201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat vs Crypto in money laundering on: July 15, 2020, 07:26:02 AM
It's game over for criminals who used or plan to use crypto to embezzled money from illegal sources or stolen funds, you are been watched, once your address get blacklisted it's over, crypto is no more a safe place for criminals and I'm happy about it
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: July 14, 2020, 07:04:58 AM
We are told several times on this forum never to leave your coins on exchange, well I know the difference about low rated exchanges and high rated exchanges and I know that many traders prefer high rated exchanges for trading because of volume and Liquidity but my point is there is no way to be a trader without your coins sleeping in exchange wallets, why? Because sometimes while you are asleep bitcoin can hit a new price target.

For example BTC is trading at 8000$ and I put up a sell order at 9000$, most times this won't happen in an instant, sometimes you wake up the next day and your order became successful isn't it? Now for those saying 'don't leave your coins on exchanges' how do you trade?
There is no way you won't deposit coins on exchange but it all depends on timing, the advice was never to leave your coins on exchanges like making use of the exchange wallet as your real wallet to store coins when you have no private backup of the wallet, you can trade in minutes or hours or days but do not leave your coins on exchanges means don't treat exchange wallets as yours
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: July 14, 2020, 07:01:45 AM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

I think you are half right and half wrong, some listed projects that run bounties loses value but some projects that are trading and decide to run bounty Campaign can add more value after bounty ends, it's not something to debates on because it's vice versa, depending on how good the listed project is actually
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ask about DeFi this year on: July 14, 2020, 06:57:09 AM
Hello everyone I am new here, and I want to start investing, lately the DeFi Project is good this year, there are many ubiquitous DeFi projects, both on Twitter and on the Telegram channel, Am I investing in every DeFi Project that can make a profit? Huh
another one is DeFi becoming a promising business in the future? Cheesy
I can actually give you a clue about DeFi projects you need to stay the hell away from, be more careful around new DeFi projects because the hype will definitely attract scammers to this DeFi use case, DeFi projects have been around for a while, it's better to choose the old DeFi projects
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 09, 2020, 12:29:53 PM
Hi , I have never invested for a project , i need to invest for a project and i have an idea to invest on this project - https://curioinvest.com/car/4
But i need your opinions about this project ? Is it a Scam project ?
Will it be Profitable for me ?

I don't know since I'm just hearing the name for the first time, you can easily lose money on altcoins, I invested in some and belief me not a single one still have same value as when I bought them, they've lose value over time, bitcoin, ethereum and few coins on top 10 are just better
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: July 09, 2020, 12:25:33 PM
I use trust wallet and coinomi wallet only for few years now, they are both very good but features are different in transaction aspect and another thing is tokens get added on trust wallet automatically without needing to add smart contract addresses yourself, all in all they are both very good
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what you getting into on: July 09, 2020, 12:22:39 PM
I've seen few coins that pump massively this year and they were so low in value before, no matter what decisions you make there will be some risks involved, some times holding coins for too long can make you lose big opportunities, for example coins that pump massively while you locked them away in your wallet because you plan to come back few years later... What ever coins you holding always look out for them, for news and price, opportunity can rise at any time
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 08, 2020, 03:28:58 PM
I have noticed that there are many people here who do not understand that many cryptocurrencies are stablecoins. Stablecoin means that its price is designed to be as stable as possible. That means there will be no ROI from buying and hodling bunch of stablecoins. Coins with very large or infinite max supply are very likely designed to be stablecoins because that way they can stabilize the price by emitting more coins when the coin scales rapidly. Just like they do with FIAT to keep the exchange rate stable. Stablecoins are rarely perfectly stable, but they are considered stablecoins because of their effort to keep the price stable.
Are newbies this stupid not to know the difference between a stable coin and a volatile coin? Have you ever seen people investing in stable coins to make gains? This is impossible, people buy stable coins to store $$$, most times traders use stable coins to take advantage of the market when dumps happens, I do the same too
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 08, 2020, 03:26:59 PM
I don't know the name of the bounty manager that's in charge of whalesheaven bounty campaign but I can say he or she is a pro, doing this will neutralize spammers, well rules are rules, if you don't like the rules don't bother joining the bounty campaign
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next monster on: July 08, 2020, 03:24:44 PM
I've been reading the archives of this forum over the past few days for the first posts about Ethereum, Binance, XRP etc.

