301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's pay attention to BNB? on: November 09, 2021, 04:28:06 PM
Currently, the price of BNB has reached 600 dollars more and our prediction at the end of this year can reach 1k dollars, and this could happen because the development of BNB is very extraordinary and this is all our hope that later it can match the price of ethereum, all this could happen because BNB has established a BSC network that is currently many users so that the achievement of the 1k price will not be impossible, Investing in BNB is the right choice.

I won't be surprised if BNB tops between $1.5K to $1.7K in this current bull run. Binance is seriously putting a lot of efforts into ensuring their continously value keeps flowing into their platform token. That and quarterly burn of BNB makes it lucrative for people to keep invesying. I mean, it's deflationary at best and that's something I love to see more than anything before I invest in a project.

Even if binance requires KYC to all its traders now, it has not lost its top position in the market as crypto-exchange. It means, crypto users still trust this exchange despite of the need to compulsory submit KYC now. BSC network is still gaining popularity among users because ETH network has still expensive fees. And with other products and services offered by binance, BNB has seemingly bright future. So based from the OP's post, which was only last month, we already reached his target for this year. And I believe, very soon it will reach $1k. $1.5-1.7k seems very possible to happen also. If we continue to see new ATH for bitcoin, that target for BNB may come easy.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: November 08, 2021, 11:00:58 PM
Can a decentralized currency like bitcoin ever get regulated?
No. Bitcoin is decentralized and censorship resistant. Only exchanges and centralized services will be regulated and this is not new.

This is a short and straightforward answer to the question of the OP. Bitcoin will always be decentralized but only the institutions or companies that are employing bitcoin can only be subjected to regulation from the government. So nope, bitcoin will never be regulated. The governments can get some information for btc holders owed to these exchanges or remittances which require KYC, but still, they won't get the full picture of the btc movements.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡⚡⚡ CSPro Chain ⚡⚡⚡ Feel empowered! on: November 08, 2021, 10:13:35 PM

It is good that mining becomes more ecologically friendly. It will require more electricity and the reputation of cryptocurrency will become better. It is very important that mining will become more ecologically friendly.

Now PoS mining is very popular. PoS mining allow to earn passive income. Also PoS mining does not require so much electricity like PoW mining and it is ecologically friendly.

PoS mining allows earning passive income. But it is necessary to block your tokens. That is why PoS mining is popular only when market raise.

It depends on the capability of the PoS coin, because if the coin has no actual use and will just rely on traders, aside from short lifespan, this is not good for passive income. So you should meticulously select the coin, as much as possible with rock solid application in the market. Because if it is a hit in the market and the use case is not just one-time deal, then, there's hope for the project to sustain its market. Passive income is only true if the project can sustain its presence for long time. So you should look for long lasting use case of the project.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 08, 2021, 08:35:28 PM
“If you can’t beat them, join them.”

It’s pretty simple. Banks can’t beat or take down crypto for good. No matter if they choose to ban it, Bitcoin and the crypto world won’t stop and continues to dominate. Not even China’s intense crackdown could stop Bitcoin from rising.

Most banks are still anti-crypto thinking that it’s a threat to their financial system. However, they will be the ones who are going to be left behind later on. They have no choice but to embrace cryptocurrency later on. Massive adoption won’t stop.

That's actually the reason why some banks are now starting to accept crypto in their system because they are seeing that with the current rate of adoption, some of their clients will really go into crypto. So instead of losing them, why not offer some crypto services in their system? Though it is against some of their principles, they need to adapt the emerging trend in the market, else they will be left behind. And as they can see, even a giant country like China can't topple the crypto market, bitcoin in particular.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: November 08, 2021, 04:11:18 PM
What make people panic sell?

Panic makes people panic sell.
Generally it can be because they are newish to crypto, and have never experienced a price drop before, they are unaccustomed to what is often quite large volatility, and the uncertainty amplifies their concern beyond what is reasonable.
But it depends on the coin. If they are backing some low-cap low-volume alt that has suddenly gone x100 in price for no discernible reason, and then started dropping, then panic-selling might be a perfectly rational response.

This is true, if the person has not experienced a downward movement before, he would certainly panic sell. And mostly, those are newbies in the market. However, it can happen also to old timers, if they are holding some alts which suddenly drop its price, where they are hoping to gain good amount of profit. And if they see that the project doesn't have much reason to exist, in short, no solid application in the market. They would panic if the trend is in continuous downward motion, because normally, it would not go up again. Most projects with this kind of performance are those pump and dump coins, crap tokens/coins, hyped up coins. Newcomers as well as old timers panic sell when they are holding those coins.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: November 07, 2021, 11:37:58 PM
Maybe they make the trading volume bigger and livelier.
The price of the NMX token continues to fall as the market starts to improve. Looks like the NMX token needs to be listed on popular exchanges like Kucoin or MXC.

