201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 25, 2019, 02:15:03 AM
Man Utd still have time to turn it around as its only three games in. I can remember the days where no team could beat them at home and now we have seen in the past few years lower ranked teams beating them at home and sometimes winning easily. Man Utd have lost that winning mentality playing at home and no teams fear them anymore. I still think they can finish in the top four this season but they will need to improve to do so.
They don't seem to have a good role playing, they don't have the same high trust as before. there is no experienced player in Man Utd who can lift the morale.mentality of the players. This has happened to Liverpool in the 2014/2015 season. This is not about the coach or the lack of good players in Man utd, they just need their trust back #imo
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin and the games industry? on: August 24, 2019, 12:54:26 PM
Do you think they will use?
And if yes, how they can use BTC, blockchain and cryptos in general?
The only and most obvious for me is use cryptos to pay games,
in steam, psn, xbox live and etc, but I'd like to see your ideas guys
There is no matter of wonder,  about the relation between Bitcoin and the games industry. I've already seen their are a lot of  games industry who allows bitcoin as their payment method especially for casinos.
Morever they can have their won coin/token as their payment method. blockchain & others maybe possible in future Csuse I belive technology will have much more advanced than now
Because payment by bitcoin is much simpler than using CC, debit, or paypal. not only the game industry but many online-based
industries are starting to partner with bitcoin for payment. in industry 4.0 and above bitcoin will be king in terms of payment.
203  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can We Expect A Legally Compliant Bitcoin Bank Soon? on: August 24, 2019, 12:35:51 PM
I doubt with it, because bitcoin was designed as a bank for their user. Every user can do these things easily without an organization or a party to manage it.

As done by this forum, some user can make a loan to other people and they will pay within the allotted time with consequences when someone who borrows late to pays then their account will have a negative trust.

Indeed!

With Bitcoin we are own banks where we can held up our assets without any need of third parties or services. This is what makes Bitcoin itself becomes popular and
an exceptional innovation. We don't need banks yet we are already get tired of it since in the beginning.

Actually that idea is like making an exchange site or online wallet into physical form by adding some facilities like banks have. and your thoughts are like becoming your own bank will still exist even though bitcoin bank in the future is present, the bank won't force you to join, right? I think to implement this idea, then regulations for bitcoin must be made first.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bearish short term but Bullish long term on: August 24, 2019, 12:18:32 PM
Like it did for several times, price fluctuations seem to be uncontrollable. Will not be a surprise as to be in a roller coaster and this market twist is helping ti make more gains. Some of us are looking for the bear season for them to buy more coins while the others are waiting for the market to rise up to sell their cryptos. This is what it makes the market going up and down, and there is no need to wonder and makes some complaint.
I think fluctuation usually not controlled, isnt it? I mean changes in prices do move very quickly up and down when fluctuations occur. but right now the market is not that bad right? prices are still stable in the range of $10k. the worst may only fall a few percent and not fall below $9k.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick and tired of this Bitcoin on: August 24, 2019, 11:50:29 AM
You just impatience like many people do
If you want to instant profit, why not trying to gambling or participate in IEO program?
Investing in IEO is popular right now, many people are satisfied with the result after they successfully buy coin/token from IEO (if you choose the right IEO).
TRY IT

Agree, I think cryptocurrency investment is only for people who are patient and brave. because in Cryptocurrency investment, ICO and so on, You will find many projects or altcoin scams.
and I think trade is not only for people who have large capital. many professional traders start from zero, with little capital, great determination and want to keep learning by that thing anyone can be rich in crypto.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy - The media says we shouldn't be afraid on: August 24, 2019, 11:37:44 AM
There was a lot of talk about recession in the last days and the media responded with analytics that shows that the US economy is still growing. For example in their output, employment rate and so on..
the stock market is stable for now but what do you think? Is it worth it to invest in big tech firms now or should we wait a year for a possible slump if recession really hit?
I think the world is getting more sophisticated, all kinds of systems in the world are starting to be based online. By that thing its become our opportunity and signal for us to begin shift our eyes to firms tech to invest, because in the future companies like facebook, microsoft, twitter, apple, etc. will dominate the world stock market.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy using Bitcoin on: August 24, 2019, 11:16:26 AM
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. This is the price of anonymity and decentralization. This means that people need to be careful when they send their Bitcoins somewhere.
Yeah because there is no cancel button for the transaction that you sent, There is no police or special agency will be responsible when you are cheated by hackers, or investment sites scam. Therefore you have to be really careful who you trade with, the trustworthiness of the investment site you choose and many others. You should careful by using bitcoin.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 24, 2019, 03:18:49 AM
I don't understand exactly why some governments ban gambling. Is it like a babysitter government, trying to protect citizens from themselves? Or are they worried about something else?

