201  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: January 16, 2017, 09:10:56 PM
A lot of attack against Lauda lately. I support her work that she is doing in the bitmixer signature campaign. The posts of those users seems of better quality as of these latest 2 months.  I don't support her tagging accounts without evidence  and I agree with Shorena in this.

I've only seen a few lightweight attacks, am i missing something?

So, you haven't posted for over two and half years, till in the last 6 weeks, then you been studying bitmix poster quality, ha, makes sense, not.
Have you applied to join bitmix yet?

Johny, have you just bought that account?
202  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: January 14, 2017, 07:33:35 PM
It suprised me that i can/could even post here, Apologies Hilllie (Can I call you that? I suppose so)., you did what you had to do.

Is that because your already on the 500+ list? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1670807.0
203  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: January 14, 2017, 01:23:40 AM
Ok. I admit i'm not entirely sure of your role Lauda, and you are clearly down the pecking order of "ability to act". I don't mean that in a bad way.
You should definitely not be looking into my direction. I'm definitely somewhat known for my stance against spamming, account farming and account trading.
I'm not.

User search is disabled and there is no way to "close" any researched list without knowing active/banned.
Indeed. This is an good example of use-case for which the 'Banned' rank would be useful.
There was a thread of good argument, mostly for that rank, few against. This example was there. Your thread. Nothing happened.

I pretty much trust you are not involved Lauda. Not the others mods/admin.
I can only confirm my non-involvement. I can not confirm whether someone else is or isn't involved though.
Ok thanks. Indeed, be watchful though.

You seem to be as hindered in your efforts as I am.
Unfortunately we can not do more whilst the forum continues to decay.
Hmm. Interesting to hear you, a mod, say that.
(that mod being powerless to do anything about the 90 farmed accounts listed above)

Quote
After (quickly) inspecting just a few of the listed accounts, they seem connected..

It's so easy to see isn't it, when you have access to information.
You don't have the database access me and theymos have do you?
204  Other / Meta / Re: knightkon spamming the lending section with "lock this thread" on: January 14, 2017, 12:35:34 AM

Pfff...
205  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: January 13, 2017, 11:24:33 PM
Lauda, you said "I (Lauda) lack the sufficient permissions to run checks on those (farmed accounts) myself."
But you do not need security clearance to check those facts on this thread!
Did you mean you are not allowed to look at the blindingly obvious?
Calm down. With that I meant that I can't check logs which could potentially connect those accounts (if not more). After inspecting just a few of those, they quite obviously seem connected to me. You're basically preaching to the choir when addressing me regarding this issue.

Ok. I admit i'm not entirely sure of your role Lauda, and you are clearly down the pecking order of "ability to act".
I don't mean that in a bad way.

You suggested the "banned" user rank (kind of) scuppered by admin.
You don't seem to like account sales, unlike others - Achow clearly, newely promoted.
You don't seem to like spam, yet are very limited in authority.

I have listed 700 farmed accounts - still ignored by globals and admin. Most listed accounts still live months later.
I had to create my own database - probably no other member can easily see what myself and theymos can. Bad bear could not/would not help obtain user info. User search is disabled and there is no way to "close" any researched list without knowing active/banned.

You seem to be as hindered in your efforts as I am.
I pretty much trust you are not involved Lauda. Not the others mods/admin.

These accounts are not for sig spamming, they are for pump/dump scamming. STRATIS, chronobank.io, and others.
Same system as the "wings, ARK" farmed accounts. (same farmer)
bitcointalk - the one stop scam package - Buy adverts for your scam on this forum, and then buy immunity to create shill accounts.

(hundreds of other "as yet" inactive farmed accounts in this period not listed (2 days). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=886828 altcointrader7 is the only inactive account listed to show connection to next member altcointrader8 active)

Two random days posting rota - check others are the same. Conclusive, 1 farmer free to scam here with 90 accounts(+100's more)
I will add more detail in due course.

