981  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Leaderboards: Someone lost $120m... on: March 22, 2023, 06:39:46 PM
First of all very nice idea to create a website which has perfect keyword right now and most probably highly searched around the globe right now. Whoever made it was genius.

Secondly, all those Top 10 were not even close to be genius by keeping all those stablecoins over an exchanger. I am not sure if they were staking it or they just kept them in stable coins to avoid the market crashes but in both the cases they did a dumb mistake.

Perfect example of how to be rich person with no brain at all. Those guys must have had stroke after seeing everything going down the way.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could there be any importance and need for some kind of mild regulations? on: March 22, 2023, 06:13:10 PM
I completely agree with the part where you said it’s all about the peeps we don’t trust. That one is right on the point. Yes, that’s the barrier and that’s what we don’t want when they are running a crypto exchanger. One thing about the crypto exchanger, it’s all the time flooded with lot of money. There is always a point when owner of these centralised exchanges would go nuts about the wealth they are looking at. There comes the point when partnerships are broken due to financial concerns and there is always a point when wealth comes by you have more rivals around. Who gets hampered with this? Well peeps like you and me who are here to just exchange our bitcoins and have that desirable value and stay happy. But no, they will always break the chain. That’s why it’s not needed.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: March 22, 2023, 03:07:40 PM
Do you think that meme coins still have a chance to do well in the next bull market? Would you still invest on projects like shiba inu and floki inu.

Just for the quick profits yes they are but if you are going to be holder of the meme coins then I think that would be bad idea. Meme coin is dish best serve either in intraday trading or futures market if they are available on any reputable exchangers. Any trader who follow the mentioned trading methodology will understand the importance of such coins. The main reasons: 1) cheap prices 2) bulk buy due to cheap prices 3) easy to liquidate for popular coins 4) easily pumping and dumping all the time. You can literally scoop out profits if you play nice with it. So yes they are good investment if you are just going trade around them and have quick profits for yourself.
984  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 21, 2023, 06:35:48 PM
That’s funny because if they were not able handle the systems which were being run by their own self control then they are already done with it and failed at it. How could such people or organisations can work on decentralised system and make sure they will run it properly? That’s definitely sarcastic and it’s not going to happen real soon. Replacing a centralised system mindset with the decentralised is not gonna happen so quickly. If they ever think of doing it then it’s gonna be long process and could take decades of Timeline. There is whole world in it when we talk about financial system. That’s where everything revolves around.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a legal tender OR pay with BTC and get REAL goods. on: March 21, 2023, 06:06:45 PM
I think the list could be very big if we started to work on it. First of all, there comes online or e-commerce businesses who have started accepting the bitcoin as payment method since long time. The sub part of the same falls with third party payment processors. I think coinbase already has an API which can be integrated on any website so as to accept the payments in bitcoin. Moreover they also embedded code for various alts along with after the fact that bitcoin was little slow sometimes.

Moreover, there are broker firms which deal with real estate business and can easily accept the payment in bitcoin.
I can already read through various posts that there are sited which can help you get gift cards for established brands and thus spend money that way.
986  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity of money on: March 19, 2023, 05:07:34 PM
Everything looks fine and orderly. The current period is all about inflation and chaos that happened after pandemic hit the world. It was but obvious to happen considering the whole market was under shut down. I wouldn’t call it scarcity. There is lot of money in the UN and throughout the world. In fact we are also looking at few developing nations from the Asia region becoming as powerful economic Centers with world trade quality. I’m sure whatever info you have got is either baseless or they are just your own thought due to inflationary pressure.
987  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 19, 2023, 04:20:56 PM
@freebitco, isn’t the 0.005 btc wagering limit shall be changed considering the fact that the prices are hiking for bitcoin ?

I mean whenever I am seeing the free roll prices and WOF rewards, they all are adjusted according to the market price of bitcoin. I was wondering why same isn’t been done to the lambo tickets wagering requirement. I believe whenever the prize money is distributed when someone win lambo it’s given in bitcoin and conversion is done as per the market rate at that time.