Probably they worrying because mostly gamblers can do crime to feed their addiction wherein like drugs they will do anything to gain more money for gamble. And the sad things is some gamblers always forget their obligation on their family because they're concentrated of winning money.

Im not saying all... but this is truly exist on some gamblers because of addiction.  Probably that's why goverment trying to banned all the gambling site.

We cannot deny that because gambling is indeed related to crimes cause some of them play beyond the limits. Governments only do what they are supposed to do with the intention of protecting their people to avoid it.
Not really because they are not doing anything to protect people from the crimes but they are restricting gambling just because criminals also might doing gambling such a non sense thought right. But banning will result into underworld gambling industry to grow and also governments will lose the taxes from the gambling industry so it is always better to regulate than banning.
Just because some people who commit crimes in gambling then generalize that gambling is bad because there are people who commit crimes, that is the wrong choice from the government. Gambling should not be banned, because today many people are smart in dealing with losses in gambling. if there are some people who commit crimes, not gamble which is prohibited, but make education for them about the risk of gambling, its will be better.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 24, 2019, 02:58:35 AM
I have known a person who live out of gambling as a profession. My mother's cousin is like that and he's always been going to casinos every night and come home with lots of money. I don't know what he did but one thing I know is he also let other gamblers loan money from him. Lucky enough to received lots of money if the owner of the casino visits and giving money to gamblers. This case is live casino and not online.
Maybe your mother cousing gets money from lending money to gamblers. I'm not sure every gambler can go home every day with money in their pocket from gambling profits. because I don't think luck is always present in gambling games every day. You can live from the gambling business, but you can't live only from gambling games #IMO
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 24, 2019, 02:49:27 AM
I'm just curious about this betting thing about this politics since it is rare for me to see it.

I don't know if it is legal to bet to any political people but i never knew it is possible to bet on them.

This is something that is new to me i guess this is how gambling really is, betting everything from insects fight to politics, you name it.
but you can't gamble every day about politics, because the presidential elections, district heads, governors and other reasons don't happen every day. Yeah the risk is lower because we know the chance of the candidates to win the ballot. but my question is, which gambling site offers gambling about politics?
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 23, 2019, 01:00:36 PM
agree with you, but there is a different with investing and trading, investing need more time to take profit its not do for shortime.
trading can do for shortime, whenever you think you already get profit you can sell it.
both of them has differences and similarity.from time side, usually investing will need long time and it will need our patience to see our investment value growth.this is not easy job if we haven't any good mental and emotion.and trading has the samething too, in my opinion trading has more risk due its volatility very extrem in each day,
I don't think investing does not have to wait long time. many of us often experience having to wait a very long time to see prices grow, right? especially when bearish occurs, frequently many investors have to wait for months to sell? investing is about patience, because it takes a long time for prices to rise and benefit to you
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 23, 2019, 12:55:28 PM
twice a day in my opinion best frequency to check bitcoin or cryptocurrency price.if we look it oftenly it could destroy our mental and psychology.moreover if our asset value crashing and only left 10% from initial price , i am sure we will feel cut loss was best solution at that moment.as profesional traders and investors we must keep our emotion and psychology stable .
For me as a trader the more often you open prices in the market, the effect will be more positive, because you will know the current market conditions and you can determine the right choice for your investment. but for long term investors, would they seeing the market too often only make them panic?
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: August 23, 2019, 12:41:05 PM
To be fair, it is true, right now the only thing that people really want is profit, but you should also mention that 80 percent of projects are going scam or not collecting enough funds on this market. This destroys the whole image of crypto and people are worried about their money, it is normal.
If you are too doubtful about the money you invest, you will often do checks in the market, current conditions regarding the development of the coin or ICO. doubt will make you impatient that's the root of the problem. if you want to be patient then you must be sure of the investment you choose. With what? certainly with a good analysis where the coins and ICO are profitable.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin need to be a currency? on: August 23, 2019, 02:44:21 AM
It is a currency, no doubt about that.

