21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap website with low fees to trade and convert btc to ethereum ?? on: December 20, 2019, 07:07:08 PM
I wouldn't trust any new exchange out there. They could do an exit scam. There is fifty fifty percent chance that the new exchange will not profit from trading fees but instead steal your deposits and disappear forever.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best crypto projects created in 2019? on: December 20, 2019, 07:05:36 PM
Despite 100% believable use cases are, it is still the market that will dictate the prices. So if you plan to buy altcoins, look for the best use cases and look for the development team that has a good track record of finishing projects.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 17, 2019, 08:14:09 PM
I can't really say or assume anything right now because it is not as simple as everyone wants it to be, i think once the bull run appears many coin will also increase just like back in 2017 where almost all coins went very high, so i will not choice any coin, i will just wait to see bull run again.

I don't think everything will moon as hard as back in 2017, only projects with actual working products or services will rise, but they will rise way more than we saw back then. Decentralized trading solutions seems to be the next big thing these days, so I'm definitely betting a large portion of my money on Blocknet, and their oracle solution, Xrouter.

Check their DEX site here for more info: https://blockdx.com/

Actually only projects with existing and still surviving developers will rise (there are working products now that is 95% down so it doesn't really matter). A coin project without a leader or coder is considered dead, someone needs to step up to revive these coins.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 14, 2019, 07:16:01 PM
Altcoins cannot work individually without bi help of Bitcoin and some few top alternate cryptocurrencies. I have seen many coins in the coinmarketcap list and after few months that has been erased by that company due to lack of volume and supply on that coin.
sweater side we can keep Bitcoin always in your wallet which is more equalent from the alt coins you are saving.
Yes they can't, because when trading they are in pair of bitcoin and mostly all altcoins are swinging when bitcoin moves. Technically speaking altcoins cant stand by their own feet and they need to wait for a bitcoin pump and they will follow the price. But there are some altcoins that have a pump and dump by the people and usually, you can be noticed this when the market showing red and they are green price color.

It is because altcoins are considered derivatives of Bitcoin even though the technology is totally different - apart from both are blockchains. And secondly Bitcoin is the most traded and well known crypto kind of like the USD against all fiat.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Quadrant Protocol - A blueprint for mapping decentralized data on: December 14, 2019, 06:59:19 PM
Good job, Quadrant. The token has an ROI of 21.58% and 24 Hour Volume of 426,858 USD. Now please engage some interested investors about your future plans. I see EQUAD rising when the altcoin market returns from the dead.

It looks like EQUAD fell during the last four days. I assume it is connected with Bitcoin as traders are expecting huge volatility after the daily Bollliger bands are squeezed. Some EQUAD whale panicked and dump EQUAD almost to it ICO price.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest me some Good Altcoin for longterm Hold on: December 12, 2019, 04:00:09 PM
I have some eth.Everybody know many altcoin price bottom now.Do you recommened to buy Dent ,Waves ,PPT,Strat for longterm Investment.Or suggest me Your best altcoin which is bottom now.

No one can predict the bottom especially now that the markets are still re-testing support prices yet. Before you venture into altcoins, make sure that the Bitcoin price is in a trend reversal first.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: December 12, 2019, 03:57:42 PM
Overall i expect a good market by 2020 that is my last hope  after this long bearish market. And so for the alt season to come back and recover as well. However, i have a thing in mind that not all especially old tokens or coins will stay and get alive in the market after all as most of them was left behind because pf technology.

I'm beginning to think that the bear markets will last until March or April, so that the last of the weak hands are shaken out. Many like 95% expect the Bitcoin halving to save us all. But a bad omen like LTC dumping after its latest halving is casting a shadow on those expectations. The fact that the halving is so near, the Bitcoin price should be climbing right now, but its not.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: December 11, 2019, 05:40:16 PM
In recent time cryptocurrency is not in a good shape. Many peoples are losing their money because of fraud but bitcoin is in a good shape and I hope in the year of 2020 bitcoin price will rise more.So it is the high time to invest bitcoin.

Well with Halving on its way and Libra (hopefully) i believe that 2020 will be a wild year regarding cryptocurrency. I'm currently carefully looking at all altcoins and filling my alt bag. (NWC, SNX and F?#$ING MATIC) at the moment.

Why would you buy MATIC? Haven't you seen the price action? That very long dump is an exit scam dump by one of the insiders. They already planned to do it long ago.Only fools or traders who loves to risk will buy this coin. I mean it's ok to intraday trade it during an alt season. But long term, it's over.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: December 10, 2019, 04:09:31 PM
Well, the price action of Bitcoin and the rest of the altcoins does not indicate a strong trend reversal. The only thing going for cryptocurrencies is the fact of the Bitcoin halving and nobody is rushing in to buy with just 156 days left.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculation on: December 10, 2019, 04:06:31 PM
Why are we still talking about bounties? The distribution was over months ago and for those that did not pay the KYC fee, it was over since last year. The posts here give me the impression that no ICO investor came from this forum.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: December 09, 2019, 06:13:29 AM
There are Bitcoin haters here in Bitcointalk? I wonder who would find the time to create an account in this forum and then posts some hateful messages. Or maybe these accounts have been disillusioned by Bitcoin, not living up to their expectations. It is sad but a society always have these dregs.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: December 09, 2019, 03:01:39 AM
A good coin,I still remembered that I sold a good domain name of counterparty in good old times, when XCP is round 10 USD,community are actively building.