Wondering if it’s gonna be adjusted or remains the same?
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Suggestions About Investment in new projects on: March 19, 2023, 03:43:59 PM
I would say no and move myself towards more bitcoin oriented attitude. The problem is the out of nowhere projects are always horrible. This is worst way of having any project discussed. There is no official announcement of such project neither they have professional community. Most of the attention goes to project when it is in the discussion on Official forum. Such as this one with projects lead owners “leading” the official announcement here. Then we can talk about it and start discussing about putting real money in it. Better yet get out of it and invest in bitcoin or ether.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found my Bitcoin books from 2016 on: March 19, 2023, 02:52:27 PM
This is damn interesting to see. I am looking at it as lost and found treasure stuff. I used to write the private keys, wallet info and even various sites that I used to visit as interest. I bet I would find similar books in my closet if started cleaning up. The reason I have kept them locked away is due to the fact that slowly I adopted new tech. For example most of the portfolio is now on hardware wallet. Instead of having too many software wallets I am keeping segregated funds over hardware and couple of Soft wallets only. This has reduced write up a lot. It’s also very risky. For example let us say our books were found by someone else or we would have lost them forever, so as to bitcoin with it.

It’s good post to understand that information is so vital and tender when it comes to written info! Be careful and Store it wisely guys.
990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: March 18, 2023, 06:49:50 PM
The ROI methodology is very simple. If you have invested small amounts then you are not taking any risk and thus your returns would be small as well. On the other hand if you have invested heavily then your risk is highest and so as to your returns as well. That’s how it works. Considering we are in highly volatile market you can also add up that risk and multiply it to the above pre involved risks. With the time bitcoin will be upward trend picker due to its limited supply and everything but to achieve your ROI you have to be consistent with the holding process. Not only that, you must bring down the average cost of purchase to lowest end.
991  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 18, 2023, 05:47:53 PM
The financial situation of the gambler who lost the bet is not the same as yours or mine. He would naturally be considered a big gambler. As a small gambler, the amount that we claim to be big but may not be much to those big gamblers. Moreover, he may have won large amounts by placing such bets in the past. In gambling winning or losing is the common feature so as much as possible to take bets with research and analysis that will be good for the betting life.
Make sense now. It is a big deal for us, but for him, it's a piece of cake. But the fact is, anything could happen in gambling, even the odds are on your side. Even with good analysis, you could still lose. As we can say that he is a big gambler, he will definitely have good knowledge on analysis. So the lesson to learn from this is already there. Proceed with caution.  Grin

The response on this thread has got some different swag really. Smiley
Why not, it’s million dollar bet and everything was lost in a blink of an eye. That’s ridiculously crazy amount and yes guy must be rich enough to fund his account with that much amount of money.

I don’t think we need any other clue to understand whether gambler was rich or not. Lolz.

However, it was really stupid idea to go that way. Though odds were low, it’s a casino with proper algorithm set to keep up the casinos financial health on the higher side always.

Never underestimate the world of gambling. :-P
992  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there anything like Bitcoin savings? on: March 18, 2023, 05:06:57 PM
Usually that is defined by holding your bitcoin in the cold storage or simply hardware wallet and forgetting about it. That’s what savings is called in the crypto space. What else you can do? It’s all about how long you hold and how you profit yourself from it. Many of them decide to save for particular period and never look at their purse at all. This is irrespective of market price. However there are peeps who will be saving lot of bitcoins (or Satoshi) and trading them as soon as they see the opportunity to sell or buy and act accordingly.

For me it’s all mixed up when it comes to bitcoin savings. I might be working on DCA or sometimes I just kee buying that’s all.
993  Economy / Economics / Re: How will Fed bailing out banks increase inflation? on: March 17, 2023, 06:22:20 PM
FED should stop sitting in their warm offices and converting air into Money. They should really start looking after a strategy which will help America to get over the debts they are piling up over the time. If you checkout the real live data of US Income Tax Vs. US Debts then the later one is rising by millions every hours to days. Goa bless America in the upcoming decade.

