201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - a decentralized world within the Blockchain on: February 25, 2017, 06:12:50 PM
Got a question, got 2 lans with 2 different ip address, i can run HUC local on x.5.1 network, but now the qt is on a x.1.1 network, how can i get unity client to connect from the x.5.1 network to the x.1.1 network?

I already have in the conf file allow the specify pc's ip address and works fine when there all on the same lan ip address.

Only workaround i found might work is running the unity on local pc thats hosting the qt via remote desktop.. Sad

to have more information about the service, have some one made the calculus of how long for the return of the investment?

Not sure if this is a spam post or not, but to be nice:

interestRate/365*deposit=interestPerDay
ROI = amountYouWant/interestPerDay

Plug in your own values here.

If you want to know what you have to deposit to get x per day:

InterestRate/365*x=AmountYouWant
(Plug into WolframAlpha)

Well taken the above data and using 1 BTC and APR of 1% and btc staying around ~ $1,200. Waging the security of holding your own btc and the fact 2 Chinese exchanges, stop without notice withdraws of btc. Are you welling to wager a pitiful $3.29 cents for the worth of a $1,200 coin?

lol you quoted 1/2 of the post, they clam there mining contracts are  independent of there mines/hardware. That is why i asked the question..
again read above post of mine when someone asked if they support Segwit.

Were does that hash rate come from, your own mines? If yes see above post of mine, if no then i would start to worry about your site..

I would like to buy hosted mining but only if the provider I choose is using Bitcoin Core 13.1 and signaling for SegWit. Where does HaoBTC stand on SegWit and if you are using 13.1 how can I verify? Thank you.
What we offer is STANDARD HASHRATE, which means it's abstract and theoretical, and have nothing to do with block version or SegWit.

Wrong, if that was true what was all those youtube videos of Eric walking around showing off your hardware /mining farms.. And yes it does matter, Segwit requires 95% activation of all nodes in order to go live and seeing you guys are mining you are casting your vote one way or another.

Well all i can tell you is i made a new wallet.dat with the new huntercore QT ran it for 2 months in pruned mode, one day (this week) i closed and updated windows reload qt and wallet showed 0.00 hucs when before i closed it had near 1300 hucs.

Seeing i always make backups of the wallet.dat i copied over the wallet.dat file from backup after deleting the old 1 when qt wasn't running. pasted the backup copy and ran qt. It loaded still showing 0.00 hucs. So unless some magic fairy came and took them away by night, what happened to them?

Also with a full node/pruned, huntercore has been bugged since day one not showing any transactions correctly with 0.00 (n/a) each transactions.

This could be a bug, either way not saving my hucs (large amount) on my wallet nor am i running a pruned node anymore.

Well i redownloaded the entire block chain from scratch ~ 16 gb (full node) and still have 0 coins.. Oh well i made my BTC off them twice, so no biggie but going to be hard to trust HUC now seeing coins can just disappear after x amount of transactions or what ever happened to them.

Now this is interesting its only showing on transactions tab 95 transactions and the last is showing 12/17/2016, blah who knows i don't think i can trust a prune node for +2 months of transactions.

If anyone wants i'll  post the entire transactions table (wall of text)

So here is a question, running a pruned node with a backup of my wallet.dat. Today i loaded it back up and showing 0.00 balance and it sync with 5 connections, thing is i had over 1k hucs and now 0. With 500 transactions in the wallet.dat file.

Here is the blockchain explore address.

Is my copy of the blockchain corrupt or the wallet.dat and lost my hucs or what.

PS

Only use 1 wallet for savings/play
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - a decentralized world within the Blockchain on: January 27, 2017, 09:24:51 PM
Well it should start with pruned and sync with your wallet but from scratch.. but running in pruned mode you cant switch out wallets whenever you want, the sync pruned node only will work with the wallet you sync with from block 0.

PS

This also applies to bitcoin nodes as well.

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: January 24, 2017, 10:33:21 PM
so a few questions about staking, whats the average time to receive any coins from staking, days, and the ROI atm i got a massive 53 coins Smiley and showing +400 days before i'll receive a "reward" which is what exactly? I been around POS coins before so any help would be appreciative.

PS

Just to clarify in a single sentence, Straits is basically bitcon core running on C# with sidechains and Segwit enabled and uses these coins as "gas" to run contracts?

Thanks again..

Or could remove pvp all together and hunt AI's mine and attack npc that carry large amount of huc's Smiley but would need alot of hunters to bring the AI down. Kinda like a fort game? But still would be in the same boat, the roll of the dice . who hit who first, etc.

Also waiting on N # to show up would that not make the game even slower?

well one of the reason as stated above is in the old version we had to walk a mile ~ hour+ to get to the coins less combat, but now we are so close together, combat comes into play more often, so its now more noticeable, also not having a giant like f2pool to mine 99% of our blocks just adds even more randomness to the mix.

What could help things might be change to difficulty re targeting time (again like btc) ever 2100 blocks (i think) instead of ever block?

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - a decentralized world within the Blockchain on: January 21, 2017, 01:37:55 AM
Well if anyone of you actually mined instead of just playing this game, you would all realize mining is a random luck draw, sometimes you find a block in (using btc) 10 mins sometimes longer and sometimes even under 10 mins. Making a turn base game on something that is so random is like playing on a ice lake, one day your going to fall through.

Not to mentioning some blocks get orphaned (like it never happened). Granted its a great idea that humans are the miners instead of ASIC but playing a game of turn base on a engine that is random in nature is not the best idea..

IMO

Well in order to make a toon/hunter you'll need a minimum of 101 huc's in your wallet to start, also the game moves 1 tile per minute, meaning it moves at snail pace. and each move tile to a next is again a minimum of .01 huc's fee per move and will go up higher depending on how many tiles you moving at once.

Thing about this new hardfork you'll spawn right next to coins spawning area meaning you wont have to move far to get some coins and the entire circle around the coins is a  banking area just stand on there for 1 move and deposit the coins to your wallet, staying there more the 1 move and get refunded your 100 huc's too.

Thanks, so another question just wondering how many connections to other peers others are getting, i tried port forwarding to huntercore and still only got max 7 connections, i got a lot of add nodes in config file and still only getting 7 most of the time 5 connections, i know huntercoin doesn't have the same "backbone" as bitcoin does connecting other nodes together. I'll post my add node list see if there anymore to connect too

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XDE II coin: Get paid XDE2 coins ($2.50 a coin) to post to twitter and blogs!!! on: January 10, 2017, 06:36:05 AM
Well here is a thought, why make something with an algo if its only going to stake and never mine with hardware.. IE no need to even mention sha256 seeing it was never mineable anyways Smiley

Icon

PS

another thought which came first the chicken or the egg, cant really start a coin without mining due to how POS works, one must own  something in order to stake with it Smiley

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XDE II coin: Get paid XDE2 coins ($2.50 a coin) to post to twitter and blogs!!! on: January 10, 2017, 04:25:53 AM
Is there a reason this coin cant be solo mined and used instead of post links? Or do you own over 51% of the hashrate?

Icon
Fly is a POS coin - the mining period ended a year ago.
That said we are having a multi-pool built so you will be able to mine
and, Steak Cloud is supposed to be adding FLY and XDE2 shortly until
our pool is ready.

well that explains it Smiley so cant POW XDE2?
