21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Longterm Price Target on: August 18, 2022, 08:23:36 PM
It's very hard to predict such thing, all of the information of how much Bitcoin would cost this year or after 5-10 years etc. are just mere speculations. My opinion on this matter is that let's just support Bitcoin and continue to use it until it hit its peak (highest price), because no matter how much effort we put in prediction, Bitcoin's price will be its price and we are all going to be benefited because of our patient in waiting for that moment.

The calculations for me is also pointless, there are so many factors that may or may not happen. Even 50% adoption is mere speculation. We have no clue to when bitcoin will survive. The long lifespan is also not a guarantee as technology can easily be replaced by a new one. We are just hoping that bitcoin will live long in this market.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu pumping , why? Hold or Sell? on: August 17, 2022, 11:58:35 PM
If you already get a profit, then what's wrong with selling it. This might be the best way so you can feel more comfortable and calm, especially the tokens you buy are meme tokens which can be said in my opinion very risky if held for too long. Because as we know meme tokens are mostly just for fun, the clarity of the purpose of this project for me is not convincing.
agreed investing in meme coin in general only good short term, long term it's usually very disappointing result at the end of the day.
i think if someone already make some good return from investing in meme coin they should just invest in other coin that's better just like eth and bnb so that they didn't easily lose their investments in the future.

Very rare that a meme token is surviving long term. The lifespan is usually short because once the hype is over, they are basically done. SHIB for me is not a tangible investment for long-term. They can easily be abandoned by the team just like many other meme tokens. After couple of years, I have the feeling that the fate of this token will be the same as most tokens that have long been forgotten already.

Wondering if the project will reach to the timeline of having the Bugatti giveaway. But since the private sale is sold out, I am thinking that this project has the chance to move forward. But most community driven projects do not last long. Let us see if this one will break the norm.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WIZARDIA - METAVERSE P2E GAME WITH MAGIC REWARDS on: August 15, 2022, 11:54:08 PM
P2E gaming platforms are still getting interest as the gaming community around the globe is huge. However, not all P2E platforms will achieve success on this field. So what do you think will be your unique edge over the existing and known P2E gaming platform, let's say Axie infinity?

It seems that forum users are not interested on this business venture. Do you think this project will push thru even if there are no sufficient users on board? What are the strategies of the team to increase the audience of this project?
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 truths about bitcoin, in my opinion? on: August 15, 2022, 10:09:51 PM
1. Bitcoin will probably make a lot of people rich especially for long term holders... again
Yes exactly, especially if they buy the BTC in the bearish market and sell them in the bullish era. But many people or especially newbies are not patient to wait for the long term. However they may be panic enough when the price of the BTC is dropped again and again.

3. Bitcoin can save the world
I read some news and history about how Bitcoin can save the world, how Bitcoin can really save someone's life, like what happened in some certain countries, they are still able to buy food and other things to do in their life because of Bitcoin. But, why do many people hate BTC so much?

4. Bitcoin is not very easy to understand and there is too much misinformation about it.
It is also a process to understand Bitcoin technically. This may not be easy for many people especial the one that is not familiar with this kind of certain technology. But, this doesn't mean that it cannot be understood. This is only  a way for learning more

Many people hate btc for some reasons, like they lost their investments because of scam projects. But it is not the fault of BTC if you will think of it. The rise of scam projects is owed to the fact that most of these scammers create crap projects to screw their investors, not because of BTC. BTC can't save the world per se, but it is helping a lot of people survive especially during this pandemic crisis.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people more and more people depend from this on: August 14, 2022, 11:23:18 PM
Getting bothered about Bitcoin been long or short each day should be a case of concern for day traders. For long term investors the only care about holding and consistently holding till the bull market resumes. Getting worried about daily candle can stir up high blood pressure because the trend isn't well defined at the moment as such prices will continually stay so inconsistent

That is true, if you are not a day trader, you don't need to stress yourself about this. So not all people are thinking about long or short every day. For most long-time holders, they have certain period or price they are targeting to cash out. But it is definitely not every day they are worried about the market movement.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu pumping , why? Hold or Sell? on: August 14, 2022, 10:54:31 PM
We’ve seen a great green candles in cryptomarket in general and not just with SHIB, probably because of the hype and that’s why its price started to pump again for at least 20%.

This is a normal scenario since we came from a bear market and since SHIB has a huge community hyping the project, that pump is pretty obvious. Don’t get hyped by the trend, try to analyze and if you are able to bough at a cheaper price then taking profit might be a good idea.

This is what I am thinking also, if the OP is already in profit, why not think of selling it? You'll never see if this opportunity will come again. In my opinion, in another 2-3 years, I believe SHIB is barely surviving, as people may be tired of hyping up this token. But as a holder, it is always your own prerogative when to sell, just follow your own instincts as it is your token.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Webcash: A new Proof-of-Work digital currency based on e-cash on: August 13, 2022, 11:52:44 PM
By saying that it's killer value comes from being dead simple, does it mean that its sort of OSI-fied and there are no future features planned? If so, then it seems it's up to the userbase and its in-the-wild adoption to progress it or through social pressure show a need for more features.