Now almost no active developments are going on. Sad

XCP was a lot of fun back in the day but now these 2014 coins are grasping for last breath

Yes, people who are holding the XCP are waiting for it to recover the price because there are many people who are waiting for the XCP to recover its price. Maybe we are in a complete downturn, which we don't know whether XCP will recover it's price or not.

If you have a hard time determining whether XCP will recover or not, just rely on the advances of technology and innovation. If XCP devs are still innovating with groundbreaking tech then it is just the market that is bearish. However, if no work is done, XCP will truly become obsolete and nobody wants to hold that.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: December 08, 2019, 01:54:41 PM
I don't think many alts would recover against Bitcoin if this happens and so they will crash even more. Some solid alts with good liquidity like Litecoin may recover but most won't recover in my opinion. Thoughts? Undecided

I don't think so. So far, most of the altcoins beyond the top 200 coins have almost zero trading volume and liquidity. It only means one thing, most of the traders and holders have left, leaving their cheap bags to the strongest hands or rather foolish hands? Anyway, zero volume, most sellers already left, nothing to dump anymore.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SIRIN LABS ICO - Secure Blockchain Consumer Electronics on: December 08, 2019, 01:49:59 PM
Well, looking at the bright side. They actually made a "blockchain" phone. A true scam wouldn't leave the whitepaper stage. Finney has a separate hardware for a cold storage wallet. It is also a one-of-a-kind. The problem is the price. It costs $1000 when you can find cheaper blockchain phones. It's like a vanity project.

I don't know about the other block chain phone in the market, but people are losing faith in this project because we don't see an accurate update about the project. I am completely in doubtful whether they are following the roadmap or not?

You should visit Sirin Labs' Telegram group at https://t.me/sirinlabs

I think Sirin Labs is focusing their marketing towards Asia. I see pictures of product launches in Bangladesh and Singapore. I think it is safe to say that Moshe Hogeg is not in charge of Sirin Labs or Finney anymore. I hope the new guys has marketing moxy.

Binance.US Will List Nano (NANO)

(click on the image to read)
snip

Is this a bump up? Yeah, I see good things with a Binance US listing. When a proper altcoin season comes, new American traders and investors will be buying on Nano because it is so damm simple yet good. Just waitin for godot.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: December 05, 2019, 02:42:06 PM
I would rather wait for an actual trend reversal and or a major breakthough development that addresses the centralization of NEO. For me, more NEO nodes, more confident I get. I don't want a sudden death of the NEO platform like what plagued other coins.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: December 05, 2019, 02:39:04 PM
This update is simply amazing:

V20 Lydia is live

https://medium.com/nanocurrency/v20-lydia-is-live-4f50d14799b1

Quite surprised to see such a big development.

Yeah, it makes me smile in spite of the bear markets, Nano developers are all about making Nano better. Reading the update log, it makes you realize how hard it is to make an original concept work. None of those copy and paste clones or hard forked ones.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculation on: December 05, 2019, 02:32:24 PM
No offense but I prefer to value more the comments that come from ICO buyers or people who actually spent ETH or BTC to get Atlant's token. Opinions have a different quality when it is expressed by people who have skin in the game- maybe even those who lost a substantial amount.
True but you can rarely find investors here sharing their opinion on the project, I guess they are all staying in the telegram channel as they are getting more updated information their, and this is not their official ANN thread as it was already locked for some reason.

The official ANN thread was locked, actually it was rather "deleted" because the OP or the dev team can't stomach criticism whether legit or not. And they see no reason to update or keep reading negative comments.

The telegram channel is not a good source for feedback since every dissident is banned instantly. However, it is where you get official announcements and team commentary.

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Worldopo - Economic Dapp game, Crypto using AR and Geo on: December 04, 2019, 04:17:36 PM
According to one of the game developers of Worldopo:

Quote
Good evening. Since we have not updated versions for a long time and rarely respond to messages, I want to tell you what we are doing now:
1. We finish checks on a test server with the correct distribution of people in buildings.
2. Check on the test server the correct production of gems in farms. Previously, too many gems were produced, now there are very few.
3. We are working on another mini-game inside World Dopo, and we are developing daily tasks for players so that you have something to do besides repairing buildings and collecting resources.
4. We are finalizing global game optimization. The game will run faster.

We will try to complete these tasks by the end of the week.

So basically the worker bees just keep on grinding out, producing more gaming features.
