661  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 13, 2021, 09:39:09 PM
That would only be possible in the case of centralization, because, obviously, all money supply can't be left without control (at least now it is hard to imagine how that could be regulated).
If the governments accept cryptocurrency (meaning actual crypto, NOT digital currencies) as an official way of payment - they will start looking for regulations to control it, track the movement of funds, and that would basically destroy the purpose of cryptocurrencies.

This is why a lot of governments are still hesitant with bitcoin or other crypto because they don't know yet how to regulate this type of currency. That's why crypto can't replace fiat anytime soon. The government has full control about their fiat currency but with crypto, still vague for them on how to manage this new payment system. For crypto users, they don't want government poking on their crypto transactions as that's not the reason why crypto was created. Bottomline, we don't see crypto replacing fiat. There are so many factors to consider. But we are happy if our government is not too strict dealing with our crypto.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Charlo vs Castano - July 17 on: July 13, 2021, 12:06:22 PM
~
The height has a pros and cons and yes, there's a lot of boxing fight with the same situation with a different result. Charlo is my bet on this match looking at his records and experience, that almost a year of inactivity will not matter because he will go for training and that will makes him more fit again. This is not an easy match even the odds says it all, this is an exciting one.
Sometimes inactivity can take a toll to a fighter especially if they aren't doing any maintenance training which means that they will have to work double time when they are training again for a fight. I think that the height is going to be a pros in this match since Charlo has the experience.

Few more days and we will see if they indeed both prepare for this fight. Once inside the ring, that's when we know what kind of performance they will give to the audience. But putting my bet on Charlo here as well. The advantages are on his favor so hopefully he did his preparation here. Should not underestimate Castano.
663  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is LISTED🔥 BUY🔺SELL🔺EXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 13, 2021, 11:30:41 AM
Agree. More exchanges needed. Biswap dex was created by betfury to trade their own tokens there. I remember how betfury mentioned that they plan to be in top among first 100 altcoin. With one exchange that can not be achieved, even several exchanges are not enough. Exchange with the level of okex or bitfinex are needed to achieve that.

Why not start with easier one with very good liquidity - the pancakeswap, as mentioned by other members also? Because if they will go to popular CEX, they will end up paying high amount of fees, which they can very well allot with their developments already. But right now, a lot are waiting for the farming feature. And let us see what it will give as a potential source of passive income.
664  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | The highest Payout + Free BTC + Multi-Bet Insurance on: July 13, 2021, 06:12:10 AM
There is no restriction on live or pre-match, but live bets are critical, and placing a bet depends on the situation of the event and a lot of things that impact the event. that is why you could not place a bet sometimes.
You probably should fix that problem right now in my opinion because you can potentially lose some customers who are more of a live bettor than a pre game kind. I don't think that there's anything wrong with betting at a live game although it should always depend as to what's the time of the game, if it's early, mid or late, to avoid the possibility of abuse.

If they are not ready for that and may be one source of abuse, better pause the live bets for now up until the site can make their adjustments from their end. But need to act fast as there are really some live bettors here.
By the way, are you going to list some future competitions in boxing like the Pacquiao-Spence Jr.? Some bookies already have this match.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 12, 2021, 10:46:21 PM

In the press conference, when Pacquiao was asked who he thinks the toughest boxer between Keith Thurman and Errol Spence Jr. , he points out that it's been a long time that he hasn't face a SouthPaw fighter so he can't compare Spence over Thurman. Pacquiao mostly faces an orthodox fighter so he's more of aware countering that stance compares to a SouthPaw. The last time he fought a SouthPaw was in 2008 against David Diaz on which Manny won via impressive Round 9 TKO.

Pacquiao is a Southpaw but it makes me think it's really hard to deal with the same stance as him since most of the time, his counter was only meant for an orthodox stance. However, should not be a problem for an experienced boxer like him.
Lets put some link for that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhwTbug-9NY

I saw this interview too on both fighters, i do like that both is really appreciating others capability in the boxing ring, both are humble i can say and i actually smirked

when the question about Keith thurman. When it comes to that Southpaw thingy i dont see any major issues about the differences.