I guess what you are really implying to is about the usage.
Yes, that is one problem in many cases of crypto currencies also in altcoin section.
Merchants are still doubting the usage of crypto currencies specially Bitcoin.
The volatiliy is still their one of the most
Thats right, in the outer packaging of bitcoin is currency, there is no doubt about that. but we know that only a few merchants accept payments with bitcoin, even we are very difficult to find it right? so do not be surprised if many people still question the actual function of bitcoin?
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 23, 2019, 02:22:53 AM
My biggest win was at Bitstarz Casino 3 or 4 years ago.
I deposited 0.2 BTC and won 11BTC.
The BTC price at this time was arround 450$.
I played in the following weeks and months at the same casino and lost all of my winnings. Roll Eyes
I was super excited to read about the amount won until I got to the last line where you mentioned that you lost it again. OMG, that must have really hurt and I can imagine the pain of knowing you once made huge money and then lost it back to the gambling. I think this is where I have issues with all gamblers. How can you be lucky to win big and rather than quitting immediately to get something better to investing in, you decided to try again and ended up losing it all. You are so courageous and brave to be able to overcome this and still strong enough to share your story. I admire the strength in you and hope you are lucky again to win much bigger.

I have never won something big and the highest I ever one was $800 alone  Sad.
It will not be forgotten Cheesy That will happen to most gamblers when they continue playing. they will end up losing if they insist on continuing. that's why you need to have control in playing, so that you can stop after you make a profit from gambling. I'm sure all gamblers have experienced this
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 23, 2019, 02:15:07 AM
Generally stay away from sites that offer high deposit bonuses, you'll end up losing everything if you can't meet the often high rollover requirements.
Just stick to sites like Bitsler of Crypto-Games, they do not ask for KYC and they do run a lot of promotions without rollover requirements.

There's enough choice out there, go over the gambling section here for a bit Wink
I think you can withdrawonly the real deposit you made, or have to wait for the rollover to be fulfilled? if that's true, then it's better stayaway. because it means that the site forces you to play to be able to withdraw. I once found that site like that on anonibet, when the deposit bonus was 10%. Luckily I like sports betting, so I can finish rollover quickly.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 23, 2019, 02:06:45 AM
This secret of gambling is "patient" and never gamble with what you can not afford to loose. Anything else is just a theory
Its not a secret its just a life saving strategy for any one who like to gamble, especially when they think they can lead their remaining life with the rewards from gambling alone.

Of course, there are many people who are still relying only on the rewards earned by through gambling. One thing i am not clear, whether they are making profit continuously through gambling, most of the people will lose their money through gambling.
Lol its not secret dude, everyone knows that patience is needed in gambling so you don't panic and lose control while playing gambling, patience will make you safer in gambling. everyone knows that, so I don't think it's a secret. and I think patience does not determine win in gambling, as you say it is only a strategy to make you safer, not to win
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this how we regulate Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2019, 02:03:10 AM
Regulation is necessary if we want to see Bitcoin grow into something more than just a speculative asset. Author is on point.
Ico's will continue, the reality is that education nerds to happen. There are plenty of shit scam stocks out there today, the same will always be said with ICOs.
of course ICO will follow suit, because ICO is part of cryptocurrency investment as well. Regulations will definitely be made in cryptocurrency and ICO in the future. You right, if we want to see crypto widen its wings, ICO is getting more qualified, there needs to be regulation happen.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 23, 2019, 01:51:08 AM
...
What do you think?

I never like to speak for sure, but it's not easy for any altcoin to pass Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not just a crypto currency. It's also a mission. Therefore, it should promise a greater future for an altcoin to cross the BTC.
Of course, if in technology such as applications, startups, even large smartphone companies if they don't develop and innovate then they will be replaced by something new. why not for bitcoin? because bitcoin is always updating what is lacking, developing according to the times so as not to become obsolete. that's what makes bitcoin difficult to beat by new altcoin
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: August 22, 2019, 12:10:18 PM
Firstly, its limited quantity. Secondly, it is decentralized and anonymous. And in the third, the fact that this coin opened the doors to the world of cryptocurrencies for us. He will always remain dear and best. Another reason is because it is very difficult to mine.

Man, you have not been listening very well to Bitcoin at all. Every developer even knows this and Bitcoin is only pseudo anonymous. If you want proof, just read the news yesterday about Tether and Bitfinex, all their funds being blocked by the US government and they were a Bitcoin exchange companies.

If you buy and sell Bitcoin, you still need banks. So it does not keep you anonymous.
In my opinion, ypu cannot be completely anonymous in today's world. Really. Not on the internet, never. So, it doesn't matter what we do, we are not anonymous when we use any of electronic devices.
Especially with KYC being implemented in many startups and investment sites on the internet. many crypto investments use this method, thereby reducing the anonymity of crypto. but I believe that the anonymity in crypto still exists in some parts. if you have never touched KYC then your identity is safe