It certainly sounds interesting and not so lame as other altcoins, but I wonder if everyone will just say it's interesting and it will just slowly die into obscurity, kind of similar to Mimblewimble but without as much innovation.

Personally I think it's still missing something, maybe in the area of atomic swaps and permissionless invisible tokens so the server operator doesn't a responsibility.

I will try to follow more, tho.

Maybe, I will just wait for this coin to be really used in the e-payment sector. The intentions may be authentic but sometimes it is how you market a project so people will indeed use it. The question is, will merchants/shops integrate this in their payment system? Remember they have a lot of choices aside from bitcoin and thousands of alts that are already existing. So what makes this coin an outstanding candidate for the payment sector?
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Tips to save my finances, to grow personal economy on: August 13, 2022, 11:07:17 PM

simple life but still fun.

maybe you can add tips from your experience all.

Thank You.
Nothing comes in easy
I think most of the time people get the financial freedom after a hard hit on them - they become tough and more rigid with their financial dealing and with the people. Happend with me not sure about other.

They'd have to go through a lot of difficulties in life before learning. Finance can be harder to manage when they already have few options and sometimes the job itself is making it more difficult. Its why some people prefer to just manage a small business like selling streetfood because its way easier and the money that comes with it is not fixed.

Best to so is to not spend more than what you have.

Also, if you have extra, try to invest it like in real-estate, jewelry, and or stocks. Find a way how to increase your money. Because if you will just let it sit for example in banks, the interest is very small. Unless, you are putting it in a time deposit or other investment options. You may not own a business, but you can invest in stocks. But before going into this, of course you should have prior knowledge before investing in any of the companies.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Cap Records New Two Month High; Is Correction Over? on: August 12, 2022, 11:29:43 PM
We’re dealing with the sideways trend for the almost 2 months now and safe to say that correction can still happen if Bitcoin can’t break the resistance and the good thing here is that, BTC able to do it and slowly we are pumping again. This might not be enough but if we see more green candles then that is the confirmation that this market is about to rise again and will soon enter into a bull market.

But we can't still be very sure that such situation will happen. Remember, we can even see dramatic change over 24 hours. But in any case, you can always prepare yourself what to do today if you believe there will be upcoming bullish run. We are just merely waiting what will happen next to the crypto market. One great news and we may be seeing uptick in the market, who knows?
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: August 12, 2022, 10:54:09 PM
Credit cards are either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you will use it. If you use it to buy something that you need and then pay the debt, usually you will have a % cash back on the purchase you made. The most important thing about credit card is the discipline.

Actually, the benefits of credit cards were originally to help people buy goods or pay bills even though they didn't have cash. Sometimes we have
an urgent need, while we don't have money, so we can use a credit card. Later we can determine when we can pay credit card bills, it can be
in the form of installments or paid at once in a predetermined period. The use of credit cards also provides benefits for users by providing cashback
and discounts. If we use credit cards properly, it will benefit us as users.

The problem is that we can become addicted to debt, so sometimes we have cash at the time but we prefer to use a credit card. In the end our debt
will get bigger and we will find it difficult to pay it off. That's why it's important that we use credit cards wisely and responsibly. I myself was stuck
in a fairly large debt because I could not control myself when using a credit card. So for now I prefer not to use a credit card at all.

Credit card is a good thing if you know how to handle your finances. Sometimes it is a savior if you happen to have no cash and you badly need to buy the item before you go home. But if you haven't been religiously paying your monthly dues for your credit card, that's when you start having troubles, as the charges will be piling up.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Fall Below The Previous 20k ATH possible? on: August 11, 2022, 11:51:33 PM
I believe that the second half of 2022 will be positive, July is the start of a revival, prices rise from $18k to over $23k, investors earn more than 30% profit within a month if they buy when the price dips and sell now, but I suggest to keep buying, the opportunity for rising is very big and makes me optimistic that August will reach $40k.
Over two weeks now bitcoin has been moving up and down positively and the many people recinto jubilation especially people that hold cryptocurrency for long time. And from your observation I believe that cryptocurrency will have a good u turn within the month of September and October in this year 2022. Bitcoin is coming up I seen that cryptocurrency is also increasing in so many countries that inflation he's holding.so I believe that there is a lot of improvement over cryptocurrency in July and it will keep on going
We have just to believe and think that the market will not be always on the downtrend, ups are still possible despite the current situation. I'd see the sacrifice made by these investors but they seem not hopeless believing that there is still the chance to see Bitcoin rallying back high someday. This year is somewhat uncertain but predicted that the bear season remains until December and might be extended in the 1st quarter of 2023.

