201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bull run of BTC start soon? on: June 30, 2018, 09:21:20 PM
This year , upto now is not good for crypto investors. Value of the investment is far less than previous year. We saw last year BTC went pass 19k and now it is around 7-8k. Price of btc is fluctuating. Therefore alt price also not increasing. Every investors hope the recover of market soon. But it didn't happen yet. Some experts said that it will start on june. What do you think about this situation?
Bitcoin price went up in December 2017 because of some positive news (entering Chicago exchange, first real estate deal using BTC, ...), but in fact all this optimism was exaggerated.
There are no prerequisites in July for BTC to recover to at least $8k as the CFTC (U.S. COMMODITY FUTURES TRADING COMMISSION) criminal investigation concerning some of the exchanges is still ongoing.
Based on the experience, such cases can last for months, so we should be as pessimistic as we could when calculating our future prospects.

202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Problems: Lack of regulation creates a risky environment. on: June 28, 2018, 09:41:08 PM
One of the large problems of Bitcoin as well as the other value-based blockchain network.
Regulation will kill bitcoin because its main goal - decentralization - will be compromised.
After we hear that this or that country tried to regulate bitcoin its price always goes down - and that's a very bad signal.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin ethical? on: June 27, 2018, 03:55:12 PM
But at this stage it isn’t clear if Bitcoin is just creating a new wealth gap, present across a younger tech-savvy generation.
Theoretically, Bitcoin could have given equal opportunities for all the people willing to deal with it.
But in practice, only those who had a start-up capital or were the lucky guys not to lose their private keys from BTC wallets created back in 2009 gained their profit.
At the same time, there is a bunch of ways to earn your crypto without the need of big investment, but takes pretty much time...
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the trading on: June 26, 2018, 07:56:06 PM
They say that day trading is a skill, so practicing should make you good at it right? How long someone from newbie to advanced should spend to be considered good?
Before starting to trade one should get some practice with small amounts of cheap coins in order to get the whole idea and choose the best trading technique.
It all depends on the educational background, emotional state and determination of a newbie-trader..
But generally if one still didn't manage to be profitable in 2 months, he should quit - trading is not his hobby.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: June 26, 2018, 07:48:31 PM
It would be very difficult to calculate the statistics of users of each country, but the comparison of Bitcoin ATM growth from this early 2017 report can be the initial reference of the statistics.
Perhaps by the end of this year, there will be more Bitcoin ATM growth across the board due to the growing interest in bitcoin this year.

The number of Bitcoin ATMs says nothing about the actual share of participation of this or that country on crypto market.
Take China, for example: running and participating in ICO was prohibited there in 2017, but the Chinese are still buying already registered ICO accounts and do trading as if nothing happened.
That's the power of crypto - you are able to overcome all the obstacles in order to get a piece of the pie!
206  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have another job besides being a Bounty Hunter? on: June 26, 2018, 07:38:21 PM
I understand that being a bounty Hunter can make money and improve the family economy, but do you have other jobs? because if I just rely on money from Bounty I think it will not be enough.

Most bounties are expanded in time and it takes several months to get your reward.
Personally I am not as brave to quit my full-time job and do bounties only, because I don't have that "backup: capital that would allow me to rely on bounties only.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: June 26, 2018, 07:35:28 PM
It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
There are certain indicators that allow to sort out explicitly scam projects: background of the team, price of the token, duration of ICO, feedbacks of experts, etc.
Most projects close up their activities not because they INTENDED to scam people but because they didn't reach at least the soft cap, are not able to adequately advertise their product and so on.
Oh there can be thousands of reasons..
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: June 25, 2018, 06:08:06 PM

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I wouldn't recommend holding too many coins on an exchange, especially after the latest news related to exchanges being hacked.
You can keep a minimum amount of tokens for daily trading, but it would be better to draw them back to your wallet in the end of each trading day.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: June 25, 2018, 06:03:58 PM
All Altcoins dump again. What is the reason? What happen crypto market in this time? What we need to do for this?Any suggestions...
Somebody is manipulating the market in order to buy the cheap coins and then sell them with a good margin.
I can't see what we can do in such a situation except for waiting patiently for the end of this negative trend.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: June 24, 2018, 06:33:04 PM
i want to know what makes the cryprto dangerous? to the point that many countries band the use of crypto in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

If we followed the logics of the governments banning crypto, we should have banned all other money because they also can be used for weapon sales, drugs trafficing and so on.
In most cases it is also difficult to track the originator of the deal, especially if he is using cash.
So, I've always been saying that it's not the crypto itself that is dangerous, but the people who use it for bad purposes.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to stop using Bitcoin as a form of investment and start using it as payment on: June 24, 2018, 06:28:05 PM

Look I know we are a free community, but come on don't you think the price has become so volatile during the past few months just because people started using it as a form of investment. I've seen people buy in low, in hopes of selling it at high, and that's basically pump and dump.