Lauda, you said "I (Lauda) lack the sufficient permissions to run checks on those (farmed accounts) myself."
But you do not need security clearance to check those facts on this thread!
Did you mean you are not allowed to look at the blindingly obvious?

theymos sells advertising space and shill accounts?
Achow now selling advertising space on his bctaccountpricechecker, even though account sales are "frowned upon" according to the "unofficial" meaningless rules.

----------

Don't forget to to use the 500+ thread for easy reference, now 700 accounts? (i haven't counted lately)

-snip.
Should i publish this list of 90? Some great names in there like,
findscam
loveofmylife
Holybible911
pissmyenemy
moneymaker
wannaberich
whenbuyhouse
icoprofit
Sure. Keep in mind that it will likely not meet the criteria to get added to the table, as I lack the sufficient permissions to run checks on those myself.

I have listed those accounts here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597201.msg17473499#msg17473499
I didn't mean for you to list them here. You have 2 on your list, i have 93  Cheesy

I hereby give you permission to run checks to verify.

Gleb, you do know I can only handle threads made by newbies or threads within in the sections I moderate, correct? The threads you linked are made by members that I have no authority over. You should also know that the staff gets paid for (re)moving threads/posts and handling reports. We do not get paid for leaving spammy posts. I locked the thread to keep paid signature posters out as achow101 posted a very thorough reply.

I can understand that you are frustrated, as I don't like crappy posts either, but there is only so much I can do when others are inactive. If you see something, report it or PM me, either way is fine. I'm always open for handling threads and posts that I missed (or haven't been reported yet).

Verified not very awesome then.
209  Other / Meta / Re: Dear signature spammers... (or account farmers.) -- Read the STATS inside. on: January 10, 2017, 09:15:23 PM
OP, your a "junior" member here? You don't know how this works.
Or just one shit account of many? Deflecting attention away from your vast profits.

You say "I've been doing some research..". I can assure you, as a junior member, your "research" into "farmed" accounts is inferior to mine.
Unless you are farming these accounts, unhindered by theymos, in which case i have a few questions for you.

I have an unpublished list of 90+ accounts, farmed over just 2 days, on 8/9 August 2016, that i found in an hour or two looking at my data base recently.
These 90+ accounts are controlled by 1 person. All posts are by 1 person.
Looking at their posts, Sig money is now small change.
Now promoting Wings, ARK.io, STRATIS, chronobank.io, and on..
(pay theymos to advertise any scam here and get 100 shill accounts with immunity from admin? am i close)

How much will 1 person with 90 accounts be making?
1 person with 200 accounts, how much are they making? (already shown elsewhere to be lots more than your research suggested)

Trouble is, 90+ accounts is 3 pages of A4 for me copy out on forum. 4h work. Hampered by theymos. Bummer.
And i got other lists too. (i've already published 600 accounts with no admin interest ffs)

Oh well, i will do it over the next few days.

You support core small blocks.

So, those millions of new users fit their transactions into already full blocks where exactly?
Adoption doesn't need pamphlets, adoption needs block space.

211  Other / Meta / Re: Wings Spammers on: January 09, 2017, 06:03:04 PM
Could you post a link to all of the accounts?

Mods really don't see this crap?
Bans aren't exactly going at an optimal pace, especially since the situation degraded heavily in through Q1 to Q3 and started improving with the addition of another administrator.

Nope, no change here.
All linked accounts still posting away months later, no admin input.

As i said "many more names to add here, this is just a flavour."
Well obviously there is no point me wasting time posting more links if admin could care less.

(i could list 100's more, and have told of 90 others connected to these in known alts thread)
Are you as disappointed as i am Lauda?
212  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: January 09, 2017, 02:13:21 PM
Accounts Connected: hollandvan, wannarahaa

Miscellaneous: Users were created within 24h from each other.

Due to your misc comment, i looked at August 8/9

Added.

