21  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences in btc value? on: November 29, 2018, 09:22:01 PM
The price is based on supply and demand. We had this case with India and China too before they close their exchanges. If for example India had a high demand for bitcoin then you will see a 5-10% higher price compared to International price in the other exchanges. It's totally normal, If you could manage to register there and somehow sell your coins then you could actually make this profitable for you.
That’s a good advantage, because as far as I know it's a selling strategy for daily traders to take advantage of high demand for profits in a short time due to high demand in the local country. But now it has been closed, to register for a local trade in a country with high demand is a little more difficult.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT NEXT FOR BTC on: November 18, 2018, 02:15:06 PM
Indeed, it is common knowledge that greedy people want to control bitcoin, but they cannot. Bitcoin is designed for individuals, and if they really want to control it it will be very difficult even though they have a lot of money.

Uh when you say control, a few people with enough holdings can actually manipulate pumps and dumps that will affect how the rest of the holders feel. It's a known fact and sadly that's just how most things in this world works. Whatever happens to btc, you can only be prepared for any possibility.
Yes it is true, in fact the pumps and dumps are very influential to other holders, there may be some people who do pumps and dumps simultaneously at large numbers are able to make some other holders panic. And I agree with you, no matter what the situation we will face, especially when there are pumps and dumps, we must be prepared so we won’t be panic.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin control? on: November 18, 2018, 02:14:34 PM
I think the government will find it difficult to control bitcoin, even though there is a government that has created crypto/altcoin, then it will follow the rules of the crypto which has been running on demand and cannot be controlled by anyone.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Ponzi schemes are called "Ponzi" on: November 18, 2018, 02:13:58 PM
Interesting.

Has anyone ever thought insurance could be similar to a ponzi scheme?  Huh

Well, I have wondered if insurance could be similar to a pyramid scheme or ponzi in that there are those on the top of the "pyramid" whose costs are being covered by those on the bottom. The main differences may be ponzi schemes relying more heavily upon a growth of their userbase to sustain costs, wheras insurance tends to be more institutionalized with a more thoroughly saturated userbase. And of course there is a necessity context to insurance.

In my opinion, insurance is more alike to a joint venture system and funds will be disbursed to the entitled people just as in the agreement, if there are differences in class it is natural, because the monthly fee is more expensive.
I think historically people had healthcare long before health insurance was invented.
Yes, but if the person does not have insurance, they must pay full the health costs, but if the person has insurance, they don’t need to think about the costs because the costs are covered by insurance in accordance with the agreement.

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security on: November 18, 2018, 02:11:39 PM
Someone close lost his bitcoin to some scammers who posed as an ICO project admin.
We have the wallet address but there's no way on planet earth to trace the fraudster offline.

Don't you think its high time , this is looked into.
There needs to be a way of linking account owners to their offline address .
This would mitigate  in no small measure the prevalence of frauds.
That is very unlikely. But it is best to cooperate with reputable managers and that will help us to avoid fraud. Although salary is less than other projects, we need safety.

Linking anonymous wallet addresses to people's actual names defeats it's nature of being anonymous. Anyways, wallets are pretty secure and people lose money most of the time because of their own carelessness, like in this case. Just take it as a lesson so it won't happen again.
Yes it’s a very useful event for the future because there have been a lot of scammers in ICO who claim as a team and admin of the ICO project. So don't regret if something like that happens next time I am sure you will be more careful to choose an ICO project so that it won’t happen again.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does decentralized way of doing transaction is really viable ? on: November 16, 2018, 03:07:10 PM
It depends to people who are transacting, you know and don't close your eyes about the fact that fiat, which said is protected by third parties, but still be used as a tool to commit crimes, therefore Bitcoin cannot be a scapegoat. Some time ago there was a member who made a thread about hidden fees on a credit card and after being traced it was the work of an amazon subsidiary.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not to banned or rejected on: November 16, 2018, 03:06:46 PM
It seems countries that reject Bitcoin are not more than countries support it, it's only a matter of time until they make a decision to follow other countries because inevitably they have to be part of the change if they don't want to be left behind by other countries.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was made by CIA or NSA on: November 16, 2018, 03:04:35 PM
Even if it's true so what? I don't feel aggrieved if it’s a fact, we cannot deny that behind the big creation there is a role of government there, whether they are the one who started it or take it over because they have possible access and resources. I don't think this should be a long debate, yet Satoshi himself said that he didn’t want his privacy to be revealed and we shoauld respect it.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future payment methods of bitcoin and crypto on: November 16, 2018, 03:03:50 PM
in my opinion it is very difficult to implement, because the issue of payment of employees and customers must definitely have a stable value so that there are no problems of profit or loss, this will be a problem when Bitcoin is not the country's main transaction tool, which of course is currently monopolized by Fiat later the price difference will occur. not to mention there are still problems where the state must approve the matter of payment using bitcoin and crypto if there are countries that have not agreed to it then it still cannot be applied for payment because it is illegal and the risk cannot be backed up by the government.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: November 11, 2018, 03:37:30 PM
Those people are the richest based on Google. There are a lot more that we do not even know about. They just down let people know how much money they have.
What about Satoshi Nakamoto  Grin ? I would say this person can surpass Jeff in term of wealth.
true what you convey wealth in the field of crypto currency no one can know for sure because it might be hidden and can only be seen with the result not from the deposit
the amount of wealth in the crypto field cannot be traced because basically crypto is still anonymous. how much wealth of people in this world is only wealth that has been calculated based on the value of USD, whereas if there is someone who has a lot of bitcoin it might be said to be the richest person in the world but has not been made a unit of dollars and not distributed to the public because if there are rich people who has a lot of bitcoin then the news is spread to the public so that it will be a target for crypto hackers.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Story of crypto market on: November 11, 2018, 03:17:06 PM
The first time I tried in the crypto market with great confidence because I learned a lot about how to trade on the crypto market but in the end I had a problem because to practice in the crypto market was very difficult and that's where I lost a lot of my money. But slowly I tried again and learned from my experience to recover the lost money and trying slowly to make a profit even if just a little..
33  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: November 10, 2018, 02:57:20 PM
I'll do the same choice with others. I'm always into bitcoin and will never release it on my portfolio.

