It solely depends on the owner of the site to decide what their house edge can be. So I have been trying to wrap my head around which is a better option, day trading crypto or buying for long term keep.
While they both have their pros and cons, they both come with a form of risk and they are meant to generate profit.
The major difference between them is that day trading tend to make profit from small market volatility, while hodling make profit from the bigger change in crypto value.

First the ICO, then the IEO, then the NFT and now meme coins.
Despite being here all the way through I have been unable to make profits from these hypes.
May be because I have just been holding BTC paitently or noticed the hypes only when they were at peak.

First of all I would accept that I am a fan of Solana because of its technological advancement, and its potential to play a significant role in block chain echo system. The credit goes to its professional team who continuously struggle to make Solana a great block chain that provides servies to its customers at a very competitive transaction fees.
Regarding its potential in future, I think it has not yet shown its real color despite the fact that it has demonstrated tremendous growth during the past six months. There is anticipation that Solana could surpass its all time high of $260 in the upcoming bullish market
It could surpass its ATH if the "meme" coins craze continues. That's what's keeping the "flow" going. Aside from the fact that Solana has cheaper fees than most popular smart contract platforms. The only downside is the network outages. If Solana achieves stability, it might topple ETH someday. Who knows? I'm surprised it has gotten this far despite being linked with FTX. Investors prefer this coin for some reason. The market is unpredictable, so I'd suggest you diversify your investment just to be safe.  The network outages are a major reason why I had to exit Solana despite being a huge fan of it. I had a decent bag of Solana but sold it in the bear market. Now that Solana is back on track and pumping hard I regret selling so low. But the network outages are still a huge concern for me and that is the reason why I won't be buying the same bag size again. May be a very little amount of SOL but that would be it. |

Currently I am very optimistic about ethereum and Binance, because I think these two altcoins have enormous potential, popularity and existence in the crypto market, and I am very confident that these two altcoins will become priority altcoins of all time,
Binance is an exchange and we can never predict the fate of an exchange. Although it's currently the best exchange out there it still is little risky to bet on it. For the time being it might be a good option thought but do not consider holding it for a long time. ETH is the only altcoin that I have invested in and I hope it pumps hard in this bull run. |

I have been telling everyone around here to stop using international exchanges like Binance and Kucoin if you don't want any legal issues. Whatever has happened behind the doors between the government and the exchange will not come out in public domain. We can only speculate what might happen in the future. We will need to wait till July to understand how much deep we are in the hole when the government comes out with the full budget.
I know it might not seem possible for my fellow countrymates here, but keep the fiat for the daily spending and keep the bitcoin in the wallets till things settle and just wait it out till the government gets their pants back on.  The only question is how long one would have to keep their coins in limbo in a wallet before being able to spend, because many of you are freelancing on bitcoin payments.  You have answered your own question here in the bolded part. Even thought the government will now have all the data from Binance, people will still be trading on binance just because they don't have many other options yet. Although there are few other international exchanges to use but none of them are as good as binance to be honest. That being said, it has just become a matter of prority now for the individuals. |

I allocate 35% for this and i choose 3 decent altcoins.

Then i wait crash days and i divide my 35% of my budget 1000$ for this so 350$ i'll distribute equally with 3 coins.

First of all, you should correct your math. 3x350$ is equals to 1050$ which is 50$ over your budget of 1000$. Also I don’t understand your strategy since how can you do DCA if you allocated already all your balance on one go by buying the 35% each on the coin that you choose? You didn’t mention what balance you will use for your DCA after your initial purchase using the 34% of your funds. I think it's bulletproof way to making gains over the few months. You simply do normal buy low and sell high. If this method is very simple to pull off without any risk of failure then everyone should be rich on trading. This is not a bulletproof unless you have a lot of time if ever your funds stuck on this altcoin when bear season come. Yes, the strategy is very simple yet many traders fail to earn a decent amount of money using this strategy. I guess what OP means is he has divided the amount of $1000 into a 3 buckets for the 3 altcoins mentioned. He then uses $10 out of each bucket to buy the 3 altcoins respectively until he is in profit and then takes the profit. I would just say that keep doing what you are doing until you are in profit and revamp your strategy if you make continuous losses. |

This is quite a good strategy considering the fact that you are able to control your emotions and continue with the strategy, it makes you a disciplined gambler.
The odds depends from person to person. I mean for some 2x might be a little risky and so they can consider the same strategy with 1.5x odds.
For some gamblers, 2x might not be sufficient and so they can opt for 3x or more depending on their risk taking capability.
We can even decide days on which we can set the odds for example Monday is for 1.25x, Tuesday is for 1.5x and so on..
the goal is to limit the amount of money wagered and the amount of winnings that is considered satisfactory. Of course, everyone will have a different winning target. but what becomes a little boring is when the game just drags out the game for a longer time. like when you lose 10 rounds and then win 10 rounds, even though the value is definitely different, if the situation keeps repeating itself it will only lead to boredom. A passcode is needed to access the funds on a ledger right, then how come someone stole the funds.
May be someone had the access to the wallets seed phrase and the possibility of that happening is high if he stored it on his computer.
May be OP's circle is not so good and someone from his circle got hold of his seed phrase and emptied the wallet.
