201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: March 25, 2024, 09:09:29 AM
I choose to avoid any casino deposit bonuses because they always look straight out of the box but when you open them up you will see how deep they truly are.

Deposit bonuses comes will lots of garbage, they always have conditions applied, and if those conditions are not fully meet, your deposit bonuses aren't really going to be yours.

Since the day I learned about this I have stopped to go after any deposit bonuses even away from gambling, because other only platforms also have this bonuses like crypto exchanges and click-to-earn platforms.

In the end, you will find out that you have been used by this so-called deposit bonuses, a total waste of time, it won't sit we'll with someone who is just starting, but they will find out in the end.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: March 24, 2024, 11:11:01 AM
I wouldn't have said this but I am much more concerned about the fact that we have been hearing so many people talking about holding Bitcoin for the long term and never selling. I find it so confusing that after investing so much in Bitcoin for years we won't want to sell our bitcoin till we die.

I've been buying Bitcoin since last year when it dipped in December i know it's not long. Since then I have held my bitcoin firmly regardless of the price increase this year I still decided to sit on it. Although I do not have enough Bitcoin because I have little money then if I were to sell my holdings now I would have 3 times of I invested.

Also, I have the belief that Bitcoin will keep breaking new ATH forever. Should I leave my Bitcoin forever without selling it or set a goal that I have in mind and when it reaches that goal I sell and take my profits?

What do you do?

On what principles guide your actions in the realm of Bitcoin (BTC)?

OP what do you think?

What do you want out of Bitcoin?

You don't have to do what others are doing, I hope you know that, just make up your own mind and do what you want with Bitcoin, you don't have to hold until the end of time, although I dont want to live without no Bitcoin at all.

Have your plan, you can hold for the short term or long term, it's your Bitcoin, so do whatever you like, I have Bitcoin and I plan to hold for a long time, this won't stop me from taking profits either, do not forget that there will always be a bear market and bull market.

It makes less sense to hold Bitcoin through a bear market just because you dont want to be out of Bitcoin, I will always sell in a bull market, secure some profits, and buy back in a bear market, this will increase your bitcoin than holding and buying.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 09:46:11 AM
To avoid high transaction fees on the Bitcoin network, I started using an exchange address and it got to a time when they updated the address and I lost some Bitcoin, thankfully it wasn't much but I was unable to recover the Bitcoin, I feel at ease because the amount isn't much but I got scared after thinking about what if I sent a lot of Bitcoin into the wallet?

I reached out to exchange customer services and they don't even care, they ask how much and that's it, I replied but they never got back to me, when I told a friend who's close to me, he said the amount is too small for them to even waste their time on, that if it's much they would help.

My mind was on, what if they don't help? Since that day I have learned to always go back and check the address if it's still the same old address before sending any Bitcoin to the address, be careful trusting crypto wallets from exchanges or any online casinos, those addresses are not permanent.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 24, 2024, 08:13:17 AM
A friend, (doesn't stay close to me) called me up on the phone this morning, I was surprised to see his call since it's been a while we Last spoke to each other, and talking to him again on the phone was the last thing on my mind, and Answered the call and we greeted as usual.
He went on to ask me for financial assistance, that he is totally broke and have asked all his friends who are close by, and non of them agreed they have enough so as to lend him some money, he went on to tell me that I am his last hope, that he wouldn't have bothered me if he had anyone else to call or turn to.

I asked him what happened? What the sudden need for financial assistance? He tried lying (I noticed from his turn) but later, he opened tell me that he had some funds on him which could possibly have sustained him until this month ending to get his salary, but he didn't know what came over him, he went to a casino last night and in the process of trying out one and two games, he gambled and lost every single penny on him, and now, he has nothing to fall back on for the few days remaining before he gets his salary for the month of March.

Long story short, I wasn't going to help him, most especially for the fact his a single guy, but out of pity, I later lended him $20.

But then, this got me wondering why a full grown person will gamble until he or she has no money left in his or her bank account, and no cash at hand, I personally have on several occasions gambled away every single cash I had at hand, but I always had some money in the bank to fall back on, together with my family.

I am just wondering if anyone here have ever been in a similar situation before? That is, gambling until you are completely broke with nothing to fall back on?
No money in the bank, no cash in the hand, what did you do?

Or maybe gambled until you are one bet away from going broke (if you lose), do you go ahead and risk the money, or cancel the bet and  keep that money for something more important?

If anyone, especially a grown-ass man has nothing in his bank account or at hand then something very bad has happened, if you find out that they are into gambling then thats the problem, they must have lost everything to gambling and i doubt they recently lost everything, most I know are into gambling as gradual hobby, they keep losing money over and over and they don't know how to readjust their strategy.

