201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: March 10, 2016, 05:06:17 PM
I know you people are used to fishy stuff around here. I am not like that. I've seen implying that I deleted slack to cause panic in order to buy WARP cheaper. Seriously? If I wanted WARP cheap, I would have bought from the crowdsale, and I didn't.

Slack was deleted in sudden fury, yes that is correct, because I saw a growing concern with top holders trying to controls my own actions and decisions. I won't make the rich richer, I won't decide for their benefit. And the way they have been contributing to WARP has been close to zero.

I'm not gonna play with them anymore, no matter what they think. I am here for WARP, not for traders/speculators. There is a gigantic room for growing. 10 people are not gonna stop that.

Sorry to come back, but... in an attempt to calm troubled waters.

You could have explained this days ago, when the speculation first started.

As for people not contributing, I myself tried to. I had a (possibly stupid) idea about using sortation as a way to run the coin and I made this suggestion in direct response to your plea for more discussion. It was ignored.

Then, when it started to be mooted that you didn't like dealing with the slack and the forum here, I offered to help. Again, it was ignored.

You can't really accuse people of not contributing when you, yourself are not contributing to the discussion.

As you say, people are used to fishy stuff around here, so why did you knowingly let it get out of hand? It needn't be this complicated.

Anyway, I genuinely wish you luck with your coin and I would be very pleased to see you hit a huge market cap.

You will not control my own actions.

Hmmm, I coming down on the side of flaky.

Hope it works out for you.... I'm out.

Maybe he is also buying.

Of course he fucking is, that's my point.... you really don't get it, do you?
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: March 10, 2016, 04:37:03 PM

Because the panic causes sales, which allows for better distribution... everything is playing out as it should

So, you agree that he is using his insider knowledge to manipulate the market to the cost of some of his investors?

Great.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: March 10, 2016, 04:32:26 PM
He will not update untill there is something seriously worth sharing he has collected a big bag of coins to pump.

FTFY.

Shape was here again 30 minutes ago, but still hasn't thought to post something to ease his investors minds.

He can see the doubts and chooses to remain silent - why?
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: March 10, 2016, 01:30:54 PM
I originally thought this was going to be a good coin, but my opinion, I'm afraid, is changing.

What has been happening over the last few days has all the hallmarks of a dev ignoring investors in the hope of the price collapsing (which it has) , so that he can buy up cheap coins before making some announcement that will raise the price.

He's been online several times since his last post over a day ago, but has posted nothing.

There's been no mention of v1.1 for days.

He shut the slack unannounced and still hasn't explained why.

I have posted two items here that, I think, deserved a reply..... they got none. He even asked for a discussion to take place and then virtually disappears.

None of this inspires confidence for the investor, and shape has been around long enough to know this..... why would he behave this way?

Saying he is busy working isn't an answer - I offered to help, I was ignored.

I can't decide if he is bent or just flaky. Either way, I've sold enough of my coins to get my initial investment back plus 12%. I now have a couple of thousand left which I will keep to see what happens, but I won't be buying any more.

Edit:

Shape was online ten minutes after I posted this.... make of that what you will.

207  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bter.com is a scam on: March 09, 2016, 03:48:24 PM
Thought I ought to post here and let people know that I have had 0.5BTC worth of UNITY go missing from Bter today - I can't find any mention of it in withdrawal history and it's not showing on the blockchain. In fact, I can't find a withdrawal history for UNITY at all on the Bter website, even for previous withdrawals I made that worked fine.

I've raised a ticket, but no response yet.

Anyway, it's very odd and I, for one, won't be sending anything else to them - just thought I should let people know.

Have you seen Bittrex?

209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: March 07, 2016, 10:58:34 PM
yeah i'm shocked really i thought something was wrong with my phone when i got on slack. i understand things get tough but that's when the tough get going if he needed help warp has a great community
hat i'm sure would help

I would be happy to take "front of house" duties, such as dealing with fudders on here, I'm no use on the tech side, but I can answer questions and take some of the weight.... if it helps.

I have 25k of WARP staking in my wallet.

Not selling until we get to PoloniEx anyway.

Did you all do a coinrequest at PoloniEx?

https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

It's not going to get onto Polo until this small crisis is over and there are working wallets.

Polo are super picky about the coins they list.

Then I have some more time for staking  Grin

I like the way you think  Grin Grin Grin

I am guessing that:

1
Wj2MohNY...
90,431.0 WARP   8.25 %   5 hours
2
WWPgUKpU...
81,896.4 WARP   7.47 %   12 hours 40 minutes

Are exchange wallets?

Almost certainly the Bittrex and Yobit wallets...... almost certainly.

he wanted it spread out a bit more

Well, it worked, it's being dumped to some very low bids.

Why has the Slack been deleted?

It doesn't help fend off FUD when things like this happen unannounced.

To get a place on this board, I have suggested the creation of an asset, that can be bought with WARP. However, asset holdings are not the only criteria to join.

Hi shape,

Firstly, I thought you handled the small issues with v1.1 very well, it also allowed me to sell a bunch at 5ksat and buy back in at below 3.9ksat - I'm one happy bunny.

Anyway, about the board, how about trying something completely different or would this be a step too far?

There are a lot of advantages to this system, not the least being how difficult it makes it for cabals to form or "big characters" (or rich ones) to dominate proceedings.

Just a thought.....

i dont mean to sound snarky

Ahem...

but it galls me when people make blanket statements like that without proper research or FACTS

I joined Poloniex the first day they traded, I was there when they got hacked, I know the people who run it and I can tell you that they are very jealous of their reputation... Soil will not be on there any time soon. Oh, and it wasn't a "blanket statement", I was being very specific about SOIL and Poloniex, nothing else.

Quote
as SOIL continues to improve, both in market capitalization and blockchain built contracts, other exchanges will accept us easily

Isn't this what I said?

I'm not trying to bring a downer on here, I am just stating the obvious.

Do I sound snarky now?

Your opinion or you are trying to speak on their behalf? Smiley

It's a fact, they will not list this coin while found blocks are hours apart, there's less than half a dozen miners, volume is tiny etc etc etc.

Getting on Poloniex will not be quick.

Now I can't get Virustotal to scan the exes, it keeps failing. I have no idea why.

Gonna give up on this for now and see how it's going in the morning.

Good luck.

Uh oh....

Error 508.  Resource Limit Is Reached

Same here. The dev did not realise that free resources have limits in how much data can be downloaded. There will be one or two people that got the files before the limit was reached and are now instamining.

Dev get a paid server that can handle the load and re-launch.

Or...