In fact, fiat money is also an object of speculation, especially in countries with struggling economy that are unable to stabilize their currency.
When war started in my country 4 years ago our currency lost more than 300% of its value.
I can only guess the scale of manipulations that took place when this process started.
What I mean is that cryptocurrencies are still young and are prone to all the "growing pains" of a relatively new technology.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: June 24, 2018, 06:05:39 PM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other
Security, privacy and freedom to deal with your money are of greater importance for me.
If we talk about safe transfer speed, it is not the main advantage of bitcoin, as the speed is rather low and the fees for transactions are still rather high if compared with Ethereum, for example.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: June 21, 2018, 05:55:01 PM

2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.
I think that's the main reason why ICOs fail.
There are so many alike projects on the horizon.
In Telegram groups people keep asking "What is the difference of your project with project XXX?". And in fact in most cases the difference is very small (like increasing speed of transactions to 5%).
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manager Level = Campaign Successfully? on: June 21, 2018, 05:51:40 PM
Many of us have a spreadsheet or we have read many posts with the best known managers (most of them are Legendary users) and their new bounty campaigns, but the reality is that it is not about managers to be paid for the hard work we do because if the project does not get enough funds, Nobody receives their reward. Everything depends on the success of the project, that is clear.

As for managers, do you take into consideration the rank of the user who manages the campaign?
Because I've seen Sr members in campaigns promoted by Jr. Members, so I don't know if the level of user is a deadline between Trustful, Scam or Successfully  ICOs.
Yes, I do pay attention to the rank of bounty managers.
I try avoiding campaigns that are administered by Newbies of Jr. Members as this is the clear evidence of the lack of experience.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are going down again? Bithumb HACKED (30MIL USD) on: June 21, 2018, 05:35:38 PM
really what do you say? from where did you get that information? can you provide links from sources of information you get?
Try using Google: https://www.coindesk.com/bithumb-exchanges-31-million-hack-know-dont-know/

I just hope that they will cover the losses of all those people who trusted them.
And yes, bitcoin lost around $200 a couple of hours after the publication about the hack attack.
So we can see that security issues indeed affect the market and prices.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: A small village strengthening it's Economy by cryptocurrencies. on: June 21, 2018, 05:30:28 PM
A village that ran Initial Coin Offering to secure funding. that sounds weird enough to me. Anyone able to explain how the society and the village able to get benefit from it. And what exactly the use of the Coin?
They say that "All the funds that the village manages to gain through this ICO will be used for carrying out further business development in collaboration with the village itself."
I'm not quite sure what these business activities will look like. Perhaps, forestry? some cultural events? "green economy"?
I would love to read their white paper or a roadmap, but, unfortunately, the website is in Chinese only.
I wish they would translate it into English at least in order to attract more curious people..
217  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: June 21, 2018, 05:19:27 PM

With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!

I wonder what could be the criteria of "legalizing" certain coins? Co-operation of the project team with the industry leaders? Working prototype? What else can you think about?
Crypto market is very subjective, you know, and is based on the human psychology and wish for adventurism.
In this way it would be very difficult to draw the outlines for the projects to be accepted as "trustworthy"..
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price "drop" on: June 21, 2018, 05:12:07 PM
I feel like it's my obligation to share my 2 cents on current "steep" drop of bitcoin price. I find it absolutely unbelievable when people say how low the price of btc is, speaking of the price at $10k or $11k. Those who have been in this industry long enough to remember the price of btc to be $5 are just shrugging their shoulders short of words.

What I'm trying to say is that those new community members so called "hypers" should stop spreading fud when price goes down and same goes with price growing. Actually growing price of btc is kind of problem as it's starting to miss its original purpose of cheap quick transactions. We need people focusing on real value of this ecosystem rather than moon kids...

If BTC price permanently goes below $5,000 it wouldn't be as popular as it is now because most crypto traders see bitcoin as a speculative asset to make money with but not a cheap method of payment.
Nobody will trade bitcoin, everybody would just hold hoping for the price increase, and, eventually, the market will die (or switch to more prospective coins).
I think in such in such a case a kind of "reboot" of the whole system of trust in cryptocurrencies will be needed..
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: June 21, 2018, 04:57:00 PM
Now a days business and product is for all. Every country exchange their core product with other countries to meet theit demand. What you think Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business?
The only evidence of participation of cryptocurrencies in the expansion of businesses is that some services accept payments in bitcoin.
I hope that this situation will change in the nearest future and blockchain will allow to develop universal solutions that would benefit the security and speed of business activities.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: June 20, 2018, 08:22:55 PM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

Many ICOs provide bonuses like +10-15-20% discount for traders who decided to buy their coins in certain periods of time.
Moreover, the number of tokens allocated to bounty program generally does not exceed around 5%, so I don't think the "agiotage" created by bounty hunters substantially affects the price of the token.
