861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA, why no pump yet on: May 13, 2021, 10:35:07 PM
The issue with IOTA is that the team made many promises and nothing substantial was delivered, no one is using IOTA and the tangle technology that was promised, what we are seeing from most of these new blockchain is that they are delivering something, look at Ethereum, Solana, Avalanch, Binance Chain etc people are actually using the chain unlike what we have with IOTA.

I never really looked any further into IOTA when I heard that they could shut it down in an instant or that it is actually way more centralized than most people think. Is that the case or has that been improved upon in any way? As you say sometime in the past they also had a partnership with a huge car company if I remember correctly, but didn't deliver anything tangible to their users. Many years went by and it is still more a white paper than a software company making progress on their promises.

This pretty much give the reason why they can't pump because they have no solid reason why they will be pumped. How many projects are using their chain? Can you name at least one successful project? I guess, it is hard to drop a name, right? Without active use case, a project is hard to go up. They are lucky that they are still heavily traded in known exchanges like Binance and Bitfinex. They need to give something tangible progress to the public or at least long list of companies that are indeed using their network before we can see them soar high in the market.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: May 12, 2021, 11:40:40 PM
Vitalik Buterin, how about his role in Shiba Inu?

I can not believe that Vitalik involves in the creation and development of Shiba Inu. Unbelievable.

Shiba Inu is the token that take advantage of the hype of Dogecoin with investment and shill efforts from Elon Musk and his team mates. No matter what is done by Vitalik with Shiba or Elon with Dogecoin, price of Shiba is extremely over value and hey please afford your loss if you want to gamble. I won't.

Anyone can send anyone anything. The person receiving the tokens doesn't need to even know about it. That's the nature of immutable blockchain and permissionless transactions. They were send to vitalik's address to "burn" but it was also a genius marketing move. I don't think that vitalik will do anything with them. I mean imagine him dumping them and donating everything to charity. That would eat the liquidity and price to zero.

It has been sent already to charity. So we don't know if there is still future for this token. And by the way to tbct_mt2 - Vitalik is not involved in the creation and development of Shiba Inu. It just happens that the dev of this token sent Vitalik large amount of tokens to his address. And Vitalik decided to sent it to charity instead.

863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: May 12, 2021, 10:46:37 PM
It's better than let his garbage coin sitting in his wallet without any usefulness. I guess shiba was facing another 40% losses in a day due to the this news. it's not only shiba but bitcoin was also facing the same trend as ethereum as well. i think that the meme coin season is not yet ended, but shiba and friends totally overvalued at this moment dude.
I like how vitalik was to act wisely. he has lots of ethereum on his wallet and bitcoin.

This is really great move by Vitalik, instead of personally earning profit from free tokens he got, he donated it for a good cause. Which I believe, he doesn't need anymore. So why not help those in need instead? He knows the quality of those tokens and if he will just let it sit for long time, it will lose its value and it will just be wasted for nothing. I hope other wealthy devs will also do the same.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing bitcoin is achievement on: May 11, 2021, 11:28:46 PM
Knowing bitcoin is a success, but learning bitcoin is a costly thing. You can lose a lot of money while trying to learn bitcoin. so try not to invest before you know it fully.
Not really costly at all. With all of the resources and helpful read that you can find on the web, it will cost you nothing but only time and effort. It's needed if you truly want to understand what bitcoin is all about and if you're going to be a trader or investor of it. In that manner, you'll be allocating time to strategies in trading and holding. Thus, learning bitcoin is easy and need not be costly as you say because it will only require your time to understand it. But I agree with what you're saying that you don't invest in it until you fully understand it.

Risk your money as little as possible. While trying to understand bitcoin, I recommend that you learn about the technology it has and how this technology can enable innovations, and even learn about blockchain software. then enjoy.
Enjoy while you're learning so that you will not feel bored as you learn it.