Maybe listing would help, but i doubt that. It would only dilute the liquidity as it would have to be spreaded to different exchanges. Also listing would cost them money and they most likely would have to market sell nmx for that. So that would actually hurt the price.
What they need is marketing they last held their advertising when they are in their launching period, they should sustain it now by launching a signature campaign or a social media campaign, some old projects are doing it, they launch a new campaign, even a short campaign can make a difference.

I don't know if another campaign will revive the interest of traders because as we can see the token's value is slowly going down. I have the feeling that it may go down to their initial target price of $1. I thought something will change once they announced being official binance broker, but instead of going up, it is still going down. Is there someone here has idea why it seems NMX token can't keep up with the market? Maybe the NMX farmers are also slowly selling now that they see the price seems hard to go up again.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 07, 2021, 11:10:54 PM
The opening odds are ;

Quote
Vasyl Lomachenko has opened as the -400 betting favorite against Richard Commey.
Loma and Commey have agreed to a deal to fight on December 11th, after the Heisman Trophy presentation.
At +300, this is only the fourth time in Commey’s career that he’s opened as a betting underdog. He lost the previous three instances.
https://www.thesportsgeek.com/news/sportsbooks-install-vasyl-lomachenko-as-heavy-betting-favorite-against-richard-commey/

If the trend will continue, then most likely Commey will lose and this will be his 4th loss being listed as the underdog in a fight.
Loma is back, that's what I can say because he really look so impressive in his last fight and that's the reason why I like to see him have a rematch with Lopez and I'm pretty sure the outcome would not be the same.

If Loma will win over Commey, high likelihood that he will ask for Lopez rematch. So in order to make it happen, I am seeing that Loma will not underestimate Commey here even if he is the underdog, as he needs a sure win to get the rematch. This match is still not listed in crypto bookies but if fiat bookies are already starting to give their odds, we may see this in crypto bookies in these coming weeks.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if meme tokens Never became a thing? on: November 07, 2021, 10:22:36 PM
all memes crash and eventually the money dives back into btc Smiley

Eventually, that will happen. Because these meme tokens have no solid use case in the market. But maybe for doge, if meme hype is over - they will just go back to their old position, as they have been used by many even before this hype happens. Hype will always create interest from the community, and for sure, there will be another one in the coming days. So it depends on the crypto user how he will take advantage when it comes to hype. But as much as possible, it is better to exit the hype while you are still in positive profit, because their lifespan is usually short.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: {ANN} GatePlay.io | Free-to-play, Play-to-earn GameFi Platform for NFTs etc. on: November 07, 2021, 09:47:19 PM
~snip~
If I'm not misunderstood, you guys act as an intermediate service that gives incentives to the people while playing games. Furthermore, mostly the games provided are already published on the marketplace either playstore or appstore (which was created by other devs). Do you guys have any plan to create your own game?

Anyway, is it impossible to get rid of the phone number requirement from the registration page? Kinda annoyed with it, to be honest (at least to me)

Yes, they need to remove the phone number requirement because from their website, they said, to register, you only need email registration. P2E platforms are gaining momentum these days, and this is free to play, then, a lot will indeed join this gaming network. So for now, maybe even if they don't have their own game, they can already attract players as seen on their dashboard.

Several of these now P2E gaming NFT platforms are quite expensive for small players, so this is a good one to start and earn money without worrying of spending their funds before they can play and earn.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is going to reach $5k soon? on: November 06, 2021, 11:42:37 PM
I am waiting for the $5000 level and I think it will pass this week with a higher price. ETH has been profitable since last year's bull market. And I believe with the upcoming updates, there will be more waiting for ETH in the near future.
Ethereum only needs 400$ to get pass that amount , 5000$ is the highest target this month of November and maybe another increase in the next month at least 6-7k may be there.
looks like everyone's hopes of ethereum reaching 5000$ is imminent and not far away maybe in a few weeks it will be achieved and happen. now ethereum has touched 4500$ i have 2 ethereum bought at the time the price of 1400$ i kept it and ethereum reached the price of 10,000$...?
actually not everyone but all those who had been holding their Ethereum till now.

But i am not lol .

The $5k range seems near and it may happen in few days or within this month. But $10k? Maybe, next year. At least, let us see first that the gas fees under ETH are dropping. Small traders are still complaining of the gas fees up until now. No wonder, a lot are still switching to other cheaper networks. But the hope that ETH dev team will deliver is always there, the reason why its price keeps on progressing.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan on: November 06, 2021, 10:54:29 PM
Rather than regret those missed actions in the past, face whatever you will encounter today and have the guts to enter crypto on its current status.

