base power could be the issue... Received all my 4 miners, everything worked fine, thanks a lot!
By the way I've noticed that while my low power (around 600W) Coolermaster PSUs had no problem powering ants from the start, my bigger 1kW Coolermaster PSU didn't want to start with ants (or ant, doesn't matter) connected to it, but if I turned it first, and after few secconds connected cables to ants, everything worked fine, so I guess some PSUs don't like to have high load from the start.
Paid 356 zł VAT to courier, so around 100 USD / 80 EUR.
Try connect a fan on 5v or a dvd. What's the model number of that 1kW one? Most good high-end PSUs use a DC-DC design for the minor voltages, so don't need a load on them. I had the non-start issue with some 1500w's , forgot to try the 5v fix. |

I think they are going for the quality of U1 rather than early release with known bugs with lower GH and higher power consumption... These manufactures have 1 chance to do it right My guess is U1 will hit faster than someone else buying the chips and making something smiler. I will update you on the U1. May be another trip to China for a good dim sum in the morning;D  They did have the U1 a little over a month ago when I took a trip there... It wasn't an empty promises They have a group of dedicated engineers who always shoot higher in quality. no price yet?

Nope just another promise that "THIS WEEKEND" .. .. lol and then "Next weekend" .. and so on and so on I think at this point our best hope is someone buying chips makes a unit, because it seems like Bitmain only wants the money from S1 units and not us U1 people. |

AntMiner S1 is a self contained miner. Computer is needed for the initial set up only. Once it's setup, it will run and mine without any need of a computer or a tablet. cgminer is built in to he unit and it has WAN/LAN/WIFI built in. 3. Shipping on December 20 & 21, 2013 from China.
I am sure the delivery guys wont be working over christmas
My next concern is
1 PSU on 24/7 for the Miner and 1 PSU on (My computer on 24/7 for the hashing program to be running)
So lets say energy consumption will be about 700watts for both devices so this is my concern atm
Would it be cheap to run the miner program from a laptop than from a desktop computer?

New Factory Default Reset ButtonPredd and hold down this little bitty black round switch for at least 3 seconds while AntMiner is powered on. If the reset worked, then your Antminer's IP will revert back to either 192.168.1.99 or 198.168.2.99

That X doesn't mean the chips are not working. Please reboot a few times and most of them would go away. It's a firmware bug.... As long as it's hashing at 179GH/S that means all the chips are hashing!!! Received my miner and I have it up and running but was wondering about the hardware errors being so highon the stats page.  Will the stats improve if I run a local mining proxy like I do with my blades? BTW, delivery was fast and right on time. My Amazon 2-day delivery packages both did not show up even though they were due today. Better mail from China with UPS than with USPS.....figures. Looks like a couple of chips aren't working bro |

Would be great, if you have your computer on the Internet via Wi-Fi and Open Ethernet Port available SUSHI I can't set it up  I have changed all settings as described in guide. Then I'm going to browser and nothing happens. "This page is not available" I'm just wandering how somebody will connect to my pc through team viewer while internet cable is out of computer.? Done this: Set your computer's IP address to the following: IP Address: 192.168.2.254 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1 Then I have went to browser and typed in IP of the miner = "this page is not available" Any help guys please  Thank you PS: Second miner works. What's the IP address on the unit's label? If it doesn't begin with 192.168.2, the above instructions won't work. Hi many thanks for response. IP is 192.168.2.xxx Is there any way to reset miner ? I have turned it on and of 2-3 times without luck. go in your rooter admin panel, and see there the IP of the miner That only works if the AntMiner is asking for an IP by DHCP. Mine came set to static IPs, so they wouldn't show in my router's DHCP client list. Any chance your ethernet cable is bad? Ethernet cable is ok. I was able to access my second miner. There is something not right with a first one. |

Ouch... For the next group buy, I will look into higher listed value!! Also, Hosting Option will be available as well. 120USD or 89EUR is what is on my bill. yep. i told it wont go good! mine from GB2 is held too and now its a pita to explain them the BTC thingy like i said in the first GB: please declare a value at least 3x the shipping costi know its usual chinese export business to underdeclare, and most times it slips through and saves the customer lots of taxes but then there are the unlucky cases and these cant start mining before next diff now and there is Germany: we always double-check and trible-doubt any imported parcel |

Hi Guys! I would love to see, posts only, 10 Units Please... or 100 Units Paid In Reality: I don't mind those opinions posted here as long as it's not 100 times repeatedly posted every few post. Everyone looks at different way of investment returns. I rather have BTC Newbies to know there are may different angle to look at things in Wild Wild BTC World!!! Price wise, I'm doing my best to secure lower price as possible. I guess in turn, more I sell, the lower price I may be able to obtain... If you don't want to buy, just shut up and don't buy.
USB miners went and go for much higher price and people still buy them, everyone is free to make their own calculations and decide if he want's to buy or not. When you go to Best Buy, you also complain about the price and ask everyone there to give you discount, or you just go to another shop?
USB miners actually decreased in BTC price with difficulty growth though, 1.99btc start point down to a wholesale end point of 0.02btc. I am not complaining, i am stating facts based on projections. I respect sushi a lot, he has helped me with a few things personally and i respect bitmain for doing a great job of producing some cool miners. I'd analogize it more has giving constructed critisisim as a repeat customer to a friends business, instead of walking into best buy and complaining to the store clerk who you don't know and he does not care  |