We will be watching another explosive toe-to-toe fight here. Very far from those exhibition fights. Both are humble and Spence felt honored to face Pacquiao as he considers him as legend in boxing. I don't think we will be hearing trash talks here. This fight will sell even without trash talk. Spence has the advantage of reach and age, but Pacquiao has the experience so this will be a very interesting match to watch out for.
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: July 12, 2021, 05:49:37 PM
So are we expecting that futuur team will make some sort of promotion to remind their followers about this development?
Promotions will definitely give a lot of attention back to Futuur, maybe promos like the ones which they have held before can attract more players, like this one Futuur • Predict & Profit! • Free Prizes for Top Forecasters!
I remember this one when @Hhampuz beats the game and become the winner   Grin

But of course Promotion will keep bringing good effect to the site and hope they will continue promoting in this forum like what they did recently .

Going back to this site, I only have Ooms coins here and my win rate is 81% so far and still has some bets that results will be known at the end of this year.  Grin I think, with other alts now, I can use my TRX to play. But where can we find the min requirements for deposit? I couldn't find the details when you press the depo button, so I am assuming, there's no minimum deposit required?
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: July 12, 2021, 10:03:23 AM
-
Conclusion: @Monarch- runs a gambling site and Roobet also does the same thing, I don't know where the problem started from, what is clear is my assessment in this thread 'drops' each other.

For that I recommend @Monarch-, it's not good to blame each other, business will be successful if we support each other, don't blame each other for weaknesses and shortcomings of other sites, whose authenticity is unknown.

Very well said. Using fake bets is not a new strategy of any starting casino. The important is how they do business after that. Are they screwing players? If not, then, for me, there's no problem with using fake bets because that's part of their strategy to entice players. As long as they are not scamming the players during their stay on the site. And that fake bets will be gone once they establish their market.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cashaa [CAS] – Banking on the Blockchain and Institutional Adoption on: July 11, 2021, 11:51:19 PM
This project seems worth checking at. The awards and business customers will give you idea that they are somewhat established company already. If those companies are trusting their services, it means, they are doing something right. So I am in the impression that they don't need crowdsourcing here to raise funds because they already have working company. Is that right?
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - 🔥 🚀 Minereum BSC (MNEB) is now live on Binance Smart Chain 🚀 on: July 11, 2021, 11:05:46 PM
if you upgrade to level 3 for 0.9 BNB, does this give the instant ability to send/trade the frozen 150000 MNEB airdrop or is it only mined MNEB on top of the 150K? Very few people have upgraded and I understand the doubt behind this.

No, you only have the chance to *mine those 150,000 MNEB in incremental value approximately 4-5 MNEB per day. Please read the fine print properly in their website before you part ways with your BNB coins.

Once you upgraded to level 3, you can transfer only the mined MNEB not the whole lot of 150k. So yes, I agree with Xsinx, think if it is really okay for you to pay 0.9BNB upfront. It will take time to recover such amount as you are only mining about 4-5 MNEB per day. And the price in pancakeswap is decreasing.
670  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCRYPT.IO - Decentralized Sportsbook & Casino | NO KYC | Deposit Bonus ⚽️🎰 on: July 11, 2021, 09:55:16 PM
Hey guys. I can only guess why they think this game is ‘dishonest’. Maybe because it's not a major football league and 5.5 odds are too high for them  Roll Eyes But odds were correct as I placed bets on home win right after away team goal. I contacted their support 5 days ago and was told that my case will be resolved shortly, nothing new since then. Info about 1095 days investigation i've found on their website https://betcrypt.io/#betting-integrity.