Many posters calling them scams and shitcoins initially and a number of posters praying for Ethereum to get to $10 so they would become millionaires. I want people to look back at this thread in years to come and highlight the posters that predicted the next huge altcoins and it would also be good to see what people are investing in outside the top 100.

I'll start - NULS.

Maybe the best tech I have come across with an extremely dedicated team and great community. With it's easy to use staking platform, chain factory and Nerve - the decentralised digital asset service network I think this coin will start making moves into the top 20 over the next year. Constantly ranked in the top 10 projects on CCID (China based crypto ranking) it's only a matter of time before this project explodes.

Let me know your dark horses for the next big altcoin..
This nonsense is still happening till date, I wish newbies can take some time to do same research you did OP, investors want instant gains that can get them rich which isn't possible, those who called coins like ethereum and ripple scam years ago are now regretting.

Good things takes time, having enough patience is the only way to make it in crypto space, stop expecting coins to become ten folds in just two years
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will it take for crypto payment to go mainstream? on: July 08, 2020, 03:21:31 PM
We need many hybrid crypto-fiat payment systems, not just one, that will accept well recognized crypto coins as means of payment, these payment solutions will power both online and offline merchants, for example Wepay and Alipay kinda thing then crypto will reach it's full long awaited dream
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any opinions about USDC? on: July 07, 2020, 08:58:14 AM
USDC is fine since it's from the popular coinbase itself, I'm just more satisfied with USDT, they are both centralized stable coins but they work fine, I have nothing against Centralized stable coins since they aren't volatile, USDT just have the better support judging from it's huge marketcap
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 07, 2020, 08:56:01 AM
Bounty campaigns are unpredictable. Speaking of success, it is said that you should join bounties that are handled by a trusted managers in order for you to receive the rewards in the long run.  However there are also good profitable bounties that can be taken from not popular bounty manager but too risky to join.
I can name few bounty campaigns that I joined this year and last year that are manages by the project's team members themselves? What's your take on this? It's not always about the reputation of bounty managers, quality of the projects are important too
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 07, 2020, 08:53:06 AM
Some bounty managers are directly involved with scam projects. They themselves build a website, run bounty here and scam investors money while promoters receive nothing. Kakatua is one of examples. So, it is always better to only participate in campaigns which is managed by reputed campaign managers like Yahoo, Hhampuz. Remember, it is better to join one campaign a year than hundreds in a month.
Since you mentioned Yahoo and Hhampuz then this post doesn't belong in this section, these two bounty managers are known for introducing only BTC paying campaigns, this is altcoin section, how about mentioning some well known altcoin bounty managers since you create this topic in altcoin section??
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 07, 2020, 08:50:39 AM
Sorry OP you picked a very bad project, there are many better options in the market, why did you choose such coin? Team hardly keeps development alive, channels are cold as frozen chicken, there are ways to choose good projects and I think you should spend time looking for how
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 03, 2020, 07:04:55 AM
You have a point, not bad at all if bounty managers can start knowing project team very well before accepting their offer but don't expect that all bounty managers can do this, it's not really to manage a bounty campaign trust me
217  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kingcasino from bounty detective turned scam on: July 03, 2020, 07:02:59 AM
Every gambling projects will one way or the other turn scam, even those old casino projects that many high ranking members of this forum promoted through signature Campaign have turned scam and the remaining few ones are ripping people off.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm new here,what is altcoin on: July 02, 2020, 09:57:21 AM
Altcoins are other coins in crypto space meaning alternative coins, Bitcoin is the first of it's kind and every other that come later are alternative, that's what give birth to altcoins, it's just a short name to alternative coins
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for the DFINITY airdrop on: July 02, 2020, 09:55:45 AM
I joined few airdrops that asked for KYC in 2018 and few of them paid, coinsbit and origin project airdrop was the one I joined last and they paid but I have never seen a airdrop project that ask people for deposits before sending them token, it's red flag
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just because it's called a shitcoin doesn't mean it really is on: July 01, 2020, 08:29:18 AM
Compare to how team member of new projects are today electroneum team are better because they never give up, more use case will be implemented in future, many thing otherwise against this coin but it's only a matter of time they will be surprised, capable team is all what a new project needs, even if a project has a very good use case if the team aren't capable the project will fail, that's not the case with electroneum