Don't blame yourself that you missed a train before because there's no way we can predict the outcome in the first place. If you will just keep thinking about what you did in the past, you will just forever be struck on that thinking and will have difficulty facing the current trend.

It's not the end. Act now.

One thing that caught my attentions was, the person offering him was asking for $50k or nothing, and that's big amount of money. So I have the feeling that person was about to scam you. Why $50k, he knew you were willing to risk $1500 but he was asking a lot. So yes, don't regret your action that day, because it maybe was a blessing in disguise.

@OP, do you know by any chance what happened to this person? Is he still in crypto?

And also, you can always look forward and not backward. You can still invest on this market if you truly believe there is a future in this market.
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX or Binance? on: November 06, 2021, 09:12:06 PM
I never margin traded at FTX but did futures trades there.

What I liked -
Quick execution
Low spreads so I don't need to wait longer to get into profits
Less fees in trading

What I didn't like -
Liquidation price is not too far (may be this is for our account's financial standings to keep some funds remaining after early liquidation).

Moreover, I like how they didn't charge me anything when I withdrew all types of cryptocurrencies including btc and even eth (only 1 free withdrawal per day allowed for eth or any erc20 tokens). Meanwhile, you can stake FTT as shown in the table (scroll a bit) to get more free eth and erc20 withdrawals daily.

I think, that's their attractive feature here, no withdrawal fees. And even with eth, they are at least allowing 1 free transaction which is already good for those who are avoiding expensive fees. However, when it comes to KYC aspect, you need to undergo also compulsory KYC before you can deposit and trade, which is no difference with Binance now. But do they have SAFU like binance, some sort of insurance to users?

i have not used ftx exchange, i heard in this exchange cheap withdraw fees, then i created account btw i can not deposit without kyc.
i submitted kyc before 2 weeks ago btw it's reviewing till now.

Also, this one, binance has faster approval of KYC. 2 weeks is a long wait. Do they say any reason why such long process?
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin run up is coming on: November 06, 2021, 08:27:29 PM
Well majority of us have been preparing for this for years now and putting our wealth into bitcoin. So regardless if EU inflation is rising we are prepared already.

This has been in the case for many years, and this is the same very reason why bitcoin or crypto currency is general in growing in the last 4 years or so. We are preparing for the worst possible scenario, specially the collapse of the financial markets.

I don't think majority of population is putting their wealth into bitcoin, because up until now the percentage of crypto users vs. global population is still low. But crypto users already, I understand that most of them are thinking that as much as possible, hold their satoshis if they can. With other people outside crypto, I believe some of them are into investments like real estate, precious metals and other tangible assets. Also, when it comes to banks, maybe some are secretly buying their bitcoin stash but I don't think they are in panic mode, because no matter what, the government is behind their back.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: November 05, 2021, 11:32:09 PM
That's correct, we still have the options to use crypto or either fiat, this will just depend on our choices.
Yeah, just choose whatever we like, available, and also a possibility. Some people may still prefer to use fiat both for online and offline gambling, and some prefer to choose crypto moreover for online gambling. That is why everyone may have their own choices.

For online betting then we could still make use of our credit/debit cards which it isnt really that hassle but since we dont really like on getting traced on what we are doing online then it would be much preferable on using crypto to avoid those problems.
You can too, but unfortunately, sometimes there are those who are not available using both. Or there is a ban in a particular country. So is sometimes the use of fiat is more limited. Depends on the gambling platform and also the origin of the country too. Well yeah, more options, more choices that we can consider wisely for the best pick.

Some can't avoid using fiat because for example if they are using their credit/debit card, so in this case, their identity is already submitted to the casino. But if you will deposit in crypto to the site, and only use casinos not requiring KYC, then, of course, it is more favorable on your part because you don't have to worry about your info getting submitted. In this case, the gambler has the choice where to go when he gambles. The casino will lay out their ToS but in the end, it is up to the gambler if he will play on that casino or not.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH we can expect big move on: November 05, 2021, 10:23:13 PM
I think OP missed the most important things happening on Etereum right now, Defi and NFT!

We all know how Defi and NFT affect the Ethereum network right now, like very expensive transaction fees. An additional thing that Ethereum's next big move is how they scale since a lot of people started to use alternative networks of Ethereum because of the transaction fee. I am looking forward on this too.

