201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 11, 2020, 01:53:28 PM
Well, you can take advantage on the ponzi scheme actually. I had been joining into networking ponzi scheme.offering products that are not really true and only after the investment and the earnings is through the invites commission. However the process of getting paid is the same the old investors will get paid from the new investors and continue to get more profit through commission they new and old investors will invite for more to invest in to get more commissions.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 11, 2020, 01:40:33 PM
I think not all because others are taking profit. Losing are only to those who are a risk taker when betting. Usually high chance that they can lose high but high chances also they can win high. In sports betting there is no house edge against the one or the platform that has been manage but only a fee that will be taken after the betting takes place. A percentage of what they take is most likely the usual arrangement of sports betting platform.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 11, 2020, 01:37:30 PM
This is actually not new and I remember here in our place that gamblers are betting online and are not using chips anymore. They are using a digital currency but not a cryptocurrency through a card with private key on it to use when betting. They are actually betting online and are using computers. An E-games actually as I happen to go inside but sad to say i left after I was told that I need to be a member to play casino. Probably I will create a thread for them and provide picture of that E games casino.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has it occurred? Or still in progress on: November 10, 2020, 11:45:10 PM
I think he already made it just see what bitcoin now. It is fully p2p using bitcoin network.  If you only have bitcoin client downloaded then you are already part of the bitcoin network which yoi can do transaction and broadcast them to other bitcoin client. Once the node accept the transaction then miners will going to confirm it and place the file on the blockchain. Is there any third party service involve? No there aren't other people involve except the machines being used in the process.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Joe Biden’s Crypto Impact Is Unclear As He Wins Presidency on: November 10, 2020, 11:41:31 PM
Well he has no interest in cryptocurrency and that just it. So? What can we expect? We should not expect something from them.We have already the best system runs towards the bitcoin system there is no doubt about that. I think their influence might not be needing anymore as long as bitcoin is running good and functional then that is better ans enough for us to continue what we like in cryptocurrency.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 10, 2020, 01:33:22 PM
We coule only get an irrelevant answers to the question because as we expected the new administration is prioritizing on the pandemic problem and not the cryptocurrency. Maybe we can hear good news after some time or when this pandemic will going to end. Hopefully soon because I think most of us missed the old normal and not this new normal which is not very pleasing and all are following protocola as mandate by the health organization to avoid the spread of the virus.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: November 10, 2020, 01:29:32 PM
Yes, fiat now had been not doing well and its purchasing power had depleted because people are more needing food rather than money. If the pandemic will going to continue then high chance that it can no longer be use and it will have no value no more. People will going to plant for their living if they wanted to get food to eat. Hopefully this will not going to happen because many people will get affected by it especially us the poor.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does crypto custodial service work? on: November 10, 2020, 01:12:58 PM
No they aren't physical things to be taken from you if you are using custodial wallet. I think custodial wallet are also good because they hold your funds. The wallet that they provide you for your access are controlled by them and they can get your money whenever they wanted. But this could not happen unless they wanted to scam the users usng their services. But they know the possible consequencies  they could get and of course in jail. However, if you wanted a more secure form if holding your funds in crypto then better use non custodial wallet. You have hold of everything that includes your wallet private keys and your crypto funds. Meaning if you lost your wallet keys then no one could get it for you except you yourself only.
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips to overcome fear crypto investment and reason to invest for newbies on: November 10, 2020, 01:05:52 PM

9. Scam, Never trust anyone with your money.
Free giveaways, from fake people using the names and pictures of high profiles in cryptocurrency about a certain giveaways like if you give me 2 ETH i will send you 4ETH that will not going to happen and that is a scam.
Money issue is very hot and this is what the scammers wanted to obtain. So we must be all careful with our money. I always remember especially in telegram a user that copying the name of the community manager and introduces self as the community manager. The trend is that user will ask or invite you to join in them by investing and huge profit as promise. Sad to say they could not scam me because in the first place I have no money hold and I know also that they are just scammers.
210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie- member help! on: November 10, 2020, 12:50:00 PM
Just ask here what help you want. I will bet if you can't get answers especially that there are many active members here in the forum that could address your problem may it be technical problem. However, if you need help and it is all about money then most of us here have the same problem so it might be difficult for us to help you. Anyway, you can get the chance to earn here but do not expect that it will be huge or you can't get scam. There are many scammers here so be awarw of that.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 10, 2020, 12:33:12 PM
Well, the declaration of the profits from the operating gambling casino is based on all the profits minus the operational expenses thus includes salary for the personnel and staff working in that casino. Meaning that it is possible that they could get a good revenue after the cost cut of salary for their personnel and staff. We could not also blame the casino management to force this to happen because of pandemic. Remember that most of the government had set the capacity of the venue to be limited thus it could lessen too the volume of the gamblers that will going to play and the needed personnel and staff also should only the required number to its optimum to maximize health safety protocols.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PRIZE OF FIGHTING Boxing’s biggest contracts revealed on: November 10, 2020, 12:26:52 PM
Well those are Deal per contract and not per fight so i think there is different prize each fight that has not been recorded.
And why is it Manny Pacquiao is not mentioned above?meaning he has lower offers than those 5 ?
I think the money they get is not 100% theirs but should be for management, but still they earn a large amount and should be able to live happily in their old age.
Where have their money invest? There are many who use it to property, cars and do not rule out to business. Sometimes lifestyle makes them bankrupt
https://www.insider.com/mike-tyson-appears-to-blame-women-for-losing-his-money-2020-5
Of course and look at Canelo when he Quit the contract meaning that must not be added as His.