Learning the ins and outs of bitcoin trading may cost you a lil bit but it can be minimize by simple strategy. Only use small funds to test your trading skills. Also, if you are really a beginner, try to collect free coins first like from faucets. It may not be worth your time, but this will give you idea how to use other alts other than bitcoin. And this site - https://bitpr0.com/, I found this helpful even to non-newbies. They do have the list of faucets under their Gifts tab.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann][ICO Complete!!] Loopring -- Decentralised Exchange and Open Protocol on: May 11, 2021, 10:20:25 PM
Loopring Subgraph + Hackathon Bounties

The Loopring subgraph indexes our rollup data allowing it be easily accessible in real-time. We will support L2 blocks, transactions, account balances, and more.
A few things that you can do with our subgraph:
  • Deploy a Loopring information site that displays daily trading volume, total liquidity, recent transactions and top trading pairs.
  • Track performance data like impermanent loss, gas saved, and protocol fees rewarded.

https://medium.com/loopring-protocol/loopring-subgraph-hackathon-bounties-148705a35f58

This is one of the first DEXs out there, but curious here, since deploying your DEX, have you reached your target trading volume? To be honest, I am not very familiar with this DEX. Do you really have low gas fees as compared to UNI and other top DEXs? But the limited trading pair may be one of the hindrances that traders are utilizing this exchange.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Liquifi - digital asset exchange on: May 10, 2021, 11:10:45 PM
We have so many crypto exchanges that are now going into the combination of BSC-ETH networks. So what else is the major edge of this exchange over the others?

What are the plans to add liquidity for the pair WBNB / LQF ?

Liquidity is somewhat a challenge for a new exchange. That I think, they need to work on how to attract liquidity providers.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (DAM) Datamine Network - FLUX: Time is Money 2.0 - DeFi DApp on: May 10, 2021, 10:03:16 PM
If I'm reading this right, the primary purpose of FLUX is to be burned to get the 10x multiplier to get more FLUX?  What are the other use cases for FLUX outside of this?  I understand DAM's use case as being the mechanism that produces FLUX through locking... but that mechanism assumes that FLUX has underlying value or some natural reason that people would want to use / buy it.

Right now you're basically describing a two-tier ponzi system.  Is there something that I'm missing that can be clearly explained?

FLUX is currently in the DeFi ecosystem, well it's a bit like a ponzi, but DeFi allocates rewards from the supplies they have, and they'll also routinely burn, I guess it's not the same as ponzi.

Just look at it like how every DeFi platform is working. Yield farming is the most common feature. But if you think about it, where will they get the value of those tokens farmed? There should be some use case, right? Because without use case backing the DeFi platform, they can easily be abandoned. So you need to look for valid use case in order for you to have peace of mind that your money is earning passive income.
868  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 📈🔐[Exchange] Crypto-Services~~The Privacy Exchange~~🔐📈 on: May 10, 2021, 10:33:25 AM
I saw that BGL is already listed in your exchange. Nice! Just found out.

But I am curious as you said you are accepting small projects, but is listing free or only via voting for now? Also, your btc/ltc/doge withdrawal fees are lil bit lower than common fees from other crypto exchanges. However, you need to work out on how to improve your trading volume. That is usually the hesitation of some traders to try small exchanges.
869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: May 09, 2021, 11:59:15 PM
What happened in 2018 is different from what happened in 2020-2021, back in 2018 there were less institutional investors that are buying bitcoin because it was still unknown or they still don't find it worth investing and the prices dropped in January and now look at 2021, the price is stagnating but it didn't dumped altogether.
That is all the difference in the world, it is true the price is not moving but the fact that we are still so close to the previous all time high and yet the price does not go away tell us everything that we need to know, this is not the top, this is not the end of the bull market, we still have a lot of room to grow, this is just one of those moments in which the market does not move and the whales use those moments to get even more coins and I think the rest of the people should do exactly the same as them.

The scenario today is really different as compared to what was the situation in 2018. Nowadays, there are so many financial institutions that are already involved in this market. Not only these institutions but top and known companies which are openly announcing their participation in crypto market. Popular companies such as PayPal and Tesla also have crypto in their system already. And I believe, a lot more will follow on their path. So what we are seeing today is a very different adoption than years back. The foundation of use case is getting stronger for crypto.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [DEFI][ANN] Nimbus - Established FinTech Company. DAO-governed ecosystem. on: May 09, 2021, 11:43:17 PM
Do I understand correctly that you have now changed the blockchain on the BSC, and have completely moved there?