Your friend is already addicted to gambling, the 20$ you are sending to him can also be used to gamble again, I hope he knows that he is on trouble, if an addict knows and admits that he is addicted to gambling, he will be able to work on himself to stop his addiction.

If you can, I think you should tell him that he is addicted to gambling, there is no way he can lost everything in a single or two rounds of games, he must have been gambling for a while, you said its been long since you guys talk? I bet he has been busy, with gambling all this while, let him know that he needs to be aware that he is addicted to gambling and only him can stop the addiction.
205  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit locked/pending withdrawals on: March 24, 2024, 07:38:21 AM
This is even a bigger problem than I thought, the online casino is restricting OP's country, and finding out that he is from a restricted country will give the casino a more valid reason to proceed as they want with this issue.

Its not their fault, people really need to start looking into terms and conditions, finding out if your country is supported or not, because there will surely come a day like this where you can be the next to be asked to pass KYC verification.

Someone called me stupid for passing KYC on online casinos before using, I will have to invite him yo this forum so that he can read this problem, maybe learn from it, to avoid unwanted problems is why I always pass KYC even before using online casinos, I don't follow others who only pass KYC when they are asked to.
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't Fall Victim on: March 22, 2024, 05:41:18 AM
I will advise any developer to release their coins after Bitcoin halving, many investors don't understand that a bear market is also not very nice with developers, they struggle to keep their projects alive in a bear market, I dont feel like it is wrong to release your project after BTC halving, its smartness.

If your timing is right you can avoid dumps but still, a project released after bitcoin halving can turn into a scam, in this crypto space it's better to be more interested in timing, even shitcoin can bring you insane money if your entry is good enough, like how Dogwifhat did days ago.

I am into new projects but I always make sure that they raise goof amount of money and probably from Dao maker or Binance Launchpad, it gives me more assurance on how reliable the project is.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling friendly countries on: March 21, 2024, 10:35:29 AM
Why did you ask this question? I do not think anyone will want to relocate because of gambling to be tax free.

I do some findings about it and I saw this online https://www.vegasmaster.com/gambling-tax-free-countries

It might not be very accurate but when I checked another site, I saw some countries that I saw on this site there.
Yes, it's not worth relocating for, because gambling is not a business or a source of income, If you keep losing money in your country, you will keep losing money in another country, it's not about the tax if you are making enough money, but in the case of gambling you might not make anything good or you can even lose everything.

I can relocate to avoid war, I can relocate because of my business, I know someone who relocated because of crypto mining, he is a friend from China and he moved into an African country, these are worthy because you keep on making that money like you always do, but not in gambling.

You should go to Macao if you are someone who only knows how to live as a gambler, Macao has very low tax policies, but I am not sure it's worth it from my side because gambling has a very high chance of turning you into a loser than a winner.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 21, 2024, 09:07:55 AM
Mobile gaming comes with ads, this was one of the ways I came across casinos online years ago, people like downloading games via Google PlayStore, and when they install and start playing the game, a few ads will pop onto the screen, and to continue playing you need to watch the video ads to the end, I believe this will be effective because almost everyone in this world have a smartphone.

Another effective one is streamers online, I don't do this but I know that they have a lot of traffics, people do watch them a lot and the result is way faster than displaying ads because the streamers but gamble on the casino while on live to their audience.

When someone ask me about starting a new online casino I always ask them about finance first, because the more money you are willing to spend the better the awareness will be, if you can spend then you will easily grab good numbers of attention online.
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be ready when it comes to selling? on: March 21, 2024, 08:08:59 AM
You still have some months left to sell just like you said and it takes only a second for everything to go wrong with any centralized exchange, are you sure you know what you are doing?

Your 25% can be $1000 or even $1M, it's still a lot of money, your digital assets are safe in your cold storage, how many seconds its going to take you to move your assets from your cold storage to any exchange and sell?

Don't be stupid, move them back into your cold storage, since you are not selling today, and sit down and think about how you will start taking your profits and when, if you don't have this in place already its not safe.

Many investors failed to have a profit taking strategy in place and when Bitcoin and other ALTs are pumping hard, they find it hard to take profit and they ride down bear market again, if you are in profit you are in profit, do not be greedy, take some off the table.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 21, 2024, 07:05:27 AM
Do you feel sad when your favorite team loses a match and the bet (if you had placed a bet on that match)?

It is part of every sport where a team loses and a team wins the match. A team is happy and a team is sad, not only in cricket but in other sports too like basketball, volleyball and the last best sport Football.