In all honesty, no one can predict what will happen next. We are all just speculating what's next in this market and possibly doing some analysis on what coins  to store while waiting for the right timing to sell your coins. In any case, such prediction is a positive one wherein, it is giving hope to holders and possibly for the newcomers in this market.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ALPH] AlphaPlay Earn by playing games you actually like! on: August 11, 2022, 10:56:38 PM
Crowdsourcing these days is quite hard. If you happen not to collect sufficient amount of funds during public sale, do you have other means to push thru this project? Because relying from crowdsourcing is not an assurance in this current market. Better look for alternative options that can finance your P2E gaming platform.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading more efficiently on: August 11, 2022, 09:54:08 PM
If you're concerned about looking at the chart everytime then you can go for dual monitor setup, no need to buy expensive monitor you can even use a cheap 18 inch monitor or use your TV as monitor with VGA or HDMI port so you will have no difficulties.
I would say that if you could even have like different monitors for it, that would be better. That way you could get like 3 monitors that are very cheap, and that would be for your trading computer, and if you are dealing with like playing a computer game then you will be dealing with something else. That's quite good and I agree that not many people consider that as an option but I do agree with them on the point that it would be something for professional traders.

Like for me, just one PC and one Monitor is enough because I do not trade that much and I am fine with the current situation, anything more than this doesn't sound like something I would need at all.

I do agree that you don't need expensive monitors just to cater your trading activities. As long as the monitor is serving its purpose, go for it. In time, if you are already doing good with your trading, you can very well upgrade your gadgets if you want to. But for the meantime, better use what is available to you. What you need to focus on is how to acquire those trading tips and tricks so you can do better with your trading. It will be more important on how to generate good profits rather than focus on the equipment.

37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: August 10, 2022, 11:17:02 PM
a bear market is always an advantage to those who have smart plans for their portfolio since they're presented with the opportunity to diversify and accumulate more assets during a bear market, but if one is not careful you may end up with garbage coins if the price is what motivates your decision to buy them. The best asset to accumulate is Bitcoin during a bear market since one will be sure of its price increase in the future so that knowledge will build your confidence.

Definitely, if you will buy those cheap alts with no reason to exist, high likely that they will lose their value later on. However, if you will stick to BTC, you can have assurance that it will stay in the market. Most alts will give you disappointment as they can easily be abandoned by their respective developers. But when it comes to BTC, you can sleep at night because BTC market won't go anywhere.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about smart contract projects on: August 10, 2022, 10:39:37 PM
Do you think that games on solana blockchain will do better than those on ethereum blockchain?
Doing better will depend on who's looking at. We've got biases and even if the other is being successful but we don't hold it, we'll say that we still have the best despite not being successful.

Also after the Ethereum PoS switch will other projects matter?
Still, it's because there's the competition. But on this matter, then others might also do some updates that shall take the spotlight of Ethereum by that time it happens.

If Ethereum can finally fixed its gas fee and have a limited supply wouldn't Ethereum blockchain be more attractive than every other?.
Yes it is.

For me, it still depends on the game developer how they will market their gaming platform itself, so whether it is under SOL or ETH, you can never have absolute answer on this matter. But of course, once eth network reduced their fees significantly, it will be a very good attraction to users and developers. But whether SOL or ETH, the games have their fair competition.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: August 09, 2022, 11:36:38 PM
I'd see the effort you made OP. Many have made their own search online but I see it was more effective if there is someone who would teach you personally and can answer questions directly and in detail. Doing this is not easy but as you are motivated to do this, nothing will come to your mind. I hope your neighbors will never miss this chance and they will appreciate the hard work you've made in order to see the good things about Bitcoin and have the idea why many people had take the risk of investing in this.

That was the good start of their crypto journey as they understand it.

He can also introduce this forum to these "students" as definitely they will get tons of info that they can't find over other sites. There are important discussions that they can also get insights of, just like in installing the wallet, compiling if they want to learn, a lot of discussions when it comes to trading and new alts, and many others.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: August 09, 2022, 10:50:25 PM
Trading is at maximum a side hustle. It cannot be a job because of the speculative nature and the uncertainties associated with it. This applies to all types of trading.

So if a family member is willing to get into it, explain the same to them and tell them that it cannot be their main job. The main job should be one with a fixed income every month or so.

The technical analysis is pseudoscience and only correct at times. It is better used to predict rather than take decisions. Otherwise everyone doing TA would have been a millionaire already.
It cannot be a stable job but sometimes, the profits you get from it exceeds from your job’s income. But only professional traders can make it possible to happen, as newbies will only ruin and mess up in trading. However, seeing trading alone as your only source of income brings a lot of risks and uncertainties, so it’s better if you can have a good and stable job, and only makes trading as your second source of income.

That's a fair piece of advice. Because let us admit, even long-time traders can't assure their good profits. It is not everyday that they can earn decent profits to supplement their living. So yes, better not give up your job as your bread and butter, and just make your trading as another source of possible income. But if you feel you are doing good already in trading and you can let go your main job, why not?