That is great, 2 more accounts connected through members hard work.
But i see at least 90 farmed accounts created on Aug 8/9. Chris's 2 listed accounts are part of that farmers holding.
(chris take #046 off that list of 40 i sent, but you will now need to add another 50 accounts)
Does Chris now have to spend his life trying to connect 90 accounts to prove what me and theymos already know.

These 90 accounts are blindingly obvious to me and theymos - who does nothing?

These 90 accounts are not for selling, primarily they are here to scam.
This is an organised syndicate, they all promote the same things to a man - STRATIS also chronobank.io, ORACLE, lisk, nem, (wings, ARK.io)
Many have Chinese posts.

The pattern of these 90 accounts matches "the" farmer from my 500 list. Yup, he still has free access here, unhindered.

Is it worth me spending hours listing them all when there are still hundreds more. (and themos can easier see what i see)
i am ignored by admin here. Your allowed to do this!

Should i publish this list of 90? Some great names in there like,
findscam
loveofmylife
Holybible911
pissmyenemy
moneymaker
wannaberich
whenbuyhouse
icoprofit

REMINDER:

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!!

You are right, those trolls want to buy dip, damn them.

THE ONLY WAY TO DEAL WITH TROLLS IS STARVE THEM TO DEATH!!

Those trolls pretend to bust scam, but I think this coin is legit, not a scam at all.

Hey scamfinder, i found a scam. YOU.
You are a farmed shill account. (1 of at least 40 found accounts registered in 2 days)

DO NOT TRUST THIS SCAMMER.
214  Other / Meta / Re: What's your "Report to Moderator" % rate at? on: January 08, 2017, 12:12:56 AM
judging from your post history I understand why you made this useless assertion.

Another old hacked and sold account lives again.

Hey guys (and gals) i'm still around. (there is only 1 of me JJ!)
I'm here cos i love Bitcoin, but not sure where i'm going now. (banned? and tagged? the irony!)

I spent my first year on bitcointalk exclusively posting in the Neucoin ANN thread. Keeping the daft from being scammed.
Neucoin invited "us" bitcoiners to review their whitepaper. I accepted that challenge.
Neucoin said they were better than Bitcoin. I (and others members - respect) proved that to be incorrect.
That took a year of my life. I did it for Bitcoin.

I then stumbled upon Decred. I exposed their "fatal" flaws.
Launch was delayed for a few weeks to address some of my concerns.
The biggest flaws were not addressed. Decred is failing. Decred will continue to fail.
The flaws are fatal in the long term.

I only posted there for a few weeks.
I had learned from my Neucoin days that not everyone else wants to learn. (my word against the rich and famous)
I left Decred and their shills to fail. They will fail because of greed.
There are hundreds of these type of coins, many much worse than Decred.

I then stumbled across the blindingly clear farming of accounts on an industrial scale.
I showed how there are more farmed accounts now registering - and staying - than real members.
I listed around 500 - nearly all active - farmed accounts. I don't want to list the others, forever more.

A little help from staff would have been nice. Not just members working like fuck with one arm tied behind their backs.
Tied behind their backs by theymos. (too be fair here, he also ties the arms of some mods)

In the few years i have posted here i have earned exactly 0 bitcoins.
Neucoin and Decred have scammed made millions.
The farmed accounts are making thousands of $/m for their owners.

theymos couldn't even do the courtesy of a single reply in my farmer thread.
Maybe he knew he wouldn't fool me.

Dunno, Just seems to me theymos must be the "master farmer scammer" here.
It is all stacked in their favour. Real people mean shit here now.
This forum is dragging the image of Bitcoin and bitcoiners down. Just like Neucoin did.

Btw, on a different lighter note. Any support would be gladly received!

3 months later, many bumps, multiple prompts from others.
Still theymos can't be bothered to respond or press that button.

Shambles.

I don't see any support for your objections, except maybe QS.
What is the purpose of you posting this?

