new developments from the SEC for the sake of investment. Meaning, there will be FOMO investment in this share, as it is a brand new concept and well some of them would be buying actual shares rather than buying and holding bitcoins in their wallet.

However, out of the 11 Bitcoin ETF that was approved. About 6 uses Coinbase as a custodian wallet. This is why there will be increase in the price of Coinbase in the stock market as there will be a substantial amount of Bitcoin going into Coinbase soon.

6 uses Coinbase as their custodia wallet. This is just a start, and Coinbase is among the biggest exchanges they can trust for the moment, but after this approval and things start getting more interesting, more revenue is supposed to be pumping in as their investors demand will increase. Do you think they will continue to use Coinbase as their custodia wallet?

What do you think will stop them from having their own private wallet for reserve, or is there anything on the approval that will restrict them from having their backup bitcoin held by them, like creating a multi-signature wallet and keeping all their ratios, or does Coinbase provide some form of insurance for the funds that they store with them? I'm just asking, as there might be some sort of rule to follow for the 1:1 ratio as per what they are to offer to trade in the stock market.

For the reason of profits. I think Coinbase share price will boost a lot as a result of investment opportunities. On the other hand holding Bitcoin is a work of patience and it takes a lot of time to get good profits out of it. Now I am individual who like to hold onto bitcoin but I am just stating a perspective of many peeps who are still keeping safe mind before investing directly into bitcoin.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin journey has started again on: January 11, 2024, 08:34:01 AM
This has been my biggest motivation. I wish to be like you in no distance time, but due to financial instability and other factors beyond my major control, it has always seem impossible to start now. Kudos to this great move, I believe you must be so proud of yourself for taking this bold step. I can't wait to join the moving train. Bitcoin is the future.

We talking or we starting. Bitcoin is that train which will keep moving irrespective of whose on or off. The Bitcoin journey is full of surprises and it can bring up whole new opportunities for us. Its like you dont what would happen to Bitcoin in terms of its prices, volume. Any small or major event out in the market can onset these events. Whether its negative news like an exchanger getting hacked or positive news like ETF approval or Grays buying millions of dollar worth; they all come by surprise and move this market. Investors like you and me can scoop good profits from Bitcoin holding during such period. Thats why there is no wait, if you are in then you should be in right away even with smaller amounts.

Surprisingly they haven't added the Bitcoin or other crypto betting option yet. Looks like they aren't going to add crypto price betting market for this month. If I remember it correctly, Freebitco team add the new monthly Bitcoin price betting market one week before the start of the new month. Anyway, we will have 10-12 days to place our bets if they add it in this week.

Probably TheQuin has forgot about it or is too busy as normally these kind of bets are always available. Or maybe he is waiting on the decision of the SEC as that can still greatly influence the price (in a good or bad way). I wonder what the odds will be when the prediction becomes online.

I just noticed that TheQuin was last online on December 5, which means he has been inactive for over a month for some reason. So, there is a possibility that BTC, ETH, and FUN token bets may not appear this month. I'm wondering why other members of the freebitcoin team won't do it if TheQuin is absent. I think they should have thought about automating the process of adding new events in the betting tab rather than doing it manually every month.

I just noticed this because I was focusing more on sports betting. It could be that they have some other ideas Or possible new categories to add soon for us. But predicting anything like that makes no sense. We still have plenty of sports events that we can bet on. It is one of the hottest series that is under play.

Maybe some peeps just love betting on cryptocurrency price prediction. FUN was one of the most popular, to be honest. It was a steady mover so it was way easier to predict the results and get decent cashback on winning.

Let us just hope it is not a major decision like removing the cryptocurrency price prediction. That category still has a huge fan base and almost all the price windows had at least some bets.