They should honor what they say to their players. Shortly means long days of waiting? I guess, if they want to attract more players, they will resolve issues in prompt manner so they are not leaving the player hanging. And with good experience, they can endorse it to others. Anyway, I hope you resolve your case soon.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: July 10, 2021, 11:48:08 PM
Yes, everyone is free to decide whether they want to invest in BTC or gold, everyone has their own perspective, for myself when looking at the price, BTC is easier to increase, but gold has an advantage where the price tends to be more stable.
That's right, and I personally have also chosen both for a long time to be an investment asset in the long term, because when I have money, I always divide it into two parts, half for BTC and half for Gold, because I think both are clearly the same good to choose.
diversify into gold and bitcoin was best decision ever in our investment. Gold price history from year to year show its as best assets, with limited supply like gold bitcoin also show impressive price history every 4 years.maybe for next 4 or 5 years from now on , our investment in gold and bitcoin could growth more than 3x. fiat have huge inflation and put our money into limited assets was good decision.

Diversification is really good in terms of investments. Gold which has been here since humankind exists, is still very valuable today. But it depends on the priorities of the person himself. Sometimes they will choose crypto because it is easy to handle, whereas with gold, it needs a lot of documentation. But if you can afford to invest in these 2, that would be better. We can say, btc may be valuable in terms of price as compared to gold. But gold has other tangible uses that crypto can never offer like in electronics or even mining equipment. Without gold, I don't think there will be equipment that you can use to mine btc.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 10, 2021, 10:49:00 PM

There will always people who will play in a lottery that is why it's a big attraction for casinos and now on exchanges, this is one of the reasons why Pancake is big right now, they not only attract traders but lottery bettors as well but $15 for one ticket alone is quite big I prefer to bet in our lottery where you can only bet for only $0.50 for a chance to win millions.

Maybe your chance of winning is high in this pancake lottery system because the number of buyers are not that big. Whereas if the amount of lottery ticket is cheap, the number of people who can afford is many that your winning chance becomes very very slim. Anyway, it all depends on the user. If pancake is doing this regularly, then, it means, they are attracting lottery ticket buyers. And the prize is quite attractive.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Avalanche - Open Source Platform for Decentralized Applications on: July 10, 2021, 09:51:19 PM
I thought, AVAX has thread already in this forum. Is this a new one? And are you referring to the same AVAX project - https://www.avax.network/? The avalabs team is one of the teams that has high number of people working on a specific project. It means, they are really working on something big here.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 09, 2021, 11:37:27 PM

This is interesting to see if Spence can really send Pacquiao to retirement or it is the other way around? As the fight is getting near, would like to see the odds of the popular sportsbooks here, if they will change their odds or not. Because as of right now, Spence is their favorite. Will the odds change a week before the fight and if they see how prepared Pacquiao is?
675  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅🍅 wintomato.com 🍅Dice 🍅 Slots 🍅 Sport Betting on: July 09, 2021, 10:42:56 PM
This site is up and running again. But no sports betting yet. They should give brief announcement when is their target launch for sports betting.

Also, be aware as they are charging for those inactive accounts, if your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months as per section 7 of T&C. So if you don't want to play anymore on this site, better withdraw your funds before you forgot you have sizable amount on their site.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin caused the mass production of altcoins and air coins on: July 08, 2021, 11:59:42 PM
Of course, bitcoin is the main driving force for the evolution of most altcoins but, it ain't the reason for its continuity and success. Many projects have tapped into the ideas and concepts surrounding it but then, not so many has been successful and so many still would always continue to fail out becuase, they don't solve any real problem. For a coin to be successful or a project, its got to solve a problem in the market and have some uniqueness about its futures. These are the things investors look out for to determine if a project is going to be successful or not. Most of what we have now are just baseless pump and dump coins.
This is what should be expected because anything on this world become a trend then expect that there would be something new that would be created correlated to it because they do know that it can possibly give them profits when they do get some market share.

We have seen on how the market is been flooded with lots of projects and it turns out that majority of it is just pure garbage or shit tokens in short.

Thing here is that you do know on how to to deal with your investment despite of the lots of coins in the market. When trend is hot then for sure there would be lots will be following.

