201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much fud and scams in crypto and BTC on: December 24, 2020, 11:38:48 PM
Tell me one sector where there is no scams or FUDs? Education doesn't is professional qualifications not character certificate hence it doesn't matter where these scammers study or graduated. It's high time we should be smart enough to avoid getting trapped and spread awareness. Fuds and FOMOs will be a part of crypto domain forever so we need to learn living with it.
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gave a 230% returns in 2020: will the rally continue? on: December 24, 2020, 10:55:06 PM
Looking at current market situation I am sure Bitcoin will not dip further as I had fear that Bitcoin will dip during Christmas time but we are already in Christmas week so we can now take a breather as Bitcoin is still surging which is a positive sign, we might see a huge shift of investment from Ripple to Bitcoin due to ongoing issue about Ripple.

2021 will be the year of Bitcoin.
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 24, 2020, 09:43:01 PM
Well we still have plenty of days ,few days ago bitcoin struggling to come back at 19k yet it breaks 24,000 ,so what's impossible for bitcoin to achieve ?

i'm still in good faith that another ATh will happen before the year ends ,specially that Ripple investors seems to be changing course now.

True, most of the investors would be switching from Ripple to bitcoin as they cannot rely on other altcoins especially after witnessing what's happening with ripple but year end has always been negative for bitcoin but we are yet to see any dump so we can lbe rest assured about a new ATH by the end of the year.
204  Economy / Speculation / How will Bitcoin trend at this time? on: December 24, 2020, 08:59:19 PM
Every year Bitcoin has not performed at its level best during Christmas and New year, but will it be different this year or else the trend will continue ? We are yet to witness any correction so far and if Bitcoin stays strong this weekend then Bitcoin will easily cross $25000 mark and if we witness any correction then it will be chaos.

What's your opinion on this?
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early signs of crime with bitcoin. on: December 23, 2020, 09:51:59 PM
This is just an attempt from government agencies who are against Bitcoin and to be honest it looks funny to point out crimes related to bitcoin where in such crimes has been taking ace from decades via alternative techniques. Let's not make Bitcoin a scapegoat here and I do agree that some hackers and kidnappers are asking ransom in Bitcoin to avoid traces but we should think of stoping them from commenting crimes in first place instead of terming Bitcoin as criminal's tool.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa's Bitcoin revolution is rapidly growing on: December 23, 2020, 09:04:20 PM
This is a great news and learning curve for other developing nations, Africa is surprising us in more than one way as recently we noticed Nigeria is the second largest users(trade) of bitcoin, we should also appreciate neutrality of the government on crypto related stuffs without which this development will not be possible.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price will Rise to $60,000 by December 2021 on: December 23, 2020, 08:03:50 PM
I'm not surprised to have traders and bitcoin enthusiast speculate this way about bitcoin price without obvious reasons in this bullrun. It lives us to only focus on the possibility of only a buy scenario without any heavy correction or should i say, a bearrun, lol. By the way, is there any such thing as a bearrun?
the $60,000 speculation seems to me like a too high target. Mind you, all time highs as we are still waiting to see the closure of this bullrun are major resistant zones and they often serve for a longer period so, lets not be too excited about the bullrun and run our analysis based on definite market determinants to get a proper picture of the market.

I know as even I feel the same because nowadays people are predicting any random figure without any backing or logic. I think it's not appropriate to predict the price for end of next year wherein we are yet to see what's gonna happen till the end of this year. Propel have just two concept in there mind as follows:

1. If there is a pump then people will predict random but high figure stating Bitcoin will cross that mark.

2. If there is a dump then they will say Bitcoin is bubble, other coins will replace bitcoin, end of bitcoin.

Let's not just write anything for the sake of completing post count.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to XRP market now that SEC is suing Ripple? on: December 23, 2020, 07:05:14 PM
Outcome of the case will decide future of Ripple as it might even go zero if SEC is successful but if the outcome is in the favour of Ripple then it will bounce back by providing huge return to those who have invested today but those who have already invested in Ripple when it was at ATH for the year will be at losing end so it's going to be a sleepless night for them whether to cashout or Ripple will bounce back. It's better to cashout of Ripple or else need to stay upto date by setting a red line for cashing out.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Covid 2.0 UK has suffered massively and BTC is dropping on: December 22, 2020, 09:20:32 PM
The idea of having another Nightmare alone is really suffering ,we already hated the idea of the first so what more the next ?

But the effect in crypto is far from what Covid is giving, yeah at first there is a crash but along the way Market proves that even Pandemic wont stop the Bull coming after each halving .

I suppose that you were just being affected mentally and physically of this Lockdowns ,You will be good sooner.

That's true, the effect of covid pandemic is not as effective in crypto as it has been for other sectors but I am afraid it's the funs and rumors which misleads people and someone's assumption get so much of limelight people start reacting to it.