Also, a match isn't considered a loss but if that match is a final, semi final or such a big match for example between two rivalry teams then it will be like this, but at the same time for us, even if the match isn't important in the context of the series but we place the bet and lose it, it's our lost booked and there are no second thoughts about it.

When your team wins you have happiness. Everything goes wrong including your mood and emotions if the team on which we place the bet loses the match unexpectedly.
Mind you, just because it's your favorite team doesn't mean you should risk a lot of money on the team, they can be defeated and you will lose money, I know that people get emotions with sports and if your sadness is only about the defeat its better than been defeated and also lost some money.

Favorite team or not, we must always risk a little amount of money on any of them, how they will perform is not in your control, and who will get lucky between the two teams is unknown, even if your team play very well, the other team might be lucky and manage to defeat your favorite team.

it surely won't be the end of the world but no game is worth risking way too much money on, learn to be responsible with gambling no matter what, it doesn't matter if it's your favorite or not, always use what you can afford to lose.
211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Leads to Colabs/Promoters ? on: March 20, 2024, 11:21:16 AM
Hi All,

I have done some searching across different social media platforms but I thought I would come here to see if anyone may know or have any leads as the forum has always been the most helpful thus far.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know an individual or groups that would be interested in doing a direct promotion to raise awareness and help grow the 8ombard platform?

The main factor I am looking for isn’t necessarily a large following, but someone who has more of an organic relationship with their followers. Someone who engages with their fans/followers and is willing to help 8ombard.com grow.

I am happy to speak to anyone if they have any questions or suggestions.
I thought 8ombard is already running a campaign on this forum? What are these online casinos to you OP? Are you the owner?

Anyway, if you feel that you aren't getting enough attention then hire another BM and run two campaigns at this time, mind you it's too early, since this online casino is a new one, it is going to take time to start seeing positive results.

You need to make a lot of noise if you want fast growth, like running many more campaigns, the present signature campaign is open to very few numbers of promoters, expand it or hire another bounty manager to make more noise.

Reputation isn't something you can acquire in a matter of weeks or months, it takes a lot of time, and money well spent, you can also consider casino streamers, just be prepared to spend even more.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake it all put of over confidence in your club on: March 20, 2024, 10:12:33 AM
Have anyone ever had confidence in any match that he was willing to be huge amounts to back up the confidence in a match that features his club. A friend of mine recently shocked me with how much passion and confidence he had in his club, man u vs liverpool  that happened on Sunday I guess was a very hard match cause Liverpool was already stomping 0:2 to man United but my friend was telling that man United won't lose the match, so I told him that if he has much confidence that he should stake life, shocking to me he went on and staked 5k on man United win to qualify which was about 7 odds at that time, and yeah it turned out right for him. Can any one do this or was it a foolish move?
There could be more to him than meets the eye, some people are gifted and they can sometimes predict very right, I am not a huge fan of gambling but outside of gambling my beliefs have gotten me to the state that I am in right now.

I have people around me that are now scared of my will and beliefs, because everything I turned out to be was something I used to tell them when I had nothing, I mean I ended up doing it like I said I would.

It's hard for things to go your way when you have nothing to show for it, even people around you won't believe it until you prove them wrong.

I just happen to believe that gambling will never go the way I wanted, because I see gambling as a way of the fools, its easy to be an idiot in gambling than anything else, I like real things and outcome than something that relies on total luck.

213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AZORult stealer targets crypto wallets with a sophisticated HTML smuggling on: March 20, 2024, 09:06:47 AM
Why should anyone open a PDF file that isnt yours? Anyways, this is one of the reasons why I will always hate PC for storing anything crypto related, its a bad idea for anyone because you can one day click on something unknowingly, and everything is gone.

A cousin of mine lost his wallet too using his laptop, he claimed he was drunk on that day, but he needed to make some transactions because of his little sister waiting on him to settle some debts in school.

See the thing is, its very easy to mess things up using a computer, I am not surprised by what OP shared, there are even many more ways to compromise your crypto wallet on a PC than many know.

I chose peace after going for an air-gapped crypto wallet, now I use my PC to do anything that I like, I don't have to connect my hardware wallet to anything before making transactions, one more headache is down, all I should worry about should not pass keeping my recovery seed safe, not trying to look out for viruses and spyware's on my PC, too much things to worry about.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friends engaging on P2P gambling insights grudges amongst themselves on: March 20, 2024, 08:45:23 AM
Hmm, this makes me think about a lot of other things.

P2P gambling with friends can suck if you all can't trust each other, not all friends like keeping their words, and fights? This happens even in online  multiplayer games like Fortnite.

Are there people hoping that Metaverse works well with gambling? It's going to be the same experience, people will always be people, there will be fights and hateful words coming from friends to friends.