People have seen the impact of btc in the market throughout these years and how they can get money out of it. So they start copying and imitating projects. The reason why there are a lot of fork of forks and copycats. Also, a lot found out that they can deceive investors without disclosing their identities. Which is actually one of the negative outcome of being anonymous. With the proliferation of these alts, the user should know how to differentiate a legit over fake/crap/scam project. Because no one can help you when you want to recover your funds from a failed investment.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 08, 2021, 11:15:24 PM

What I observed about Inoue is that he is fast but he lacks head movement, that's why he got hit in the face with some good counter by Donaire, however, Inoue is also strong, he always come back and hit donaire with some pair of heavy shots as well.
Inoue relies on his power that's why he is aggressive, but with the experience against Donaire, I guess they will improve his style and the head movement will also be improved. Inoue may be as powerful as Pacquiao, but he is not a complete boxer yet, so he still needs to improve, however, on his division which is the bantam weight, it's very clear that he is the king, especially if he beats Donaire again and take his belt in a unification fight.
He's still young and its normal that he would really be gaining more experience as he moved forward but looking into stats then this kid isnt something ordinary. Power is there and gradually as he fought boxers ahead
his technical skills do become much more better and you can see it on that recent fight against dasmarinas.
When this boy do gain sufficient experience then this would even more become an unbeatable monster. Not to underestimate Donaire but age is one of factors too that do affect
performance.
Lets see if they do make out some adjustments that they had experienced on last fight and might able to make out some upset on here.

For sure, they will make adjustments with their techniques here. As they pretty know each other by now when it comes to the ring. They need to alter their strategies and we will see that if indeed this fight will soon happen. As both are relatively fresh with their previous fights, they can easily go back to their training routine. But in terms of odds, I am certain, bookies will favor Inoue here over Donaire.

678  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITGAME|🔥🚀Crypto's Hottest Betting Site|🔥🚀|🎁100% Bonus On 1st Deposits🎁 on: July 08, 2021, 09:50:54 PM
Been seeing the ad of this site outside the forum. Good to know that they finally created their own thread here. This will be nice to add more players on their platform. And also, would be good for forum players, as they can easily get in touch with the bitgame staff.

On the note of crypto accepted, I saw LUT, first time to hear this coin. Tried to check this in cmc and coingecko, but to no avail. So don't know where one can get this coin?
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never sell your Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2021, 11:18:59 PM
I don't live in a country where Bitcoin is legal for payment transaction.
But, I also don't spend it for last long life investment. I am a short holder and also day trade. SO, I think it will depend on our passion and also our goal of earning and having Bitcoin. So do the other cryptocurrencies.
I am psure enough that everybody has their own chance and strategy to earn money and utilize Bitcoin.

But you can convert your bitcoin to your local fiat? Anyway, a lot of countries are now opening to the acceptance of bitcoin or other alts in their payment method, so sooner or later your country may do the same. And more than likely the price of btc is quite valuable that you don't want it to use for payment purposes. Most long-time btc holders have the aim to get big profit by waiting to hit their target price. And based from the btc moving average chart, we are bound to see high price of btc in the coming years.
680  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: July 07, 2021, 10:37:14 PM
There are several possible explanations to this situation.
It could be possible that the brothers were themselves victim of some scam and the only available option is to abscond to avoid paying the debt of $3.6 billion. It is a huge sum of money and absconding might seem as the best alternative.
It could also be possible that the two brothers are the scammers who used an exchange to scam people of their hard earned money and after successfully carrying out their scam ran away.
Anyways, I do hope the funds are recovered because this means a lot of people would lose money and it is possible for some to have lost their life savings.

It is not an exchange platform but an investment platform. So more than likely, they are running ponzi scheme here up until they can no longer pay their investors. Definitely, before they disappear, they already worked out plans on how to liquidate those large sum of money. They may have gone already to a third world country and enjoying a Piña colada. But unfortunate for those who trusted them with their hard-earned money/life savings.