Many fellow members think that America had been in debts since many years yet it is surviving and stuff like that. However, sooner or later this bubble will burst as well and FED won’t be in the position to overcome the returns after inflation is gone. Because by that time they will realise they are more into debts themselves and there is no more Air to Money conversion.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot be a Bank? on: March 17, 2023, 03:42:04 PM
I think these strategies have been studied already and peeps are already using it on the micro level. Now and then  I have seen hundreds of threads published by different locals who shown the pictures of shops, businesses, crypto banks and much more. That already proves peeps around the world has started accepting bitcoin irrespective of what local laws are stating.

Isn’t this acceptance is pleasuring to us already?

Does it need to be physical offices? Does it have to have the list you have mentioned? Not necessarily and I think the question is weird.
995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Social Trading Platforms evaulation on: March 16, 2023, 05:14:46 PM
Good lessons from this thread. Both auto trading and self learning got mixed up here and I don’t know but I think it’s always better to learn and then trade seems to be taking the highest weightage right now. I have always seen the traders who go for copy trading come up with loses because they can copy the trade or methods but they can’t copy the skills that other traders posses. Moreover, just having tools on exchanger is not really important. The greed can disturb it all and make them useless. Better have excellent knowledge in the trading before jumping in.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash? on: March 16, 2023, 04:32:29 PM
If it becomes privacy coin then sure it’s popularity will increase dramatically however it’d no guarantee that price would go hike on that basis. If so monero would have been enormously high right now considering it’s Privacy properties. However, it got attacked by authorities many times for unfair transaction which were so claimed by authorities themselves.

SHIBA on the other hand got its popularity basically because of the meme competition and anti doge community. Now adding a feature which is entirely other side of its basic framework can only push it little further but not similar to the original privacy coins.
997  Economy / Economics / Re: Finally they understand the value of Decentralization ! on: March 16, 2023, 04:07:52 PM
We can call it one step towards the actual existence of decentralisation but we can’t claim this is what happening in the world right now. What I mean is really simple if you know how pees keep changing their minds as per the situation. As stated by you in the OP the whole chain reaction started after the collapse of bank and then out of the fear of losing funds in the process everyone is moving or trading more on decentralised exchangers as compared to the before zone in the want of “saving”.

Consider the reverse situation here when decentralised exchangers run out enough volume and they do not get much users for long time then ultimately everyone would start trading on centralised exchanges again. That’s the only bridge point here.
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as treasure. on: March 16, 2023, 09:55:16 AM
Ahh, it is same thing as arguing whether bitcoin is currency, asset or some sort of commodity which has fiat valuation. I don’t think nomenclature really matters here considering what bitcoin is and what is its status today in the current timeline. Bitcoin has got its own spark, its own value and its own investors. There is no need to call it property or some sort of asset. We use them occasionally or while speaking about it because it’s just referring word or name to understand we are talking about something that has “value”.  So naming it has got least priority at this point.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: March 15, 2023, 05:08:34 PM
Since Altcoins are really volatile that make the investor feel afraid, doubtful, and uncertain easily. But many people choose altcoins because they believe they can earn a lot of profit from investing there rather than Bitcoin it's not that very volatile if we compare it to Bitcoin although we know that crypto is really volatile.

You mean not volatile as compared to Altcoins?

Anyways, whether it is bitcoin or altcoins they are pretty volatile and that’s not the valid point while choosing the assets for trading. What matters is holy good volume to fulfill the quick orders. Every pro trader know very well they want volume to perfect and all the time those buy and sell tickers working around the clock. That’s all. Know why? Well for a pro trade that’s enough to dig out their way from any sort of portfolio or let’s say individual Altcoins. Volume is like fuel. So if they have it they can take “fastest” decisions to buy or sell at any given time point.
1000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traffic will jam if bitcoin pumps on: March 15, 2023, 04:33:44 PM
When bitcoin pumps it’s time hold your assets tight and never let them go away. Basically it depends on your position in the market. If you are already in profit and well above average point then no need to sell. If you want make profits and buy again then that could be done quickly with decentralised exchanges or p2p transfers. I’m stressing on holding because it’s long term profit that’s gonna make big difference. Once sold its sold for that particular price. However, in the opposite case when one keep buying then they are securing the average price per bitcoin thus making it far more profitable.

So no question of pump and traffic jam or whatever you call it. Wink