Defi and NFT are just few reasons why ETH can keep afloat despite of the still high gas fees under their network. As we can see, the latest fork has not affected their gas fees yet. A lot are waiting for the fees to go down because it is not really favorable to small traders. So it is understandable, that some developers are exploring their alternatives like in BSC, DOT, SOL and others, offering them very competitive fees. Once we see the gas fees in eth going down, I have the feeling that some of these users will go back to eth and the price may eventually continue to rise.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice against plako or slot on: November 05, 2021, 09:29:03 PM
Your stat is correct gambling users and their time on the gambling site have increased but I doubt if many gamblers are stuck on the decision on what to choose to play, gamblers have different preferences and they do not focus on one game alone like an investor or trader they always have many options to try their luck, my favorite is dice but I shifted to Mine, Plinko and hi-lo from time to time.
We can easily choose those games that we're fond of. Gamblers know what they're looking for and what type of games they're good at. Especially, if the games that they're playing are always giving them their best shot.

The easiest would be those luck-based games and as mentioned, dice, slots and other games that are basing to the luck of the players. And for those gamblers that are staying to their chosen casinos, it is a factor that they're having good experience so they stay.
They choose according to how they see the enjoyment and the possibilities that they will win.

though it's not an assurance but most of the time, gamblers who play with luck based games are more on trying to fit themselves with how the sites treat them and how they are enjoying those perks that they are getting.

More on gamblers' own perspectives and personal experiences, everyone has their own opinions about this matter.

We all know that most of these luck-based games will just siphon our funds if you don't know when to stop. Some are attracted to play if there are some bonuses or rewards that the casino is offering. But if not, most gamblers are just playing these for the sake of passing the time or just for fun, not merely on the side of earning from these games. Because with the house edge and your luck combined, I don't think you can win in the long run. So for me, dice, plinko, palko or slot, they have the same degree as they are luck-based games. Not treating it as a way to earn profits.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: November 05, 2021, 08:41:16 PM
in the future, for sure all businesses will adopt crypto payments but we must also be aware that the volatility of the bitcoin price will make many businesses owner add other options for payment via other cryptos besides bitcoin payment
When more number of people and business will be adopting bitcoins then there will be a possibility for having less volatile in bitcoin markers. It means bitcoin may rise up over the time due to its limited supply but the domination of beer markets might get diminished when more people are participating in one or other way.

When bitcoin will be having slow and steady bull market and very rarely bear market then merchants will love it to be accepting for their businesses.

Maybe not all businesses, but a lot of them will accept in the future. Not only bitcoin but other good alts for payment method like XRP, TRX or LTC, which incur very minimal transaction fees. A lot of btc holders up until now don't want to spend their satoshis because for the hope that it will gain massive value in the future. But some are already trying to spend their satoshis when they feel it is more convenient for them to pay via btc. Whereas, for businesses, the volatility issue is still their issue why some are still hesitant, but other merchants are now accepting for the same reason. We can't expect them to have the same preferences towards this matter. But the adoption is increasing every day.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GOLDTUBE.IO | Earn Money Watching Videos | Prototype Available To Public on: November 04, 2021, 11:40:28 PM
Based from their roadmap, they should have finished their private sale last month. So did it materialize? Did they raise funds from their initial funding stage?

There have been similar platforms before about this - earning their native token while watching videos, however, none so far really achieve something successful. So what are the advantages of this platform that will make them successful in this chosen venture?
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NCH] Crypto Holding NEURONET [Pre-ICO] on: November 04, 2021, 11:08:09 PM
What false accusations are you talking about?

Have you read this allegation towards this project - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5366789.new#new?

Using fake photos is frowned upon in the forum, so I don't think you can get people here to participate in your bounty programs. Have you noticed, your thread here is idle. So prepare yourself not to achieve your ICO targets here. If you want, you can clarify your position on this matter and answer the scam allegation thread. But the evidences are clear.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 04, 2021, 10:29:55 PM
We have had several hyped coins and token lately and many have been a victim of hyped projects that ended up crashing in not long after attaining a very little profit margin. Been extremely careful with how we go about our analysis will help save a lot. Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.
Come up with "nice project"? Have you seen any of those and read the whitepaper (most of them don't even have a whitepaper probably). They are shit project and people know it. Yet they still invest because they hope they can take the advantage of the pump and get rich over night. But the developers are more cunning and they dump it before anyone can take any profit. Look at those projects. They either are impossible to achieve or are just some random project that has nothing new to offer. Just invest your money in coins that has good reputation and hold them!

The recent hyped up project that crashed is the squid game token - https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2021/11/01/squid-game-token-crashes-developers-say-theyve-left-the-project/. I have the feeling that a lot were screwed by this latest abandonment of the project. This is the reason why you should really be careful in investing in hype. I consider SHIB as one of them, as they have no strong use case in the market. The price pump is mostly driven by shilling of those holders and whales holding this token. So for me, one should really be careful in touching this kind of platform. You have no assurance about the longevity of their lifespan. Yes, the possible earning of good profit is always there, but you should know when to exit if you are a holder.