I'll also put probably 25% to 50% of $10,000 to ETH. I'm into quality over quantity which others do prefer.
holding ethereum and bitcoin really give us profit.although its price move up and down, but for long term investor both of them give us high return.
Both coins are good for long term, this has been proven not only by few people here but look on how many are suggesting these coins to invest if they have $10,000 on their pocket.

if I talk about investing in crypto, then bitcoin, ETH, BCH, and EOS I think are good things for investment. well, right now, the coin is attracting the attention of many investors. but, for some things, I think, having that kind of money can make me develop a real estate business.
I agree with you rather than using $10k for crypto with an unstable price it's better to use the money for a real estate business where it will have a good profit in your real world so you can manage it together with your family if you success then that $10k can be inherited to the next generation of your family.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we overcome the hard times? on: November 10, 2018, 02:56:55 PM
Don’t need to be excessive to respond at current conditions, look at the Bitcoin price chart, how many times the market had sluggishness and bearish trends? After that Bitcoin dead and abandoned? No, there is us, there are many users still using it and still HODL. Strengthen your hands and mental!
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is a poor form of money for terrorists. on: November 10, 2018, 02:56:33 PM
I honestly find this article to be a complete bogus. Crypto is not for jihadis or terrorists. And even if it was, the main countres that we consider to be a hub for terrorists, over there crypto are banned. And there are parts in some countries where there are not even access to clean water, let alone have access to the equpment to get engaged in the crypto market

ISIS is defeated and people in islamic countries are more worried about lack of work and money than extremists blowing up their houses.
What made you say that?
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/nov/5/elimination-isis-could-take-years-pentagon-inspect/
Have you read about the article above and what do you think? ISIS cells and networks are very wide and they are supported by sympathizers of the extremist organization before.
Don't always identify Muslim countries with poor countries or people who only care about money, many Muslims also pay attention to this because it’s a parasite that grows and multiplies in their groups, and think how ISIS can upload videos and photos of their actions if they have difficulty accessing the internet? Because ISIS sympathizers are widespread, open your eyes.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: November 10, 2018, 02:55:50 PM
Crypto will remain in the future because crypto is created by bringing blockchain technology for the future. And now there are many companies are testing the blockchain and there are also some companies have implemented blockchain technology. So in my opinion Crypto will grow and become better in the future.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: between terrorists, banks and crypto on: November 10, 2018, 02:55:33 PM
According to statistics, bitcoin occupies a niche in terrorism, without it there were illegal transactions and money laundering ! I don't think the bad guys will use it as a priority !

Were there no money laundering when there the no bitcoin ?  The answer to this is No.
Bitcoin do make money laundering easy as  compare to fiat but I just don't understand this is not a drawback of the currency itself. This is the mindset of the user who use it in a negative way.
Yup, don't blame bitcoin, if someone commits a crime using bitcoin then blame the user. Bitcoin is very easy to use as a crime/terrorism tool because bitcoin is still anonymous and not all bitcoin users share their data to the public.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the banksters and governments held 90% of the Bitcoin supply, what now? on: November 10, 2018, 03:15:23 AM
We need not fear, Bitcoin community is a strong community and we grow from zero to what it is today. If they intend to destroy the price of Bitcoin, they must know that there are people who are loyal to HODL and their actions are merely vain. No matter how strong the punch is taken so it makes Bitcoin fall, but I'm sure Bitcoin will recover somehow.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make Crypto go viral? on: November 10, 2018, 03:14:57 AM
The answer is simple, we need some killer application or game linked to Bitcoin payments for this to go viral. Image if a popular online game like say, "Fortnite" would allow only Bitcoin payments for add-ons and skins or one of the popular mmorpg games like, ArcheAge, Rift, Lord of the Rings Online.  Roll Eyes

These games have millions of players and if they bought stuff regularly, then Bitcoin would go viral very quickly. The thing is, governments does not acknowledge Bitcoin as a currency.  Angry

Still it doesn't affect the segmentation of Bitcoin users because I think gamers already know about Bitcoin but again those who will pay using Bitcoin are people who have Bitcoin, not people who are willing to buy Bitcoin because only Bitcoin is accepted as a legitimate payment tool.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: November 10, 2018, 03:14:17 AM
I know trading from forex so I just have to do the same thing but change some mindset because the characteristics of Bitcoin are different from forex, so I don't study too much about "how to trade Bitcoin" but I read more news and market analysis, some portals can be a reference are cointelegraph, coindesk, and tradingview.
I have a principle, a successful person in a field is someone who wants to keep learning and that knowledge is spread everywhere.