Yes, Manny Pacman Pacquiao should be in the list because he has a good deal with Bob Arum before and make a lot of money as well during his prime. I think recently it was Canelo who is really the cash cow. GGG also signs a a deal with DAZN in a reported eight figures:

https://www.ringtv.com/556098-gennady-golovkin-signs-multi-fight-deal-with-dazn-news-conference-monday-in-l-a/
Well, maybe manny pacquaio did not get enough or as big as being mention above by the OP. Besides, as I check the OP's post it is not his list rather it is from someone who made the news or article.
In my opinion too manny pacquaio is a boxing legend and a hall of famer. We could expect that he should belong to the list. Well, whatever it is those pro.boxers in the list are actually getting a lot of money. Good for them!
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Tips for New Bitcoin (BTC) Investors on: November 09, 2020, 03:47:04 PM
Add more like

invest money you can afford to lose,
do not put your eggs in a single tray (diversified investment or diversified bitcoin wallets either way),
Invest when bitcoin is cheaper and sell when bitcoin is at higher price,
store bitcoin in an offline storage or cold wallet,
use secured and easy to use bitcoin exchange,
then tell one of the trusted member of the family an access to your bitcoin when something happen to bitcoin holder.
I think that is all for now.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: November 09, 2020, 03:43:06 PM
Not really, I do not know if people really avoid bitcoin or they just avoid the people that uses bitcoin for their advantage like the scammers, fraud people and etc. This could be the reason why people hate bitcoin but I think it is opposite to what is happening now. More and more people are counting in to join in investing or utilizing bitcoin for their interest like making bitcoin an asset, investment and a digital currency at the same time. So, why would people would like to avoid bitcoin?
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has interest in bitcoin from community increased significantly yet? on: November 09, 2020, 03:32:16 PM
Base on your graph then none yet but hopefully many will going to get more interest in bitcoin after some big news of bitcoin market progress or the hype about bitcoin having a bull run. High chances that it could happen because bitcoin had proven this already and is very unpredictable. Imagine that the current market price now peak @ 15K$ which is the highest market per btc recorded this year 2020. I am positive that with news, hypes and other ways to get more people interested in bitcoin can be a reason for a bull run.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 09, 2020, 03:17:39 PM
Well, yes in terms of marketcap then among altcoins eth is number 1 altcoins but still to all cryptocurrency eth is next to bitcoin. No crypto could beat bitcoin in terms of market cap for now.

Eth maybe good but I also remember that XRP had been doing good as well that even surpassing the market cap of eth before. You see every crypto is special and only things that these crypto are created because every crypto has different use and aspect. Just take example  of the stable crypto like USDT. This is one also of the best crypto in crypto market.
217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the votin ballot pool too contaminated to be counted? on: November 09, 2020, 03:05:59 PM
Yes, there is no perfect election happen especially here in our place that even the one organize or the authority managed the election process could be bought by money to manipulate the result of the election. Other ways of vote manipulation is the vote.buying which is very rampant around the world. Vote buying is a violation and a big penalty and sanctions await but no one has ever being jailed because of vote buying even the buying of votes take event near in the polling place.
218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit found me on: November 09, 2020, 03:00:31 PM
I apologize for being a total killjoy, but some of you guys are really over-exaggerating how "special" merits are, like it's you've struck gold or something. Cheesy Just do enough research about Bitcoin(you don't even need to be an expert), and no doubt you'll be getting merits left and right.

Congratulations though.
Actually it has been like something special to others and are actually being sold by other users. I am not certain but yes it is possible that merits could be sold to anyone else. Even the nerd or the doctorate of getting merits here in the for are also wondering why merits circulation now is too low or IDK maybe because lately I am not getting some merits from merit source. Anyway, I am not longing for it too as long as I can share and use the forum of some reference that I could get and  learn then that would be fine for me.
219  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 06/11/2020 on: November 09, 2020, 02:42:10 PM
Here is mine too,

The triple 111. At least I have save this hard earn merit. It seems that getting merit is difficult unless you are establish and are also being helpful in the forum. Anyway, nice save merits from different members.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: November 09, 2020, 02:35:41 PM
Only Legends know this guy!  Here comes an another mind blown fact story.

Art Schlichter (former NFL QB) blew $20,000 on gambling midway through his first season, $700,000 by the end of the season, more when suspended in 1984, suspended again in 1985 for gambling, arrested for a gambling operation in 1987 then was caught gambling in jail in 2004.

Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Schlichter
That man surely a deep gambling addict. Imagine even in prison still doing what he like the most which is gambling. I think this guy should be on the nomination for guiness book of record in gambling as die hard gambler. There are really kind of this guy that only appreciate things which we don't and that is the art in gambling. I think it is his passion already to gamble, LOL. Anyway, we have different interest and it just that this guy's interest is in gambling.