As far as bullrun is concerned I would say apart from Bitcoin other alts have kot yet experienced bullrun so far this year and hopefully they might have bullrun next year depending on bitcoin's movementum.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2021/2022 going to see a huge boom and crash like 2017 and 2013 on: December 22, 2020, 08:04:09 PM
We are already in the situation wherein people are investing into Bitcoin in FOMO, this year's bullrun has been bit different than the previous one as we have not seen so much surge in the value of altcoins which was not the case in 2017. As a well wisher of bitcoin I always wish for prosperity of bitcoin but I know it's not practically possible everytime and we are hardly one dump away from panic selling period which might push Bitcoin into bearish market. We cannot predict it at this point of time.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: December 21, 2020, 10:27:35 PM
If you are a long term investor go ahead with current price as I don't suggest buying at this price if you are looking for a quick gain as we have seen drop in the value of Bitcoin so it's really important to wait for a bit for bitcoin to drop in its value and then buyback through a reputed exchange. We might see further bull run as well henc eif value starts increasing inside of decreasing then please buy back immediately.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're almost half way to 100x (250k) on: December 21, 2020, 09:43:46 PM
Indeed, it's a massive gain since last bear market and this is a proof that $120k does seem to be far away but it's neither gonna take place in 2021 as Bitcoin requires ample amount of time since we have achieved this percentage of price increase in a span of 3 years. We should be optimistic but not unreasonable in terms of prediction.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the founder of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto show up and give bitcoin? on: December 21, 2020, 09:20:32 PM
This doesn't make sense to me because Satoshi doesn't matter anymore and stuffs you have mentioned why Satoshi might show up are far from logical and even if Satoshi make a comeback still it won't matter now because now the Bitcoin market is huge unlike what it was earlier and now one person or institution cannot control Bitcoin originally. Satoshi was the past which doesn't matter anymore.
214  Economy / Speculation / Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2020, 08:51:31 PM
Here we are again at crossroads to choose whether to cashout bitcoin which we have or else Hodl for some more time? This week is undoubtedly most complicated week of the year for bitcoin users because history has not been so kind to bitcoin towards the end of year's post bullruns. If Bitcoin has already achieved its ATH for the season then it's better to cashout but if Bitcoin is going to surge further then HODling is sensible but how do you figure out as we cannot depend of predictions since it fails most of the time. What's your opinion?
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was 22.3K the correction? on: December 21, 2020, 08:28:02 PM
I think it's correction period and it's not going to stop here we might see more fluctuations in upcoming weeks and it's not new, this happens in the last week of every year, I just hope we don't face one more downfall which we faced towards the end of 2017 and begining of 2018.

If the value of Bitcoin drops below $20k before the end of the year then we are in trouble.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria is now the No.2 bitcoin market on: December 21, 2020, 08:09:26 PM
It's bit shocking as well as surprising to see Nigeria being second on the list. Nigerians have always shown interest into Bitcoin and had been participating in all the Bitcoin related events. I have few Nigerian friends who don't miss any chance on spreading words about Bitcoin by sharing awareness. Moreover, this is a good tight slap on face of people who view entire Nigerians with a doubt for wrong doing of few.

This news has elated me and wish more success to the developing nation.
217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Can Be Bought With Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2020, 07:20:44 PM
It depends on where you are based because ther are some ecommerce sites reserved for certain geographic regions, I do see other users have already shared the links of business who accepts bitcoin. Just in case if you are planning to buy stuffs with bitcoin then I would request you to change your plan because you may regret it later, bitcoin as a mode of cross-border payment or transaction is fine but not for purchasing goods as we shouldn't become an example like the guy who spend bitcoin for Pizza.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone will agree with Bitcoin, you should know this! on: December 20, 2020, 09:19:14 PM
There are many billionaires like Mark Cuban who have already invested into Bitcoin and some of them became billionaires thanks to bitcoin. We shouldn't be paying much attention to Mark Cuban's statement, because we cannot forcefully change or showcase benefits of bitcoin when he has already decided to hate bitcoin regardless of its growth and benefits.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Example > Another odd opinion about Bitcoin on: December 20, 2020, 08:10:53 PM
That's perhaps his opinion as we cannot force our opinion on others but we all know that all the computers will not shut down and for that instance we cannot make digital payment or credit/debit card payment as well if network fails and if we start to figure out limitations about a particular coin or entity we can list down hundred of limitations as well as benefits and at the end of the day our preference matters. When Bitcoin become more mainstream people will stop these negativity by default.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another ATH ( all time high) | Another Milestone | $24k BTC on: December 20, 2020, 07:33:56 PM
People buying btc as a store of value no doubt otherwise what other explanation can be given from the above screenshot,  I just can't imagine what will happen in Q1 2021, at what price btc will be trading! So far it seems strong hands are in btc because no serious dump has occurred since the price pump.

Yes, it definitely looks like some strong hands are in bitcoin because we haven't seen much dump since the recent pump, either it might be due to strong hand or else it's a market reaction where demand is much more than supply thus surging the price of Bitcoin, also this time some major players who missed it or didn't believe in bitcoin last time might have invested for a long run.