It says below that they will integrate BSC. But I don't think they will totally switched to BSC but rather they will have 2 networks running. Just like other projects, they will have BSC and ETH on the works. And since this coming July, a lot are awaiting for ETH's EIP 1559, which may address this gas efficiency problem, we may see a reduction of gas fees.

How can I use the Nimbus platform through the BSC?
Hello. Nimbus will soon integrate BSC and you will be able to swap NBU and GNBU tokens for example on Pancake and other similar platforms that support token swap on the BSC network. You can also use the Nimbus platform using a BSC-enabled wallet.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀⭐️MINDSYNC - Machine Learning Competitions to solve business tasks on: May 09, 2021, 11:19:18 PM

We have been waiting for more than a year for listing the coin, we don't know whether they have updated their recent roadmap but everything is in words. Almost all people lost faith in the Mindsync project, which they want to steal money from the investors.

Well, I understand your point of view, it's ok. But there are still a lot of investors (as me) that believe to the team and who are sure that project have a good future and team will deliver a great product, just need some time to wait.

To be honest, their progress is very slow. Maybe some investors are not losing hope because if they will, it is the same as losing their investments. So they have no choice, but hope for the best on this project. Since they already collected their funds, they should be more aggressive in giving updates or if the roadmap has been revised or not. One thing good though is that they are not yet abandoning this project.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sugarchain [CPU] Launching 2019/08/24 15:00 UTC on: May 09, 2021, 10:43:16 PM
VERY Happy to have discovered this coin!

Amazingly Fast Transfers! Typical Wallet to Wallet transfers are ready to spend in 30 seconds! Similar speed of a debit card!

Still early in it's emission life. Only about 40% mined so far.

I'm throwing all my mining rig CPU's at it! They weren't doing anything anyway, so why not?

They may have amazingly fast transfers but right now, where can you use this coin as a payment method, which is one of their missions? Because the duration doesn't matter if the coin is not available to many merchants. Now, is there a list at the moment about merchants or shops that are currently accepting this coin as a payment method? The exchanges listed also are not very familiar with very low trading volume. This will be a challenge if you want to use this as payment method as you can't find it in a more popular exchange.
873  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 09, 2021, 10:03:34 PM
I think it is about "if this news is correct, people will buy more and if it is wrong, the ones who bought anticipating this will sell" type of situation. Basically there are some people who already bought because they believe that Alibaba bought 20 billion dollars worth of bitcoin, and some people are still uncertain about it and will decide depending on the news.
The news about Alibaba investing 20 billion dollars will be debunked as rumors when the Q1 earnings report will be published in a few days. Jack Ma is always skeptical about Bitcoin and he always viewed the Bitcoin market as a bubble and hence i do not think that he will be taking a huge risk to invest $20 billion in the market, i wont be surprised if it is a few millions but to invest $20 billion even after calling the Bitcoin market as a bubble will be outrageous  Cheesy.

This will be an interesting news to look forward to. Few days from now and we will know the truth about this rumor. But I believe, it is just a rumor. But in any case they did have bitcoin investments, even if it is not $20B, it may still create good pump in the market. Who knows, Jack Ma changed his mind over bitcoin, now that Tesla is already on this market? They can always change their stance when it is good for their business.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: May 09, 2021, 09:34:48 PM
Dogecoin was dumped after the saying from Elon. It is Hussle.

Shiba is shilling and is a hope of people who don't buy Dogecoin when it was cheap. It is same to Ethereum Classic that is rising because of miners will no longer have Ethereum to mine.

If Dogecoin is a joke, what is Shiba, joke killer?

Haven't expected this token will be listed in so many exchanges and having very high 24h trading volume. But look at their ANN here. Few words and links and they made a hit in the market. Can they really sustain this market or just only short-term gain of popularity? Waiting for binance if they will list this token, after all the volume is astonishing!
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: May 09, 2021, 09:03:45 PM
Is there an electrum for dogecoin? Multidoge isn't working to me. It returns me a "java not found" error.

The whole situation is a bad joke IMO, not a good one. A guy decided to pump that thing and thousands of investors started buying. It's a bubble, everyone says that, so dogecoin? Dangerously bad meme.