Still, I recommend online gambling among friends, with a metaverse idea, because the company will be the middle man, when or if anyone wins they get paid, and about the hate words and cursing, the company only needs to introduce a ban on anyone's account if they use hateful words on other players.

If you don't want to be monitored, I doubt you will have a good experience gambling with your friends, when people even friends lose money unexpectedly, they will probably misbehave, and also you can't tell if your friend is really ready to lose some certain amount.
215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about self investment too. on: March 19, 2024, 03:31:50 PM
To make more money or increase your income you need to improve yourself also, learning new things is self improvement and I do this all the time, my next self investment is to buy trading tools that works, I've tried some before and I think I found a better one this time around, I've spent thousands to improve my self and it did paid off.

Not all self investment requires money, but the result will surely bring you more money, its about learning new skills, evolve with the world and learning new things, this will make money inflow to be unstoppable, do not wait for some difficulty to come before you decide to learn new things.

Nice advice by the way.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does pragmatic play bonus buy really worth it? on: March 19, 2024, 02:31:53 PM
Go to Reddit online, and you will see many gamblers throwing shades on Pragmatic Play, calling it a scam, I guess too many people got bad results from Pragmatic Play, but I don't care, if Pragmatic is giving me the joy that I want from Slots game then I am good.

Gamblers want to win, by all means necessary, instead, they keep losing money, but some people are getting good results from Pragmatic, they only need to be less desperate as a gambler and do it the right way.

If you want you can purchase all available bonuses you can, but only do this if you have spare money, there is no guarantee that you will make money buying bonuses.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: March 19, 2024, 11:10:02 AM
You can offer them some fancy "crypto dice" option with cooler odds,

And what are those "cooler odds", I'm wondering? Is it 0.5% or something? Are they much cooler? I've never seen the odds better than 0.5% HE on dice, and I can tell you that between 0.5% and 1% house edges there's no big difference. Regarding your chance of winning it's almost the same thing.

but let's be real, sometimes people just wanna believe in their lucky stars, even when the stars are rigged. ‍~

Stars can't be rigged, my friend. They are stars. If there is some precise order in this universe, it's in the stars.
LMAO, don't mind the guy, he is trying to finetune the whole thing, as if stars can be rigged, there are no human thats capable of doing such a thing, it's impossible.

You can mess with Motherland and she won't fight back instantly, but don't mess with the sky, like humans normally do with the lands.

Gambling is a wrong thing to play your lucky stars with, you will lose your money and probably end up counting the stars in the sky, its better to learn how to be a responsible gambler rather than having some expectations.

Those who win when gambling mostly don't see it coming, because they have other reasons why they are gambling, they understood the risk.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: March 19, 2024, 10:52:46 AM
Take it or leave it, the percentage of losers will always be more than the winners, even outside of gambling and casinos, look around you, how many people are rich in your circle today? There will always be low number of winners in the world, its normal and it's called balancing.

Not everyone will be rich even if they try, to become successful you need to pass through a lot of trials and errors, not many people are willing to go through this, they are scared of trying and failing.

This alone is why the world is full of losers, they quit easily, but when they hear about gambling turning someone into a millionaire in a day, they will want to give all their might to this, simply because its easy.

Gambling is no ones mate, do not expect gambling to bring you out of poverty, its likely to take you further deep into poverty than before, to be honest its not a fair way of making money, why should anyone depend on it?
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: March 18, 2024, 01:36:27 PM
I learned how to play worth and other cards in school, none of my family members do this for fun, but skipping classes to do this isn't one of them, I was very serious with my studies until I found out that based on the condition of my country's economy it will be hard to use my degrees to make money.

I have engaged in other gambling activities after school and they are great times, but we risked very small money, especially money meant for our afternoon food, it was a crazy and great time.

I can still remember when my brother lost is money to bet, the game was local type and I sorted everything out, we shared my food together and another time we won those friends too and they went home on hungry stomachs.

I have always known that gambling is risky, and I don't like risking a lot of money on this games, its fair enough if you lose money that you can easily make back in a day, how cool is that?
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 18, 2024, 12:17:30 PM
Always get to know your partner better before getting married, know what they are into and what they aren't into, if what they like doing doesn't sound well for you, do not be blinded by love, find someone else.

There is nothing anyone can use to confuse me that an addict can keep his or her home without one of them getting tired, have you ever leave with a addict in the same roof? It's very hard.

In the end, if they fail to change, everyone closer to them starts keeping their distance, and they will end up alone, can I judge that they are evil people for leaving the addicted person? No way, because I know how it feels to live with an addicted person, either drugs or gambling.