After 2 days feverishly protesting, 100% of poll respondents disagree with OP.
Same as on the original thread.

Yes, it would greatly help both mods and headhunters   - 1 (100%)
No, it will only make these activists and mods lazy   - 0 (0%)
The access to modlog should be denied to everyone   - 0 (0%)

My bad, i guess QS ain't too bothered after all.

Congrats in advance to Roger's Alt who would likely win this competition.

I've submitted my claim to the first prize.
https://forum.bitcoin.com/post43180.html#p43180

I hope i can count on your support, my friend. (if you had an account there!)
Support from anyone would be welcome.
(edit - any real people, obvs not farmed accounts - hence, no votes!)

4 btc competition, now over $4000, and barely any response's so far, bit weird?
The 12 sig campaigners OG drafted in there can barely post anything decent/interesting between them.

Roger is voting for Gavin Anderson. Now i don't doubt Gavin can write, but does he really need to be awarded 4 btc?
Vote for the little guy. Vote rizzlarolla. Thanks.
(if you have no account there, please vote here)

219  Other / Meta / Re: [Interest Check] - Analyzing modlog for permabans on: January 02, 2017, 02:32:36 PM
Just because a user is "perma-banned" today does not mean the ban will not be reversed some time in the future if they ask nicely

This is another reason against public bans

If bans are made visible (e.g. by bestowing a Banned rank on a user), it will be a lot more difficult to revoke the ban. Right now, it is a business between a moderator and a user, and no one beside them would know if the ban was given, contested and probably lifted. When the bans are public (and still more so if it is made known who banned a certain user), revoking the ban will be something out of extraordinary since that would basically mean admission of being wrong by the moderator giving the ban, and people will inevitably start to question the authority of this moderator on account of that
Not necessarily the moderator making a mistake. Bans are sometimes lifted if the person who got banned did not cause excessive amounts of trouble, was a semi-decent contributor to the community in one way or another prior to getting banned, and asked nicely to be allowed to participate in the community again

I'm afraid that with public bans it will be next to impossible. Let's face the facts, by declaring the ban public, a moderator is burning the bridges behind him. Lifting the ban later means that the ban shouldn't be given at all, and it was just that, a mistake. No mod is going to recognize this in public simply because it will be equal to recognizing his mistake. But that means that the mod is not quite fit for his job, plain and simple. It could work out once or twice, but bans won't revoked...

It is a one way ticket

Is it just me? You talk total bollocks.

Oh, the poor banned user must be protected until he can be "unpermabanned".
I don't see any support for your objections, except maybe QS.

I think everyone knows the reason this is not implemented is simply because theymos is such a dork.
He loves spammers and scammers and those who talk bollocks on his forum.
220  Other / Meta / Re: what is post quality should be? on: December 01, 2016, 10:26:15 PM
"what is post quality should be?" Well, that title says it all really - Bad quality. But even the bleeding obvious has to be researched and debated.

...

Thanks Shorena, Great post, great quality.
Hours of work reading shitposts to help show just one more worthless account.
I used to do that, global mods hated it - they were not interested anyway.
(nor DT, theymos obvs)

I don't read in the threads this "pro gamers" account posts in. No one reads those threads, they just quote and post.
Most accounts in those threads post the same or worse.
This "pro gamer" account, and all those others, are not interested in Bitcoin, only in earning free $'s.
(at least this account doesn't spam discussion, or beginner threads like many other unmoderated farmed accounts)

Just put some effort and thought into your posts...

There would still be no quality.
Unless this account miraculously turns into the next "Fatanut" - quality farmed account
then a false quality may be achieved, i guess.

It is censorship through BS. Drive away any real accounts.
Nice one theymos and your global mods. At least your consistent.
Every bitcoin forum you run, you ruin. (with Core support, of course)

john2231 above giving advise here. Joke. Just another shitposter, cant speak the language, makes no sense, no quality.