Besides Dogecoin Core (that also doesn't work pruned), the developers have posted only one open-source non-custodial wallet which is multidoge. The whole thing stinks.

I agree

"electrum for dogecoin"

... this is what the coin is missing.

The community could raise a fund to build and maintain the Electrum wallet.

Someone should initiate this.

Why not the doge team themselves develop this type of wallet for their coin? By now, they have more than enough money to fund this project, and maybe strike while the iron is hot. Hopefully, they are cooking something beyond this hullabaloo and not relying entirely on Elon's tweets.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 09, 2021, 08:00:56 PM
Dogecoin is dropping. Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again?

Buy the Rumor, Sell the News - whoever follow this , sure to be on profits. On the other hand, dogecoin is now pumping based on Elon Musk's event and spacex just retweet something which might pump dogecoin again. But it's upto others for taking the decision whether you want to buy it or not. But anyone should buy dogecoin for short term trading, not for long term hodlings.

Also take a look into this: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/spacex-to-launch-doge-1-to-the-moon-301287016.html

This will be one of the reasons that Elon may keep on mentioning doge in social media. This is nice to know especially those who are holding doge up until now. These holders should keep up with his tweets or any social activity, because if they want to get profit, just sell it once it pumps again. As this is a very high risk investment, better get your profits while you can.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN] POLYWHALE.Finance |DEFI|First Yield Farm On PolyGon | 🔥🔥 on: May 09, 2021, 07:10:48 PM
What my worry is can they really sustain the high APR that they are offering? What would be the reasons that this platform have to really gain farmers and achieve their high APR for the coins/tokens involved? There are so many yield farming platforms now, why would it be different with polywhale.finance?
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] SOKUSWAP.ORG - Fully Decentralized Cryptocurrency Exchange 🔥🔥 on: May 09, 2021, 09:55:08 AM
It's nice that users of your exchange will be able make trades on the Ethereum Network and the Binance Smart Chain. But I don't really like that your platform will be without KYC for users. KYC is necessary.

It is a decentralized exchange so there's no need for KYC. KYC is mostly on CEX. Most traders don't want to undergo KYC, why is it that you like KYC here? And also, what will be the unique edge of this DEX over other popular DEXs like pancake or UNI, maybe aside from the fees involved?
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BEET BEETLECOIN POS/MASTERNODE COIN on: May 08, 2021, 11:54:05 PM
The BEETLE team reminds that the voting continues on the resource https://stakecube.net/app/community/ let's support the project with your vote, you can also get 50 BEETLE for 10 votes you cast, after which you need to send a DM to twitter @beetlecoin with screenshots of your votes and claim your reward.

 -

Stakecube is a good platform to stake your coins if you don't want to stake it in your own wallet. But the number of votes for Beetle coin has a long way to go to be on top. Aside from possible listing to stakecube, what are other plans of the team to increase the number of supporters of this coin? Because from what I see, even if there is a reward for voting, still the number of votes is low.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is no one talking about shorting alts? on: May 08, 2021, 11:43:25 PM
It's hard to predict which out of thousands of alts will go up, but what you can predict is that once a coin went up, it's bound to go down.
(....)
This will also depend on the pair you are looking for, there are pair that is extremely bullish not the same with Doge which is totally risky as of the moment.

For an example of Ethereum, when it first touched $3,000 before, it wasn't able to see or touched the $2,000 level. And now it is trading nearly $4,000. It's really strong, a lot of buyers, and no one wants to sell. So shorting this kind of alts right now is like doing suicide.

Shorting requires perfect timing and trading skills. Shorting a highly volatile crypto market that is bullish is a recipe for financial disaster. Taking profits on big price spikes is ok though.
There are a lot of instances of why you will short particular crypto. Most of them are surely based on technical analysis.

Shorting alts is a very tedious job to do. You should have good eyes on spotting which alts will have a very good potential. And no trader can precisely predict what may happen so you are just basing on the possible market movement. And only few alts can really be worth to take the risk with. This is why for those traders that will do the shorting, they need to be careful in selecting alts. Doge, eth and bnb for sure will not fall into this category at the moment.
